All the colors I liked them
- 3/5
I liked that the location was in my old neighborhood and very familiar. Nice being close to the expressway too. The floor in the bathroom very sticky...glad it was my shoes sticking and not my feet. Also the room carpet wasn't very clean, but everything else was nice though still I don't think it was worth almost $250/night!
- 5/5
Beautiful property, well maintained. Decent breakfast of Eggs with cheese and sausage both mornings. Beers were $10 a piece from the convenience center, but Walmart+ delivers there without an issue.
- 5/5
It was good. The batter for waffle did taste good to me (berry flavor one) the only problem is the syrup had no flavor to it. Loved the country potatoes and family members love the omelettes. See above for both questions.

Disappointing

Proximity to stores, restaurants Hotel is pet friendly. Guest allowed dogs to come and sniff you. Also wonder about how the hotel cleans a room after a pet has stayed there. Is there deep cleaning because some people are allergic to dogs

If you want an outta of the way place to stay then this is it. Clean quiet & accessible. Don't have to worry about your vehicle as you sleep.

It was close enough for the event that I was attending and it also had restaurants and stores in the area.

Property and rooms were clean. Staff very polite.I had an issue. I was given a room key to a room that was occupied and the person was in the shower. Very upsetting!

Wrong every thing

This was my first experience staying at the Hampton Inn, the staff was very friendly, the lobby very clean rooms were clean as well untill I found 3 dead bugs on the bed on top of the comforter. I took a picture shower to the ladies at the front desk one of the ladies clre cleaned the room and changed the sheets, however when I asked if I could be compensated I was told no, which I didn't think was right because of the issue I had, then it was explained to that house keeping would give a full service to the room the next day it was never done.

- 5/5
The staff was more then helpful and nice
- 4/5
Hotel itself was fine, towels could be better. It’s great that they serve complimentary breakfast but hotel guest in the lobby in sleep attire, walking barefoot or in socks, really cheapens the hotel lobby environment. Felt more like a motel 6 than a Hilton property

Soo nice

Room was spotless
- 5/5
It was good!
- 3/5
The room was nice. I thought the selections for breakfast could have been better (a better selection of meat, better eggs and larger muffins.
- 2/5
Check in we had to wait extra 30 mins because room wasn’t cleaned yet. Stayed 3 nights with no cleaning service . Had to go to front desk for clean towels.
- 4/5
Another negative was that we booked a room for a family of 5 with2 queens and a couch bed. Our room only had to queens. Lastly, the body soap dispenser in the shower was empty upon arrival (we stayed 2 days) and was never refilled. Luckily, I always bring my own, so this wasn't a major deal. The hotel does need to inform their guests that they need to renew their key cards dor every day of their stay at the front desk. We returned to our room late and had to park in the rear of the hotel, only to find out the hard way that our key cards no longer worked, so we had to walk around to the front of the hotel at a late hour. Other than that, it was a pleasant enough stay.

- 2/5
Was asked to leave because they didn’t want to fix our toilet treated us like we were ignorant very argumentative. Everyone works hard for their money and nobody likes it when their toilet is overflowing with excrement do they?
- 5/5
The breakfast options were good. Plenty of seating.
- 5/5
Nice place to exercise and safe cardio around
- 4/5
Very nice stay
- 4/5
The handicapped bathroom in the room we stayed in was a bit grungy. The bench wouldn't stay up in the shower and it has seen better days. I didn't request a handicapped accessible room.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very helpful. Even gave my dog a treat. Always checked in with us daily to see how everything was going and to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Hot breakfast, omelets, hash browns, waffles, cereal options, oatmeal and muffins, bagels. Also various beverage options
- 5/5
It was safe, clean and affordable. There were lots of dining options.
- 5/5
We were there for a concert, great location, clean rooms, we would stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful.
- 2/5
3-4 times a year. We have ALWAYS done this. As I’m checking in, my order comes and the person at the front desk said, “we don’t allow ice cream in the room.” At first, I thought she was joking. Then, she told me she was not allowed to let me go up to the room with the ice cream. Are you kidding me!? She literally took the ice cream and wouldn’t let me take it to the room. I travel for work, my daughter is in travel competitive dance, and my son does travel baseball. None of us have ever encountered this rule and I think it is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll admit this soured my opinion on the place from the get go, but none of the staff were friendly. At the pool that night, however, there were over 30 kids being crazy and rowdy (jumping in the pool with pizza, shooting water guns at everyone
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Clean, new, nice breakfast
- 4/5
We stay here everytime we're in town. Staff was nice. Room was clean and spacious. Area is quiet with eating options in walking distance.
- 3/5
Was moved to a somewhat odd room with no carpet and a linoleum floor was sort of odd but a wonderful facility nonetheless
- 5/5
The property was very well maintained. No loud noise during sleeping hours.

