Motel 6 Medford, OR - North

A/C works very well, a little too well. But, I managed to get one of the older models to get the settings on a better setting.

We’ve stayed at this property in the past and definitely recommend it . Thank you so much guys .

The fact that I have started to get acquainted with these folks is a great thing, they know my needs, by my name and I have a good night sleep when I'm there.

I booked for a king size room, admittedly at the last minute. Upon arrival I found two queen beds. Was told the only king was a smoking room and would smell of smoke. The bed would possibly be affected as well. Pool was cloudy although being used, mostly kids. As for the beds, very basic, hard. I could go on but you get the picture. It has been a while since I have stayed at a Motel 6, they used to work but not so much anymore.

Rooms are clean and well maintained, at the North Property. Maid services are available for daily cleaning, as you require. Every one of the desk staff has a friendly smile waiting to help you. A/C works well.

No fridge, no toiletries, hairs on the top of bedding. Otherwise ok and VERY inexpensive. Kinda what I expected

Room was not clean in the bathroom in the corners was hair. The bed was comfortable. We were on the first floor because my 90 your old mother couldn’t go up the stairs and the man that was in the room above us all night stomped neither one of us got much sleep, and there was people outside. I’m not sure what they were doing. Dogs barking.

It wasn’t the cleanest for sure. Bed sucked. Weird place. But it worked. I lived. A/C worked at least. Good for drowning out all the noise around me & kept the room cool.

I barely got any sleep due to the music playing so loud. Had to call the office to get it shut down a 130am.

The bed is made up with 2 flat sheets and a thin blanket in between. I asked for an additional blanket but was told that there were no extras. I also blew a fuse when blow drying my hair which affected the entire room. The room was $52 so it is what it is. I suggest bringing your own pillows and blankets.

Easy check in and parking and friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately the room was dirty, especially the floor, and the sink was in a state of minor disrepair. But good water pressure in the shower and I enjoyed the pool.

My family and I didn't even end up staying the night at the property. The bed sheets on one of the beds were stained, there was water and dirt on the floor and dresser, the bathroom had an orange stain on the ceiling, the clean towels had hair on them all of them and the sink had something inside by the drain that was green. We were traveling with our 3-month-old, and we didn't even take them out of their car seat for fear of setting them down anywhere unclean. The front desk lady was nice and helpful but that doesn't make up for the uncleanliness of the room. We stayed approximately 10 mins in the room before deciding that we would not be spending the night there. Also I know that smoking on the property is allowed but AC unit from the room three rooms down from ours smelled like weed super strong as if the people inside were smoking at that moment and the car parked next to us in the parking lot was smoking weed as we were unpacking and then repacking our truck getting ready to leave

Besides the room being clean and comfortable for my purposes, the employees made the stay excellent.

3am people next door, female was kicking on the door and yelling for them to open. I tried to call front desk, like 10 times, no answer, I went up to office and had to yell for someone to get to window, asked why nobody answered the phone, she said, maybe we were doing something else. Told her what I going on and she didn't care. Place is a joke and pig stie mess.

Stairs are treacherous, first room was an absolute sauna and dmelled like hot garbage. The heater was stuck on and it was almost 80°. They dod move to the nect room, which was netter smelling snd the a/c unit did work. No refrigerator in the room, so I lost $50 worth of food. No plug-ins near the bed.Had to plug phone in across the room. Never again.

The walls were covered in dried blood splatters and the smell in the room was almost unbearable. I slept on the corner of the bed curled up on top of the covers with my own pillow and a jacket to cover with. The towels smelled so badly they were unusable. I suppose the price fits what you get. I should have slept in my car. GROSS

The room was filthy - my feet were black from walking on carpet & there was dog food left along the walls. Tiny soap bar & nothing else. No parking area for large trucks. Will never go to this one again!

