This was a nice place to stay for a night when you need to catch an early flight out of the Memphis airport. The price was right. The hotel was quiet the evening I stayed there. The front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming.

Would not stay here again. The tv didn’t even have the local channel to watch the nba playoffs. We literally stopped halfway on our 13 hour road trip just so we could watch game 7 and they didn’t even have NBC!!!

This place was aweful. There was brown water coming out of the sink. There was no hot water. The shower door handle came off. Their walls were dirty with spillage of some sort. The mirror was filthy as well with spillage of some sort. When I brought this to the statin, they said run the water for 15 minutes and that there was nothing else they can do. I do not recommend staying at this place.

I have the room 2002 and it’s so bad. There's a hole in the floor when you enter the room. The bathroom is full of mold and super dirty , terribly cleaned, and the carpet is filthy. This is not a Marriott standard cleaning.

It was a very convenient location

Shame on you!!!! I will NEVER use Expedia again. And since I am in my first year of retirement, I would say this was a poor decision by your company to not give me a refund.

The hot water wasn’t working in the entire building staff told me 10 times, it’ll be ready in 5 mins. Never happened. There’s a lot of better options without having to deal with this one

Had water leak spots, air conditioning barely blows, & breakfast was horrible. other than that? AMAZING! Comfortable bed, WiFi booming, IHOP was across the street

We stay in a lot of Marriotts, mainly because we know what we will get. This Fairfield Inn was below Marriott standards, in my opinion. Needs maintenance and updating.

I love the fact that the property is gated, that added an extra level of security! Staff is friendly rooms are clean and the beds A…MAZ….ING!!!!! I wish there were more pillows and the air was on upon arrival

Hotel is not in a better part of town. However, loved that they lock a gate up at 7pm at night to make it safer. Friendly staff. Hotel could do with some updating as bathroom is in need of some work. Overall a good stay.

Area felt very unsafe. As a female traveling alone with 2 teen girls, I ensured we stayed together and were back in our room before dark. Staff was friendly but seeing a gate around the parking lot and having to fill out a form at check-in confirming I understood the hotel rules and that they weren’t responsible for damage to my car made me very uneasy. The restaurant we went to for dinner had a ‘no ski mask’ sign posted. Never seen that before! Room was clean but tub/shower was old and stained. We were just there for the night on our way home from vacay but had I needed to stay longer, I woulda gone somewhere else.
- 1/5
Needs lots of attention, cleaning, rooms renovations, Tvs not working and housekeeping needs to look more professional
- 3/5
Put a smoking area right next to the building so came onto our room through the vents. Gave us a second room at no extra cost.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff. Convenient location, but not right in the middle of tourist places and things to visit. This place does a great job at falling between the expensive hotels in Memphis and the cheap shady places. It does have a hot breakfast, eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, juice. It does have a gym however they are missing the smaller weights under 10lbs. I think this is probably as good as the $150/night places for a good deal. I felt safe in the area. I saw cops patrolling. The property is gated and locked at night, but you can come and go.

Unprofessional manager, horrible customer service. Very unsafe neighborhood.
- 3/5
Property was dirty, didn’t have a lot of the breakfast items and there was a lizard in my room.
- 4/5
The room was clean. Wish they had ice and vending on eacb floor
- 3/5
The property def needs to be upgraded. The beds are super uncomfortable, bring your own pillow, these are terrible. ease of coming and going was fine. Breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Hotel staff were not friendly. Air conditioner and electric outlets did not work and the bathroom was not clean. We notified staff who did not even offer to change our room. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights, however, due to everything, we rented a room elsewhere for the second night and just wasted the money that we had already paid to stay there.
- 2/5
Unlike the listing says, they do not have a crib or pack and play here. The first room we got smelled horrible, but they reassigned us to the same room on another floor and it was fine. The lobby is nice. The rooms are pretty old and dirty. I would probably not stay here again based on price and location (not close enough to the airport).

The lamp between the beds had no light bulb; when I picked up a replacement at the front desk, it still didn’t work. The water out of the bathroom came out rusty (see photo) and would only run hot. My room key demagnetized on a trip down the hallway.

