    I complained because there were no paper cups out for coffee or tea. I came to the lobby and spotted a worker in the area and told her there are no cups. She said she cant speak english and pointed at the desk. The desk was on the phone, so i spotted another employee asked for a drinking cup, and she told me she doesn’t know English and pointed at the desk as well. The reception was still on the phone, so I returned upstairs to my room and finished getting ready and then planned on grabbing a cuppa tea or coffee on the way out. I came down the elevator with my belongings. A staff member was no longer in the phone and was standing by the coffee cart. I told her I was upset because there were no cups and now I have to leave and I would’ve liked a cup of coffee or tea before I left she told me not to get loud in front of her customers. The last time I checked, I thought I was a customer. She told me I couldn’t stay at her hotel anymore so I was booted for complaining about no cups in the lobby, I won’t be going back obviously to spark hotels.

    Our room had dirty soiled sheets that someone left their DNA on, they left dirty towels in the bathroom. The cleaning crew need to be fired and rehired, and no one has still contacted me yet. About accommodating, because there's no reason why we should have paid a $160 for a room and get 1 star 1.5 star. Hotel service

    The rooms definitely could have been a lot cleaner. The mirrors were smeared and blotchy and dirty, and the bathroom floors look like they haven’t been swept as well as in the bedroom section.

    This room was fine, but there were no cups in the room and the ironing board holder was broken. As for breakfast, yes they have breakfast, but it very limited. I wasn’t expecting a large breakfast offering, but at the very least there should be readily available water, hot or cold. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but the reason I am is because the same trash stayed on the floor the entire stay here. My takeaway from my short 3 day stay is this is an older hotel and is probably going through a growing stage and will get better. I can’t at this recommend the hotel itself; however, I can thank the staff for their hospitality.

    Just ok, not filthy not clean. Toilet stoped up and I had to come to the front desk and fetch the plunger myself. Hallways had a smell, the room, bed and bathroom was fine. It was ok if you don’t want to spend a lot of money for lodging this is the perfect place to stay.

    We were looking for a last minute hotel on memorial Day weekend and called all the hotels in the area, and the lady over the phone named Destiny was so helpful and so friendly. Then when we got there, she was so kind and talked to us about what we were there for and made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful .

    No towels in our room when we got there. We immediately requested some and was told someone would bring some up. We left for 5 hours and when we got back still no towels. Not even a hand towel to dry our hands after washing them. At 3 in the morning we went to the desk and finally was given some towels.

    Pulled up at night to park, one of the room windows was busted. There were no lights in the parking lot. Room floor is not carpet, floor wasn’t swept all the way clean. Breakfast was not to my standard, they offered a continental breakfast. If you need a place to get a quickie nap or whatever other reason maybe stay there.

    Well I told the staff about my toilet being clogged, I was told use the bathroom in the hallway and that toilet end up being clogged too. So I was forced to go to the public restroom at Burlington Coat Factory. When I returned the cleaning staff handed me a plunger so I ended up unclogging the toilet myself. Later on I took a shower and the tub began to clog. So my brother had to wait about an hour so the water could go down. The front desk staff was great.

    The room was clean and very spacious. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful with shopping and restaurant suggestions. Only ding - free continental breakfast was very minimal: no hot foods; did offer hard boiled eggs, bagels and toast with spreads, juice, fruit, cereal and milk.

    I had 2 rooms booked and one had no microwave or fridge and the tv didn’t work. There was no maintenance available and we were told nothing could be done about it and if we wanted to leave we could get a refund. It was New Years Eve and no other rooms were available so I had to check out and find somewhere to go before midnight. I had another adult and 2 children with me. Very disastrous.

    Check in and out is quick. Bed linens were not washed, I found long black hairs all over. No iron (maybe available on request). Fridge worked well, but not clean inside. Bathroom was clean. Enough towels. Parking available.

    The slim man would just say no to any and every thing you asked. An Arabian women was staying there stopped to ask me a question since I was sitting in the lobby on my computer. I was looking for which outlet to charge my computer and he said no outlets then when the other women ask where are the outlets he said they don't have outlets.     The stay was good, with the exception of the front desk arguing and having to remove a family from right across our room. Check-in was smooth. Security deposit is $100 and they accept cash, which is a plus. They serve the same breakfast every morning, but it’s a hot breakfast. The bathroom could’ve been cleaned better.

