It was nice, had a comfortable lobby and a simple restaurant on the premises. The person at the restaurant was very nice and the food was better than expected. The dog treat on arrival was appreciated. Room was comfortable, clean, quiet, the air conditioning worked well, and I liked that there was a tub. Overall a nice property. We were surprised to learn that breakfast was an add on. The person at the desk the night we arrived checked our booking and told us our breakfast was included. Yet that next morning they told us we had to pay for breakfast. If we had known, we would have gotten on the road earlier and brought something to eat for the road. On learning this, only I paid for breakfast (my husband declined and had a granola bar). It was ok, but nothing I would have paid $13.99 for (a spoonful of mass-produced egg, fruit, small bagel and not even yogurt.) I admit that left a "sour" taste. It also was not clear on the booking that breakfast was not included or even a add-on option.

The bed was very comfortable. We had total control of the air/heat for the room. Parking was convenient and the noon checkout was really nice

We can get a better value eating elsewhere There wasn't a luggage cart when we arrived. Rick had to make 3 trips to the room with our luggage. The toilets are so low to the floor. Not good for someone with knee problems

Amazing hotel - highly recommended

Would be great if Hilton would provide at least some sort of breakfast that would be included but that’s no bearing on the property or our stay. Faith, in guest services, was very kind and friendly. Overall a great stay!

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Our bathroom sink was wouldn't drain but got fixed very quickly. The indoor pool was a nice amenity however, the water was very cold for being an indoor pool.

The facility was very clean and cozy. We especially enjoyed the cocktails in the evenings and breakfast in the mornings. It was reasonably priced breakfast. The staff made our stay great, very good customer service.

Lots of hotels in this area and we've stayed at most of them. Garden Inn is one of the nicer properties- will pay a little more, and breakfast isn't included (although they have a good restaurant you can purchase at)...but if looking for a little nicer than just laying down your head stay here.

Check in was quick and easy. Wide variety of items for purchase. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay again.

My stay was great. Place was clean, my check-in process was quick. I locked myself out of.my room by accident. Faith the evening check in manager was quick to run me a key to my room so i could get in. That was great customer service in my book. I highly recommend this place.

Both were excellent. My daughter said the bartender made the best margaritas shebever had.

We had a good nights sleep each night. The shower was amazing, the layout of the suite is perfect for us & we travel with our furr baby. The only negative we have is the toilets sit so low to the floor. We are in our 60's, with knee issues, so that was a challenge.

The front desk person was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The parking lot is lit up and we felt our vehicle was safe.

Hilton Garden Inn is our absolute favorite local place to stay when we just need a change of pace, but can’t get too far away from home. They offer great, friendly service, a nice bar, and a decent restaurant that suits our needs when we need a safe place for some all inclusive adult get away time, and we don’t need to worry about driving home.

Doors are pretty loud when guests are leaving in the morning. Overall staff was really nice and accommodating.

I’m not happy about having cancel my trip for personal reasons. And not receiving at any credit from the hotel. I canceled less than 34 hours after I reserved my booking. This a place I always stay at whenever I visit my family. I will not be staying there again in the future.

The hotel rooms are clean and I feel confident that I'll have a room that I feel comfortable in. I travel here often and plan to always stay here when I'm in town overnight. The food and drinks seem overpriced, so I'm hesitant to get a meal or refreshments, but other than that I am very, very happy.

Not the cheapest but certainly the best at a reasonable price. Almost luxury. The indoor pool was nice. Parking was only a hassle on the last day we stayed because of an event going on.

It was Christmas so they didn’t have breakfast but they had a bag breakfast for all guests. The beds were amazing and we didn’t want to get out of bed! The room was the suite and was very comfortable!

Room needed a going over by maintenance guy. Chair was wobbly. Lamp shade just sat on a bolt no screw to hold it on. Bedside lamp was missing a rod which made it loose. These are quick easy fixes to be assigned to maintenance crew if they have a manager who cares about the establishment. Otherwise a nice hotel

We were given a handicap room, not needed. There was blood on one of the toilet rolls. Those two things weren’t the worst part. The bed was terrible. Not supporting us and sagging. We are not big people either, both weigh about 180 lbs. The pillows were very good but the bed is the most important and was the worst we ever found in a hotel.

