Everything was very clean. Ideal for a stopover place on your way somewhere else.

This place is horrible. Do not stay here. The accused is of sterling one of their nasty pillows and charged us $50. I will be calling the authorities.

The room was very clean, however, it is not senior friendly - no grab bars in the bathroom (no towel bars either). We had a first floor room, however, there are three steps (first is very steep) to go down which was an issue for my husband who has mobility issues. They allow pets, but no bags or trash container for clean up. Also appeared to be in odor in the hall.

Needs some updates and renovation, but clean and affordable.

Easy parking. Seemed secure except rear entrance to building was never locked. Staff was friendly and nice.

Good value for the money

The bell at the front desk you could hear throughout the building and even up on the second floor. There is no elevator.

Better than I expected Staff was nice, room was clean, water was hot. Breakfast was lacking ( paper bag breakfast) for the price I would stay there again

Everything was quick, easy and efficient

Property was drab. Bathroom door would not close. Wall showed outline of former picture frame. heavy, course drapes. Toilet seat loose. TV remote was sticky.

No extra trash bags for the bathroom/bedroom

The hotel is poorly lit,dungeonlike. The staff is ok. The breakfast is not what I expected. I won't recommend this hotel.

Need to be cleaner and less drug addicts staying there .my dog barked said something about that but they allow a child to run up and down the hallway screaming nothing like being woke up at 7 a.m to a kid screaming up and down the hall

This easy on easy off when traveling, it’s pet friendly offers free wifi, beds are very comfortable each room has a chair and ottoman to put your feet up they also have a desk and free wifi as well as TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and hair dryer the air conditioning and heat both work well and the staff is very helpful and very friendly

The pictures online showed a nicer property than what it actually was when we arrived. The hotel was packed was some sketchy looking individuals and most of them stayed in their rooms the entire time making obscene amounts of noise. Apparently this used to be a Super 8? This may be where the county puts up the homeless, idk. I would consider somewhere else next time.

I needed an inexpensive hotel, for my 85 year old mom, 17lb housecat, and myself due to my girlfriends mothers death. When i walkeed through th door the lady at the desk was as nice as she could be and helpful. Then when we walked in the room, mom was the first in she said "WOW THIS BATHROOM IS IMMACULATE!" cat, and myself were noticing the rest of the room and it was spotlless! Everyone was so nice and very welcoming!

I usually get itchy eyes and a runny nose due to my allergies when I stay in a hotel. No problem here! The room was very clean and comfortable. The refrigerator was larger than most with a working freezer to store my ice packs. I travel with food to accommodate my dietary needs.

This hotel is disgusting. The room was not clean at all and smelled like cigarette smoke. The hallway smells strongly of animal waste, particularly cat pee. I am traveling for work and work nights; I book hotels to sleep during the day and so my dog will have somewhere to stay at night. I couldn't even bring myself to sleep there. We slept in the car during the day and I felt bad leaving my dog at night. The only positive aspect is the friendliness of the staff. I feel bad for leaving a bad review, but I am truly appalled by the level of uncleanliness. I do not recommend staying here

Easy check in, this is my 2nd time staying here the staff is so friendly, the place is clean and the bed comfortable, I nice extra is that the room has a very comfortable chair and ottoman so you can put your feet up and relax, I have saved this Hotel in my favorites and next time I make a trip down south I will make this my layover

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. the air conditioning units or the heat were very loud and noisy.Would kick on, run for ten minutes stop?And then thirty seconds later start again.No matter what you turn them down to, they continually worked at their own speed at times the room was extremely hot, and we had to turn it off within the half an hour.It got cold and we had to get up and turn it back on again.Which made for poor sleeping at night?I did notify the front desk

Room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Heater worked well. Staff was inviting and helpful.

Just stayed one night while headed to Pittsburgh it’s a no thrills hotel but no complaints front desk was friendly and easy access to HWY

Everything was great. This was our second visit there in the last couple months and we enjoyed it both times excellent service and quite atmosphere.

A very basic motel. Clean but not fancy. Suitable for my needs of an economic room while travelling south. Bed was very comfortable. A grab and go bag for breakfast.

Rooms are outdated and dirty. Major cockroach problems. Carpet is stained and dirty. Beds are uncomfortable, small, and stiff with old style springs. Breakfast is a bag of carb snacks. Nothing of protein or substance.

After I found the hotel I was treated very well. I had my service dog with me and they were very pleasant to receive him. Only thing I can offer is, tissue or paper towels in room, spoons for stirring coffee, and shampoo/conditioner. I was glad I had some from another hotel I'd stayed in. Otherwise, it was nice and I'd stay there again.

There were insects in the rooms.

The manager was VERY friendly and helpful when I saw he had no elevator. So he gave me the only room in the entire hotel on the ground floor, which was a handicap room. So nice of him. The room was clean, but definitely needs some updating and work.

It was an old motel that they have done a good job of cleaning it up. The staff couldn't have been nicer.the bed was very comfortable. It was just a very small bathroom and hard to find a place to put anything.

Ok for the price, room was small and cramped with 2 queens and no chairs to sit in. We brought in our camp chairs to sit in and only 1 fit. It is a Super 8 so keep that in mind when booking. Smell of smoking came and went so someone was smoking inside the building. The small fridge was larger with a large freezer which was nice since we stayed for 23 days.

Easy to find and in good location no breakfast but Waffle House 2 mins down the road!

First off it’s not a hillside anything it’s a super 8 but for the price it was a nice clean room and comfortable bed

This was one of my worst ever stays. None of the few amenities listed actually exist. They lied about having a free breakfast. And they charged the same amount for a pet fee as the fee for sneaking a pet in, and put us in a “pet friendly” room which reeked of dog, which my partner is allergic to. Just all in all a bad stay

Hotel was old, not really clean. Wall AC didn't seem to cool well through the night. Gave me a breakfast "bag, muffin, jello, granola bar. (of which I don't eat any of.) If ever in Martinsburg, WV again, I would definitely find somewhere to stay.

This place is actually a Super 8, which are horrible. We booked as the Hillside Inn and Suites and when we got there it was Super 8. They said they were in the process of changing the name but the sign was still up and everything about it is Super 8. I would never of booked there if I knew. After 11 hrs on the road I had to sleep somewhere. I booked it as non refundable.
