The location. This property needs to be revamped. From the carpet on the first floor that is worn, torn, and has a smell. The rooms nightstands are falling apart. I’m pretty sure the beds were just remade after the prior guest because there were eyelashes under the pillows.. But, what we are most disappointed in was the customer service! Apparently there was a storm a few days prior that the hotel apparently could not handle. The air was out in all hallways and elevators and when we turned the hot water on the bathroom sink, the water was brown. After you let it run about a minute it cleared up. When this was addressed to the front desk “manager” she acted as if we KNEW there was a thunderstorm that blew the air up and did something to the pipes. How are out of town customers supposed to know what happened at the property? It’s not like we received a message from them letting us know they were having difficulties!!! The towels were also an issue. We had a total of 5 guests, and we ran out of towels. When my 15 year old son went to get some more he was told we were just issued towels the DAY BEFORE! Since when are towels rationed? We were then told no towels would be ready until after 10-11am. What do guests do that can’t wait 3-4 hours for a wash cloth to wash their behind? And we were asked to set all the dirty towels outside the door for pickup, so those were already gone. This whole stay was not pleasant. The customer service really is what put a damper on everything. Hilton worldwide, train your employees better. I think the manager is burnt out. There’s just some things you do not say to your patrons.

Location to the clinic was perfect. The removable sprayer for the handicap shower didn't work. The sprinkler in the wall was hanging.

Breakfast is ok. Rooms are quiet. The area is safe and convenient.

Good parking and good breakfast. The staff was very friendly at check-in, but seemed annoyed when I said we booked a room with 2 queen beds instead of the king with sofa bed we received. They just said that was the second bed and they couldn’t help it since I booked through a third party.
- 3/5
The fire alarm went on when I was sleeping. The breakfast was not at Hilton Standards. The receptionist charged me twice by mistake.

We have been here about 6 times in the last 6 months. The facility may be a little dated but the staff is top notch. They go to the max to help out. The performance was undaunted during the ice storm. The breakfast is on par with what you would expect and the area is safe. We will continue to come back.
- 4/5
The room was dirty around the edges. The staff was helpful, especially the gentleman taking care of the breakfast area.
- 3/5
Room is a little run down and dirty. Not quiet you can here all the hallway noise all night long. WiFi is horrifyingly slow so forget about trying to work.
- 3/5
Staff are 5 stars but the facility needs an update. Food is average and the room is comfortable. We feel safe.
- 5/5
Vanessa was very helpful when I checked in !
- 5/5
The basic standard I’m used to at Hampton Inn for a great price.
- 3/5
The Staff is the shining Star at this Hotel. The facility shows its age. However, it is very comfortable, quiet despite the location, safe, and the breakfast is ok. The breakfast is standard for this line of hotels I will stay again.
- 5/5
Very kind
- 2/5
My room wasn't available, so i had to upgrade to a king bed with a pull out sofa bed. The king bed was wasn't properly made up. The sink drainage was stopped up with hair. There wasn't any toiletry items like lotion and bar soap. The food selection could have been better.
- 3/5
Breakfast was awful and nothing like at other Hampton Inns, the eggs were dry and the sausage patties tasted fake
- 4/5
Food was great. Not a lot of options but it’s fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and everyone was so kind. I appreciated the outside guard at night (it is Memphis).
- 2/5
The office on Saturday evening was very rude. Since our room was not serviced we asked for towels and the person at the front desk became annoyed and gave us hand towels and said they were bath towels when we protested she became very curt. When we told her that hand towels were unacceptable for bath towels. She finally said she would check with housekeeping and finally she came to the room with two bath towels a tossed the at my wife and left. She was clearly mad that she had to get up off her lazy butt and accommodate us. Not Hampton Inn quality at all. Also there we no cups or hand soap. Very poor!
- 2/5
Bugs in sofa bed. No extra sheets for sofa bed in the room (we had to ask for them). There was no shampoo or hand soap. Inside the shower there was only hand soap and conditioner. We were 4 people, but only had 2 towels. Breakfast was scarce the second morning. The AC unit kept running nonstop even if you turn it off. Bed was ok and hotel was quiet.
- 3/5
Great staff. Facility needs an update. Breakfast isok.
- 3/5
I booked a room for 3 people and at first I had only 2 towels, so I had to go back downstairs and ask for another towel. The breakfast was too limited, also the juices and coffee were like water.