The rooms fit the need for a brief night's stay. The beds were extremely uncomfortable A deep clean is definitely in order for the rooms that we were in. Under the beds were disgusting. Kids feet were black from walking on the floors. Garbage found in drawers and under beds. Shower was hot and had great pressure. Would recommend this motel if you need a cheap, low expectations, kind of stay.

The room was fine but the 2nd night of my stay there was a lot of noise around me and then at 11:45 PM a car alarm went off for what seemed like minutes. Then again a few minutes later. Later after I finally got to sleep it went off again - not sure of what time that was. THEN before 7 AM the next morning there is a garbage truck backing up and making a lot of noise. SERIOUSLY on a Saturday morning before 7 AM???

The convenience sometimes price. Beds are like rocks for disabled person with arthritis. Why are fridge hair dryers gone??

The room was cheap. There were numerous loud guests who made noise all throughout the night. It was impossible to sleep because of the large number of noisy, inconsiderate guests. The bed springs were squeaky and the mattress felt lopsided.

I didn't like that every adult needed their id scanned. Will never stay at a motel 6. I don't like their policies.

Rebecca (I think her name was) at the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room was VERY clean. I liked that they allow locals to stay. Unfortunately the drug scene has made it VERY hard for locals to stay in local motels. We didnt even have to pay a huge deposit or higher rate. Staff keeps drug traffic under control and its much less obvious here than other motels. As a recovering addict I realize its happening here and I appreciate locals having an option but I like that staff doesnt let it get too crazy. Wish I had realized there would be no mini-fridge or microwave! Even the tweaky motels have mini fridges and microwaves so I just assumed. Luckily we brought a small airfryer. I think the map showed a microwave near the vending and ice machines but i was wary of too many encounters with drug using individuals. My teenaged son had been asked for money and lighters by several "guests" and it angered me to be honest. .

I parked my car next to a long white van. While I was organizing my things, to people in black uniforms carried out what looked like a body bag (with a body) and slid it into the van. There were two police cars in the parking lot. Police were in and out of the room next to mine. It looked like a lot of cleaning was going on. It was really creepy to sleep in the room next to a crime scene.

I was going to Medford for a spinal consult and needed the microwave for moist heat for my back and refrigerator for my medicine. No microwave, no refrigerator. I was in a handicap room (I’m 83 and have COPD) that had a very low toilet and not a handrail anywhere People yelling in the parking lot at 1:15 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Dog poop everywhere—in the grass and on the pavement.

I feel bad saying this but I think people should know what they are getting themselves into. I’m not 100% sure but I think they gave us bed bugs. I got bites on my stomach. Another issue was that I think it was a half/way hotel meaning people get brought there when they are in trouble. While I was checking in, a social worker was helping checking in her client and it was scary. I also want to point out you don’t want to go outside at night or have children here. On a good note, the front desk lady was very nice.

Staff was fine. Nothing but bar soap and towels in the room. (No coffee, fridge, microwave, shampoo) Complentary coffee in the lobby seemed to be served with 4 oz cups. On arrival they had a mental health episode from a person in their lobby and haf many cops show up to deal with that. Not motel 6s fault.

Well to start I asked for a early check in and that was denied even by even an hour or two is still denied then the ice machine was totally broken no ice and I went and bought $25 worth of food for the night that went bad because I had to wait for five and a half hours before I can get in the room it was just all around one of the crappiest days

Room was dirty, floors were gross, had no toilet paper. Had to jump the breaker to turn on the heater. It appears many people are homeless who stay here. They kept to them selves so I didn't feel unsafe. But beware.

There was grease like stains all over the bed sheets. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Got a random knock on the door but nothing disturbing too much. Would not recommend for a stay longer than one night.

I ended up not staying here. As soon as I entered the room. It smelled like pee. It looked clean, but it was a horrible smell. I immediately told the person in charge and she went in to smell the room. She then called her boss who said we should get the other room next to it. And that room smelled like cigarette. It was supposed to be a non smoking room. Overall all don't waist your time and money here.

