Recently renovated motel on a fairly busy one-way street. Very friendly and informative staff, perfect clean quiet rooms in not-the-best part of town but if you're traveling through, not much of a problem. We drove to get something to eat anyway.

Good price, comfy beds Bathroom needed help: needed a new shower head, it leaked and was not pleasant to rinse off with, toilet was wobbly and had soap dispensers from elementary school.

They have been remodeling and the updates are quite nice. The room was super clean, there are plenty of plugs, fridge and AC worked great. Everything was nice. The building is older so you will see some signs of the “vintage” bones - but everything was very well kept. The staff was very friendly. There was not much else but rooms and I didn’t see any vending machines or ice machine etc. There was a nice sports bar with friendly servers right next door.
- 4.5/5
Very good value for the price. Rooms were super clean and the king bed was quite comfy. Bathrooms were lovely. I called ahead and asked if there were rooms available and the clerk said no. When I got there (after booking 3rd party) there was little to no cars in the lot and the vacancy sign was lit up.
- 4/5
Wasn’t bad at all
- 5/5
The owners were wonderful and the room was spacious and clean. The property is close to a great burger place too! I was very satisfied.
- 5/5
Very clean but could use some updating aesthetically. I felt safe staying by myself.
- 4/5
My only complaint is the loose soap holder in the shower and the loose shower door handle. With a little maintenance I would give 5 stars. Staff was great and parking was so nice. I felt at home here. The AC is super strong so you won't ever get hot.
- 5/5
The staff was really nice.
- 4/5
Room very nice, air conditioned, clean, and good furniture placement. Check out quick and welcoming.
- 5/5
Awesome staff
- 5/5
Great clean comfortable great pillows and lots of towels. Staff was over and beyond.
- 5/5
It was very clean and newly renovated. The room was comfortable and I didn't hear my neighbors.
- 5/5
This place was great
- 5/5
The owner was very kind and made my family feel welcome. The rooms are being remodeled and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. The neighborhood isn’t great but the room is close to the interstate and it's really easy to get to Ashland.
- 5/5
Staff were lovely. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I was in late and left early but the only issue was the location as there wasn’t a lot of food options around.
- 5/5
Very clean, very comfortable. The beds were super soft and comfy, I had the best nights sleep I've had this whole trip! Has lots of storage. Really great value!
- 3/5
I didnt get a receipt from the front desk. The room had a funky smell, worn and soiled furniture, mold in the shower and pipes running against wall were dirty. For the price it was okay for 1 night. For a Saturday night there were only 2 other cars in the entire parking lot.
- 1/5
I was put into a "smoking" room--smelled awful. The bed was uncomfortable, sheets scratchy and the air conditioner was so loud and noisy it kept me awake. And, the ice machine didn't work to top it off!
- 1/5
There was a gang near the parking lot. I was traveling with very expensive music gear. Had to change accommodations.
- 3/5
The room had crumbs or something on the carpet it was clean other than that.
- 5/5
Thank you!

trim falling off drawer. no plub for laptop w/o having to move major piece of furniture, which mgr did. wash cloths so dirty & stained, threw one of them away. noisy. A/C auto did not work. Froze trying to sleep. Finally, just turned it off entirely. BAD exp. Not as Expedia rated, 8.2. Request Refund.
- 1/5
The guy running it was very nice, he apologized a couple times after fixing the sink. The green stuff was still on the wall. He also apologized for the ice machine not working and for not having the breakfast that was advertised on the website. He was able to get the television working. They also don’t provide soap. Don’t expect the place to be updated. We also had pipes and electrical wires run on the interior of the roof. Be prepared to ring the buzzer outside the entrance that might say something about the area. Best of luck.
