The overall condition of the hotel was poor. The hallways felt extremely muggy and uncomfortable, and there were people loitering outside the property throughout my stay, which did not make me feel safe or welcome. Customer service was lacking, and the cleanliness standards were unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

Hotel was close to a lot of places, shopping food, etc. our room was clean. The staff was wonderful checking in and out. Parking was great. Would recommend others to stay here if they do visit this area and Georgia.

It is very tight, but there were other options. It's not a easy location, but close to the interstate.

The hallway to the rooms needs an upgrade though as it smell and the carpet is really dirty. And so do the rooms when you open the door. It doesn't smell fresh. They are clean but not fresh. Changing the air filters regularly would help significantly. It would also reduce the humidity/dampness. Overall the price is ok for the standards of the place.

I will not say that it was a terrible stay but it's not somewhere that I will choose again coming from Detroit. Whoever works the front desk at night is the rudest most disrespectful agent I've ever seen. I work for Hilton for almost 10 years and one thing that we stand on is quality service. I would not expect such behavior from someone working in any industry but he was beyond who each night that I saw him at the front desk. Someone should really look into that. But there was a lady that worked during the day on Thursday afternoon that was absolutely phenomenal. She was polite, respectful, and I really appreciated her. She's the one that actually checked me into the hotel when I arrived Thursday afternoon. The rooms were okay, the hallways were not clean, a lot of noise, but the worst situation was the internet being out all day Saturday part of the night Friday which was inconvenience for meetings and conferences. All I was told was they will let the manager know. There's a lot of things at this property that can be improved but I will say it wasn't the worst out of all. So I would give it three stars hoping that there are some improvements made eventually.

Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. My room had 2 beds. One had a live roach walking on it. I called the front desk and a man with an heavy Indian accent answered. First he had problem understanding what a cockroach was and when I asked for another room, he said that he would call me back. I am still waiting on that call. After a long drive I was loathe to leave and look for another room so I stayed and left in the wee hours of the morning. I hope that roach was the only other occupant in that room. Only time will tell. Also it’s very difficult to find the access road to that hotel. I missed it twice.

The staff was the best thing at this place. Check in and out staff were both very friendly and it was a breeze. Everything else was not. The room had dirty sheets, hair in tub, bugs crawling on floor, mold in shower. It was unsatisfactory and definitely not like the pictures.

There were dehumidifers in hallway, which may have been because of the mold in bathroom. Also sink would not drain without holding stopper up. Blow dryer only blew lukewarm air and mattress that husband used was noisy every time he rolled over. Breakfast was okay considering the price. There is not any eggs or sausage included.

This hotel is an older property with a face lift. Its clean, comfortable and felt safe.

The staff were professional and provided excellent customer service.

The water pressure in the sink was very little, below acceptable, the water did not get hot at all. The floor in the room was not stable.

This place was just ok. The hallways smelled like cigarettes, but luckily the room didn't. The room was pretty clean other than some stains on the bedding. I heard a dog barking when I first got to my room so I think the walls are pretty thin. No HGTV, but there was another At Home station to watch as well as some movie channels. No hot breakfast. Very fast check in. I would only stay here again if it was significant cheaper than other places nearby.

We were late arrival at 8 pm. The desk clerk was very friendly and got us registered quickly. However, the room we were given was already occupied. They moved us to another room right away. The room we got seemed like it needed a lot of maintenance. The security latch was ready to fall off the door, the ironing board was broken, the hair dryer didn't work and the towel hook in the bathroom fell off when we put a towel on it. Also, the hallway seemed to smell smoky when we first got there, but it seemed alright in the morning. Breakfast was very sparse but live able. The room was comfortable even with the limited TV offering.

The room was in good condition, except the bathroom door didnt close and the main door didnt close automatically, one would have to push it closed. But it was quiet and the staff was attentive. The breakfast was a letdown.

The room itself seemed to have been recently remodeled however attention to details, such as around the baseboards, and in the bathroom need attention. But overall, it’s a good value for the money.

