Pretty standard basic room - nothing hugely positive or negative. My room's toilet was cracked in several places and the water for it ran all night. I worked out in the gym in the morning; it's not very very large, and only has dumbbells with a few treadmill-type machines. It's also weirdly visible from the dining area so people can watch you workout if you're in a certain spot. Breakfast was fine, but pretty basic.

Hotel staff was welcoming and professional. I was checked in efficiently by Chrysta. She gave me a lot of good information about both the hotel and the area.. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were in a handicapped room, and the bars in the bathroom made for a safe and easy experience. Breakfast was great in every way. There are a few updates needed in the hotel, but otherwise, it was excellent!

Friendly front desk

I made a last minute reservation to stay at this hotel after I had been driving for 10 hours. When I got to the hotel, there had been a mixup and there was no room available but the front desk associate was awesome. Her name is Krista and her peer, who came in while the mixup was going on and helped to assist her, is named Haven. I manage a customer service team and I would hire either of them in a heartbeat. They found a room for me, did some last-minute cleanup and took care of everything. They are awesome. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was beautiful. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Breakfast was good but oj was out

The breakfast was just ok..they were out of a lot of things and did not refill it…which I thought was odd…trying to get extra towels was completely crazy…we stayed two nights and we were told that they will not clean your room or bathroom..so that means no new towels which is gross…the shower had old soap left from previous days..the main lobby appeared clean but not one person greeted you when you walked in…I had no idea when check out time was I was only told our room would not be cleaned Because they do that every other day!

It's a lovely hotel. I felt safe, the staff is friendly, the facilities are clean and the area is great. Lots of food and shopping close by.

Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit salad, oatmeal, yogurt, lots of mix ins for the yogurt and oatmeal (nuts, dried fruit, granny latex), cereal and pastries. It was a lovely variety. The hotel is near Route 81, so there’s bound to be noise from traffic. The noise wasn’t terrible and it didn’t keep me awake. But if you are kept up by traffic in the background bring earplugs.

Had to get a room change due to the vibration I felt in the bed and floor. Unfortunately the 2nd room had the same sensation. It may have been caused by the heating unit. At any rate, I barely slept a wink.

Requested a king room and received two queens and being told all kings were taken. Then don’t offer it at booking.

Room was clean, spacious and updated. The staff who checked us in was great, professional, pleasant and helpful. In fact she called our room because the light in our vehicle was left on, so grateful for that. Breakfast area was spotless and well stocked and again the staff was professional and pleasant.

However the front desk check in was the quickest and friendliest I have ever experienced. Everything was quite clean and I found the bed to be very comfortable.Free WiFi was nice for unexpected work that I have to complete.

Was surprised to not find hand soap or hand sanitizer to wash my hands in the bathroom. Was not going to keep reaching into the shower to get body wash just to wash my hands. Had to go to the desk to get soap which they gladly handed me but why not have some in the bathroom I don't know why

This was a nice hotel to stay at. I found it to be clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I needed something like extra towels or toilet paper. I think the breakfast area could use a little improvement, but other than that I would stay here again. We were happy with it. Also, the parking lot had plenty of spaces and it was well lit up for nighttime.

I stayed here for business. It's a great place to stay for an extended period. There are numerous nearby shopping and dining options, as well as a clean, safe, and quiet hotel environment. Will definitely stay there again for my future trips.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the pool was clean and the pool hours were conducive for my kids and our needs. Definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

Great location just off I-81 on the busy shopping street; renovated facility, but modest and limited breakfast - overall excellent place to stay when in the Martinsburg, WV area.

The pillows are way too small and too soft. The bathroom needed a little more cleaning. There was hair all over the floor and the bottom shower door seal was missing so water was getting on the floor and the freeway noise was awful.

When i first walked through the door they were very attentive and pleasant.

Very hospitable and possibly the cleanest hotel I’ve been in. I judge the stairways for how clean they are and these were very well kept. Nice breakfast spread and extremely welcoming to the kids. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The property Rep(white female)stated I could cancel my reservation when they get the email or call from Expedia. The rep was rude with a listening problem and a bad attitude. She flat out lied to me on the phone. When Expedia called, she declined the cancellation request. I literally called to cancel 2 hours after booking. Why lie? Why be rude? You know who you are! You're a liar. Hope you're happy with yourself!

I loved the people who work at this property. The front desk attendants were so gracious and welcoming, particularly Courtnay. The room was clean and quiet and had every amenity we needed. The TV cable was disabled due to a maintenance issue; however, this was not a big problem for us and it appeared to be fixed in the morning. The lobby was very attractive, and the breakfast bar was great. I particularly loved the oatmeal 'buffet' and the waffles. We chose to stay here rather than at a nearby hotel where we have stayed many times. We will always choose the Fairfield if we have a choice.