We didn’t realize we booked a hotel in a high crime area. Our truck along with 10 others had our windows broken out while the security guard “was on a break”. The interior was dirty and falling apart. We were shocked that Marriott allows their name in this property. The only saving grace was the sweet women at the front desk. They did their best to accommodate and help us.
- 1/5
The staff are nice but myself and 11 other cars all got broken into. They busted our windows and robbed us. The owner refused to help in anyway. He didn't even want to comp our stay for all the trouble we had. I will never stay at this hotel or any of the Fairfield's Marriott hotels again. You can't even get new towels without bringing your old ones down to the front. I live 500 miles away so i had to drive all the way to my next stop with a broken window because it happened on a Sunday and there's no shops open to do the repair. The window cost less than an insurance deduction so why call insurance honestly. I paid the same amount to fix my window as I paid for my hotel stay. I would like to recommend that no one stays at any of the Marriott hotels for a while. Hurt their pockets since they don't want to help innocent people that had enough trust in their business to stay.

Very Bad Wi-fi. They advertise a pool, and they have one. But it has not been open since the pandemic. They have a "business center" but the computer printer don't work. When you ask about fixing it they claim that they don't have a business center so don't expect the computer to work. The doors are very hard to open. At 150 lbs, I had to lean my entire body weight to open our door. My friend's room was the same way. The beds are too soft since they order "bed-in-a-box" type mattresses. Very poor quality. But the place was quite clean. And the breakfast was good. They went out of their way to get good stuff for the breakfast bar. But very bad wi-fi. Asking about this brought a smile and a blank face, like, o really? It's working fine here? But not in the rooms. The neighborhood is a dump. I won't be going here again.
- 1/5
Then we go into room snd bed looks like somebody slept in it. Had yo change sheets myself oh I forgot to mention we had a feces on the comforter The best if all at over $150 a night they don’t do wake up calls. But then again there was no phone to place a wake up call on Had to believe it is under the Marriott hotel change. Don’t stay here
- 1/5
That evening, the power went out, and we had to stay in the dark, no hot water nor heat for the entire night and morning. We had no breakfast...
- 3/5
The morning after the night we stayed the hotel had no hot water. It’s never good for a rating when only one person in our group of 7 was able to take a hot shower. (He showered the previous night). The clerk should have been authorized to give discounts at least-all we were told was that maintenance had been notified.

The breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was super nice and jovial.
- 3/5
And the bathtub was too grimy to use. Not because housekeeping didn’t clean it. It needs to be replaced.
- 1/5
Window latch was broken and window could not be locked. Wall edging being held on by medical tape. Dried liquid on the wide of the bedframe. Duvet was stained.