Not happy with the coffee station downstairs. First morning of our stay the coffee was ice cold. The next morning there was no coffee at all. Both days we had to go across the road to the Royal Farms. Also, our comforter looked like it was stained with blood! For the amount of times I have stayed here, it’s very disappointing.

No one at the desk when we went to check in nor check out. Site listed a free breakfast which is very common at many hotels these days however this one was far from free. Buffet was $12.50. Or you could order entrees for like $10. Even yogurt was like $9. All that was free was if you went to the self serve coffee pots. Very disappointed.

Everything about the hotel is great, especially the employees at the reception desk! One small suggestion is to provide the folding luggage stand in all rooms. It was available upon special request but feel that it should be present regardless.

I love the snack shop downstairs. Also they have a bar in the hotel. The breakfast was great! My husband got the buffet breakfast and it was $13.50 I believe. They also have a menu where you can separately order and pay for breakfast. My husband said the food was great! Our waitress was nice and well informed. I paid in advance for the “snack” room and also for breakfast on Expedia. And it was worth it! We had KitKats, skinny pop, lays chips, a slim Jim/cheese pack, a protein bar, a small bag of peanuts, 2 vitamin waters, 2 sodas (that you can exchange at the lobby if you don’t like the type- I went and got Coke instead of the sprite and diet,) also there was the standard 2 water bottles for the Keurig sitting out at room temp., and 2 waters in the fridge. The lobby is clean and beautiful. It also one of the nicest parts of Martinsburg (coming from someone who grew up in the area.) you could walk to Logan’s Roadhouse and the shops in The Commons. Also this hotel is very new. It’s maybe 8 years old, so everything is very modern and sleek. The blonde girl who worked the front desk was wonderful. She deserves a RAISE. My husband commented on how polite and knowledgeable she was- he thought about offering her a job. Pay her right, or you may lose her! lol. The beds and pillows were SO comfy. I’m a side sleeper and my shoulder didn’t hurt when I woke up. The soap they use is really great in the showers. They do have blow dryers & a very nice closet. Overall, wonderful stay!

Upscale Garden Inn with spacious lobby, rooms and lots of amenities. Although there was no free breakfast, the hotel had a restaurant and our room had a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. With the desk, chair and added recliner and TV tray in our room, we had ample space to enjoy fresh coffee with our muffins brought from home.

They're morning service was horrible. no coffee and when I asked they didn't bring it out for almost an hour. I requested multiple times. They're more interested BS'ing with their co-workers and not helping guests.

Property ok but for the money just wasn't impressed especially when you have to pay for breakfast after spending $150 for a room the bed comfortable the decorations pretty outdated but not a big deal staff friendly when i had a reservation paid for 2 days they only had me for 1 and said it wasnt paid so a $150 room went to $238 and I decided to stay at another hotel for my 2nd night

Room was on the nice side, grounds ok, breakfast was the issue. Now this might be our own fault when booking this reservation, but breakfast is not included. The breakfast area looks like any other hotels continental breakfast, basic scrambled eggs bacon etc. So we just went and helped ourselves, then a women came and asked what we wanted to drink, I thought it was odd that the coffee and juice was not out but thought well maybe Hilton does it different. Next clue I couldn’t find silverware, then the nice lady brought us some with a napkin, thought how nice. Had our bagel, one piece of sausage, oj, wife had about the same. Then the nice lady dropped a folder with a check for breakfast for $27 bucks!! Again maybe my fault when I booked online and didn’t see breakfast was not included, but at least they could have had a sign up please be seated and a waitress will be with you to take your order. Really it looked like any other continental breakfast at any other hotel, food was just the same, we could have just had toast and it would have been 27 bucks, flat rate for the “buffet”. Sooooo won’t be booking there again!!

Rooms a little old, but the rest of the place was fine

This was a great spot for an overnight while vising family in WV. The only thing I would add is a table in the pool area.

Our initial room(s) were musty - smelled of cleaning fluid. These rooms were near the pool. The front desk graciously changed my room several times until I found one that did not have an aroma. Apparently, animals are allowed in all the rooms which is a concern to me as I'm allergic to some cats. I'm happy there are pet-friendly rooms - but I think some should be designated as pet free.
