Nothing this time around. I was very upset with this stay . I rented for 4 days and for some reason was placed in a room that was smack dab in the middle of the construction that they are doing to the place. I had a concrete scrubber scraping the floor right outside my room from morning til night every day, and was handed towels and asked to put them under the door to keep the mud from coming in, and when that wasn't running, the room next to me was having framing done or something that involved constant hammering. And with a 5 month old baby, you can only imagine what I went through. Very unhappy. And to top it all off I was put upstairs and told there were no downstairs when I could clearly see empty rooms the whole time I was there. Upstairs is hard with a stroller and baby.

Really close to downtown so I was able to walk around Walls are thin so my neighbors phone alarm woke me up at 7:30am

Nice quiet area with well lit parking close to the rooms. Dog and service animal friendly with a small pee/potty enclosed area for your furry friend. Great Hosts, very clean room, newly remodeled with modern updates. Microwave needs to be up on the desk for more accessibility, add a small table and two chairs for eating and talking, place them on the far bathroom wall. Hang the hair dryer on a wall and install a couple shelves for makeup and travel bags. No place to put bathroom toiletries.

I enjoyed my stay. Reasonable rates and they accept cash deposits. I do wish they had a microwave but not a big deal

Can't name one thing. ???????????????????????? Poor conditions. Bugs ? in bed. (See pic) Paint peeling off the walls (see pic) +most likely lead based+ **not confirmed**. Dirty and moldy baseboard(s) (see pic) ? Hair in the tub. Bathroom had old Spanish rice or Chinese food ?stuck to the counter (see pic) Malfunctioning vent(s). Broken coat rack that almost came out of the wall had I put a feather ? on it. Rusty and filthy sink. After itching like crazy I decided to look in the bed where I found little critters that I don't think should have been there. Bites on my legs. Coughing from mold and breathing kinda weird. ??????????????????? I contacted the headquarters who responded promptly with "someone will be able to assist you within 48 hours.". Oh, it gets better. I get a phone call (after 12 or more attempts ) to reach the office - from a gentleman claiming to be the new owner and that they have shut down that part of the hotel due to poor conditions and that they Should not have even been rented. All I was asking was for my money back. Nothing more ( which I believe I'm entitled to) nothing less. $78.00. Thats it. I was told to sue for 1k+. The new owner did nothing but argue with me about how it was not his fault, despite me telling him that he is now the face of the company and it's in his best interest to accommodate my request promptly. He said there is nothing he can do and it's not his fault. Which I get. It's not. But being the new owner- one would think you'd want to make a good name for yourself and be kind to help promote business. I even told him I'd help him market his business if he'd just make it right. ??? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL. RENOVATED OR NOT. POOR OWNERSHIP AND EVEN WORSE MANAGMENT. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANY KIDS, ELDERLY OR EVEN OFFER SOMEONE I DISLIKED A RECOMMENDATION. +HE OFFERED ME DISCOUNTED OFFERS FOR FUTURE STAYS, WHICH I POLITELY DECLINED.???

The room was super cheap so that was a plus. When we checked in we went to set out stuff down and there was makeup stains on the first blanket and hairs in between the main blanket and the sheet. Our pillows had a faint yellow stain on them. When we fully pulled back the covers to get into bed there was an old blood stain on the blanket. We didn’t bother letting The only staff member we seen and just used our own blankets and left early the next morning. If price is your only concern then this place is good enough for a night. If you’d like a more put together place then I would recommend the motel 6!

The property refused to cancel a 3 night reservation and did not follow their own cancellation policy. Expedia contacted and they would still not cancel.

Good place to go for a quick nap before hitting the road again.

I couldn’t get any sleep because of someone in the room next to me blasting music all night !! I called the front desk and they never took care of it, the room was decent but they need to handle the people being loud all night!