- 2/5
In the morning with daylight, we saw the room was in poor condition and filthy. There were dark splashes on the bathroom walls and door from a dark liquid, the floor hadn’t been recently vacuumed, when I picked my toilet bag from off the sink counter, it was covered in powder/dirt, the desk chair was falling apart and the stuffing was coming out, and there were semen stains all over the sitting chair. Least of our worries but still notable, there were no garbage cans in the room. The room was listed as undergoing significant cleaning between stays as part of COVID protocols, but it hadn’t even undergone a recent cleaning. We told the front desk clerk who apologized. We stayed here in 2018 and found that room to be pleasing and comfortable and we’re happy to return. We won’t be returning again.
- 5/5
The motel vicinity is quiet and near food places. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The affordable price is a bonus
- 5/5
Great cheap motel, slept well with a machine that conditions the air on a hot Medford night. Don't listen to these Marys, that expect a ritz carlton experience for this price. Everything was fine, felt safe(solo male) Give the tiki a shot, bonus common block brewery down the street, within walking distance, highly recommend. Don't overload it!

Gross
- 1/5
When my fiancé and i arrived at the hotel we were forced to wait in the 36 degree weather till buzzed in. I was assigned room 114. Upon entering, the room smelled like poop. My fiancé entered the bathroom to use it and the toilet was filled with poop making her gag, toilet paper all over the floor, dirty towels. I approached the gentleman at the front desk and his response was it must have been forgotten. We were then assigned to room 109 which had a musty smell. Animal hair all over the floor to where my fiancé and i would not walk around without shoes. I wonder if the bed was even clean. Usually we eat in the hotel room. We would not even do that. I am very unhappy and i would never recommend this place to anyone. Very unclean. Dirty, dirty, dirty, gross.
- 5/5
Manager was nice and pleasant, room was cozy and the heater worked great!
- 1/5
The pictures look great but the quality was not. We stayed in the family suite. The hotel room didn't have any working lights in the front room. The lamps weren't plugged in and one was missing a light bulb. The only way to get the lamp working was by plugging and unplugging it. The bathroom had mold in it, the walls were dirty and hair was still all over the bathroom. The toilet didn't always function properly. The floors left my white socks black on the bottom. We also had to go to the store to buy toiletries so we could wash our hands after using the bathroom. The TV was set on one channel and couldn't be changed. The curtains were falling off the rods. The chairs were also stained. The one good thing about the place, the sheets were clean.
- 1/5
Booked in advance, arrived at the place and they said I couldn’t have the room because it was dirty, claimed they canceled my booking then I was charged for it the next day.
- 3/5
It was cold. I had to turn the heater on all night to keep warm. The manager was on site but not in the office. I had to wait for him to appear and saw no other staff. Only two other rooms were occupied so it was very quiet.
- 3/5
Was told check in was at two - had to wait about twenty minutes for someone to show up. Not sure if that is the hotel’s fault or hotel.com’s fault. Rooms weren’t ready and I got no soap/shampoo. They had a help wanted sign out and the proprietor was friendly, but frazzled - so he could just be dealing with tough circumstances right now.
- 1/5
Place was really ghetto had a person ask for drugs a soon as we got their also manager was rude and the place smelled like cigarettes
- 5/5
Wifi was not as posted. Could not get the internet, it was a stop on our way to Vegas
- 2/5
Photo is from decades ago as the shower, carpeting and bathroom is disgusting, broken ice machine, had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper during my three days.
- 5/5
All was very good and satisfied.
- 1/5
The motel is scary. Trashy people partying all night in the back of a truck on the parking lot. No soap in one of the rooms and no shampoos. Red splatters on the walls of one of the room: blood? No blankets, dirty furniture, weak shower flow.
- 5/5
Older but nice clean spacious room with comfortable bed. Quiet as well.
- 1/5
Shower not clean, no soap tray in shower, missing smoke detector, refrigerator broken.
- 3/5
The staff was originally rude until they found out I was a working professional and then they were very accommodating. I was concerned with leaving anything in my room when I wasn't there. Hotel seemed to be a squatting place for drug addicts when they needed a little AC or a shower. Bathroom had towels and one bar of soap to share between the sink and shower. No shampoo or conditioner. no breakfast at all in the morning.
