Clean and beautifully maintained Nothing

24x7 Free espresso! There was a car alarm going off at super early in the morning in the hotel valet parking. Our room was facing it so was loud and woke us up. And it kept going off for quite some time.

Great boutique hotel. Perfect location. Attentive staff.
- 5/5

Beautiful art and design
- 5/5
great place to stay in the Willamette Valley
- 5/5
A beautiful sweet hotel in an enchanting little town. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. We were greeted on arrival with a bubbly refreshment. Even better was the espresso machine and a staff that knows how to do it right and to put the cherry on top it’s complimentary. We will definitely be back to the Atticus.
- 5/5
Very nice historic town and building. Good breakfast and has an excellent restaurant.
- 5/5
Best Upscale hotel in downtown McMinnville. It has a lot of nice touches, tremendously friendly and helpful Staff. One minute walk to the main downtown street, which is 3rd Street. It has all the amenities. Definitely worth staying over and over again.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Beautiful decor.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and well worth the stay
- 5/5
The customer service here is excellent the workers go above and beyond! Will always stay here whenever I’m in town !
- 5/5
Continental Breakfast was really good and very relaxing. Nothing!
- 5/5
We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and we can’t say enough good things about this property. Exceptional comfort, attentive staff, perfect location for local wine tastings & excellent home base for a day trip to the coast. The only problem is that you may not want to leave your room. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
- 5/5
First time, and stayed with family, including teenager and small dog and stayed in the King suite. Great experience super friendly staff and nice location. Also EV charging available if you valet.
- 5/5
The lobby was crowded with people checking in, so we sat on a sofa. The valet came over and said that he could check us in, and did. I got a glass of bubbly while waiting. The room was beautiful, with every amenity one could want, including a fridge with wine bottle holders and a container of cold water. Everything was super-clean and comfortable. The Atticus is one block from the main street, downtown, so we walked to shopping and dinner. This was our fourth stay, and we live about an hour away 😁
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Loved all the quirky surprise features and the free upgrade.
- 5/5
The front desk staff and bar restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about how friendly and helpful the folks at the front desk (Rueben, Ann, and Hannah) went out of their way to make our stay special. They also made great recommendations on wine tour and driver.
- 5/5
I would not hesitate staying here again. Everything was extremely clean and high-quality. The bed, the bedding, the furniture the decor was all wonderful. Dia on the concierge team helped us create the perfect itinerary with two visits to local vineyards and a great lunch spot. They can also assist with restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the bunkhouse room and it was honestly one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend we also really enjoyed the 24 seven high-quality coffee available to us for free.
- 5/5
Staff was so kind and attentive! Hotel was so cute and the location was perfect.
- 5/5
One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was so thoughtful, so curated, and the staff was super friendly. The restaurant was quite good as well.
- 5/5
We stopped at grounded table for dinner, it was delicious. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating and they even had a continental breakfast that was quite good.
- 5/5
The staff at this location goes above and beyond in every way! And the rooms are just delightful.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 4.5/5
Really nice hotel Great location Friendly staff Restaurant/ bar closed on the day we were there
- 5/5
The ladies at the front desk were amazing! They gave us so many great tips on what to do in town. Every single person we encountered was friendsly and helpful! Loved our visit!! It was the highest priced hotel that we stayed at on our visit to Oregon, so we did have to splurge on this one.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, love the free espresso bar 24/7.
- 5/5
Best hotel stay in Oregon
- 5/5
The hotel was so comfortable and well located. It was the perfect place for us to stay and enjoy what McMinnville has to offer. The staff were terrific and took great care of us. Can’t think of anything that could have been improved.
- 5/5
Staff and location were wonderful

- 5/5
This property was fantastic! I was greeted with champagne when I checked in, they had a 24/7 coffee machine to make you a latte or espresso whenever you wanted. They even had curated books in our room for my children based on their ages! The valet and bellman Ruben was incredible! He was so kind, went above and beyond with making our family comfortable, and gave great food recommendations! The Atticus is lucky to have him. When we returned from wine tasting one day, I was greeted by name by the front desk woman, Linda. This was truly top notch service from start to finish. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely return!
- 5/5
A fantastic choice for touring the valley. Great service and amenities, and walking distance to historic 3rd Street
- 5/5
The dining room wasn’t open for dinner two of the 3 nights we were there
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the main avenue with restaurants and tasting rooms, but the staff is what makes this place a gem. Friendly is an understatement, they truly go the extra mile to make sure that you always feel welcome.
- 5/5
The property was clean, quiet and had unique amenities. My only complaint is that the restaurant is closed 2 days a week.
- 5/5
Super helpful and friendly staff. Assisted in planning wine taatings and getting dinner reservations in advance of arrival. Very pleasant in person. Lovely lobby and room was well appointed.