- 3/5
Nice area. Well lit secure parking
- 4/5
We had the same room but was cleaner and well stocked. The staff is great, especially Ms D at the front desk. Food is fine. Lots of choices in the area and we feel safe. We will be back.
- 4/5
Not the best, but not the worst. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great spot to spend the weekend
- 4/5
Staff were respectful and my room was the cleanest compared to other hotels I've stayed in this past month.
- 5/5
Safe and quiet.
- 4/5
We extended our stay and the conditions were the same.
- 4/5
First time visit. Great, great staff, very friendly and very helpful. We felt safe and secure. The hotel could use a little sprusing up and a little better cleaning but I may be just a little picky. We will stay again.
- 5/5
I needed to wash clothes but the laundry matt is down
- 5/5
Great breakfast great room. Quiet and comfortable. But there was so much security outside, fenced parking and guards at the entrance I was a bit worried by it all. But that may just be me.
- 4/5
Could have used an alarm clock in the room and had to request soap for the room.
- 4/5
Everything was pretty good.
- 5/5
Loved everything about our stay except the bathroom door was incredibly hard to open and close. Otherwise, perfect stay.
- 1/5
Elevator not working consistently No towels...i had to buy $60 worh of towels Young lady up fron extremely rude
- 1/5
Building is old and out of date management is rude and disrespectful. People are hanging out front smoking marijuana. Phone didn’t work no clocks in the room no ink, pens, or paper to write on caulking, coming up around the bathtub water leaking from the freezer in the refrigerator told me they were going to discount the room for one night because I had to change the room and didn’t.
- 5/5
A big thank you and shout out to the front desk staff! One recommendation….a small microwave in the rooms😁
- 5/5
The property was nice and the front desk staff extremely friendly
- 3/5
Room wasn't that clean but the workers where so friendly
- 5/5
Staff that works there
- 3/5
Help me understand why the room don't have any hand soap in the rooms.
- 1/5
I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. A FULL REFUND!
- 1/5
The hotel was in terrible shape and very dirty. The restroom in the lobby had urine all over the floor and hadnt been cleaned. Our room had only 2 towels and when i went downstairs to ask for 2 more towels so we could all shower, i was told housekeeping wasnt there and they didnt have any more towels. I know this review sounds like a Karen review, but this is honestly the first review I've ever posted and wanted to warn others not to stay here. We stay in hotels 1-2 times per month for the kids travel sports and ive never been so disappointed in a hotel.
- 3/5
But the staff was wonderful! Would I stay there again! Probably not! It was just around $200 for 2 nights! I guess you get what you pay for!
- 5/5
great all around
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms Staff was great
- 5/5
Easy to find. Nice staff.
- 4/5
The front desk had to go to the "back" and get key cards every time someone new checked in.
- 1/5
Room was nasty floor was dirty shower held water staff was rude
- 3/5
The carpet in the rooms did not look very clean. In both studio rooms, the mattresses on the let beds were soiled. There was no extra cover in the closet. Also, I saw a small insect in the window.
- 5/5
Great front desk staff and mgmt
- 5/5
Great service and view
- 5/5
I was very satified with my stay and will stay again
- 2/5
We checked in and they gave us the wrong type of room and when I brought it to their attention she said yes you booked a different room but they didnt have one. No offer to remedy it. The rooms were dirty the lobby and halls were dirty. Breakfast was offered, but only cereal and cold eggs available. Not Hampton Inn quality at all!!
- 2/5
Good
- 4/5
Friendly. Security at night was very good.
- 4/5
We had a wonderful experience! We did notice some of the guests were loud and the breakfast was mediocre (cold and rubbery sausage, the waffle batter was empty for quite a while, and the orange juice was very watery). However, in total, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
- 1/5
This was the worst experience I have had at a hotel. We had no clean towels for 2 days!! They kept giving us hand towels to use. We only had 3 towels in our room when we checked in, there were 4 of us. Someone’s math wasn’t mathing! There was mold in the shower, breakfast was atrocious, then the front desk had an attitude with us.
- 2/5
No shampoo not enough towels. We ask for refill on shampoo and no one ever came and brought it.
- 5/5
Great staffing with courtesy
- 2/5
Wasn’t the best hotel and wasn’t the worst but I did expect nicer rooms.
