The place have roaches very bad. The rooms are over priced and outdated

Sewer lines are also spewing poop water all over the parking lot, so the smell outside is just as apocalyptic.

This is one of my favorite hotels because it is cheap and it is literally right by the bus station I am an extreme fan of the bus because it is extremely cheap literally only 2 dollars to ride around Memphis Tennessee all day
- 5/5
I really enjoy that it’s right by the American way transit center because I’m an extreme fan of the bus and I can easily get to both of my jobs from there because it connects not only to 2 other bus terminals but to other buses as well

I’m tired of how these people treat other people. The people who runs these hotel I paid for three nights. Me and three children are homeless & we separated so my hard working money goes to a roof over my head & my children when they need their mother. So from time to time I have money problems. Of course here another high priced hotel didn’t have a heart. I missed work today and got lucky to have a roof over my head for the night. I had to leave all because I didn’t have $20 to pay to be checked in early and I was already there, I paid for the room before I left work since I was under the wifi. They did refund me my money thank y’all but I will not be back nor refer y’all to anyone. Who ever cleans the rooms terrible I don’t smoke this stuff I work in security field they prices too high.

Its kind of in a bad section of Memphis, but the motel has a gat that lock at night.

I felt unsafe at this property. I almost missed my flight due to the limited transportation options. Horrible expreience

This was by far the dirtiest place I’ve ever been to in my life. We tried to get a refund and the guy refused. He kept trying to get me to take another room. Literal holes in the sheets and absolutely filthy rooms. Also saw very unsafe several people doing pretty shady things in the parking lot.

The location was not in a safe location. We did not feel safe leaving our vehicle. We walked into the room and left within 30 seconds. The smell was overwhelming. The pictures we’re deceiving. We would never have booked this hotel if the pictures showed what we were really paying for.
- 1/5
Terrible from moment I opened the door! Bugs on windows, room reeked of smoke, pubic hairs and dead bugs around toilet and in shower, and sheets on bed were bloodstained....and had the audacity to refuse my refund request

We booked a non smoking and was given a smoking room. The room was horrible. There was soot all over the walls. Dark black marks. The towels were worn and the bed sheets looked very worn. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed. The bathroom door had a huge crack throughout I don’t know how it functioned. We couldn’t and wouldn’t sleep in the bed. We had to stay up until we could get out of there at 4:00AM after arriving at 1:00AM. It’s not in a safe neighborhood. We had a knock on the door at 4:00AM. The man was looking for someone and had the wrong room. Definitely didn’t feel safe. If you like a clean room, a comfortable bed and a safe neighborhood, this is not the place for you.

I was way over charged for this room in a run down area! From the price you showed online i was expecting a high class hotel, not this.

It was a late night, last minute booking on our family trip to Florida. After trying a previous hotel and being concerned about it’s safety, we found this hotel. Fairfield was a sigh of relief to a long day. The premises was extremely well lit and gated with the lobby being right up front so that the desk clerk could keep an eye on the incoming vehicles. Upon check in, the gentleman was extremely welcoming and kind. Our room was located directly behind his office and seeing as it was late at night and slow, before we could even drive around the building he had unlocked our door for us and turned on the heat. It was freezing out and with two kids, he made it that much easier to enter and the heat was a joy for sure. He kindly reassured us he would be there all night and if we needed anything to not hesitate to ask. It may not sound like much, but to us it was just the kindness we needed. The following morning we were running a bit behind, and the employees were extremely kind and helpful and never made us feel rushed or like a nuisance. Overall, it turned out to be a pleasant, restful stay which was exactly what we needed. If in that area again, I would gladly book a room here.

Not an enjoyable area or hotel room experience. Definitely will stay closer to downtown next time.

I checked in and 5 min later i checked out. This hotel looks like it rents by the hour. it is in an unsafe area and the pictures online look nothing like this hotel.

Not good at all. Only good for an overnight sleep and get up and go!!!

The staff was rude. The bed had hair in it. The bathroom was gross. The heater was broken. There was a joint under the mattress of the bed. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Yes it's cheap but there are cheaper hotels that would be better then this.
- 1/5
This place had a smell. The cutomer service was horrible. I had to go to laundry myself for clean towels. There other people staying there fighting and selling drugs. My family and I will never go there again
- 1/5
This place was horrible. There was a pair of underwear in one of the drawers. The room hadn't been vacuumed for awhile. Staff was rude and kicked me out an hour before my checkout time. Only 1 electric outlet worked. No soap, shampoo, or conditioner. High speed wireless? The only truth to that is wireless. Internet connection was so slow that I couldn't bring up google. Lesson learned: check to see if American owned and operated.

At approximately 10:50PM on June 25, 2011, I logged onto the web and made a reservation at this property. Upon arrival to the property, I advised the front desk clerk that I had an existing reservation and provided him with the confirmation # for said reservation. The clerk, who I later found out was named Patel, informed me that he did not show any record of my reservation. He then advised that I would have to pay the property’s regular nightly rate. I inquired as to why I was being overcharged when I had an existing reservation, and he said that he had not received any information from the Reservation Department on the reservation that I had booked. I advised Patel that I would call the toll free reservation line to request their assistance with this issue. I dialed the reservation line, I spoke with Reservation Agent Robin, who asked for my name and quickly pulled up the reservation in her system. She then said that she would fax over the confirmation which included information on the rate I booked. She also indicated that she would give the property a call. She placed my on hold, and then attempted to call the property. By this time, three additional employees of the hotel joined Patel, and I am unsure of what was being said because they refrained from speaking in English. As I was standing at the front desk, the phone was ringing, but neither of the employees would pick up the phone. Robin came back to my line and asked if I was standing at the front desk. I told her yes, and then she asked that I inform the hotel employees that she was dialing the property, and to please pick up the telephone. I relayed Robin’s message, and shortly after, they picked up her call. At this point I am completely unsure of what the agent was telling the property employees, but the gentleman that she was speaking with went absolutely ballistic. It is my understanding that the gentleman that she spoke with was the Property Manager. The next thing I know, I was asked to leave the property. I have never been asked to leave ANY establishment, and I was completely appalled, and totally unsure of what had transpired on the call. The Property Manager kept saying to me that since I called the Reservation Line I could not be given a room. I even offered to just pay the regular rate to avoid all of the confusion, but I was told to get out. After Robin’s conversation with the Property Manager, she came back to my line and apologized for the gentleman’s behavior. I then advised Robin that I had been asked to leave the property. Again, she apologized for the gentleman’s behavior. She said that she was unsure of what set him off, and that he’d hung up on her . After leaving the property, I asked Robin what could be done to ensure that no other customer shared the same experience that I had. No one has ever spoken to me as this Property Manager did, and in addition, I am not sure where the problem lied. Was he upset that I made a reservation online? Did he not want to charge me the rate that I booked? Was this whole tirade because I am African-American? I am completely stumped!!!! But, I do know that no customer of any hotel chain should ever be spoken to and treated in the manner I was tonight. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable. This entire scenario was very hurtful and embarrassing to me as a consumer, human being, and a hard-working, law abiding citizen.

Ok I'm gonna try not to do too much venting on here BUT....The Hotel sucked majorly. The people had major attitude. The room was not like it was on the pic its worse. The light in the bathroom went out in the middle of the night. Everytime we went outside somebody looked out the window. The check out time we received online was 12 but the people called us at 10 and said we needed to be out by 11. We werent loud, or rude and they were. I will never ever go back. Thank God it was only one day and our hotel the next day was the Memphis Hilton.