Check in clerk was rude. There was a broken drawer in the room, room smells, and I walked barefoot on the floor for about 1/2 hour and my feet were black. Person in room next to us knocked on the door and asked if we snort drugs.

Since it was winter, I didn't use the A/C, but the heater worked great. The room was clean and the staff was excellent, couldn't ask for better. My only suggestion it perhaps you could put tissues in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

The beds were comfy, pillows were fluffy, and room was very clean. The neighborhood was slightly questionable as there were pill blister packs discarded alongside the road and there were noisy people until very late. I don’t blame the motel for the people or trash, they can’t control that. The clerk was polite and efficient. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room which was a disappointment.

The morning after they served coffee in the lobby and it was really good. When it was time for me to check out, again the next person on staff that I deal with was kind and accommodating. All in all I had a wonderful visit and I would gladly stay here again if given the opportunity

We stopped here to sleep on our drive from AZ to Wa. It was convenient off the freeway and just fine for that kind of stay. Was only looking for a bed and a shower so it filled the bill at a good price. Clean and decent, no frills.

Sheet was stained so I took it off to change it and saw that the mattress cover had 3 disgusting stains on it. It looked like it hadn’t been washed in a long time. Some of the stain went down to the mattress. Also the toilet wasn’t clean. The seat had crud on it and the bowl had a dark ring around the top of the water line.

I didn't stay because you denied me my room that I paid for in advance. I was told I needed an ID to check in.... I had traveled from brookings to your motel in medford but I lost my ID somewhere on the drive along with many other important cards and etc. Now since I couldn't stay there your telling me your keeping the money I paid for services that i never got. I dont think so... I'm a disabled senior who was there for life altering doctor appointments. And you are so callus to rip me off. I want a refund or I will sue the crap out of you

We had a late arrival. Apparently we got the last room which was a smoking room. I had asked for a non-smoking, which is fine. I don’t mind. It was the last room. That’s OK. I was tired, but I think they should air out the rooms. Can sleep with a smell of smoke. It was ridiculous.

this room was booked through Orbitz.com. for 2 nights. I booked a deluxe room with micro and frig. there was NOTHING "DELUXE" about that room. I did a virtual tour of the room I booked and the room i got was NOT that room. we checked out the next morning. staff made no effort to give me the room i booked I dont know if Orbitz misrepresented the room or is Motel 6 misrepresented the room but room 159 was NOT the room I was expecting.

Room was clean but I did have trouble with the air conditioning which the staff helped me with.

Old door entry system. I am experienced with knowing not to have card keys by iPhone or credit cards. However, after being keyed iand finishing necessary paper work for check in. I had to go back as my room entery cards would not work. This was challenging after 12 hours of driving. However with long road trip this is a hreat hotel to vrash at on I5 coordinator.

My one-night stay at the hotel was good. The room and bathroom were clean, and overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Exterior of building in dire need of a power washing I’d say. Room was for a person with disabilities- bathroom flooring dirty, toilet was not ada standard nor sink overall the price was right.

The assigned room was left already unopened and the lights were on. Thankfully there was no one inside but it smelled terrible. Had to sleep with the fan running all night.

The rooms were dirty, the bathroom had stains and a bad smell, there were flies in the room, the drawers were stained, the walls were dirty, and the floor was full of hair. Honestly, it was disgusting, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation, and this hotel doesn’t even meet that.

Plenty of shops within driving distance. Check in staff was incredibly rude. The room smelled like wet dog and was really uncomfortable and hardly had any outlets. There was one side table on one side of the bed and uncomfortable wooden chairs only in the room. There was glass broken in the parking lot. We were charged $10 twice for checking in 10 minutes early after driving 4 hours. No fridge or microwave or coffee. Beyond disappointed!

The neighborhood is rather run down and there are few easily accessible restaurants. The staff was friendly at check-in and the room is okay considering the low price.