Our room needed updated badly. Cracks in the walls and also the bathroom. Shower water was everywhere on the floor. The mattress had a smell of pee in it. The staff were great but not so much for the room.

Staff at service desk great… after that very poor room condition. A/C heat unit filters had 1/4 inch of dust build up and I cleaned first night, the dust remained on floor all weekend. Bathroom door has a huge patch done on inside of door but not finished. Tub has mold around soap shelf and wall tub meet up. There were bugs in the room that I killed daily. The floor was sticky in spots… enough said. The floating floor truly floated. Water in sink was a trickle at best and shower was spotty. Thankfully we managed. I know someone was in the room daily because towels were thrown in. I know this is not an expensive hotel but I would expect better maintenance and cleanliness at any hotel. Please clean your room a/c heat unit filter’s as that was ridiculous as they could literally be just washed regularly as they are a reusable filter. But a Swiffer and clean the floors, get an exterminator and make sure the repairs and water are checked. The front desk staff were very nice but that’s really the extent of good. Pictures and 8.0 rating are definitely not anything related to our experience. Hopefully this feedback does some good to make some improvements.

Room smelled good. There was an incident where a roach came out the sink drain and I had to kill it. Nearby rooms smelled of weed when walking down the hallway. Elevator was not working during checkout time but maintenance fixed it a couple minutes later. Parking lot was well lit and staff was friendly.

Walked into the lobby and the smell of marijuana was overpowering. Walking to our room, the hallways smelled of mildew. We turned on our lights in our room and cockroaches were crawling on the desk and the door of the bathroom. Mysterious black bug was on our bed. We checked out after five minutes. This place was beyond disgusting. The only good thing was the lady at the front desk was beyond sweet and understanding of our cancellation.

Just checked in after 40 minutes try to park. Location details on website claim free RV/truck parking and there is absolutely none. In fact we got our moving truck stuck twice and had to have help getting out. Ended up having to park down the street at Walmart. Finally got to the room and it smells like smoke. Hoping breakfast will be decent

The hotel from the outside looks welcoming and there are parts to the main entrance that feel inviting and clean. When you get to the room section of the hotel, that’s when you start to question your choices. The colors are grey and green making the hotel feel like a prison cell. Then you get this funky smell coming from the hallway, its dampness mixed with pot mixed with body odor. They even have dehumidifiers in the hallways. When we went into the first room given to us on the 1st floor, the room smelled like urine. Like someone used it as their personal toilet and never flushed. When I pulled back the bed covers to inspect the bed, there was hair and yellow stains on the sheets. I should have left, but we got another room. The 2nd floor was no better. This time while the room looked cleaner, didn’t smell, the floors were broken. They have laminate floors and the boards closer to door were busted. The color grey was depressing and the bathroom needed a major overhaul. Again, should have left but was only staying the night. If I ever go back to that part of Georgia, I will never ever again stay in this hotel or hotels associated by the brand.

When I used the shower, the drain didn’t work causing water to build up as it drained very slowly. The bed frame was also extremely sensitive and loud, making noise with every movement. Those were the main downsides. On the positive side, the location is great — close to Walmart, QuikTrip, and plenty of food options. The free breakfast was good, the staff remained very nice, and the room had a smart TV with Netflix already signed in. The overall atmosphere was cozy. it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it’s not a place I would choose to return to.

Unfortunately reviews aren’t always accurate and I realize perspective is on a scale apparently. Eight stars was definitely deceiving. Upon arriving it was very clear this place is used for living rather than for trips mostly. Lots of transient looking people loitering outside of the building. Upon entering a strong smell of marijuana and foul odor. Upside is staff was very friendly and professional. Actual room smelling putrid. Clearly an attempt to revive the business has been made as you can see renovations and updates had been done but the bones of the hotel looked and smelled like a homeless shelter. The only reason I stayed was exhaustion from a long drive and non refundable. I left immediately upon waking and had a headache for hours after leaving. Unless the place get gutted and used by clientele proper to what it should be used for and not a a residence, I highly do not recommend.

My stay was business, but my husband and my two dogs accompanied me for this long business trip. The hotel is small but clean and very inviting. I had to extend my stay for another month and I did not consider going anywhere else.