    I would like to request a refund as I didn’t even stay. I left at 3 am as there were no washrags. 1 towel. The floors were all sticky and covered with dirt and debris. Room smelled and when I pulled back the covers there was a spider. I was only there for about an hour or so and left. I will not return to the hotel and since I didn’t stay I’d like a refund. What a horrible night!

    Rooms very dirty and recently dirty. Like used soap dirty, it was still in the shower. So I was moved to another room once settled into new room. Front desk clerk knocked on the door and said that i couldn't stay in the new room because it was currently occupied/he wasnt suppose to put anyone in this room or something to that nature and i was told the only options was to go back to dirty room and stay and wait on house keeping in the morning or leave and be refunded because they're weren't anymore rooms available all this was happening at 11pm So i decided to get a refund which now i gotta find a new room and wait for all the charges to my card to be refunded that was a 100 deposit for incidentials the room fee which was only 240 thanks to Expedia and plus 22.10 for some unknown reason.. It wasnt a very good experience at. I wouldn't recommend this comfort inn and suites to anyone

    This property is a dump. The staff is both clueless and quite possibly racist. I'd be happy to list the very long list of indicators that suggest the good rating shown for this property was a complete fabrication. The lobby had ratty furniture, the carpets were dirty, the sink in my room was clogged with facial hairs from a previous guest, many electrical outlets did not work, I could go on. Worst condition of any hotel room I've ever experienced. I am pursuing a full refund.

    Our wash clothes had pubic hairs on them so we had to go purchase wash rags and towels. Both bedding comforters had stains on them and the refrigerator was unplugged which caused the room to have a smell to it when we checked in. There were also a few nets on out room due to the trash in the hallway not being taken away as often as it should have. The room was ok besides the few issues we encountered

    Trash containers by elevator and entrance door overflow for more than one day. My husband offered to the front desk to empty the garbage for them because it wasn’t a good look to see trash everywhere you turn. I will certainly remember that hotel in Matteson and never to use it again. We stayed in other Comfort Inn, they were not like that. Comfort Inn, Matteson, Ill need to revisit their corporate policies.

    If I could rate zero stars, that’s what this would be. Please, do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this property at all costs. Staff is TERRIBLE and refuses to assist their customers. Room felt damp. Blankets were grossly stained. 2 pillows per bed and refused to give us more nor would they replace the stained blanket. Front desk argued with us about having a microwave in our room and wouldn’t let us use the one on the main floor. And the best part is that my daughter forgot her clutch in the room with her keys. She noticed this after we got back to Michigan following a 5 hour drive. Called and they refused to mail it so she took the 10 hour drive back. When she got there, they refused give her her items. She had to call the police to get her wallet and keys back. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!

    First off, the main floor is just musty. I thought it was someone's BO and wrote it off as such. The room...I almost went home after seeing it. It looks run down (the webs/dust in the corners of the ceiling haven't been cleaned in god knows how long), the hard floors were somehow greasy from the cleaning supplies (I never let my bare feet nor socks touch the floor or carpet), and there were stains on the sheets and blankets. I slept in my clothes on top of my hoodie (I did not get under ANY covers) and thankfully didn't get any bedbugs and didn't see any roaches throughout the night. The shower and toilet seemed clean and fine but that's just about the only positive about my room. If you have ANY other place to stay, stay there...not here. Some friends of mine booked across the way at the Quality Inn and despite the horrid rating and reviews, their rooms were much better than mine.

    The rooms were very much outdated. The curtains were old and had mold spots, thd carpet in our room was damp and smelled, the walls had previous water damage and there was mold on the wall near the vent exchange plus it looked like it had never been cleaned. The bed springs poped everytime you and moved and the bathtub rocked forward. The door to the room stuck and to top it all off the elevator quit working also while there. I dont see how this hotel ever got a star greater than 2. The staff was even useless. At checkout was told they coukdnt even orovide us with a receipt since we booked our roons through a 3rd party. Which is mighty strange since we questioned the front desk why we boojed 2 of the exact roons but were charged different amounts for each

    No beach area, room was leaking in the middle of the night . The elevator was broken the night we arrived. This property doesn’t give vacation vibes at all. The restaurant we tried were not that great

    Elevator wasn’t working when we arrived. The back door was open lock was tampered with preventing it from locking leaving access to the hotel for anyone without having to go past the front desk.