Scary area felt unsafe

I would like to talk to customer service about issuing a refund for my poor experience. My fiancé & I are having renovations done to our house, so we rented a King-Size room for 4x Nights at the Budget Inn in Medford. Upon arrival, we were charged a $60.00 deposit, rather than the $50.00 deposit as advertised. We had to request to be moved to another room, as the AC unit was omitting hazardous gases that smelled of freon and the room was uncleaned. The room we were moved into was something they should've arranged by default for anyone paying $300+; However, nearly all of the outlets didn't work. We were alarmed to find a locked, connected room with a light and obnoxious fan that ran all night, which was incredibly suspicious and disturbing to our sleep. Upon check out, the owner mentioned my room was so dirty (to-go food boxes, nothing unusual) and asked me to remove all trash before he would return my $60.00 deposit. I found him incredibly rude, and the rooms inadequate. I would like a refund!

It looked like an older property that has been getting upgraded. The unit I was in was clean and looked overhauled. I had an inspection to receive my deposit but everything was fine. The wifi is a little odd.

Check-in was a breeze. Room was cozy. They provide microwave and mini fridge with each room at no extra charge.

Getting electricians in to update the wiring is expensive, but a fire - or losing insurance coverage - is a lot more expensive.

It was ok.the room wasn't very clean. My daughter and I didn't sleep between the sheets was kinda afraid to not knowing what might be in them.

Not the most quaint environment, but the staff is always nice, friendly and helpful. Typically it's very competitive with rates and that makes it an option for me. I have stayed here on multiple occasions and I am always content.

The room was dirty. Hair all over the floor, on the bath towels and in the bathtub. The bathroom did not have any toilet paper, soap or shampoo. The toilet was not cleaned prior of my arrival and looked like someone had recently left a deposit. The room was cheap and I wasn’t expecting much, but it was far worse than I could have imagined.

The motel was very close to where we needed to be for our appointment, so very convenient for us. It could have been a nicer property, but it gave us what we needed at a great price. Don't go there if you are looking for something special, but if it is close to where you need to be in Medford, they are good people and it is convenient.

The room was not very clean. Hair in bathtub. Worst was the bedspread and blanket. Bedspread had visible stains and the blanket had burn hole -in non smoking room. Why would they put a burnt blanket and stained bedspread back on bed? This cheaper was all I could afford for a quick trip, but is it too much to ask for a clean bed?

Room had not be cleaned, linens had not been changed prior to entering room. Owner/desk clerk is impatient, rude, and unsympathetic.

It was nice, and budget friendly, but the morning we were there, the water was completely turned off.

Appears to be in process of some upgrades, but desperate need of general maintenance. Power plugs by beds don't hold the cord in. Half of lights didn't work. Wall mounted hair dryer literally fell off the wall in the middle of the night. Huge visible unpainted repair spots in ceiling. Bed linens in bad need of replacement. Tried to talk to someone at check out but no one in office at 8am.

Room was minimally cleaned when checking in. Obviously only tidied, not truly cleaned. There was hair all over the bathroom and the hand towels were clearly used. Towels had make up on them and were visibly dirty. Front desk staff were not welcoming or approachable. I did not feel that complaints about the quality of the cleaning would be well recieved. The area around the facility was busy with locals dumpster diving and participating in extracurricular recycling. Would strongly recommend sleeping in your car at a truck stop over staying here. Would have been cleaner and felt just as secure.

This hotel is actually not bad for the price. Bed is comfortable, room is OK clean with microwave and fridge. Bathroom is clean. Front desk staff is friendly. Overall it is a good choice for a short visit to the area.

A passed out man laying in the parking lot set the tone for this awful motel. I refused to stay there even though Expedia tricked me into a non-refundable reservation.

I have never stayed in such a dirty place. It appears nothing was cleaned but the bed had been changed and was comfortable. However i would not take a bath as the tub was filthy included long hairs. Floor was so bad my feet were totally black. Will never go to one of these again.

Outward appearance is it’s an older hotel. Inside, room was clean, and comfortable. Neighborhood isn’t the greatest Overall, it was acceptable.

Room was clean and well stocked. It had free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker and a microwave. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.

T.V. non-working, floor sticky, human waste underside of toilet lid, dirty towels, meth couple 2 doors down argued for 25 mins. at 4:15 a.m. On the pro side the front desk lady gave me a coffee pack the next morning.

