The sidewalks outside had an stale odor. It was so stink in the elevator that it was had to breathe while inside. The door to my room wasn't stable, could see light shining in around its frame. The floor inside of the room displayed blue tape around the tiles. The air conditioner constantly shut off regardless of the settings. Wasn't allowed to sit inside of the lobby after my stay, while I waited for my taxi.

The staff attendant was nice Very disgusting room. It smelled awful, the air didn’t work and the remote didn’t work. It smelled of mold and mildew.

Great place rested well

Lights in room were pink’s. Had two rooms and the door didn’t lock on one. People openly drinking and smoking marijuana in the corridors.

Our room was a special place of broken items. The flooring looks like it was haphazardly installed by an amateur with gaps all over the place where you could see the under laminate. Even the toilet paper holder was missing a half so the toilet paper was just sitting on top of the toilet. Like so many other budget hotel rooms. This one had its own special sauce of a smell that is reminiscent of the decades where smoking was allowed in the room and then the chemical companies came up with something to cover it up. You all know what I’m talking about. The air conditioner would cycle on and off all night and it didn’t matter what temperature you had it set on it would wake you up every 15 minutes when it’s cycled. I do have to say that there were plenty of security cameras on the property, but it didn’t help alleviate the feeling that I should be checking on my car all night long. I can confirm that there are a lot of long-term tenants that seem to be living out of this hotel but they seemed harmless. Bottom line you get what you pay for. Don’t expect a lot. It’s a bed there may or may not be bugs and it’s not gonna smell great but you can sleep there and it’s cheap. The staff was friendly no complaints there.

If I could give this property 0 reviews I would. There was no mention that this hotel was under construction until we had gotten there and then there was no breakfast as they mentioned due to they were under construction. Our room was horrible. There was no table, only a chair no knobs on the closet door. The lights barely worked. Then on top of that we saw a bedbug on the bed that was alive. We immediately had to go to another hotel because I was horrified.

There was roaches in our room. Pool was closed, people were selling drugs. We stayed one night left the very next morning. Also the second security lock was broken off, ceiling had cracks and fallen drywall in bathroom. We seen multiple roaches, headboard very dirty, bed skirts filthy with stains.

This is one of those one night stay and never look back. No value whatsoever. The only thing you get is a bed and hope a roach don’t fall on you while you are a sleep.

Extremely sketchy. Dirty. Tv didn’t work. Scary activity at night. Loud sounds clear through the night. People with rooms look like they were “out of it”. Would not recommend. My teen daughter cried because all the sounds were scary. I’m not one for paranormal but the toilet lid slamming over and over was questionable.

I booked it for two nights because it was cheap... there is a reason it was cheap! The bottom of the stairs were rotting, someone had broken into the fire extinguisher and left the case open, the door would not even properly open! On top of that, the elevator probably needs to be out of service, and it smelt like someone had peed in there. When we got to the room, the only light that worked was the bathroom light. There were roaches, and it looked like they only changed the bedding and didn't clean the room. When I had gone back to the lady to tell her we were going some where else, she told me I would have to through a third party to get a refund because I had pre-paid.

When I first got there they showed me the first room It had no fire alarms bent lamp shades also people were posted outside and I could hear them through the door even at quiet time they were smoking and the room had bed bugs and carpet had stains it was missing one of the locks on the door where broke and same thing at the new room they gave me and they declined a refund it was a waste of money

Roaches everywhere

We walked in room and walked out and I told my husband we are not staying here. Condition is bad. Window was shattered broken on some rooms. Smelled like Marijuana. The pictures online are not at all current.

It's was dirty with roaches moving around. The room smelled so bad.

Upon checking in there was clothes hanging out on the railing to dry, people propped up on corner of building, trash near steps to go to room, and no lights working in stairwell. When we entered the room we noticed the floor coming apart, the headboard was nasty from not being cleaned, a light had no shade, the shades on lights near the bed was worn out and nasty yellow from nicotine (smoke-free room...not), the fire alarm was missing just exposed wires showing, broken microwave, ceiling falling down in shower area, bed bugs on mattress, and drug residue left in our room from someone smoking a joint. I went and explained this to the front desk he wanted to argue with me and say he called us and asked if our stay was going to be fine no he didn't no phone in room and didn't want to give us a refund til I showed him I took pics and would be notifying BBB, health department, and law enforcement.