I like that the room was clean and cozy
- 1/5
Everything in my room was dirty or falling apart. My towels were stained, hair left behind on the sink, sheets were stained along with the comforter, even the walls were dirty and falling apart. Plus the odor in the room was awful and smelt of urine. I expected so much more out of a Marriott hotel and I was extremely disappointed in the state of my room..
- 3/5
pool was closed and hot tub no 0 on the web page I've seen a nice picture inside pool and hot tub when I get there I was disappointed ☹️
- 4/5
My overall stay was okay I just didn't like how fellow residents were knocking on the doors in the middle of the night
- 1/5
I had a conversation through chat with hotels.com to see if I could cancel my non refundable stay. After they explain the penalties I said ok Nevermind then. I never told them to cancel I was just asking questions. I get to the hotel and they said we just got off the phone about your stay and hotels.com told us to cancel it. Then I have to go through a very long ordeal after being on the road for a long time to get my room rebooked. I was livid. Then the hotel charged me more money to rebook it. What part of I’m just seeing my options about canceling and Nevermind then do they not understand.
- 1/5
Booked on Expedia, called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late. Got to the hotel and they had rented our room.
- 1/5
Expedia told me that the reservation can't be cancelled. However, when i got to the hotel, they told me that it was cancelled. I have to claim the money from Expedia and pay them separately that i did. I sent a request to Expedia but not yet receive any feedback.
- 2/5
The hotel was fine, but unfortunately our car and a bunch of others were broken into overnight. We were parked right out front of the main lobby/doors. The staff had the police reports filed and info ready for us when we woke up but overall didn't seem too concerned and didn't offer any assistance. If this hadnt happened, I would have given the hotel a 3 star review overall.
- 2/5
Beds were ok. No vending to speak of. Had to be let into the lobby by a desk clerk because of safety issues. Big red flag. Should have traveled up to Arkansas. I was extremely disappointed. Never stop in Memphis ever again.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, good breakfast. the only downside is the noise from the interstate.
- 3/5
Our room was hot and never cooled down.
- 1/5
Room smelled like smoke and had not been vacuumed.
- 4/5
I didn’t like the fact that the pool was not clean
- 4/5
Good hotel, hot breakfast, decent fitness room. Overall as expected.
- 1/5
When I requested a hairdryer, the cleaning staff had to go to several rooms to find one. She was very polite and apologetic, informing me that the reason for the lack of hairdryers is due to patrons stealing them. The first room we were assigned had not been cleaned so the assigned us another one. That one had no coffee maker so the same staff member acquired is one. Again, she said patrons steal them . Throughout the night, there was excessive noise of stomping above us and doors slamming all night. One good highlight was the breakfast. It was very good and plentiful. One negative was no caffeine free coffee available. When I booked the room,it was advertised there was a pool. Yes, there was a pool, but it was covered and closed. I can see why it was closed,as the area was terrible, and the pool was probably closed due to locals jumping the fence to use it. We did not feel safe and didn't go out after dark. I would highly advise NOT booking this property
- 1/5
The carpet tack strip also had exposed nail heads and one of the children stepped on it Breakfast was good and service friendly.
- 4/5
The property was very clean and well organized, and the breakfast was delicious(better than cracker barrel). The staff was very nice and friendly. Our check-in was at 3 pm and we arrived at 8 pm, so our room was given to someone else. My party was 2 adults and 1 child. We had to accommodate one room king-size bed. The property surrounding areas was a little run down. People asking for money on the outside of the street. Nothing much to do around that area. There is a mall 15 minutes away, bass pro shop pyramid 20 min away. Over all it was a nice stay, just the area wasn't to pleasant.
- 3/5
It’s was fine. Bed was fairly comfortable and hotel quiet. Took over 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk at arrival.
- 1/5
There are plenty of other hotels near the Memphis airport; stay in one of them. This place is poorly run, dingy, and I genuinely thought I was going to be attacked at the gas station next door. Oh and the pipes randomly screech every few hours.
- 4/5
The staff was great. We booked a room with 2 beds but put us in a sigle. They fixed a little. 2 bed was too small for my tall boys. Willing to move us to a new room but we would have had to come back to do so. They gave us extra pillows to help. Great breakfast!!
- 2/5
Property condition way below expectations. Outside is horrible, needs major Pressure washing. Breakfast was way below expectations, I’m glad an IHOP was right across for breakfast.
- 2/5
During our stay we experienced individuals proping doors open with dirty tennis shoes so anyone could come in our out, individuals doing drugs outside the front entrance, the area the hotel is in has an extreme amount of people roaming and asking for money, people cooking outside in parking lots, my family felt very unsafe and would never recommend this property.

Nice guy at check in. They upgraded me to suite. In suite however- Exposed electrical outlet with mostly gone plate cover, king bed mattress sitting on queen mattress frame so hard to sleep on that side without rolling off. Toilet tank leaks and runs all night. The breakfast was very good- the coffee was hot. I will probably go elsewhere next time. The front desk folks were very nice.
- 5/5
The door locked was broke
- 5/5
Clean friendly staff
- 2/5
Unfortunately, we had a neighbor who liked to blast music early in the morning, which is not the hotel's fault. The hotel needs some TLC. The sink facet needed repair as the water was not draining. The stairwells needed a good cleaning. The elevator had me worried. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was as expected.
- 3/5
The room was cool for what we needed (one night) the only real issues were the bathroom door wasnt closing and the blankets were stained. Bottled water was $3. Other than that it was a decent room.
- 1/5
I will not be using Expedia Evver again!!!!!!
- 3/5
The property was easy to locate. Desk clerk at check in was friendly but not so much the check out clerk. Not happy that my receipt listed only a zero balance but no fees or costs...or anything. I'll never again use Expedia to book a room for this reason. No breakfast offered. Sirens wailing all night so didnt sleep well. Old furnishings, amenities, jerry-rigged locking mechanism on the room door made me feel unsafe. Defenitely will not return.
- 4/5
Generally a decent place for the price. On our visit, it was a very busy weekend and the hotel was sold out. As a result, our room wasn't ready right at check in time, so had a 45 minute wait. The room seemed like it may have just had the carpet cleaned as it seemed damp and room had musty smell. Carpets were still stained. Bathroom was sort of clean. Would have changed rooms, but likely none available and we were short on time. I'll give the staff high marks for doing the best they could. I'll give them another try if I need to stay in the area again.