Both my Son and grandchildren suffer from Acute Chronic Asthma in addition to my Daughter in Law lives with Lupus. Both medical issues were aggravated with faulty AC unit in room # 312. They called to complain that Friday evening once checked in/settled. It was checked and assumed that cold air was blowing out, much to their dismay with was not working throughout the night. Room temps climbing to almost 78 degrees overnight. They did not want to wake me to follow up with the front desk-thinking that I needed to follow up. Once morning came, my son notified me of the issue. Front desk said that the Tech would be in by 9am and we would know something by 10am. In the meantime, I requested that they be moved to another room. I was told that nothing would be available until after noon. They chose to go to the pool to wait it out. After a few back and forth with the tech confirming that to AC needed to be replaced, they were moved to room # 318. Unbeknownst to me, that this delay resulted in a hospital visit, my granddaughter needing a nebulized treatment. What should have been a good weekend was far from that.
- 5/5
It was Great!
- 2/5
Oversold rooms and couldn’t get room we paid for.
- 4/5
The hotel staff was very good. The rooms were clean and wells stocked with towels and bath accessories. I was disappointed with the breakfast, oatmeal re.oved from menu, sausage patties were too dry on Friday morning, not enough bananas put out.
- 1/5
The experience was very horrifying, when they evicted an Autistic child, his siblings and parents with almost four police men, all efforts to plead with the management was proved unsuccessful. I have never seen a Hilton brand hotel like this in my entire lifetime. I recommend Hilton Honors to remove their name brand on this hotel or alternatively remove all the management and staff of that said hotel. Very horrible NOT recommended for any serious traveller.
- 1/5
They overbooked the hotel and did not have the double queen suite I booked two months prior nor the king room my sister requested so they downgraded her to a double room. They were poorly managed and the police were already on the premises kicking other guests out and management talking loudly and rudely to other guests. They also had absurd rules about no cake being allowed in the hotel. Really strange. We obviously chose to stay elsewhere.
- 1/5
The rooms we booked werent available. We had to cancel. They said Hilton overbooked them. Staff had several issues with other guests while we were there. Handled unprofessionally. We had to go to another hotel.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience. The Facility was neat and clean. There are stores and restaurants close to the Hotel. We felt very safe.
- 1/5
This hotel is an absolute catfish. The staff is attitudy, unprofessional and the hotel has severe maintenance issues that are not only not being addressed, but ignored upon bringing it to their attention. I WOULD NEVER stay here again. Also, the front desk is as barely at the front desk and they don’t answer the phone after hours if you are a guest. 10/10 highly DO NOT recommend.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Very nice stay, we will be booking another stay very soon.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and in great shape. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and everything was properly maintained.
- 5/5
My breakfast experience was not ideal. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of syrup and I could not eat a homemade waffle. They were also out of oatmeal.
- 4/5
Property is clean, safe and convenient.
- 1/5
The hotel was under construction which was not notated when booking. There was NO WATER COULD NOT EVEN WASH UP from 9am to 6pm. I HAD TO LEAVE AND WASH UP AT A FRINDS HOUSE WHICH WAS 30 Mins away. I for refund and I would go to another hotel I was told they do NOT offer refunds and oh well there is nothing they could do to accommodate me for the problem. I would have NEVER booked this property if I had known. Also the room was very stinky like mold or mildew. I will NEVER RETURN to this property. This hotel really needs to be shut down. Upon checking the guy at the front desk was on his cell phone on a personal call and did not even acknowledge me. Horrible customer service and even terrible hotel conditions. I had better service at home! WILL NEVER RETURN! Oh also there was black particles coming out of the faucet once the water came on in the evening. Pictures below
- 5/5
I had a great stay
- 4/5
The staff was cheerful!
- 5/5
Needs to get the pool fixed
- 1/5
I never received my 100 dollars back that they held I cleaned the room and didn’t damage anything this is the second time they didn’t return my money back
- 5/5
The property was convenient and was quiet.