- 5/5
Perfect location in the historic district of downtown McMinnville. Convenient front door arrival and luggage drop off assisted by friendly valet who whisked our bags away to our room while we checked in. Valet parking was offered for $15/night but our valet readily pointed out several nearby parking spots along the street where we would could park for free until checkout time the next morning. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff with a very nice glass of bubbly and given a quick intro to the room set up and a list of local restaurants (the Cypress Grill was closed that day.) We walked a couple of blocks over to the Bistro Maison for a fabulous meal outdoors on their patio. Our room #14 was beautifully decorated, cozy yet with incredibly tall ceilings making it feel very spacious. There was an electric-controlled fireplace set on visual “ambiance” setting, very comfy bed, spotless bathroom with large walk-in shower, flat screen tv, wine fridge set on 38°, and in-room French press coffee and a tea kettle— however the main lobby has all types of custom-made espresso drinks available on request 24/7! Our ground floor room was separated by a doorway leading down to the “luxury” bunk rooms and was completely quiet. The cafe only offered a continental breakfast the next morning so we walked a couple of blocks over to the Crescent Cafe for a traditional breakfast which was wonderful. I am not sure why so many hotels now do not have exhaust fans in the bathroom, but we seem to encounter this more and more.
- 5/5
The Atticus is a lovely hotel in every way.
- 4/5
Nice hotel in an excellent location. Design decisions won out over practicality and comfort in room design (particularly the bathrooms) but the amenities are nice and the staff is friendly, efficient and professional
- 4/5
Construction started at 7:00 am. There was piledriving and loads of heavy material being dropped. It was impossible to sleep after it started. Right next to our corner room. We were exhausted and needed a night of good sleep. Loved the staff, room and restaurant otherwise. Extremely loud construction by our corner room starting at 7:00 am
- 5/5
Very stylish hotel centrally located in the cute downtown area of McMinnville. Staff and amenities are great! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The Atticus was superb from start to finish. The staff was gracious and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary glass of Oregon sparkling wine offered during check-in. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, from chilled water in the fridge to local coffee for the press pot. The location was perfect for several strolls along the main street and the surrounding neighborhood, and I also really enjoyed the Thursday farmer's market. We hope to return! There were some throw blankets, but I would have appreciated one full bed-sized blanket in the closet. (I sleep very cold and prefer a blanket to heating the entire room.)
- 4/5
Very charming hotel with unique decos
- 5/5
No hooks for used towels or pjs in bathroom
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I really appreciated that there were no air fresheners or plug-ins in the room--it was just very clean, no need to cover anything up! Lovely coffee/tea options in room. Welcome glass of sparkling wine was a nice surprise. Also espresso maker 24/7, and it was THE BEST coffee we have ever had. Staff were all very friendly. Great location in town, and location was quiet for sleeping. Decor was very appealing. We were in room 25. Not sure what went on below us until around 9pm each night but there were quite horrible-sounding noises like someone moving furniture for hours each night. Also, the shower was not fully enclosed and tended to get the bathroom a bit wet--adding a door would be a game-changer there.
- 5/5
Everything! The suite was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully cared for. All the details in the room are intentional. And the hotel itself exceeded expectation.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Excellent location. Really nice bar but it closes too early!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quaint and comfortable. My daughter's thought the room was super fancy and fun.
- 5/5
Thank you for the great customer service.
- 5/5
Wonderful boutique hotel, close to the main street in McMinnville. Staff is very helpful and property is beautiful, cozy and upscale.
- 5/5
Excellent choice for your wine tasting trip!
- 5/5
Really a great hotel very clean, well set up and comfortable. excellent staff and perfectly located for Mcminville.
- 5/5
A great boutique hotel. My wife kept commenting about how intentional and well thought out everything was, from the welcome packet with map to the walnuts to the Bluetooth speaker you can borrow. The room was stylish and felt very much meant to relax in. Didn’t feel like a standard corporate hotel at all. Love it, the restaurant and the proximity to all the other locations in the area.
- 5/5
This hotel is wonderful from the staff, design and cleanliness and I loved that there wasn’t any hidden fees in what was in the room. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
There was a fire alarm test at 8:20 am. This was unavoidable but woke us up 90 mins before we planned to. Otherwise, everything was topnotch. Will definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Lovely 2 day stay! We would highly recommend this property.
- 5/5
So lovely. Close to everything!
- 5/5
Staff members were amazing and very helpful with recommendations and catering to our needs. We loved our room with a fireplace and sitting area.
- 5/5
Really great property. Staff was very good
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Amazing stay at this upbeat luxury hotel; not pretentious. Our room was very well appointed, extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. Staff kind and attentive. Walking distance from shops and restaurants, quiet. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Hi! Great hotel. Very modern, cute, and a perfect spot to stay for visiting wineries as well as making a day trip over to the coast / Cannon Beach. Quaint little town and several great restaurants all within 3 blocks of the hotel. Loved the vibe and our stay. Also appreciated the endless free espresso in the lobby!