- 3/5
It’s in a sketchy part of town, but it was still safe enough for a man but I wouldn’t want a single woman to stay
- 2/5
got bites from bed bugs
- 2/5
It just happened to be central enough to everything that it was easy to get around. Nothing really special about it than that.
- 2/5
A very hard working manager trying to keep up an antiquated motel with limited assistance.
- 2/5
Listing says continental breakfast is included. There was not even coffee in the lobby, just 2 cups in the room.
- 3/5
IT’s alright
- 1/5
Room was disgusting. I arrived at 1230am so I had no other choice than to stay. Overall very bad experience.
- 2/5
Good location
- 1/5
We found the room very dirty. It is situated in a rummy part of town .
- 2/5
Wow! Can't believe this motel is still open. Dirty, dirty, dirty. So, much mildew in the shower, I was affraid to take a shower. Found a shampoo cap from someone else in the drain. Film on mirror. Towels....take your own. These had a smell like I've never smelled. I made sure to strip the bed so they'd have to hopefully remake using clean sheets.
- 2/5
Location is in bad part of town. Couldn't get wifi to work. Noisy.
- 3/5
This used to be a nice, clean economy stop with a nice breakfast. Now the room was showing signs of a lack of maintenance, the price was not a bargain. the desk clerks were downright surly and no breakfast was served. We will not be back.
- 2/5
bare bones - minimal of needed items - small soap
- 5/5
This was a clean, basic, and quiet hotel. Fine if you're just passing through. A bit of an industrial neighborhood with houses behind the motel. TraderJoe's and restaurants are a short drive.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
We liked the clean sheets, but the shower base was moldy and looked unclean. The shower pressure was VERY strong, but I had rather have it too strong than too weak! There were stains on the carpet. The parking lot had unsavory people walking around and I didn’t feel safe.
- 1/5
The room smelled like smoke despite being “non-smoking”, there were stains on the carpet, and the shower was not cleaned properly. Do NOT stay here.
- 2/5
Stains on the carpets and furniture, and ants in the bathroom. The quick check in/out process and the shower pressure are the only two amazing things about this dump.
- 1/5
Would not stay there again
- 1/5
Main door is broken, Had to jiggle the knob a few times. Shower full of hair. Mold & dead bugs on ceilings. Lots of random holes and marks on wall. Tv does not work. Hair dryer does not work. There was a homeless man that sat right outside our door, by the supply closet, making all kinds of weird noises. Didnt wanna call management incase they kick him out and he comes back in the middle of the night and try something because i have kids with me.
- 3/5
I wish the place can be cleaned a bit better.
- 3/5
Basic but clean room. Far from interstate. Do not understand why ratings are much better than for Motel6.
- 1/5
Ignore the positive reviews. They must be fake. We arrived after driving 700 miles to what we thought would be affordable and clean. It was overpriced, offensively neglected and dirty. Simply the nastiest motel/hotel I've ever seen. There were two huge trash heaps in front of our two rooms after they gave us the keys to our rooms. We expressed our dismay. They cleaned *most* of it up with a shrug of the shoulders and an expression of "Housekeeping is still finishing". It was over three hours after their posted check-in time. We left and went out for dinner. After we got back from dinner, we discovered that our smoke detector had been removed, there were holes in the walls, there was black mold in the bathrooms, broken lamp shades, dirty trash cans, dirty mirrors and more. It was awful. Like nauseatingly awful. We walked into the office after ten minutes of exploring the neglect and demanded a refund. The indifferent soul behind the counter didn't hesitate. You shouldn't hesitate in *skipping* this motel. Book *anything* other than the Tiki Lodge. It is my hope that Expedia removes any association with this dilapidated, neglected mess.
