The location!

This riad is gorgeous and well located near many food options, a pharmacy, and several street vendors. The staff was very approachable and great to chat with. The breakfast buffet was very generous and the house cat was adorable. The bathroom door in our room didn't latch shut from the inside. We did not complain about it so it's possible the hotel wasn't aware of this issue. This riad strikes me as the type of place that would address any issues right away so I wouldn't count this as a major negative.

- Beautiful riad, in good maintenance - We love the sound of birds singing there - The manager, Saad, is very kind, polite and helpful with our program and information. 1. The electricity control panel in the room seems not very convenient for controlling, normally it should be at the headboard. 2. Water system seems to not be stable — super hot and cold running confusedly. 3. Breakfast is not much choice and very boring. 4. Most of the staffs seem not very pleasant or not very friendly (as it should be for the service work) the woman names Sissy (I guess you have only one girl in charge at the front office) seems uncomfortable with the guests- aka. our group and most of the guy staffs feel unpleasant with their jobs— no smiling, no interaction, except Saad. FYI ; I recommend the hotel staffs to go studying service works in Thailand — one of the best in the world ?

A wonderful place to stay. Calm oasis. What makes this place is the female manager/caretaker who treats every guest like family. Nothing was too much trouble. Happy and interested in your day as she wanted you to have the best time. We loved sitting in the courtyard at the end of the day with a coffee or brandy (very generous measure-thanks!). Gorgeous rooftop terrace to relax in. Comfy beds(firm mattress). Aircon if needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Riad Armelle. Noise from local cats!!!

Sisi was amazing she went above and beyond, the men’s not so helpful and charged us 30€ over the booking price. Said it was because of the exchange rate. Being charged more than the agreed price of Booking.com.

A wonderful experience.

Loved Riad Armelle! Nicely located towards the edge of the Medina, giving great access to Gueliz as well. Traditional and beautifully restored, with very unique rooms. Wonderful green rooftop - an oasis of calm in the midst of the business. Attentive hosts.

The staff were super helpful and looked after our every need . The Riad was very traditional with many original features. The atmosphere was very calming . Very central. I met the owner who was really lovely. The staff when I asked said that he was a great boss to work for ... that means allot to me actually.

Very romantic place, beautiful inside garden with plenty of flowers. Easy to reach because correctly placed on google maps. The interior of the rooms will bring you into fairy tale of "1001 nights". The personal is very friendly and will do their best to make your stay comfortable. The riad is in the old town; thus, stepping out of it, you will dive into Medina directly. Please be aware, that it is an authentic Riad and the walls are quite thin. Also the hot water supply is a litlle bit slower than in the chain hotels, we might be used to. Keeping it in mind, you will get a great experience!

Nothing

Beautiful, quite, plush. French, meets Arabic meets African decor.

Armelle was everything you could want. A welcoming oasis in a busy but not too touristy part of the medina. It's close to Bab Doukkala which makes getting a taxi or to the bus station very easy. They served a consistently good Moroccan breakfast (the omelette especially was outstanding). The staff are funny (esp Cici!), helpful, and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The riad itself is a stunningly beautiful property, and the rooms no less so. Spend your time on the rooftop for sunrise or sunset. 10/10 would stay again and again.

The hotel is beautiful and is in a brilliant location - in the heart of Medina, walking distance to the markets and main square. The staff were very friendly and the activities and excursions they recommended we were very happy with - good experiences, fair prices. Overall we are very happy with our time at Riad Armelle and we stayed 7 days! Would happily recommend to others.

The magical atmosphere

The property location was 10 min drive from the square. Upon arrival, I coordinated several excursions in which a price was given for the tours. The staff insisted we pay at the end, and at check out, the price had increased without an explanation.

Beautiful Riad, superb location, the staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly, nothing was any trouble. We had dinner at the Riad and it was superb, the ambience and decoration so peaceful and relaxing. They also arranged a great excursion to The Ourika Valley and arranged airport transfers with their "in house" driver... There was nothing we didn't like.