The hotel doesn't havee a pool for u to swim in, its bugs in the rooms and the prices are to high for what they say they serve

The hotel looked like it was robbed. Brown haze on walls where an item was previously placed but has since been removed, the room door had no lock, lights didn’t work, the room smelled, I didn’t feel safe with my children. We left and went to a different hotel within minutes of arriving. At check in the line was super long, everyone complaining of horrible room conditions. The pictures I saw on the Expedia app made it look like it would be an okay place to stay, upon arrival, I thought I drove to the wrong hotel, but I didn’t, it’s just completely run down.

It was dirty not family friendly and there was feces on the wall along with roaches. Paid for 2 nights and left after checking in, they charged me 1 night, and have not refunded my money yet.

Upon pulling up there was nothing aesthetically pleasing about this facility to our family. It looked more like a run down apartment community. There was a strong marijuana smell in the lobby, some of the room windows were literally boarded up and the property looked one step away from being condemned. My kids cried at the thought of spending 5 minutes there. There were also people walking around the parking lot peering into vehicles. We did walk into the room to look, but quickly realized this was not a safe and secure location to stay so we turned our keys back in to the front desk and found another hotel.

I guess you sometimes do "get what you pay for!" We reserved two rooms at this hotel because is was affordable and it's location was less than 10 minutes to the convention we were attending for the weekend... well, it was dirty, shady, and simply unpleasant. We killed cockroaches IN OUR BEDS, on our counters, and in the bathroom, every single day we were there, and not just one or two, SEVERAL. The free breakfast was only cold cereal, and there were cockroaches running all over the tables too... simply disgusting. I'm surprised the Department of Health hasn't shut this place down already. Too bad, the location is great, but boy, that was horrible.

One of our rooms had a broken window partially filled with a piece of wood. One had no working lights. Both were missing smoke detectors, but did have the exposed wiring. We had a bathroom with a door that would not close. The elevator smelled of urine once you found it in the unlit courtyard.

Although the staff and surrounding other people respected our privacy, the stay would have been manageable. But when the lights went off in the room and had to switch, management got upset because the room wasn't cleaned prefectly. And the trash was swept in a pile in front of the fridge and my bad we did not wipe down the microwave. Which I might add was normal wear and tear for a family in 1 room. I mean their was no damages made to the property. The maid complained that it was to much do because she to only gets $6 per room, she cleans seems to be the root of the problem. And that she pay $2100 rent to live there. Therefore, upon checking out I made sure to sweep and wipe down the appliances while filming the results to show the manager. In conclusion they respect your privacy up until they are in need to do their job then attitudes raised and they invite you to leave the property.

The loitering all around the property into the early morning 2am. Yelling, people arguing, have to step over people on the steps. Staff does nothing when ask them to address the noise. I felt very unsafe. Don't ask for extra towels. Wifi is very limited. If your staying for a few hours you'll be fine. No pool. Dog poop everywhere. Dogs not on leashes. Do not recommend

Didn’t see one night. Opened the door, walked in and walked right back out. Demanded a refund immediately. Should NOT be in business at all. This is as bad as I’ve seen. The alderman or alder woman should be terminated for allowing this.

I was not aware of the area surrounding hotel. It was sketchy. People obviously on drugs were lingering around. The pool was closed, which was the main reason I picked this hotel. There were no basic things in the room itself, like hangers, air dryer, iron, or even knobs for the closet. Very disappointing. Linen, although "clean," were stained.

This hotel should really be a motel and someone should shut this hotel motel down. It was the worst day I’ve ever had at a hotel they have drug users, drug dealers people shooting up needles people homeless people living in the hallways where the ice and vending machine is they don’t give you extra towels And they have a fake breakfast in their beds are double not clean so everything that you see on this hotel/motel I will take a look before booking my room there. I will never make that mistake again.

Upon check in. The front desk was dirty, the receptionist was hard to understand, and not very helpful. Once we went to our first room the window was boarded up with broken glass on room floor. I went back to desk and said I wasn't sleeping in a room with broken window. The man took us to another room, that room had no lighting. Finally the 3rd room we settled on. Beds where clean and comfortable, and shower was hot. Do not expect breakfast as there is not. You get what you pay for yes but in all our family travels have I never felt soooo unsafe

Dirty, roaches, and an awful smell.