- 1/5
They never cleaned our room before us so when I opened the door the lights were on, empty bottle on the table, garbage in the sink, and a pillow and sheets were messed. Someone was obviously laying on the bed before we got into the room. Towels were not white but yellowish after many uses. Couches were so old, dirty, and disgusting. We didn’t want to put any of our baggage anywhere but on the wooden cabinet. Anyway the pictures on the website is totally different from what I saw. Never come back again.
- 3/5
It is a central location and clean enough. Staff were nice.
- 4/5
Simple and clean. Just needed a place to stay.
- 3/5
The price was a bit high for the rooms. It was a nice 3 star motel and served its purpose, it was quiet which was really nice, clean and comfortable beds, bathroom not quite up to par.
- 2/5
The hotel is in terrible shape, with dirty shelves and countertops (figured out via disinfection), broken toilet seats and shower and lamps with fused bulbs. The room size is good but due to poor maintenance, this is a place to avoid. And the ac struggles to cool.
- 1/5
Very dirty! Noisy after midnight. Uncomfortable beds. No TV remote, they brought one but couldn't get it to work so no TV.
- 2/5
Just disappointing. The room was somewhat clean, but the shower had mildew on the tiles. The television works with a wall switch controlling a power strip, if you don't leave it on, the cable doesn't work. The temperature knob on the a/c was broken off, causing problems with cooling the room. Overall, not a pleasant stay.
- 4/5
It was what I expected for the price.
- 3/5
This would not have been my choice of a place to stay if I had seen the property. It is very old and located in an old area which I felt was not safe. This is not an 8 star establishment. Their was limited electrical outlets so they used multiple outlet extenders. Couch in the room did not look clean. My bedding had some lingering tobacco smell and I asked for a non-smoking room which it was but bedding had that odor. I booked this on Hotels.com and I read the reviews. This is more like a less than average Motel 6. My other hotels that I booked through Hotel.com for this travel were all 9’s. I would not stay here or recommend to friends. No elevator and you have to carry your luggage outside to second floor to rooms.
- 5/5
The accomodations might be simple, but the rooms are clean and well-maintainer and the staff is friendly and polite. In every way superior to other comparably priced offerings in the area.
- 1/5
Ugly dirty noisy an inconvenience please I'm not recommended at all I can say no maintenance
- 2/5
Place was dirty, tv didn’t work, sketchy area
- 1/5
This was one of the worst places i have ever seen, staying across the street in the homeless camp would have been just as good.
- 1/5
Fleas, rats, police arresting people below me, there's no food anywhere nearby. 0 stars!
- 1/5
Totally filthy and smelled like smoke. Things in the room were broken
- 1/5
Old motel. Carpet was not vaccumed, food dog droppings in corner of room. So uncomfortable that we stayed only to get enough rest to be able to head back out on the road. Sketchy AF.
- 1/5
The big problem here is that what is sold as a non-smoking room absolutely reeked of stale cigarettes with a bit of marijuana thrown in. Management was completely unsympathetic about that or our need for ice despite the ice machine not working. Ultimately couldn’t sleep here because of the stench, so we drove all night all the way to Portland instead because everything else in the region seemed to be booked up.
- 4/5
Exceeded expectations
- 3/5
Ice machine has been broken down for over a year....smoke alarm was sitting on counter w no battery...informed desk...didnt seem to care...shower dirty...
- 2/5
The good: on main drag (one way) exterior halls. The bad: For covid protection we washed door knobs, and cloth came back pitch black. We opened fridge and found a beer in there. The sink required Hercules to turn faucet on. The remote on tv did not work. The chair was horribly stained. Ice machine broken. Door appears to have been forced at some point. My roomies told me that the tub was dirty (I didn't use it), they said blood was by ice machine, cops were down there. Bedding okay, floor appeared well swept. Toilet was malfunctioning. NOT THEIR FAULT: desk clerk was borderline unable to be understood (accent), but was tad curt. Not recommended for single women or vulnerable persons. Stairs not easy for anyone with an issue.
- 3/5
The room was decent. The noise was not. You can hear talking and coughing easily from the room of others. Crack pipe or meth pipe was by my vehicle in the morning.