Not a place I could recommend for anyone to stay. Unit wasn't cleaned very well (hair on the sink edge, places on the floor not cleaned, hairs on the sheets), there was only one waste basket in the unit, the heater/AC had a very noisy fan, there was no Kleenex in the unit, the hair dryer wasn't working, and the bathroom fan didn't work.

Get what you pay for - decent cheap motel.

I was actually uncomfortable here and locked the door immediately and shut blinds so no one could see in when walking by. I tried not to touch anything in bathroom and left as early as I woke up because of the neighborhood. People were outside my room talking loudly at 5am and smoking. I got what I paid for but won’t return.

The price is not worth at all.

This is an UNSAFE place to stay, I went to check in and there was homeless everywhere and I found a needle by my room. I did not feel safe to stay and I tried to get a refund they would not issue me one. Do not stay here.

The staff is kind. It's a Budget Inn, nothing luxurious, but it fit our budget for one night. Downtown is right there so there were many cute places to eat breakfast and other places to explore.

We got in late we hzd to check in at a window we went to move some bags to room as uber dropped us off and a homeless person stole 1 of our bags. We did chase them down and got it. Not best friend area. Plugs by bed and lights did not work. No place in bathroom to put anything. Checked out next morning.

We had clean sheets and the lady at the check in desk was friendly. The room was gross! Very dirty floor, holes in the walls, noises all night (not sure where they were coming from). The carpet was the worst! Shower was dirty... Just not a good experience overall.

It was disgustingly filthy. I cleaned the dirty surfaces with a facecloth and it was gray with dust. The pillows had dark stains on, a towel looked like it had been walked on, the walls had black marks all over, the cover on the bathroom fan was missing and there were layers of dirt and dust visible. The state of the room made me feel nauseous and I used my own sleeping bag instead of the grungy blankets on the bed. The door handle was sticky too. Most hotels advertise extra cleaning during Covid but this place didn’t bother with the basics. I would I’d like a refund for the price I should have got much better.

I liked the price for a single nights stay. But. I felt like I couldn't trust the cleanliness of the room. By appearance it look neat and clean but I took the pillow cases off of each pillow and found they were old with blood stains and saliva on each of them. Opening the door for the time it smelled like cigarettes. And there was a butt indentation on the bed. Probably not the most welcoming, "make yourself at ease" 1st impression. So I didn't feel at ease enough to sleep under the blankets but instead slept with my clothes and shoes on. But, because I fall asleep easy I slept well. I would like to say that even a $100-$200 a night hotel could make me feel the same way if I saw the pillows we're the same way.

The property was dirty and in bad shape. One of the pillows was stained and there was hair and stains on the pillow case. There was supposed to be free breakfast and there was not.

I did not like having to pay a damage deposit with my credit card. Even though it was refundable the next day, I have never been asked to pay a damage deposit at any establishment before. Also this motel was not well maintained, the bathroom walls were filthy and there was only one paper cup in the room. The Expedia site stated that breakfast was included, it was not. I will not be booking lodging this motel chain again.

It was close to hospital, my granddaughter having baby. Room had musty old house smell, bed covers hadent been washed in a wile DIRTY, PILLOWS GROSS OLD DK YELLOW, thank god we brought our owne blankets & pillows & sheets. Husbond got asked 4 sex 2 times, not a good neighborhood.

This was one of the worst “hotels” I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely despicable! There was blood and other bodily juices all over the shower curtain. So disgusting! Don’t ever, ever stay there!

Check in was great, after that was terrible. Was supposed to get breakfast I rang the bell to get in to get so called breakfast and no body buzzed me in. This was about 7:30 am. Then when I was checking out There was a guy on the outside side window where I turned my key in And I asked him if I could at least get a cup of coffee which I could see they still had some, this was about 9:30 am and he said we're closed and I told him that I couldn't get in earlier to get my so called breakfast and he said I'm sorry. So I said whatever and left. We had another nites stay on the way back home but I cancelled that night, THANK GOD!!!!

There weren't any cups or glasses. The TV remote was missing. It didn't appear the floor was vacuumed. When the bed was turned down there was black debris on the sheets. Damage to the room was poorly repaired. The outside was tacky. The room was way overpriced and not budget priced at all.
