I really enjoyed the convenient location, especially being so close to the airport. The staff and valet team were friendly, welcoming, and made the stay even more enjoyable. Since I only stayed for one night, I didn’t have the opportunity to fully experience all of the hotel’s facilities, so my opinion is based solely on that brief stay. While the location and staff were excellent, I felt the room was somewhat overpriced for what was offered. Some of the furniture appeared dated, and the cleanliness could have been improved, particularly in less visible areas such as behind tables and other hidden spots. Based on my experience, the property did not quite meet my expectations for a five-star hotel, though other guests who stay longer may have a different perspective.

A nice hotel but not to the standard of the other Ritz Properties like San Francisco or Laguna. The rooms were nice but no mini bar and no snacks in the room. Also the club lounge was understaffed. The staff on hand was incredible but were unable to keep up with simple things like ensuring the club level food was available during the entirety of the food and beverage offerings. Also, the breadth of offerings was significantly limited. The phone system was also a bit of a hassle as any button pushed on the console redirected to a painful AI agent.

Truly world-class hospitality. Every aspect of our stay was handled with care and professionalism. The hotel offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. From the impeccable service to the attention to detail throughout the property, it was clear that guest experience is a top priority. We left impressed and would gladly return on our next visit to Los Angeles.

The staff is really nice. The wait time for check in is way too long. The bathtub in the room needs to be updated as it looks a little dingy and should be updated, it shouldn’t look worse than my tub at home. Room service the first night was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast with room service the next morning was just ok. I didn’t see all the menu items that are on the menu at the downtown location here at this site. Asked for country style potatoes got tater tots from the kids menu looked like. They said they would take it off my bill when I checked out they hadn’t so the front desk deducted from my bill for me. I loved that I got a card candy and balloons for Mother’s Day. That was extremely nice and the kind of service I look forward to. This little act made me so happy made me feel like I mattered. I will stay here again in the future but maybe in a different room or a different location. If love that checkout is at 12pm so you don’t have to rush in the morning. The bathtub. Not a lot of channels on the tv. My name wasn’t on the welcome screen on the tv in my room when we turned on the tv. No country style potato’s at breakfast was given tater tots.

LOVE THE CLUB LEVEL! Totally worth it. It’s so special. Great location right on the water and maybe a 25 minute walk to Venice. Staff wonderful and everything perfect Ritz Carlton. Pool amazing too!

A lovely hotel with a calming view of the marina, this was the perfect night stay close to LAX. The room was clean, comfortable, the staff was helpful and kind. We had dinner at the hotel, which was great. We walked to Venice a few times for meals and shopping.

There’s some restaurants on the same street you can walk to but we chose to Uber to get to something that fit our vibe. The Ritz is definitely for the mature crowd. However, the room was immaculate, clean, and every staff member was extremely polite/pleasant/professional. The view from the marina-front rooms was incredible. The step to get out to the balcony was a bit high though so use caution. We really didn’t have any issues that needed the staffs attention. But I don’t think this hotel was the right fit for my husband and I.

We’d called the night before check out and got a very nice gentlemen who helped us, the next day the front desk person claimed they didn’t know what we were talking about and it was made out like we were lying. During check out the receptionist had many things confused about our stay, we had lunch dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the bill was very confused. Overall this was not a 5 star ritz Carlton experience I’d expected

Horrible, I was charged $600 for items that were not mine. The hotel is so gross and dirty. The rooms are not updated it felt like we were staying at a 3 star hotel, which is fine but don’t charge me $900 a night. Charge $300 a night so you know what you are getting. Disappointed and will NOT be back

I would like to give special recognition to Rosy, the wonderful lady who worked on our floor. She truly made my day with her warm, positive attitude and exceptional service. She is one of the best hospitality professionals we’ve ever met, and she added such a personal touch to our stay. Even though we live in the area, we will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this hotel — and if you meet Rosy during your visit, you’re lucky!

This is my favorite hotel when traveling to LA. I love walking the marina in the morning, the spa is amazing, food is good and everyone is very welcoming. Whether I am traveling for business or visiting family, I always come back to the Ritz.

The hotel was very nice with harbor views. The hotel staff was amazingly friendly. Service was great. Some of the things I felt a little annoyed with included calling room service to pick up the dining cart after we were finished eating in room service and three times they never picked it up but waited 3 to 4 hours for someone to finally come. The bed was hard pressed and not comfortable. The room was definitely outdated could use a pick me up.

My room needed to be updated. Bed was lumpy and the air conditioner mad a thunderous noise each time it cut off. The tub paint was peeling and the floor had dark stains around the toilet on the floor.

The property was nice but outdated. Our favorite part of the property was the staff. The staff went above and beyond to help you and be nice. Everyone is wonderful. The restaurant is delicious. However, the area is sketchy in parts and the hotel looks outdated, unfortunately. The spot was very basic. It’s fine for an expensive five star resort, I definitely expected more.

This hotel felt like it was stuck in time ... circa 2020 during the pandemic. They did not honor the reservation I made for a King bed and claimed Expedia sent through a request for a double bed. Check in clerk was rude, the bathroom wallpaper had boogers stuck to the wall beside the toilet and the vanity appeared to be falling apart.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. When leaving LAX early or getting in late, this is the best hotel convenient to LAX. The area is quiet and safe, with numerous restaurant options within a convenient distance. The staff is fantastic. This is an older property, so there are old school bathroom tub/shower combos, which I do not care for all that much. But, it is fine. The rooms are nice and clean.

This property appears nice on pics but it’s run down. I finally experienced the meaning of “paying for a name”. I’ve stayed in plenty of other rooms that were way better for way less. I wanted something nice as a treat and I feel so bad I went against my better judgment and paid a ridiculous price for my room! Never again!

As someone who stays at a lot of these properties, I was really disappointed by how small the rooms are at the Club level. Our balcony also wasn't open, as it had concrete all around it so you don't have the cast iron, as what's shown in the pictures.

The hotel is not bad, but it is not a 5 star hotel, nor is it as nice as most other Ritz-Carlton hotels. For the last 2 stays at this hotel, booked months apart, our room was not made available to us until around 5 PM or slightly after. Check-in is advertised as 4 PM. The restaurant is just OK with a very limited menu. The staff was friendly and proficient.

Marina Del Rey Ritz Carlton is a perfectly situated property near the airport but with a gorgeous view of the marina and quick access to Santa Monica and area sites. Service and staff was stellar and rooms are fantastically appointed.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a couples spa massage and a nice dinner at Cast & Plow overlooking the Marina. The sunset was beautiful and we had a room with a sunrise view. The staff was amazing and we received a complimentary dish of chocolate covered strawberries on arrival. The restaurant knew about our special evening and we were served complimentary desserts.

The breakfasts here were off the scale and really enjoyed it. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff really great. We took advantage of walking all the way to Santa Monica which we totally recommend but then we took an u er back to the hotel. The marina area I could just sit wand watch the world go by all day here, it’s very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again without doubt.