- 3/5
Hhhhhhh Njjhhhhhhhh
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tiki Lodge. Very nice and friendly.
- 2/5
Unfortunately this was my first stay at this property and it wasn’t the best experience. I was kept up all night until around 4:30am by a few people who were obviously using drugs and yelling throughout the night in their room. I didn’t feel safe and nothing was done to fix this problem. Also, the bathroom was filthy and it hadn’t been vacuumed before we checked in. I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the hotel room without shoes at all. The shower door was broken, the shower floor was sticky, and the attention to detail with cleaning wasn’t there. I will unfortunately never stay here again and am not sure how the rating for this place is so high other than the cost per night.
- 4/5
There were a few shady characters that were guests that hung out outside but you can't control that. The room was clean. I slept well.
- 4/5
Very basic hotel. No frills, no extras. Coffee pot had no ‘pot’ so I had to use a cup. Bathroom is shower only, and should be updated/remodeled. Tiki in name only.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay here. It was in January and the room was pre-heated, the bed was comfortable the room clean and they had coffee in the morning. The staff was friendly and they gave me a ride to the airport!
- 3/5
It was ok - nothing tiki about this place besides the sign. Overall, I felt safe and slept well. But they advertised breakfast to go from 7-9am, and when I arrived at office at 730 there was no answer - I called the main line and they answered, and started the coffee etc... And provided half muffins that were frozen. I was not expecting a big breakfast, but if you advertise breakfast staying at 7 there should actually be something happening but then.
- 4/5
Nice and clean for a no frills place. Management was a little confused, but I think they were struggling with some new people in the middle of the Covid thing, so understandable. Everything worked out fine though.
- 1/5
The room that I stayed in didn't look anything like the photos. The room was dirty, lots of trash on the floor behind the TV console. The shower knob was coming apart and had to be carefully manipulated. The chairs had stains on them. There was a big piece of green snot stuck on the front of the sink cabinet - disgusting... The staff was very cold and unfriendly and never at the front desk - you had to press a buzzer to gt them to come out and open the office door, unlike most motels where someone is around during regular business hours. There were big black trash bags outside by the stairway. It looked like many of the long-term residents were a bit "sketchy" and a little scary. I took photos of all of these things. I couldn't believe that this place was rated as high as it was. I don't think that anyone from Travelocity verified much of the info about this place. I had to compare this with an excellent place that I stayed in at Seaside, right on the beach, super clean, friendly staff, excellent amenities, all for the same price. Next time I book a place through Travelocity, I'll check the reviews from other sites.
- 4/5
the motel is battle scarred but clean & comfy, the wifi is spotty if too many people are using it.The room was nice & perfect for my stay. The road right next to it is fairly noisy at night but not unpleasant.I would stay here again
- 2/5
I don’t recommend this motel for single women travelers. I felt very unsafe. There was a group of men drinking outside late at night. The room was not very clean. Luckily the sheets were washed but the tile had dirt piled up so much that it looked like decay around the edges. I found multiple weed stickers on the floor, wasn’t properly vacuumed. The coffee stirs were in a regular ziplock bag- not very sanitary during covid. The shower “H” was cold water and the “C” was hot. Cracks in ceilings and walls, poor patch work fixings. I won’t be staying here again.
- 3/5
If you are looking for an inexpensive quick stay, this is an ok choice. The manager was very nice and when our original room was unavailable due to damage by the previous guest, he did his best to accommodate us. The next room we were offered smelled badly of cigar smoke and we had to settle for 2 separate rooms, which split our family. Not ideal, but it worked. The rooms appeared clean but outdated, although my daughter's feet were black after walking around on the carpet and the handle to the sink came off in my hand in one of the rooms. On the plus side, it was quiet and I felt safe enough.
- 5/5
My stay was for a quick overnight as I was passing through Medford. The room was clean. The neighbors were quiet. My late night check in at 1am was smooth and easy.