    I made my reservation. I believe it was on 4 May when I got to the hotel on the six of May my reservation was canceled so I had to go to another hotel and stay so why are you sending me a survey how my state was I wasn’t there, I had to stay at another hotel

    The TV was not working. The phone was not working. The water in the sink went down slow. The refrigerator froze my food. We had to come down several times to try to get those things corrected.

    Bed was too hard pillows was too small. No ice machine on the second floor when is a sign on the wall for it. No air circulation in the room or hallway. Coffee machine makes coffee that looks like mud. The staff was nice and the breakfast area was clean

    Like most budget hotels, the halls and common areas have a hint of marijuana odor even though no smoking is “strictly enforced” Super friendly staff that even let our group of teens use their little conference room for a team quiz bowl practice. Props to a super friendly staff.

    This was a girls trip... The room itself was nice, there was hair on the bathroom floor, but it wasn't anything to make me gross out. The check-in was swift, the check-out even swifter. The only thing that I am disappointed anymore about is the smell of weed...It seems to invade all rooms.

    Room was dirty needed lots of repairs as well as the whole building in need or remodeling.Bed was not comfortable and bathroom vent was horrible with dirt and dust. Toilet needed repairs and walls and floor was disgusting. There was barely any water pressure and took over 15 minutes to get any hot water. The outside area was not impressing as there were several black men standing around the entrance driveway and across the street. Was very uncomfortable with this. I made the reservation on line and was too late to cancel once we arrived. This place needs to be closed down and remodeled completely. I know the health Department would not be very happy with this motel.

    Room was adequate, with the exception of the shower curtain/tub area. The curved shower bar was hung high to make the shower area feel more roomy -- but the shower curtain didn't quite come "inside" the tub area, so all the water from the shower went into the bathroom floor. I had to angle the shower head and put down towels to clean up all the water. But my biggest disappointment was with the complimentary breakfast. Sliced bread was available, but no bagels or muffins. There was only 3 sausage links in the serving pan, and about half a cup of scrambled eggs in that serving pan. I wasn't able to eat the sausage links as my first bite, it tasted terrible. Scrambled eggs were so watery I literally threw them out. My breakfast was 2 tablespoon servings of cream cheese -- and a cup of orange juice. Waffles could have been made, but I am low carb so tried to stay away. Also available was cereal, bananas, apples but again I stayed away. Would I stay again, probably not. Was it adequate for an unexpected funeral that I had to attend in the area. YES.

    OUR CAR WAS STOLEN!! It was the first night we were there. And we were parked right in front of the door in a handicap parking spot! There was also another car stolen out of that parking lot the same night. The rooms need updating and they smelled old and musty! I would not recommend staying there! The front desk lied and was not helpful at all. Not a safe area!!

    Easy acess to highways and also local main roads. Quiet for sleeping even during the daytime. Clean room. Would recommend this location to anyone.....all nationalities accepted plus handicap accessible.

    The rug was damp and the room smelled of mildew. One felt wet all the time. Yes, it was very hot outside but even with the air conditioner on, the room never felt dry. There was no air conditioning in the exercise room so it felt like a steam bath. The best part was the shower where you expected to be wet. Not much variety for breakfast. Personnel was very friendly. Nice to have lemon water in the lobby.

    It was a sign when we pulled in and there were 4 cop cars blocking the driveway. Then there were ten people waiting to check in (we were there for a concert). The humidity in the room was so thick that the beds felt moist. I slept in my clothes because the sheets were so scratchy. It was all in all gross.

    I'll start with the good first. The staff was very nice and accommodating I especially enjoyed the bright smile and kindness of Mr. Wisdom who was sometimes at the front desk or serving breakfast. Now the bad, the room was not thoroughly cleaned when I arrived. There seems to be surface cleaning going on, as in only what you can readily see is being cleaned while other areas are being neglected. There was candy on the floor between both night tables and the bed. The night tables legs,sides of table etc. were heavily covered in dust/grime and could use a thorough cleaning. The part of the air conditioning unit that covers the unit could use a thorough cleaning as well, there were spider webs, dust and other debris very visible on the front of the unit. I didn't bother to check the filter because I can only assume from the way my allergies started acting up, it hadn't been cleaned in a while either. I stayed here 4 nights and on my final night, I saw something crawling on the wall across the room by the curtains. I went to look closer and yep it was a roach. I was mortified and had to look through all of my luggage to assure I wasn't carrying any friends back home with me. If they get on top of these issues the reviews will get better but bugs are a non negotiable for me. I will pay more to stay somewhere else when I return to the area.