The hotel was ok. The room smelled like curry, Indian food. The beds were odd. Platform with steel frames. Plus we found narcotics in our room. Thank god my husband found it before my dog did (we googled it and found out it was Oxycodone 10). I would have been devastated if my dog ate it. The area outside smelled like grease. My husband and I travel a lot we stay at different hotels and I would not give this place high stars. The breakfast was terrible. They served cereal, waffles and no fruit, no pastries. The TV automatically turned on at 5AM why so we don’t oversleep and forget to checkout. Come on seriously! Plus people slamming doors all night.

Overall, good place for work trips, not a vacation spot. Staff is friendly and polite, room is clean. Breakfast is extremely basic (no protein options, lots of carbs). I'm a runner and there's a pretty good trail for 3-4 miles where you don't have to worry about getting hit by a car. I'll stay again!

Room was fine. Mattress was worn out and torn on the bottom side. Breakfast was below par and under stocked after only 1 hour of being opened up. There were only 3 muffins left and I saw an employee take one of them. We had to doing something else for breakfast.

Hello, There were times the water pressure was lost during the shower and I did not get my $50 dollar cash deposit back. How do I get my money?

I was very disappointed with my stay at Clarion Pointe. There were roaches in the room and mold in the shower. I informed front desk of the roach issue and all she said was "okay". I would never stay there again and I would never recommend Clarion Pointe to anyone. I have photos and videos of the mold and roaches and have reached out to Choice Hotels corporate office.

Maybe one of the best ones in the area, for me. Now I had a “non pet friendly” room. So that may mean something. But my room was clean and housekeeping was on point, daily. No complaints.

Just a place to stop for the night. So-so. Won’t choose this one again.

I’ll pay more next time for a better stay!

The beds were comfortable but the comforter was stained. The smell in the hallway was terrible. Old and musty smelling. Like carpet that had been wet and got hot. Breakfast was decent, but the $50 hold placed on our card was not just "held" it was put through and charged to our account.

This hotel needs some work. It’s obvious they have some kind of moisture issue as they have humidifiers in the hallway and it smells like a cheap perfume when you walk in. I actually saw the front desk clerk with a spray bottle spraying some sort of fragrance as he walked down the hall. The rooms were fairly nice but sheets had hair ( dog hair) on them, not bad but was a tad off putting although sheets looked clean. Bed was comfortable and a/c worked good considering the temps outside. The water pressure was next to barely existent so was not the best shower. Glad we only had one night as it wasn’t quite the quality I was expecting.

Hotel was ok. Pretty clean. Bed are horribly high! They’re terrible for little kids or disabled individuals. My 70 and 80 yr old parents needed help to get up and down because they couldn’t reach. Beds are very small. Hard for two adults to fit comfortably. Breakfast very limited. Cereal, waffle, yogurt. Seating area in the morning is straight up in the sun.

Went here cause reviews were good and just wanted a wick overnight sleep before heading home. The room smelled so bad we used Vicks to cover smell so we could sleep. Bathroom stunk worse.. musty . We stayed the 4th of July weekend. I was surprised that the area was very quiet. The location is close to restaurants, gas stations and the highway. I found my room to be decent for the price, however the bathroom could have been cleaned better. There were some spots on the toilet I should have never saw. The beds slept comfortably. The common areas were in desperate need of updating. The continental breakfast was ok. Not much to choose from, including no meat.

Located right off the expressway next door to a QT. Also on the same side as Cracker Barrel but pnly steps away from Walmart and other restaurants. While there was a slighg smell.that comes along with humidity, it was major enough to complain about. The room was very clean the check in process was fast. The front desk person was very nice as well.

We checked out after the first night. My wife killed two roaches in the morning and refused to stay another night. The clerk informed me that they would refund the second night and that you would reimburse us for it.

Order the upper interstate side, enjoy the area. Rooms are always clean, bathrooms are clean and pretty.

