Nothing Took my money and deposited and kick me out the room at 2am for smelling smoke when came to check room didn't see no evidence of it .

Breakfast was good. Parking Lot was easy to commute to room. Now to the guest in parking lot they were loud partying and all over the place . Arguing

At 2am the people in the next room kept trying to get into my room thru the adjoining door then proceeded to try to slide their key and try to open the front door. I was terrified! The location was great for the college tour that we were there for. The hotel overall was clean. I found yellow substance on the towels. It didnt seem like it was washed from the last guest. The breakfast was not what I expected. Very minimal choices and most of it was gone with in the first hour when I went.

outside was very clean HOWEVER the hallway and room had a smell which is crazy because the lobby actually smelled pretty good. there was hair in the tub/stains on the side of tub. the carpet could’ve been vacuumed. my wash cloth had a stain on it. only a little bit of tissue was left which they could’ve left an extra roll but didn’t… but, luckily the bed slept decent.

Great price a lot of stores around the area and the Staff was WONDERFUL nice stay would do it again.

Not a breakfast person earlier in the morning but there was a slim variety of items. No cooked breakfast. Parking was good. Staff were friendly. Room were okay for a one night stay.

Disappointing

Both times I stayed there was a slight problem with the rooms - one had a clogged sink and the other the bathroom fan did not work. I reported and they put on maintenance list - the building is older but clean and the staff was polite. Continential breakfast ran out before the time alloted. I would stay there again knowing the above

This hotel is pretty much a 2 star hotel. It's cheap which served us good for one night. I wouldn't stay here with my family though. The bathroom sink didn't work property, the hot water took a while to warm up. The breakfast was ok. Hey, free bagels, so I am not complaning. Is food. Parking was always available.

Location was good They didn’t bring towels the next day for my 2 night stay and the front desk clerk didn’t want to give me any. Said I had to wait until housekeeping come. I had 2 rooms.

The whole hotel reeked of cigarettes and weed. Rooms were dirty, toilet not cleaned, room furniture old and worn. No hot water.

The bed was comfy. The place was falling apart. Nothing worked probably. All the light switches were cracked. Nothing felt completely clean. Breakfast was a joke with no eggs or meat products just a make your waffle spot and prepackaged pastries. The staff barely spoke and definitely did not care what anyone did. When we got there the girl behind the counter stressed to us twice that there was no smoking (I think because she assumes the black girls smoked weed) but anyways, the second we step foot in the elevator it smelled like cigarette smoke. We also saw a roach in our room and when we tried to call the front desk the phone in the room did not even work. It was overall a very poor experience!

Located near the Hwy The bathroom door was broken. Would not shut all the way. Had to have my key replaced only for it not to work on all the entry points. Staff were unfriendly, short and rude. I was sitting in my car and the guy at the front desk walked over and stuck his head inside my car. I understand that the location was not the safest HOWEVER no need to go that far.

The bed was super comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The water pressure in the shower was nice, and the bathroom was clean. The only two things that I found uncomfortable were how harsh the lights were, and how hard the pillows were. I ended up buying pillow from Target, though, so that was simple enough of a fix!

Changed to another hotel. As a female traveling alone, I was put on the first floor and couldn’t move to another room. It smelled so bad and I didn’t feel safe so I left and booked another hotel. I tried to ask for a refund but was denied.

Stayed three nights while visiting friends. the room had holes it the walls that looked like bullet holes. horrible patch work on other holes and cockroaches everywhere. When I reported the cockroaches to the front desk the guy working got an attitude and said no one else has complained. Acted like I was lying about it. not professional at all and only made the mediocre stay that much worse.

Overall it was a decent stay aside from a giant cockroach scurrying across the wall. It has been two weeks and I still haven’t received my $100 deposit back.

