Beds were small but other than that it was good

This was my second week staying here, the rooms are clean and comfortable but the beds suck. The first week the customer service was superb. This week not so much. Check in took over an hour due to issues with other check ins ex: debit credit cards not working. That's frustrating after a long drive when all you want to do is rest.

I booked this room specifically with the mindset of using the pool. I do need physical therapy in the water, even on trips in order to be able to walk better on land. When I arrived and asked about the pool hours, I was told the pool was closed and needed to be certified before opening again. I asked why was it not stated in the listing the pool was unavailable? The man at the desk said it just happened. I do not believe the pool was just broken/needed recertification within less than the week of my booking. I didn't have time to debate with him, but he knew I was very displeased. I did not have time to search for another hotel with a working pool, since I had a meeting to go to soon. So for the 3 nights, that I had a rigorous schedule, I was in pain. The toilet was quite low in the King room, which didn't help matters. The breakfast tables had dried dirt/food on them when we went to sit down. I even tried to wipe them off myself, to no avail. If you want a good night sleep, you better love city sounds like an expressway of cars zooming by, honking, and motorcycles revving. In our hallways it smelled like someone was smoking weed several times on at least two of the three nights. I travel to the Charlotte area often, and will never stay at this place again.

Cost Bed squeaked. Bathroom was not clean. I was told we were in the new section. It looked like they used the flooring, tub, sink, doors from the old section.

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. After booking a king bed, staff tried to put me in 2 full beds. I'm 6'3" tall and weigh 300 lbs. I dont fit in a full bed. The manager was able to accommodate me. Then the room had an odor, the remote was not in the room. The phone was inoperable so I couldn't call the front desk.was not the best experience.

We were in the newer wing and it was very clean. The AC wouldn’t go below 75. I couldn’t sleep because the room was so hot. Also, we got there at 11pm and had to talk to the clerk through a tiny window and I couldn’t hear her at all.

The location being on a one-way street with not much in the walking vicinity was not ideal

Key kept deactivating, breakfast was excellent, staff were extremely nice, my daughter was bitten by what looks like bed bugs (I can supply pics). Internet didnt work in our room. Husband asked about it and they volunteered to move us but we were just too tired to deal with it.

I liked the value for money. I stayed at other places in this price point, and they didnt feel safe. This was a good size room, location was decent in terms of easy to get to places from here. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, sheets should smell freshly laundered but didn't, pillowcovers also didn't, although once again, this was still better than others at this price point.

Mold and dirt in shower. Signs designating no smoking and everything reeked of smoke. Elevators were in a different entrance and there are many people loitering around the hotel. Would not recommend and would not stay again.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Nora was very amiable and funny. She made my stay a very pleasant one. Overall, my stay was a very positive and pleasant experience. Thank you.

Does anything work here?! First room they checked us into had no A/C, toilet didn’t flush & fridge wasn’t even cold. They moved us to another room & the shower drain was clogged! The key cards deactivated 100 times and we had to be walked to our room by staff at 1am.

We stayed at this location to be close to the gym where my son had a basketball tournament. I was very impressed with this facility. In my opinion this location is one of the nicest hotels in this brand, plus it was affordable for an overnight stay. The lobby is very clean, has lots of lighting and the overall ambience is nice. We selected an interior room, however the hotel has a lot of security throughout the property. Each door is secure with an alarm so you always feel very safe. Naoka at the front desk was very friendly; she answered all of our questions and made us feel welcomed. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

My stay at this establishment was a very pleasant as always. The rooms are very clean. The parking premises are quiet, brightly lit and safe. I really enjoy staying here.

It was loud with an echo through out the hallway so you could hear literally everything. You could hear people talking by your window at 8am and doors opening and shutting woke me up at 7am. The cleaning crew were talking really loud really early and people staying there let their kids run through the hall and open and shut doors. Check out is at 11am and I couldn't sleep.

It was what we needed and comfortable at a great price The AC was not working right. The air was blowing thermostat said “64” but it was so hot in the room that night.