I had a rental truck that I meeded to return the in the morning, plus make a stop at Lowe's, Costco, and the airport. Parking for the truck was easy, and the motel was conveniently located for all my stops. Nice and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Would definitely stay again.

Room was dirty, cigarette burn holes in the linens, cockroaches, people, screaming, and yelling at each other all night long, not safe for families. Do not recommend.

The front counter staff was very accommodating and polite. The property itself needs a little TLC but thats not a huge concern. There were roaches in our room near the outer wall and AC. No other signs of issues in the room otherwise. First time finding critters in a room. I did not report to the front desk as I hade been driving for 13 hours so we just dealt with it.

I overheard a woman being possibly sexually abused. Loud guests. Loud music and televisions. You need a guard for this place. Help out the person behind the desk. She was all by herself dealing with everyone.

The non-smoking room that we reserved turned out not to be available when we got there. We checked out a smoking room because that was all that was left, but it was too much for us. We had to leave and go to another hotel.

People that stand outside their rooms & smoke cigarettes & weed that wafts into the other guest’s rooms. Excessive stomping for over two hours from 10:30pm to about 12:30am. Bed comfy. Not a restful night sleep.

The room key kept demagnetizing got to our room it wouldn’t open went back to the lobby, got in the room went to the pool and then back to the room it was demagnetized again. The air conditioner didn’t really get cold. It was cool but still pretty warm in the room. Overall the room was clean and the attendant was professional and friendly.

It's a Motel 6. Exactly what I expected and hoped for. A comfy bed and a TV. No fridge kinda sucked but there ya go. Got a smoking room, which was awesome. They were all segregated from the other rooms to keep everyone happy. A+ for being what they claim to be, a budget hotel.

Checking in was great but the area is dirty, trash everywhere, the building needs renovation; linen is wrinkled and stained. The pathway to the rooms are so dirty. The curtain is very dirty. The pillows are so old. There was no bed spread in our beds at all. It looks like it hasn’t been changed. The front door needs to be replaced, you can see outside even though the door is shut. The door was not put in right it’s not labeled right. Parking lot needs new pavement

The staff were all nice, but the room was dirty. Sheet and towels were low grade and did not look real clean. The room had a weird odor to it and the parking lot was just dirty. Just not kept up well. I would not stay there again.

Corporate really needs to allow these ladies more time to clean their rooms. They are so over loaded with rooms and given such a short amount of time to clean them that it shows in the cleanliness. The ladies are doing the best they can but only given twenty min to clean a room. That’s just not enough time to get everything done.

After 10–15 minutes, she claimed, “There are only two of you, one room is enough.” We had to explain that the second room was for my mom and dad, and I was in a separate room. She then made us go back to the car to get my mom’s ID — adding more stress after we had just driven 740 miles. When I asked if there was a glitch in their system that missed the second room, she dismissed the question and blamed us, saying we didn’t “need” two rooms. To make matters worse, the area felt unsafe. There were sketchy groups loitering near the rooms, watching us bring our luggage upstairs, rubbing their arms and pacing. As someone trained in addiction medicine and law, the behavior was concerning and suggested possible substance use. The room itself was average, as expected for this location, and that’s not our issue — we’re not picky. I paid for a room with a fridge and microwave and when i got to the motel they said they had none left. They wouldnt refund me as they said id have go through Expedia. Expedia hung up on me while i was trying to explain the issue.

The room was large and very clean. Bed nice, bathroom very clean, shower nice and warm.

This was one of the biggest dumps I’ve ever stayed in. When I checked in there were cops looks like a local hotel for meth heads. The room was outdated, the bath had some sort of pink film. Just a gross experience even for motel 6, it was bad. Time to remodel folks. Yuck.

Workers there are friendly and they definitely left the light on for their customers to check in safely.

I never checked in. I got there, parked and when I was about to check in, there was a man at the check-in window asking for a refund because of bed bugs. I contacted Expedia immediately. I’m waiting on a refund