- 5/5
The Atticus was simply charming. I rarely do reviews after a hotel stay, but I just had to this time. The property was amazing, with so much attention to detail. Beautiful rooms with details like large tubs, barn door privacy, a bowl of local nuts and a nutcracker. The staff was outstanding, and they were standing by to make you an expresso at the front desk 24 hours a day. Plus, town was so cute and the region chocked full of wineries to visit. When our trip moved to the next town it was so sad to check into the next hotel because it just couldn't compare to the Atticus. I plan to return.
- 5/5
24 hr coffee service. Pendleton bath robes!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, front desk very knowledgeable and gave great recs on local wineries /things to do. Easy drive from canon beach and the airport . Dinner at rose marinos was awesome.
- 5/5
Very nice and helpful staff. Great room, with nice furnishings.
- 5/5
The Atticus did not disappoint ! We stayed in the Penhouse because our adult son was joining us. The room is fabulous! The staff is professional and friendly. The restaurant is a. five star Mediterranean food in my book. Will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Fantastic! Can’t wait to return.
- 5/5
The hotel is nicely furnished/designed, really well-appointed and in a great location to the downtown area. Restaurant was good for a casual dinner. The staff was really nice/helpful with suggestions for what to do. The only issue was our room on the 2nd flor was right above the restaurant and noisy. We could hear them emptying the trash into the dumpster and then the garbage truck came early the next morning. They apologized and tried their best to keep the noise to a minimum.
- 5/5
Great stay! Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
I messed up my reservation and arrived two days early for two days when I only had signed up for one. Not only did the accommodated us. They also upgraded our room, and then at check out discounted the room because it was so much more than I expected to pay. An overall great experience
- 2/5
Staff really hustled to make our stay Awesome!
- 5/5
Fantastic boutique hotel with great service and attention to detail. Start w a glass of bubbly upon arrival, a fireplace in the room, great art on the wall, super comfy bed and robes, French press coffee and loose leaf tea for the morning and all the nuts you care to crack and eat. I had a chance to meet one of the owners and they were friendly and fun to chat with. I won’t stay anywhere else in the valley.
- 5/5
A lovely hotel with character in the center of town.
- 5/5
Room was very nice & comfortable, though the sheet & blankets had been tucked in way too far for anyone over 5’ tall…easy fix, just odd! Staff was super & went out of their way to see to our wants….would definitely stay there again. We had a super breakfast at the restaurant too…highly recommended!
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful. It’s a beautiful hotel and staff is amazing
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay to start our Thanksgiving break. Greeted with a glass of sparkling wine upon checkin . Espresso coffee on demand. What's not to love!
- 5/5
The staff made feel at home.
- 2/5
We started our night rinsing out our kettle and tea cups, fixing our own bed, hanging our towels and making room in the trash. Not our idea of a great stay for $400 per night, and definitely not the standard of a "No. 6 Hotel in the World" or a "luxury hotel" they push so hard to be in their marketing. Please consider this and other reviewers who had the same problem when considering a luxury stay in Willamette Valley.
- 5/5
The hotel is centrally located and was a lovely place to stay. The staff was wonderful. The Cypress restaurant within the hotel served delicious food and the service was fantastic, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Nice attention to details and great location. Staff were very helpful.
- 5/5
From the moment we checked in, we felt pampered and in very competent hands. The room was well appointed and relaxing. Such a friendly lovely five star hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Will come back!
- 3/5
Property was nice and staff was very welcoming. The negative was that the elevator was broken during our entire visit and we had to lug our luggage up 3 flight of stairs. we should of receive some monies back for this.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this stay. They even plugged in my rental overnight which was such a nice surprise in the morning to have a full charge. Would totally stay again.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 3/5
Plus: - Beautiful decor both in rooms and lobby...I want whoever did this hotel to work on my house! - Great location right in the middle of downtown McMinnville with tons of stuff nearby - Was greeted with sparkling wine upon check-in - Complimentary espresso drinks were perfectly prepared and a nice bonus - Cool history and associated documentation Minus: - During my first shower, I noticed the body wash was empty and had not been refilled. Unacceptable to not have been checked during room preparation. - Not sure where it was coming from, but I could hear TONS of loud foot traffic above our room. Either our upstairs neighbors were jumping around a lot or the building design carries sound from other areas (hallways? stairways?) - Thermostat struggles to reach its target temp while set to AC - No parking other than paid valet, which is annoying - Shower does not have a door, which is something that always bugs me - Big stain on carpet of our room near entrance, nicks on wall paint did not make the room feel as premium as it otherwise would have - Bathroom does not have an exhaust fan and steams up during showers - Wine glasses were not washed/replaced during daily housekeeping which was unacceptable - Pillows not great (not nearly firm enough)
- 5/5
Lovely hotel right in the middle of town
- 5/5
Great location, fabulous hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a top pick
- 5/5
Mother/daughter trip. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! Walkable to restaurants, shops, wine tasting. Room very clean. Highly recommend. Will stay there again if in the area
- 5/5
The Atticus Hotel was amazing. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is filled with amenities. The location is perfect and very walkable.