- 4/5
It was okay
- 4/5
The ONLY issue I had wit the property, is the break-ins!! Our truck was broken into and so were FIVE other vehicles!!!!!! The officer said security leaves at 6am so that means either the burglars were waiting to pounce at 6 after the guards left, the guards were asleep on the job, OR the guards were in on it too…… be careful and BEWARE is all I can say.
- 3/5
Only stayed for 5 hrs
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk she good
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
The staff is awesome, especially Daphne at the front desk!
- 1/5
Property is clean and comfortable. Check in at front desk was a breeze…the disappointment is the lack of information about the rude and unprofessional employees that stop you at the entrance at night. Coming into parking lot the hotel staff shines flashing lights in your face, abruptly stopping us before we can even pull into parking lot. We clearly have the parking sticker for hotel parking on our dash of vehicle to show that we PAID FOR A ROOM. Then the hotel staff follows our vehicle to our parking space to add insult to injury and have the last word. What SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE, is an explanation at check in..informing us that if we decide to leave the hotel we will be stopped, questioned and attacked at the entrance when we return by a questionable, highly unprofessional and threatening man… if I was informed or even saw a sign that said we would have to report to hotel staff before we get to our PAID room then we would have never even left the premises or better yet we would have never stayed here and just take the hit on the NON REFUNDABLE price we paid when we reserved.
- 4/5
I did not like that the bathtub was clogged
- 5/5
Always a nice lady at the desk to check us in
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 4/5
We felt very safe in this area. Every employee at this hotel was more than helpful kind and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would suggest replacing carpeting with any type vinyl flooring as it is easier to keep clean. We basically used the hotel as our sleeping place since our son does not have room at his home.
- 5/5
Clean and house keeping was very nice
- 5/5
The lobby smelled fresh and clean. The staff was kind and warm. The only complaint I had was they closed breakfast at 9:50 so we almost missed it, however one of the clean up crew let us sneak in and grab plates. Overall everything was fantastic.
- 3/5
No maid service was provided. The breakfasts were subpar. A receipt from the front desk was unavailable at check out.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel! Very clean!
- 5/5
I really loved how fast the process took to check in, and great, wonderful staff members! Sure will keep you smiling and have a conversation with you!
- 4/5
This was a good hotel. Close to the hospital that I was visiting.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and helpful…
- 5/5
Check in lady was superb! Extra sweet and cute glasses! We talked about our shin tzu babies!
- 5/5
Nice hotel in a nice quiet location. Rooms are very comfy. The only thing I didn’t care for was the bottom of the tub had wide curved sides going into the bottom of the tub. With a very small flat surface in which to stand, turning in the shower seemed unstable. Not recommended for people with large feet.
- 5/5
All I ask of a hotel is a clean, safe, quiet place to sleep. Hampton Inn has never let me down. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet.
- 5/5
It's right in the heart of plenty of food options. Rooms are clean and spacious
- 4/5
My family and I had a great stay in slept very comfortably.
- 5/5
No issues. Seamless process, quick, easy, and professional
- 5/5
Pretty good for a quick stay..business trip. Price was reasonable.
- 5/5
All of the checked above
- 5/5
Excellent experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to TPC Southwind was a huge bonus. Thank you.
- 3/5
Better way of making sure guests get towels and coffee replenished if no toom service
- 1/5
AC unit was so loud all night, we could not sleep
- 4/5
I was in town for the Fedex Golf Tournament and with parking directly across the street, made it very convenient to stay here. Staff was very friendly and has a pretty good breakfast. Will stay there again!
- 3/5
The worst thing a hotel can do (my opinion) is forget to give requested wake up call. I often sleep through my phone alarm so always place a wake up call request. Not good.
- 5/5
Property was clean and convenient for our travels
- 5/5
The room was amazing. Chek-in was a breeze.
- 5/5
The staff at Hampton and Homewood were amazing. We were there for a family reunion, and the staff was very accommodating to our needs our hats off to Mario!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast served and very good.
- 2/5
The area is a high crime area. This hotel closes parking lot gates and posts a guard in the lot at night. But despite this a large group was drinking/partying in the parking lot one night. Wasn't safe to be out after dark. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
First of all the front desk lady - Vanessa was amazing. She even texted me after I checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was nice and clean. Not enough towels and ice machines out of order on every floor but floor one. It was quiet and internet worked well. The hotel is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and food. Safety wasn’t a concern because they had added security and gate on one side of lot. I would recommend
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing friendly staff
- 4/5
Dislikes: no microwave in room and the mini fridge wasn't very cold. bathroom door is sliding so doesnt latch, drain in bathtub wouldn't go down so tub wouldn't hold water. All of the built in charger outlets on the tables were really loose. Phones didn't charge one night because they were too loose. There is a $100 incident fee which isn't mentioned. We were charged when we were about an hour from hotel. They said it could take 5-10 business days to be refunded so hopefully it is. Overall our 2 night stay was great. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Fenced in. I did not like that i had to use uber to order food.
