SPA and related services, food options and nature in the surroundings! Might be challenging to access without a car. We used a taxi towards the hotel and a bus + train on our way back.

- Terrible experience I had as pregnant woman! We were not informed about AC switching off in the night time …As per email from booking.com we booked Deluxe double room fully Air conditioned. It was a very hot day in Vienna with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. We went to sleep around 22:00, but around 00:00 - 00:30, the AC switched off automatically, making it impossible to sleep and breath for me and my husband . We called the reception, but there was no one available on shift, which is very strange for a 24/7 service. Instead, a security personnel came and, after we asked to switch rooms, he said he couldn't switch our room but instead gave us an old portable AC. This unit was so noisy and ineffective that we couldn't sleep at all. For 400 EUR a night, I would not expect to sleep with a portable AC. This was simply unprofessional. Our entire experience trying to relax that day was ruined. The next day, when we checked out, the receptionist told us that the whole hotel system uses an "eco-friendly" AC that switches off automatically. However, not having the option to switch it on manually for each separate room was unacceptable, especially on such hot days in Austria. She also told us that the hotel director would contact us, but I did not receive any email from them. It was supposed to be on Monday, the 15th of July, and since then, we have received nothing but an apology on our check-out day.

Quiet location- great for walks and hikes in the forest. Food was good: breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner. The view from the restaurant with glass walls overlooking the garden/trees was fantastic. The spa treatment was good. My room had dust and fluff in the corners and several insects (both dead -on the floor- and alive). When I closed the curtains to go to sleep I discovered dozens of ladybugs sitting on the top of the curtains and they started flying around the room. I called reception and they offered me another room- same category. I had to pack everything in the middle of the night and move to the other room. There was no compensation for the trouble. Crowded spa area. Day staff at the reception were rather unfriendly.

Saunas were great, area was green and nature was beautiful. We enjoyed little afternoon snack bar. The room was beautiful as well and beds were comfortable. The best was sauna with window to the forest, so romantic! Our room was not clean (dust on decorative vases and surfaces, some nut shells on the floor). One of the bathrobes had a brown stain around back area... Horrifying during romantic anniversary weekend to be honest. Shower made funny noises (rusty inside may be?). Dinner was romantic, but food was average for such a fancy location. All in all, it's ok, but we paid too much for value we got and have very mixed emotions (not just romantic memories), which is a shame.

Was a great stay. Except we were stressed out by the moment we did the check-in with the old blonde lady who did not want to help us with the change in invoice details! We contacted booking and then was possible. I don’t understand why keep people like those in a nice place like that. A good business is knowing how to talk with people, and willing to help! Old blonde Reception lady was mean! And did not want to help us to change the invoice details, AFTER WE PAID 1400euro! The queen of mean support award goes to the reception lady who managed to make our 3 of 4 days stress level over 1000%. Will not recommend this hotel to my gold club friend ever! Though was very nice, she dis not want to help until we called booking! She even said to booking that we have to pay extra to change invoice details. We’ve been on 20+ hotels in our eurotrip and this was the first place we heared somthing like this.

What an incredible place to stay! The hotel and the grounds are beautiful, the pool area is amazing and the spa facilities seemed never ending at first. We were very impressed by the food, a huge spread at breakfast and delicious fruit, smoothies, cakes and other snacks from the Spa bistro. The service at dinner was very good, thank you especially to George who made our dinners relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. Only thing is perhaps the vegetarian dishes could be a bit better but we were expecting this coming to Austria. I used the gym but was slightly disappointed there wasn’t a treadmill (although there are beautiful woods nearby to run in).