Housekeeper lied and said she cleaned my room when she didn't! Then they move me into a clean room to shut me up! Well, I didn't have hot water for 2 days! The hotel room doors need to be renovates A.S.A.P.! They're not safe and as well as rooms are way overdue for renovations!

Stay was decent. I only needed 1night. the hotel needs to be renovated.its not bad but its not the best. It’s a place to lay your head when in need. MAYBE A MORE DETAILED CLEANING would have made it better. It wasn’t EXTREMELY dirty but it wasn’t the cleanest. It was DECENT. the shower has scratches on the tub, the door was closed but you can see how it is shifting and needs to be redone it’s a gap in the door (but the door is secure) it’s not flush to the framing. (that’s what I was looking for lol). The area to get to the building is a little confusing/difficult.

The rooms carpet had a wet smell and I burned candles to give it a nice smell and was charged a extra 100 dollars from my account and when I called them they then said that they found a cigarette butt in the trash.. Liars

The management team did the best they could with what they had. They cleaned the best way they could. The management team was very friendly. You literally get what you paid for. I only needed the place to sleep because I was out all day, and still, the hotel couldn't provide me with the one thing that I needed, sleep!

The night auditor had the fire alarm go off one night and he was calm and very professional knocking on everyone’s door and using clipboard to verify that you left your room. Even kept calm when idiots didn’t listen and came out when they wanted to. Kudos to him.

Bathroom was filthy. Did not look like it was cleaned at checkout, urine still on the base of toilet and tub was filthy.

Room is so small

It is an older hotel. So things are well used. Room could use some repairs. Bed was comfortable and the staff were great. Very friendly.

Property was conveniently located in Matthews. Everything was 5mins away. You’ll want to have breakfast outside of the property for something hot.

I have stayed here multiple times and have never had any issues.

The hotel was fine as I go to them to sleep, clean up and watch the television in the room.

Lobby didn’t smell good neither did the elevator rooms are really close thin walls the room to the left of me had guest knocking on the door which wasn’t a issue but when they knocked it sounded as if it was my door also you heard every door slam the room wasn’t as advertised and the room light had no cover fixed to it.

I needed a rental car on this one!

I did not like that when you check out, a staff member has to check your room before received the REQUIRED $100.00 deposit back. The printed sign at the front desk request the deposit in cash as a preference ( Which eludes to the benefit of the owner rather than the convenience of the guest). It certainly downgrades the experience and makes you wonder what the clientele must be to make such a requirement that other brands do not.

My stay was okay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I struggled to open the door to my room (had to swipe three times and really jam the handle). The room itself was not as clean as I would have liked (i.e. some hair in shower, dirty carpets, smelled strongly of men’s AXE spray, crumbs on the desk, etc.). Bed was clean though with no stains or bugs. My fire alarm chirped throughout the night which was not amazing (I informed staff at departure). But overall I felt safe and it was okay to sleep in for one night. The hotel itself really needs some updates (I.e new carpet, coat of paint, decor, etc). Bonus points for a waffle bar with the complimentary breakfast!

In making my reservation there was nothing evident that said that I had to be the one to check in. Not only would the clerk not allow my wife to check in, he was a jerk to her about it. Then, the next morning while I was in the lobby eating, I heard him be a jerk to two different customers. I'll never use this chain again.

Even though it was just a few days, the staff was awesome and made sure everything was up to par. I would recommend this Inn.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion is our bathroom, while clean, needed to be repainted/redone, etc. The room and beds were very clean and comfortable.

I checked in and went to sleep. Received a call in my room from front desk 10 mins later that I was in the wrong room and needed to come switch because they had that room for someone else. Asked why they couldn’t just give them the other room next door they wanted me to move into. They acted like it was a pain and put me on hold. After 10 mins I hung up. Then they called back again 5 mins later and said I had to come sign a new registration form. 10 minutes after that they called my cell phone asking for a different person and seemed confused. I checked out less than an hour after arriving and asked for a refund. Still haven’t gotten it yet.