Overnight stay while in area visiting family . Had my 4 kids with me and we were all looking forward to using the pool area ! I would never book a hotel without a pool having 4 kids . I paid more than I was comfortable paying hoping it would be worth it . Well needless to say we checked in and got into our swim attire to go downstairs to swim for a few hours and pool was closed due to maintenance . We were all immediately upset and wanted to go elsewhere to enjoy our night . I went to front desk and they apologized and stated “oh there should be a sign up here somewhere “ one minute later flipping a sign around now visible to guests checking in . How convenient. Then he proceeded to tell me there’s no management on wknds and he can’t refund me or compensate me I’ll have to call the manager Monday , extremely frustrating and annoying as I would’ve booked a different place had I known .
- 5/5
First time staying at this location no issues and very quiet and safe
- 5/5
We were delighted, as usual, to stay at the Hampton Inn. Nadia gave excellent service and enrolled us in rewards points!!
- 5/5
We've never been disappointed!
- 5/5
This is my third staying at the Hampton inn and I love it. Very clean big rooms and nice restrooms.
- 4/5
Great hotel even better service! But I have never heard of a hotel charging you a deposit for every night you stay. We stayed for 6 nights so our deposit was 100/night equaling 600.00 this is very unreasonable!
- 5/5
My stay was really good room was nice looked like the pictures I most definitely will be coming back
- 5/5
Traci is the front desk Clerk at the Hampton Inn in Matteson,Illinois. Traci is very professional but most importantly she has a very kind and receiving spirit. I am only hopeful that your corporation has more like Traci, because if not..please allow her to teach future staff. Thank you
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 1/5
The tv and wifi didn’t work during my stay
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and the staff were amazing. We will definitely choose this location again the next time we are in town.
- 4/5
Breakfast could do with some improvement
- 4/5
It was clean
- 3/5
Room/hotel very modern, clean, beautiful. Front desk staff have terrible attitude. Lady got into a heated argument with at least 2 different guests that I saw because of her attitude. Audrey
- 4/5
We encouraged other family members from out of town to stay at the Hampton Inn. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. On our last night, our room key, along with 3 others, was mysteriously deactivated. With our rooms on the 4th floor, one family member for each room went back to the lobby for a new key. Two members encountered a staffer who refused to provide a new key because their name wasn't on the reservation even though they could provide ID with the same address as the guest on file. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. While many staff were friendly and courteous during our stay, the last night was bad. Not a good impression for our out of state families.
- 4/5
The property was fine. I have a problem with Expedia .Booked for pet friendly . Only to get there and it states clearly there is a weight restriction for animals. This is not stated on Expedia website
- 5/5
Friendly clean free breakfast ok quality of customers close to lots of food places
- 4/5
Amazing stay!!