- 5/5
It’s a excellent location for wine tasting!
- 5/5
We had such a great experience. The rooms and hotel is beautiful. It is walkable to everything.
- 5/5
The Atticus has become our go to place to stay on our trips to the Willamette Valley. Rooms are large, and interestingly decorated. The hotel's location is central to the to the region, and a great array of restaurants are literally right around the corner.
- 5/5
The hotel has an awsome location, its a beautiful building and the staff are exceptional!
- 5/5
Superb customer service. We had noisy guests above us and the manager took care of it immediately. They went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
- 5/5
Very nice staff…..
- 5/5
Great place! Get rid of McMinnimum’s and you might have a balanced economy.
- 3/5
I was very disappointed with my stay at Atticus. I definitely wouldn’t stay again. For almost 400
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff - good base for Willamette Valley wine tasting
- 5/5
Super helpful and friendly staff. Great room. Definitely will stay again next time in town.
- 5/5
Location was perfect
- 5/5
Service was great! Such a cute property!
- 5/5
Fantastic boutique hotel in Oregon’s wine country!
- 5/5
We stayed at the Bunkhouse and it was the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. The place was clean and had lots of space. Also all staff was super sweet and kind. I enjoyed the complementary bubbly drink and chocolate. They also had water for the guest. I love that they have room service again. It’s nice to come to a clean room every day. Also they had coffee and tea. A refrigerator no microwave in this room. The beds are comfortable. I mean the whole experience was great. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
We enjoy historical properties and this is not a 100 yr old hotel but it appears to be. The amenities were nice and the entire staff were pleasant and gracious. Rates are fair for the property and Valet is reasonable. Great location with shops and restaurants everywhere. We highly recommend the ATTICUS for your hotel of choice. One more bonus, you are near many great wineries and tasting rooms.
- 5/5
Great location, great staff & the rooms/building is great. Can walk to so much
- 5/5
Unique hotel that is always excellent.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great location and comfortable rooms!
- 5/5
Staff was great. Beautiful site.
- 5/5
The people in the concierge department were inconsistent. Maria and Ann were very helpful. Others were not consistent and did not respond when they were off and no one responded for them, This lack of response went on for days.
- 5/5
The only place we stay when visiting Oregon wine country. Great location, gorgeous hotel, wonderful service, excellent food, there’s nothing not to like.
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful. 24 hour coffee bar. Very helpful staff
- 5/5
My second stay at Atticus and I purposely planned this stop on my trip back to Canada from California. They are pet friendly and it is the most charming little hotel. Love it!
- 5/5
This hotel is the most stylish hotel! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they greet you will the best bubbly.
- 5/5
Great service and excellent accommodations...and wonderful staff!

The Helen Hunt room was fantastic. Soaking in the tub was a strong highlight to the stay. The staff blew us away with how spectacular they were.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. I will definitely come back.
- 5/5
They welcomed me with a glass of champagne while waiting for me room!
- 5/5
Really beautiful aesthetic and staff. I was there for a wedding that happened to be at the event space across the street, so location was perfect. We were greeted with a very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend to a couple for a get away, a girls get away or a individual. Can't wait to go back!
- 5/5
Everything about this place awesome, especially the staff.
- 5/5
Excellent example of a northwest hotel, local friendly, locally owned and sourced. In a great location
- 5/5
Very attractive decor. Friendly staff. Free 24 hour espresso. Great restaurant.
- 5/5
Great little spot to stay in McMinnville. Small, but full service.
- 5/5
My husband and I spent a night at Atticus. We had a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Most amazing vacation ever!! We felt so spoiled!
- 5/5
This is a well-run, beautifully appointed hotel right in the heart of historic McMinnville wine/shopping/dining neighborhood. Everything of interest is in walking distance from the hotel. The staff is amazing!
- 5/5
Wow. The Atticus thinks of everything and sees to every detail. Starting with the welcome glass of champagne to the lovely greeting each time you step into the lobby. Probably one of the top hotel stays of my life.
- 5/5
The staff was great
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Wonderful!
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with lovely attentive staff… when I was expecting blackout curtains they sent a guy up to show me the blackout shade wires that I missed… could have just told me on the phone, but they wanted to get it right.
- 5/5
Joey at the front desk was amazing….so personable!
