The location is a little tough to find the first time. It is just off of the main road. There is a bus stop at the corner and you go down the street. I messaged Giuseppe and he opened the door with a smile. The stairs and lighting on your way to the room are nice and modern. The room wasn't big, but it served us well. It had a balcony and the shower was spacious with hot water and good pressure. We were out most everyday exploring. Giuseppe was great for recommendations and knowledge of the area. His breakfast was special. We had wonderful pastries and coffee. Also, juice and water. Perfect way to start the day from the rooftop with a view. The location is great. We walked everywhere within 15 min. We were able to park our vehicle a few minutes away for free. Everything is easier and closer than it seems. Definitely recommend.

Salvo and his dad Guiseppe were great. Guiseppe took the time to explain the area jn great detail which helped very much. Great location, great breakfast and fantastic host.

Sister's Love is fabulous. Giuseppe, the owner, is a great host. He doesn't speak much English, but somehow, we were able to communicate. The Matera sites are an easy walk; less than 10 minutes. Breakfast is light. However, the view from the terrace overlooking Matera is stunning.

A chance to improve my Italian . I got a 10 minute introduction to the must see sights of Materra from the father ..broken English and , from me, even more broken Italian. It was fun ! Materra.. its a gem and one of the highlights of Italy. A little tricky to find but initial problems very quickly resolved.

The property lay a little bit off the historic centre, perfect to explore the city. The hosts were so friendly, they take good care of you and wanted to tell you everything about te city. There was nothing I didn’t like!

Great likeable staff, a stones throw from the centre of matera. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning is quite special with a view of the old city. Free parking outside the entrance Nothing

Everything.Communication,very clean,well set out,location to old city perfect. Juice,coffee and croissant for breaky with an amazing view. Salvo as very helpful. If you are coming by bus get a taxi to accomadation,it's 3km but bit uphill. 40deg when we arrived. But not big deal
