The floor was extremely uneven. That is a fall hazard.

I rarely rate lodging and generally accept that you get what you pay for BUT: A bathroom door that's too small for the door opening: a significant enough hump in the floor to be a trip hazard; batteries taped into the TV controller case, with no cover; bed frames that are oversized and sound and look as if they are made from steel drums. Sorry but this lodging is not worth even the smallest amount of money. I cancelled the return reservations for a few days later.

I like the price , it was clean, coffee maker, comfortable sheets, descent towels too! We usually just looking for a place to get a few hours of rest and a good morning shower to get back on the road so not looking to spend to much!

The room had a sink hole right bye the door. The deadbolt wouldn’t lock.

The bed was very comfortable ✔️ In & out staff were pleasant Check in did not offer up Internet use- if & how to Noise level in the room was awful from the street & coming & going patrons No lids for coffee and I had to carry it across the parking lot.

What breakfast? Didn’t like anything about it Clean the room. Hole in the wall. Very dark area. Loud group of young people outside after 11:00pm and early morning outside swearing. Flies in the room, dead roach, burn holes in the sheets.

Stay was ok. Beds were very squeaky so every move was heard and sleep was highly disrupted. Bathroom was out of shampoo conditioner and body wash and corners of the room were dirty as well as the floors didn’t seem to have been mopped. My feet ended up dirty fresh out of the shower.

Definitely matches its name of Americas Best Value. For the price, room and property were clean & I felt safe. I had stayed before when it was Knights Inn & it was obvious some improvements have been made.

Floor was fithy and was not cleaned even after requested. Mirror light in bathroom was dimly lit. Requested it be repaired. They put a reading lamp in bathroom and did not fix the light. Room service sloppily covered the bed. It was not remade.

People outside, yelling and clearly using. Room was disgusting and you could smell the cigarette smoke before opening the room. We left right away. Very disappointed that Expedia would allow this motel to advertise when they’re using misleading photos and there’s no way others left positive reviews.

Bathroom was horrible

The staff told us that the air conditioner was barely leaking on the floor and for us to not turn it down too low under 60. We never took the air conditioner below 69 and every day five or six times a day i had to clean the water up off the floor from the puddles that was in front of it. This morning I woke up and our entire room was flooded with two inches of water destroying several of my boxes and my personal items. I explained to the front desk what happened and they told us to either pay $80 or get out for the next day instead of trying to accommodate me or fix the situation at all. During cleaning up the water I pull the refrigerator and the electrical surge protector is laying in a puddle of water on the floor connected to another surge protector as well as several cords plugged in. Management sent an older lady to put blocks under the front of it. She took off the facing and the entire unit is nothing but black mold. The staff was horrible the management is horrible I have roaches in my belongings now because there was ROACHES EVERYWHERE. It's a horrible place to stay I would never recommend this to my dog. The better Business Bureau is definitely getting a complaint from me as well as three or four other guests about this place. They are called slumlords. STOP STEALING PEOPLES MONEY.

There were roaches crawling on the walls, dead roaches and dirt all over the bed, disgusting place. One of the worst I’ve ever stayed at and that is saying a lot. I have photos of all of it.

Dislocation is my halfway point whenever I leave North Carolina and head toward southern New York. The people at the front desk do a nice job checking me in and getting me a comfortable room. Can't say enough about them keep up the good work

Had an issue with the booking and didnt realize The app had booked me for The week before I actually needed the trip to be. Did not realize the issue and trying to talk to Hotels.com and also the management of the property, they refuse to accommodate or refund the mistake, therefore i wound up going through my bank to refund it. I know this place was not busy to begin with from the last time I was there, so there’s no reason why they couldn’t change the booking being that the hotel wouldn’t have lost any profit, Although the last time I stayed there, it was not an Impressive booking in general. The room was not exactly the cleanest and they were in the middle of “”remodeling”. This is a no-go for me. I go ti wv often, but refuse to book this place again.

It was just OK.

I took a long drive to my destination. I completed what I needed to complete. I met with a friend before I started my drive back. This is always a good stopping point after a long day. The person at the desk is friendly even though it is late at night. The room is clean. The TV works well with many channels. I get a good night's rest and can complete my drive back. The first room had bugs we were moved no questions asked the staff was friendly enough but unfortunately a motel needs more than just friendly staff. The beds were not sized right so the bed base stuck out way too far getting out of bed and hitting your leg on the metal frame not fun. The bathroom door didn't stay shut and you couldn't lock it. The fridge didn't keep things cold and it smelled rotten it hadn't been cleaned. At night you could smell pot so one of the other guests were definitely smoking weed and these rooms are non smoking rooms so having a headache and stomach ache from the smell every night I'd say no thanks

When I pulled back the covers, they were dead bugs and debris in the bed. When I complain to the office, I was told that I was giving the choice of not renting or renting the room. My girlfriend refused to sleep in the bed and stayed up all night smoking cigarettes in her car. The place is not clean at all. I am staying at the Hilton now and paid $140. I paid $98 to stay at the Knight's Inn. I felt like I was taken advantage of.