- 5/5
Room was clean and had everything I needed. Staff was courteous and my son enjoyed the open snack bar 24/7.
- 5/5
Iʻm 68 years old and this was one of the best hotel experiences Iʻve had. Our room was outstanding and the staff was friendly and anxious to be of service. I would absolutely stay there again.
- 3/5
I was a disabled guest with some accommodation issues. I wrote an email to the GM and never got a response. Poor customer service on that account
- 5/5
I needed something clean amd safe immediately for the night and they delivered.
- 4/5
Staff was nice. Room was clean and spacious. Lobby was clean and inviting. Breakfast was decent. We've stayed here multiple times over the past few years. I'm glad to see that the property is being kept up.
- 4/5
I think you should let guests know when the pool is not in service. It was closed due to maintenance for the weekend.
- 4/5
It was really really nice people. There was excellent.
- 4/5
Room was decent. Needed a hotel for a concert stay that was decent priced and this worked, would stay again.
- 3/5
I’m not sure if there was a staff shortage, but we had to request housekeeping and when they came while we were out, there was minimal effort to get our room taken care of, (bed not made, dirty towels not picked up, etc). Overall a positive stay
- 2/5
I liked how close it was to the concert venue I was attending. However the room walls are very thin and I could hear everyone. Not to mention a yelling match in the parking lot at 4 in the morning. Bed was comfy for a hotel. My biggest complaint is Travelocity said I would be paying about $211 for my room and I was charged $302. I paid thinking that there was a room deposit in there but I don’t think there was. I do feel kind of scammed I this aspect
- 5/5
I like everything
- 5/5
The staff was great! Very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean, easy to navigate, and had a nice smell.
- 4/5
Great staff! Easy access!
- 2/5
(1) not being able to check in til 3 when checkout is at 11 is insane. (2) I have never EVER seen a hotel require one to sign a 2pg document upon checking that is obviously a result of foolishness from other guests. Deal with the problem guests; don’t insult all of with their mess. Not even the hotels around Times Square do this! Calling those charges (anticipated vandalism or theft) “incidentals” is a joke to anyone who knows what “incidentals” really are. (3) The breakfast bar having no meat is loony. Bacon should be a staple. (4) the fire alarm being triggered because of (front desk said someone’s bathroom and it’s not unusual??) is wild. (5) I was on 4th floor and the room was nice! But the soft in level spots in the floor all down the hallway is an invitation to litigation. Older people or those with canes could easily trip and fall. This is plant maintenance 101.
- 5/5
It was great!
- 3/5
The girl at the front desk was neither informative nor overly friendly..she should reconsider front desk service.. we were also disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. The breakfast would also be better if they had sausage instead of Canadian bacon not the best breakfast meat. Other than that the hotel was decent.
- 1/5
I’m supposed to get a refund. Pool was closed.
- 3/5
Secondly, one of the room only had one chair to sit. I requested if they could arrange for one additional chair in the room of 3 occupants. Our request was simply denied as the hotel did not have even one spare chair to accomodate my request. Very disappointing
- 5/5
Good. a little expensive.
- 4/5
The Property was fine because I'd stayed there before. But what I didn't like is that people with the huge Pets which I'm a pet owner. But on the floor I stayed on 2nd Floor this White gentleman dog was outta control. What i don't understand why Major Hotels doesn't have one floor in designated area for pets.
- 5/5
Very clean and front desk employees were nice
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean
- 3/5
I paid for a suite to accommodate my family and at 10pm. I noticed the let out couch wasn’t working. They say they forgot to tell me smh. We had to relocate to another room.
- 4/5
At breakfast the "orange juice" came out as slightly orange water and the coffee was very weak. Room was nice but took a while to cool down once we were there. Very Comfy Beds!
- 3/5
I’d say it was nice for the most part but I didn’t appreciate the front desk at check in being short with me and not mentioning the $100 deposit that was charged till checkout
- 3/5
Bathroom tub sounded like it was about to cave in and no one in this family weighs over 160. Could see straight into the hallway where the door is supposed to seal tight when closed. Front desk didn't seem to be in the mood to deal with anyone.
- 1/5
Would not recommend
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable and pretty well maintained. The first day we arrived the elevator was broken and we had to drag our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. It was not the hotel's fault because there had been wicked storms in the area a few days prior to arrival. There were people living in the hotel for a few days, also due to no power in their homes. The pool seemed nice but we couldn't use it because there were too many people in the pool room being extremely loud. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, minus the meat choices. Both days the meat was overcooked and the Canadian Bacon was dried into jerky. Overall it was a nice place to stay. There is not much in the area for entertainment so plan on having a car to get to anything worthwhile.
- 5/5
Nice hotel

- 2/5
Ice machine was broken on my floor the whole stay. TV in fitness room didn’t work. Also elevators were out the first day.
- 4/5
Checked in on Friday. Everything was good. On Saturday morning, we put a sign on the door. Not sure if the sign indicated (Sleeping), but the intention was just for us to get dressed. When we returned on Saturday night, the room had not been cleaned at all. That was surprising! For the amount paid for the room, plus the room deposit— it was unexceptionable and not appreciated.