I was going to check out in the morning and the lobby door was locked and no one is present in the lobby. I tried to call so expected them to open the door. There hasn't been any breakfast served during my entire stay. There's no water provided as well. The stairs are broken, appliances in the room are broken, furniture is full of awkward marks on it. All in, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

Terrible place

The lady at the front dest was extremely rude and kicked us out because made a complaint. She wouldn't even allow us yo stay in the room until our Uber came. She threatened to call the police if we didn't leave immediately. Iwould never stay there ever nor suggest that anyone else stays there!

The room was dirty. There was hair all over the place sheets were never changed bathtub had hair in it. There were people out selling drugs. People were living in the hotel paperwork outside the building panhandling it was awful staff wanted to charge $30 to check in at 11 AM staff would not refund for the hotel room But said if I check out, I would still be charged.

They have crackheads or homeless people wondering around the complex at all hours of the night knocking on doors asking for money. Called front desk they did nothing about it. Woke up to loud music playing at 7 am in the morning til 7 in the evening from people who aren’t staying there. The rooms had roaches, the tv did not work, the rooms were poorly lit. Only one lamp worked, the tub was dirty and a non smoker room smells like straight smoke. It was a terrible experience and I would like a refund for both nights. I had to end my stay because I felt unsafe.

Roaches in my room. No phone in the room to call for service. I had to walk to the office to ask for more towels, and they only had one to offer. Half of the lighting worked in the room. No tv services at all. Not even local antenna channels. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30am, nothing was out until 9am....breakfast choice: Only offered bread slices with butter or jelly, and stale cereal. The ONLY thing good about my stay, was the hot water.

A place to stay for “One Night Only” in my Beyoncé voice. Not a place for kids or food thanks to the roaches. Shower has been remodel but everything else is old and outdated.

Experienced filthiest bedding , no hot water the entire stay, poor attitudes from guest services and overall felt stuck in my situation because I paid 10 days in advance and was told it’s not refundable if I decide to leave. 2/10 recommendation. I need some type of compensation or compromise

The hotel is run down. My first room had no hot water and the shower handle just spins around and around. There was a hole around the handle, due to poorly done installation, saw roaches and other bugs, phone wasn't even plugged in, stunk like weed and cigarettes, the list goes on. I had to ask for a better room, as this was disgusting. The second room was slightly better.

The room setup was nice. The bed mattress was sinking in the middle. So I would roll to the middle all night. There were roaches in every room as if I was intruding upon them. I was killing them all night. I couldn't sleep. It says online that it's a Baymont, but in fact it's a Budget Inn. I wish I had taken out the insurance and was able to get my money back. The breakfast is non existent. Cereal, milk, and toast. Wow. No desk agent when I checked out. Supposedly she was coming at 9am. The staff were the only ones in the breakfast area getting coffee. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Did I mention the outside window to my room was busted out. Unbelievable.

I will say that my room was clean. But ROACHES were in the room. When I opened my food, ROACHES started coming from everywhere; behind the bed, table, refrigerator. I could not eat my food. I was even scared to go to sleep thinking one was going to get on me or in my belongings. This is not the place for me. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING THERE.

Thos hotel was terrible! Expedia should be ashamed of its self for even having this property on its hotel lists! Yes or was very cheap but after walking into it you quickly realize its not even close to be worth that. Ive never left any hotel I've reserved room with but this one was so horrible and just the unsaafe feeling you had being in there was just way to much for me to be ok with...and i carry a gun. The entry door looked as if it had plbeen kicked in 2 or 3 times, everything was dirty, everything was damaged, but the beddings looked pretty good. The bathroom door was being held together by drywall screws and wouldnt completely close or lock. "Hot" water was luke warm at best. I had to get out of there asap. Went to the front desk and told the lady im not staying here and she said i had to pay fpr the first night but could refund my second night in 4-5 days which i was completely ok with. Would have loved that forst night refunded as well but i know how it works. I don't do reviews unless its serious and this place definitely deserves the worst ratings possible. Do yourself and you family...if they're traveling with you...spend the extra $20-$30 dollars and find a better place. If you'd stay in a cardboard box behind a grocery store...it would be cleaner and safer then this place. I know none of the people reading this knows me personally but please just trist me on this one.