Desk person was super nice and helpful for our late night check in. Minimal charge for having a pet and room is decent for the price. No kitchenette and could’ve been a little cleaner, but for $67, it was good.

I have stayed in other places in the area and I have found this to be the cleanest and most comfortable. Its pet friendly witch is a big plus. I would recommend it to others.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Loved the fact they are all outside access. Did not like nor care for the loudness of the lady living at the hotel or her company. They were very loud and obnoxious.

If they are going to use this propety as a drug hotel the least they could do is put the expedia or other online reserving guests in a specific part of the hotel and the crackheads in a seperate part of the hotel esp given the seperate building designs. This is prob the worst hotel ive ever stayed at and ive stayed at plenty of low end budget hotels. Would def have left if the room was refundable. No wonder all the room choices were non refundable. Expedia should end their contract with this location before someone is hurt or worse. Will never stay here again.

The property is pretty run down. It appeared to me that some people actually live there. I traveled alone so it was ok for me, but there is no way my wife would stay there.

Place felt like we were walking into a prison, and the area was very downtrodden. We felt very unsafe staying here, for a multitude of reasons.

The Wifi hardly reached the room and would not allow us to stream.

Everything reaked of cigarette smoke in the non-smoking rooms. There was blasting music outside of our room until 10:30 at night fueling what seemed like a low-budget prostitution ring - all complimented by paper thin walls so we could hear every bit of what was going on. A significant amount of black mold spots in the bathroom. The TV constantly broke up, and the bed sounded like rubbing metal any time you moved on it. There was hair around, a dirty towel, and the sink backed up when we used it the first time.

Served it’s purpose as a place to sleep. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke. Pdo d walk area had empty poop bag stand, and tissue holder in room had no tissues.

Can’t picture staying here for a long time but for a day or two it was fine. Would benefit from having more plugs in the room, you have 2 outlets at the vanity and 1 on the desk and that is it. Room was clean, no complaints. Fridge, freezer and microwave functioned as they should. I’d stay there again if I’m in the area for a day or 2.

Nice room and comfortable bed. They could provide ultra filtered milk or creamers for their coffee. The powdered creamer makes it undrinkable.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. In particular, the young man with the beard and another front desk employee, Heather, were very helpful and accommodating with amenities and questions at any hour of the day. The hotel is well run and has outstanding staff. Many thanks for a great visit. I’ll be sure to return.

Kudos though to the woman at the desk who works the late afternoon/evening shift. She always greets with a smile and makes guests feel welcome and at home.

I liked the stay. The only thing that bothered me in the multi-day stay was that my request not to have the maid come in was not honored. I can understand how it would happen as the maid probably cleans all the rooms daily. I just didn't want anyone in the room when I was not there. However, when I left someone did enter against my expressed wishes to the front desk receptionist.

I really enjoyed the stay at the Knight’s Inn in Martinsburg, WV. The staff was accommodating and friendly plus the room was renovated and comfortable.

The worst hotel that I have ever seen. The tv remote was taped together. Electric plug hanging out of the wall. The refrigerator was full of water that emptied out all over the floor. The safety door catch was broken. All the appliances were unplugged. Just terrible.

Absolutely horrendous. They were supposedly non smoking rooms that wasn’t the case they reeked of smoke and other bad smells. Opening the sofa sleeper was a plethora of dog hair. Went to front desk informed them they didn’t care refused to give a refund or rather said the manager is out of town and call in a few days to see what he can do blah blah bla. Absolutely horrendous place.

Wonderful Stay

It turned out to be a great stay for the one night I needed the room.

I loved the fact they had an area designated for walking our dog. The rooms were older but clean. There was a lingering smell of cigarettes in our room that we didn't care for. They did however offer us a discount on our next stay due to that, should we decide to stay again.

It appears there are many people living there on a regular basis. lots of cigarette smokers, and butts all over the property. used to stay there alot when traveling for business. will try something else next time

Not clean, not Covid ready. Smelled like cigarettes. The only thing that was good wS the check in lady that was professional and nice.

The rooms are usually ok and decent but when me and my girlfriend checked out she noticed later that day she had bug bites on her. Come to find out they were bedbugs! Now I constantly feel like somethings crawling on me. From now on as soon as I check in I’m checking the mattress for bedbugs!

The property is supposed to be non-smoking. The room was supposed to be non-smoking. The room smelled so badly I had to pull the covers over my head to fall asleep and it awakened me several times throughout the night.

Dirty. Shower head pulled from wall when adjusting and left big hole. Bathroom floor left black on feet after bath.

I have stayed here throughout my travels. Once again, once again, the front desk associate was pleasant and got me to my room in a quick fashion fashion. Keep up the good work.

Way better than Travelodge or Days Inn (although that's not a very high bar to clear).

Why? Piles of used cigarettes outside front door. Floors were sticky like they needed to be washed. Won't be back!