The check in girl had to be called out from the back after standing there. The hot water was hardly hot in the shower. We paid for a king room and we’re told there isn’t any which is what we wanted. The morning breakfast ran out of eggs and potatoes and bagels and breads-I asked for them to be filled and the girl was annoyed she had to go back, came out and wasn’t going to come to me h til I called her over and told me there isn’t any more. I said it’s ridiculous it’s supposed to be included and there’s no breakfast. She didn’t apologize she snootily said there’s food to eat there. I don’t want old oatmeal and a cold hard boiled egg. I told her I have gastro issues and explained I can’t eat them. She basically said too bad. So we left and went and bought breakfast. In the time we came down, and 20 minutes there-the front desk staff was more interested in going outside to smoke cigarettes. Which they reeked of and was gross. $190 . First and last time staying at a Fairfield inn for sure. I know they aren’t representing the hotel or Expedia well.

Super clean and super friendly and helpful staff. The four stars are for the room amenities, only 3 sets of towels in the bathroom for a reservation of 5. The sofabed is unacceptable, the matress is 1 inches thick. But the kind staff happily brought in a foldable twin bed.

The first room we tried had an odor, possibly cigarettes. The front desk clerk readily changed our room. There were no USB ports, however, and very limited TV channels. Otherwise, a nice stay and a definite step up from Quality Inn.

The stay was great. The room was very comfortable and clean. The parking lot was a little bit crazy when dealing with Holiday Inn right next door. Would like to see more variety of breakfast food. All in all it was a great stay. Also a sitting area for individuals who like to smoke after the pool is closed.

The Front desk Manager was very professional and friendly. She made the accommodations for our family when we met on Friday night. Today when we left she was very friendly and we told her we had an awesome stay. The women serving breakfast both mornings was very polite and accommodating alon with the house keeping staff. Well appointed and maintained property with a pleasant and efficient desk person in nice area right off highway with a couple minor housekeeping issues: very slow sink and apple core in trash can.

Decent hotel, pretty clean. Bed wasnt that comfortable and pillows were terrible. Staff wasn't overly friendly. I didn't eat the breakfast because I believe it was only until 9 or 9:30 am even on a weekend.

Went to restaurant next door at Holiday Inn-highly recommend. Handicap accessibility is questionable. Room fartest from front desk. Side accessibility ramps would be better suited for skate boarders. Breakfast ended at 9 a.m. Lobby under maintenance.

The TV did not work - it came on and then immediately shut down. I went down to the front desk to make sure that the remote was functioning, also thinking I was doing something incorrectly. The woman at the desk indicated what should appear on the screen when the TV turns on and said I’d try again. She said she would come up to our room and check it out if it again didn’t stay on. Unfortunately, I got the same result. Since it was an active checkin time for guests, we decided to read rather than watch TV and asked the woman at the front desk to check out the TV tomorrow, before a new guest used the room. The woman again kindly offered to come up to the room, but we said it wasn’t necessary. She said that she would leave a note to have maintenance check it in the morning. Not a big inconvenience for us. Glad the the woman was so willing to try to solve the problem!

Just a very average hotel, bathrooms not clean and run down, had to fight for my booked room (tried to give me a smaller room), carpet …

My only issue was the bathroom. There were random hairs in the shower and on the floor. The tub floor was slippery. Other than that, I would book about with Fairfield.

It’s an old building that needs a lot of help on the inside. I couldn’t even get the door open to the room. The pool is dirty and many more things.

Room was exceptionally clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Food offerings were scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, waffles & the usual bagels, bread & pastries. Coffee was very good both in the breakfast area & in room. Only complaint was check-in. I don't know how long I waited for someone to come to the desk but it definitely was a bit of a wait. Person who came out seemed to be in a hurry to get the check-in done. Wasn't rude, obviously wanted to get it done & overwith as quickly as possible. Check out was just the opposite.

Large ceilings, great shower. U fortunately we had children above us starting at 5am, jumping, running, no sleep for us. Suggest families assigned rooms in same areas.

I was out all day, went back to my room at 3:30 pm. It had not been cleaned up... Some walls need a fresh coat of paint.

This is a Marriott property?Maybe a review of the words "courtesy" and "service" is needed?Traffic noise all night long. Doors loudly closing. Reception area personnel acted like speaking was not part of their job description. Etcetera. Due to all this, got very little sleep although sleep is supposedly the main one function of a hotel. Expedia and Marriott can do better.