Outside of the building ands parking lot were clean. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Front desk lady gave 2 people keys to our room and at 4:30am in the morning on our first night they tried entering our room and my wife had locked the latch, but the kept slamming the door trying to get it open demanding that this was there room and for us to get out. So I had to physically kick the door back closed and yell hey back this is our room we’ve paid for it and been here since the previous day. I called the Front desk lady and she said she had no record of us being in the room, even though we’re made reservations a month in advance through Booking.com and checked in to 2 rooms one for ourselves and one for our older children of which our son is 21 and daughter is almost 14, for a regional volleyball tournament in Charlotte. Also there were people smoking reffer “weed” outside our room all night and it infiltrated into our bedroom and we had to wash all the clothes we had out in the room!! Never staying here again and told the front desk lady to cancel our reservation and the second night stay for two rooms, and she replied she couldn’t wet had to call Booking.com, for which they told us to tell the front desk! So we just ended up leaving, losing our money and stayed up the street at a very nice Holiday Inn Monroe, NC! Terrible experience all around!

The top blanket on the bed had several stains and a few burn spots. As well as towels with bad stains.

Did not attend breakfast. The hotel is remodeled however I did not like that my room had two doors and the couch has stains and the floor was not remodeled properly half of it had old tile. Didn't like that the resident next to the office was outside drinking each night in front of check in.

Directions about rooms. My room was on a different side of the hotel and I didn’t know where the front desk was initially.

Arrived for check in and was pleasantly surprised. Getting to the was a bit confusing, but the location was extremely clean and quiet. We did not eat breakfast, but we will definitely return.

I was glad they had a computer/printer as I needed that; using it was very easy. I noticed there was no soap in the bathroom near the breakfast area. Another member of my party said there hadn’t been soap in the other bathroom the previous night. For reasons of sanitation, I felt there should be soap in the bathroom.

I came with my Grandson Tyler Jr to 12047 Guion Ln, Matthews, NC 28105 to stay so we could see my other grandson Kobi P and on the 2nd day of our stay Tyler Jr sneakers were stolen from our room while we were out. I reported the incident to the front desk who said the manager on Duty (Hazel Vasquez)would call me back, but it’s been a month & nobody from management ever called me back, before i left North carolina i filed a police report with local police department. I reported the incident to corporate with little to no expectation at this point. However they did give me a case number. I caution anyone who stays in this Hotel, keep your valuables on your person or your vehicle. I mean how do you steal a kid’s sneakers right before school…& then run a business & never respond the complaint or person that filed it ??i booked from 7/29-7/31 ….RLH jr

Disgusting hotel , I didn’t have the time or energy to get a refund but I wish I had. The staff was very friendly, but breakfast only had sugar free syrup for the waffles and the setup with coffee right beside the waffle maker and also the hot foods made for a crowded area when there were a ton of soccer players that weekend!

The bed was very comfortable, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and well-stocked each morning. Only downside? The rat bait boxes outside were a bit disconcerting to see in plain view, but inside the hotel was clean and pest-free. Still, we felt safe and well taken care of. Would definitely return.

The bathtub wasn’t clean there was hair in it and I had to wash it out with my own cleaning supplies and the floors in the room wasn’t mopped. The bottom of my socks was were brown ish black.

First night I was put in room 158. Their was a terrible musty, mildew smell. I have bad asthma so it triggered an Asthma attack. I was too tired to go to office and complain so I called the next day from work requesting I be switched to another room. I was put in room 358. Second room was clean, no musty odor, it was great. Breakfast was good the next morning, saved me from having to stop somewhere on my way to work. I would stay there again but would ask for room to be switched immediately if I encountered room 158 again.

Communication between staff, was given voluntarily a different checkout but on Sundays checkout the front desk got upset with me after seeing the note and said we had to be out by 12:30! Please communicate between staff!

Breakfast is included but you guys could step your game up! Eggs were water eggs and we had to ask for the sausage? Only 2 options for cereal. Don’t book if you’re depending on breakfast.

The room stinks and I felt very very unsafe at this hotel. I will never ever stay here again

I liked everything

Breakfast was decent. There were premade cheese omelette, sausage, and French toast sticks (all seemed to have been microwaved) and a waffle maker. The rest was nothing to brag about. Internet was atrocious, do not plan to try to work out of your room.

I shared with a staff member that an all news channel was a poor choice to have playing on the common area tv all day and night.

I will NEVER STSY AT A QUALITY HOTEL AGAIN, it was supposed to be a complete remodel hotel and it wasn’t. The first room on the second floor was dirty and had roaches the second so-called upscale suite on the 3rd floor wasn’t any better, the bed and pillows were horrible that room had flat water bugs. The noise from the other people that was staying there was ridiculous. We tried to get in other hotels but by it being Memorial weekend it was hard so we shorten our trip. We told the receptionist they need to do a DEEP CLEANING AND Fumigate the entire hotel.