- 1/5
I made a reservation the previous day. We attempted to check in about 6:30pm. No rooms were available. Also, no luggage carts were available. About 6:55pm a room was assigned to us, but not the type we reserved. Still, no luggage carts were available. The staff said they were all probably in people's rooms. They stated there were no carts available for days. I attempted to find a room that had a cart, but was stopped by the staff. They just did not care that I needed a cart. I will not stay here again. Also, the hotel was booked full, but the parking lot was almost empty. Can you say illegal immigrants?
- 1/5
Went to check in and was given a room that had not been cleaned and looked as if it was still occupied.! This made my experience so BAD!!
- 1/5
The stay was terrible. Arrived at 840 pm and room not ready. Had to wait over a hour. Missed out on dinner plans. Then after finally getting the room and to bed, 1130 the cleaning crew came to the room to deliver towels and woke us up. Maybe worst stay ever. Morning staff was pleasant and Sierra was ve try professional. Good breakfast. That was about it.
- 2/5
Needs updated and some things repaired.
- 3/5
The employees were very accommodating and nice. The homemade breakfast was so much better than the continental breakfast offered at many other hotels. On the other hand, there must have been guests who had the residue of marijuana on them because the smell was strong down the hall from my room. Consider putting in your bylaws that guests are prohibited to bring marijuana smells into the hotel. Finally, the next time the hotel update its rooms, consider using lighter colors. The rooms color and lighting were too dark and the rollout bed mattress looked very old an dirty..
- 4/5
Check in was longer than anticipated because of another person having anxiety over where her bed was in the room. The breakfast was not that great. Ive stayed at many Hampton Inns and usually breakfast is over the top. This wasjust blah. Bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. Lots of hair. Clean sheets. Overall it was good and served its purpose.
- 1/5
I was told that a receipt would be emailed to me...nothing emailed. I need someone to contact me immediately!!!! Diann S. Williams 678 852 6255

When I told the lady at the front desk (blue top and black pants), after the initial eye contact she gave me when I approached the desk, she had her head down looking at the computer screen and or her phone while I told her about the lack of cleaning, she didn't even apologize for the matter. I checked out on Memorial Day (it's 4 days later as I type this), I spoke to the manager/supervisor about the matter, for which he apologized and took my info to "make it right" alluding to I would be compensated in some way for the problem. Well, as I mentioned, it's four days later and I haven't been compensated nor have I heard from the manager. If you're looking for a place just to lay your head, then maybe you can risk the experience of having poor customer service. I almost forgot to mention that some of my family members with me had to change rooms, because the air conditioner in their room wasn't working properly (which is horrible in Memphis hot weather), and sounding like a loud motor. Book your stay with caution.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Property was very close to restaurants and other shopping options. Very quiet during nighttime hours
- 3/5
It's normal, nothing distinguishes it from other hotels. I don't like that they take a deposit, and when you finish your stay, they don't return the money to you until after 15 days.
- 5/5
Adequate. A bit pricey for the amenities available.
- 5/5
Property was nice distance from local restaurants and gas stations. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious. Parking in the evening is a bit tedious but did not take away from overall stay.
- 5/5
Hotel was as expected. Average in that my standards were met but nothing stands out.
- 5/5
Cisco Beard and his team made us very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!
- 3/5
This property needs to be upgraded
- 2/5
Very dirty.
- 4/5
Staff really friendly and would do whatever they could to help
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and clean; it could have used additional lighting in the main room; only one light near the head of the bed. The location was PERFECT for our trip !
- 2/5
Customer service was rude, hotel old and unkept.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice enough and the room pretty standard, but the bed was pretty uncomfortable...firm and could feel the springs. The shower was very narrow with the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel mounted on the side wall taking up more space in an already narrow tub. The shower curtain rod was mounted too high so the curtain didn't come down in the tub far enough, and water got all over the floor. The bathroom sink was coming out of the wall and was strangely mounted so you had to turn the handles an odd way to make them work. The sink shower pressure was also very low.