Photos definitely misleading. It is a converted motel 6. Mold in the bathroom shower, I had to ask for fresh sheets because there was stains and hair all in the sheets. The light switch in the bathroom was coming off the wall. The breakfast was waffles, toast, 2 cereals and peach yogurt. Coffee was jet fuel tasting. There is a huge pothole in the middle of the driveway that could seriously damage a vehicle. And the smell is stagnant. And the location is super odd

Easy Way To Get Anywhere U Want Go

Dirty smelly hotel with gnats and flies everywhere people walking around with no place to stay cuz they're getting kicked out of room so they just sit in the lobby and outside of the parking lot all day with luggage and baggage and then they try to keep you there for only 5 days so they can charge you extra for the weekends all out terrible hotel but if you need somewhere to sleep and you like flies and gnats all in your face and on your body and roaches coming out the tub in the shower that's the place for you to stay

Room was very humid and made sleeping difficult. Small flying insects were found in the room. Noise from surrounding rooms made relaxing difficult.

I stayed one night because I had a meeting nearby the next morning. The room was clean. Larger than normal mini-fridge. Also a larger room that I sometimes get with a hotel at this price point. This hotel was perfect for what I needed for this trip. Inexpensive, convenient to where I was going, and a clean room.

It was a great just for the night hotel

Nice hotel

The rooms were lovely but the beds were pretty high off the ground, making it difficult for my family member with mobility issues to get into bed.

The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The hallway and outside could use some work. The breakfast was ok. I would stay there again.

Horrible customer service. I asked for a late checkout. Then housekeeping beat on the door like SWAT about 15 minutes before the normal checkout time. I tell him about the late checkout. He comes back we'll before noon beating on the door again. Aggressive. Argumentative & mean.

I wish you'd could get coffee or tea 24/7 coffee or tea.

Great place to stay!

Perfect stay for our trip from Sarasota to Erie, PA. The two men at reception were super kind and friendly. The atrium is beautiful. Easy to find with a Cracker Barrel in walking distance.

First got there, the bathroom had mold in it. I asked to switch rooms because I had my kids with me. The second room smelled cleaner, but I checked the sheets and they had hair all over them and black specs of something. I asked for more sheets and those sheets had hair on them too. I then got more sheets and new mattress pads, only then did I feel comfortable enough to get in the bed. Smelled like that gas too! Jus fyi.

Stay was a last minute stay. Was able to check in early. Upon arrival to room, notice a smell in room that was not pleasant. Had to spray plenty of air freshener to get rid of smell. Overall stay was ok, except for the guy banging on the door down the hall trying to get in his room. A lil scary but it ended well.

Our room had a terrible smell and we had to be placed in another room which smelled better. But overall the property needs to be updated. Staff were very accommodating

A bit noisy area, but overall nice

When we got out of our car the first thing we noticed was an overpowering smell of garbage. Two dumpsters next to the property reeked! The property is old and poorly maintained. Potholes in the parking area and dirty.. Our room had a huge hole in the ceiling that had been poorly patched and not painted. The bathroom door was warped and didn't close properly. At one time the door had a hook on it but it came off and they painted over it without caulking the old holes. Spackle and paint on various surfaces. At one point the hallway smelled of cigar smoke!! Nonsmoking?? Maybe the worst hotel breakfast ever. No egg or meat dish, only vanilla yogert, no flavored creamers- coffee syrup flavors (3) were all empty, coffee was not drinkable, etc. etc. There were people just hanging out in the lobby, did not appear to be customers. It appears people don't care about the property and management is very lax! Would not go back or recommend this place to anyone! How it got the decent rating is beyond me.Front desk young lady was the only bright spot.

Everyone here is extremely helpful and the manager is wonderful. Great place to lay your head down and be worry free.

The truth is the truth, Nina was the best at her job, she did others job as well because the shift before her left all their work behind, she deserves a raise!!

The hotel stay was not a good one the front desk manager was Horrible, racist, and didn’t know how to talk to people I will not butter up this review for tour truth…

I stayed in this McDonough location for 2 days. I did not get any sleep either one of those days. The beds were very uncomfortable. Sheets and covers were dirty. The upside of this hotel was the free breakfast.
