I had a room on the top floor (really the roof, so my door opened onto the deck). I suppose this could have been inconvenient during breakfast or during the evening if there were others chatting, but it was wonderful to be able to walk out my door and see the rooftops of the Medina. I also loved the cacophony of prayer that rang out over the Medina in the morning, though if you're not looking for this, a rooftop room might not be a good fit. It had an en suite bathroom, a double bed and a twin. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the main square filled with music and food vendors and is within the Medina. The breakfast was simple but included fresh juice and good coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful in booking my airport transfer. It's smaller than the Riads but that's why it's less expensive. Nothing really. I don't think there was an elevator, so the stairs might be an issue for some travelers. It's down a side alley and around the corner which might make it harder to find at night, though it is off one of the main routes through the Medina. Not sure all rooms have bathrooms, so be sure to confirm.

    Can get a bit noisy

The shower didn't have much water pressure on the top floor.

Location Together with other guests, we waited half an hour for someone to appear at reception. Upon finally receiving the key, we were shocked. The room bore no resemblance to the booking description. Instead of the promised 14 sq m, it was the size of a bathroom, tiled and no more than 8 sq m. A double bed (not a King Size as promised) and a single stool barely fit inside; even a wastebasket would not have fit. There was a single power outlet on the wall, occupied by a fan (not an air conditioner). The choice was stark: keep the fan running or charge your phone. In the morning, while rushing for a flight, the promised 8:00 breakfast was not open even by 8:10. In summary, everything was very poor, even accounting for the general service level in the country. The administration should revise the description of its services and prices, as any other gite at half the cost offers conditions far more comfortable than this so-called hotel

The bathroom was designed nearly impossible to take a shower then cover up to get out. Not the best for atmosphere.

The location is in the middle of medina, only few step away from the Jemaa el Fnaa. Rooftop breakfast area is nice (with the good weather), the staff is friendly. This riad has very beautiful decorations. First dissappointment was arriving to the airport in the middle of the night and there was no driver waiting nor coming. We had booked from the hotel a driver for us for pickup. There was no information why the driver didn't come. When finally managed to contact the hotel via booking messages (the didn't pick up the phone), got the info that airport has taxis. Ofcourse they have, but they ask much greater price and we tried to avoid this! Our room was as big as the bed was. No room for opened suitcase. The window faced the street and all that was going on outside, was heard in the room - all the noices of scooters, talking etc. Didn't sleep for several days :) Only 1 plug in the room and it was on top of the sink. Extreme phone charging operations. Then booked Sahara 3-days trip via hotel. All was good until we arrived to Merzouga - there was no reservation for us. Had to wait several hours until they reached the hotel (again, no phone answering) and found out about mixed up names.

DO NOT BOOK THE TOUR WITH THE HOTEL. Below is the full story but in short, the quality of the tour is bad and unprofessional. You're likely to match with other cars and get separated with other group. The staff sold us the tour didn't give us what has been promised and we have bad experience during the trip to Merzouga. Better to book with Get Your Guide agency with good reviews. We were looking forward to this trip a lot, and it started out very good, we had very fun with our group on the first day, but then they tell us we cannot stay with our group and has to go to a different hotel. Our hotel was much smaller and we missed out on a very fun night with the others. They told us the dinner is at 8:30 but when we arrived everyone has already finished the first course, so we didn't get soup, then for the main course there was no vegan option, they asked us to pick out vegetables from the chicken tagine. We were not happy but understood that the hotel maybe didn't have enough room The next day was also very fun until we arrived at the camels and they told us that we cannot go with them again and we have to go wait in a different place. Then we waited for 30 minutes and thought we would finally ride the camels but then it turns out we are somehow at the wrong place again and this time we waited for 60 minutes until we were finally picked up and driven to the camp. We could at least enjoy a short camel ride, but it's not at all what we expected and were promised. We arrived so late that there was no time for any activities like sand boarding etc. The camp was nice but basically empty so we missed a fun night with our group again. And once again there were no vegetarian dinner option even though we had confirmed that several weeks ago with you. The next morning we were at least excited to go with the camels again, but then they told us there is no time for that and we have to go with car back to the bus.

Excellent location, nice riad, clean and accommodating hosts. All that you need at a reasonable price. Tasty breakfast gets you going in the morning. Nothing.

The hotel is well situated - close to the market - but quiet in the evenings. The decoration is beautiful and the ambiance is relaxed, clean and homey. The staff are welcoming and kind. The breakfast is divine and the setting on the rooftop is unbeatable. Lastly the young man, Amen, who helped us with our baggage and taxi bookings was so gracious and sweet. Everything was perfect. No complaints.
