The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

Absolutely beautiful resort! The setting is the most beautiful setting ever!! Lovely spa! Wonderful facials and massages. The dinner and bresksfast buffet were delicious. . It may be pricey but it is well worth it!!

The hotel was amazing, clean, and the entire staff was super friendly and very nice. We would definitely go back. We ate at all three locations and highly recommend. We also recommend the spa. You get access to another pool on your spa days. We went in May before Memorial Day and most of our photos and most of the time we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We also did two hikes (2.2 and 3.2). Both were amazing and we really enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely top notch. The staff was very attentive, property was beautiful, well maintained, clean. Pool service was excellent; Maddex took very good care of us! Food and drinks were delicious. No complaints here!

Amazing experience! From my arrival to departure, every staff member was immediately attending to everything. From just pulling up in the car and someone quickly parking it for me. Giving me champagne at check in, showing me to my room, carrying my bags, spreading my towel for me at the pool, putting the umbrella up so I would have shade. Amazing. The room was awesome, great huge tub and a balcony. The pillows on the bed were feather pillows and not to my liking but that's just a personal preference. Most people probably enjoy those.

Pool was nice and relaxing. Not enough servers, drink and food orders took a long time. Pool in the evening is a huge mess, nobody cleans up cups and towels until the next morning. We really enjoyed eating at Ignite. Sushi rolls were incredible. Drinks were strong and delicious. Hotel rooms are a little tired and need to be updated. Disappointed with how scratchy the bed sheets were. I thought this was the Ritz?? Beds were hard, we slept horribly. We enjoyed our stay but this did not feel like the Ritz. Poorly trained employees, awful room service, seemed equal to a cheap all inclusive resort. Will stay at the Four Seasons next time.

We wanted a quiet couple of days to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary with a beautiful location and good food and wine. Dove mountain is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We hope to make this an annual event.

We loved almost everything: starting from a very nice room and pet friendly policy, the service (patience, politeness, always ready to inform and help), the facility: the building, the resort with many paths for walks also with dogs. The both pools are very nice. Good bikes available for rides around the area. Perhaps coffee. They would work on a better, full strong taste. It was a little cold in the hallway (AC settings), an espresso with a more dense body.

Returned to the property after a short trip and when I left my vehicle the valet staff ignored me, walked past, would not take my vehicle keys initially even after I chased one down. An hour later I received a phone call from the front desk saying I needed to move my abandoned vehicle. After an unsuccessful telephone call to sort out the problem, I had to leave my family at the pool area and return to the front desk to identity the valet staff I gave my keys to. This was an unnecessary diversion from my family and a disappointing experience for the amount this property charges to valet vehicles.

The serenity of this resort will keep me coming back! Tucked away in a canyon, it is a perfect location for a little getaway or vacation. The food is delicious as are the unique drink selection.

First class all the way in service and atmosphere. Golf courses are pretty tough but lots of roadrunners, javelina , hawks and coyotes to look at too. Not cheap but well worth it for a 2- or 3-day golf or get away trip.

We are seasoned travelers. For the prices charged, the facility was adequate, but not top-notch. The food was average at best. Spa Services Good, but not worth the money. I think there should be a little more ambience with Soft music, the use of calming, aromatherapy and soft lighting.

Gorgeous setting and grounds. Fabulous spa. Exceptional employees. Cayton’s for casual dining was excellent with a wonderful guitarist on Christmas Eve. Christmas endless buffet was massive but the food was so so. Ignite off the lobby was so so, too. Disappointing. Spa was fantastic!! Beds were terrible-hard as a rock. Thin lumpy pillows. Scratchy sheets and towels. I expect more from the Ritz. We’ve stayed in many Ritz properties around the world and always had luxurious beds and bedding. Major turn off.

The Ritz-Carlton on Dove Mountain is one if my favorite hotels. It's located close to the Saguaro National Park so if you're a luxury loving hiker this is the place to stay! The hotel is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. Service is outstanding and you feel very special there 🙂

The staff is beyond in every way. We were there at off peak season and it was just what we wanted. (No crowds). Food was amazing. Pools were perfect for lounging. Views from every direction. Saw lots of wild animals.

Be aware, there is a stupid $69 per day resort activity package fee added to your stay at the end. This is a ripoff to its customers. The resort is mediocre at best for a Ritz Carlton . The views are what make it. I would say not worth the money with the resort activity package fee they add.

The food was okay but nothing to write home about. The biggest disappointment was the bed. It was hard as a rock and the pillows were deflated. Uncomfortable enough we ended up checking out around 3 to 4 am to just go home. Was really disappointed considering price and the expectations. Will not be going back.

The Hotel pool area on Father's Day was overbooked and could not find seating in the adult pool area (there was a staff party scheduled and the lower pool was off limits to paying costumers). Also, the following day many young kids in the adult pool area so relaxing and enjoying the time at the adult pool was impossible. Very disappointing that the resort did not address this simple issue as the kids pool area was underused.

Also, there's a feeling of isolation and possibly boredom if you are staying for extended vacation. Hotel is so isolated in the hills. This is a positive if staying for only a couple days. 2) Balconies are open and provide NO privacy. This was big... a feeling of exposure. It felt like apartment-living from a balcony standpoint. And with Tucson weather and desert beauty, you probably WANT to spend plenty of time on your balcony. 3) The resort is positioned facing East. This is not a huge negative but it means that you will find very little shade for half-2/3 of the day. Unless you want to spend most of your day indoors or competing for a pool umbrella, you will find it difficult to find shade in warmer weather. Beautiful views with great service. Dining area had beautiful fireplace and had breakfast outdoors with heater accommodation. Pool area was beautiful, due to weather a bit chilly to fully enjoy.

Truely remarkable service, accomodations, food and beverage. Amazing staff. Was there for my birthday and my Brother-in-law's birthday. Every employee was incredibly kind and sincere making our birthday extra special.

Do not select this hotel for a honeymoon, period. They cater to large groups and that creates a very loud and obnoxious poolside experience. Moreover, the balcony is about 1 ft away from the balcony next door so there is no privacy. Other than that, the service is outstanding, the beds are comfortable and the hitel is clean

Was like a dream come true! Hotel issued us a huge room upgrade upon check in. Absolutely beautiful property!

Beautiful hotel and ideal setting. Relaxing and nice facilities. The hotel staff were also very nice and helpful. My only suggestion would be to consider a self-park option in addition to valet. We often had to wait a while to get our car and then had to pay both the parking rate and provide tips. This is my only constructive suggestion. Otherwise we had a very nice stay and enjoyed ourselves.

The onsite dining was very good, and the views all over the property are incredible.

I was really excited about staying here, I used $250 in points. The grounds and over all appearance of the hotel were gorgeous. However, room service took over and hour and a half forgetting multiple items we ordered. The huge beautiful bathtub in the executive suite would not hold water. When we called to see if they had a rubber stopper or cover they wanted to send an engineer at 11 pm, after my baby was asleep. Naturally I declined. The hair dryer in the room did not work, and they charged us full price for the room along with the Expedia price by mistake. Seemed like a comedy of errors but not funny at that price $$$$. We were refunded extra charge and they gave us free breakfast.

Super friendly and helpful staff, property was just beautiful.

The staff made our stay the best: Maria at Cayden’s; Jonathan at the front desk; Ivan at the pool, Darrian at Ignite. Maid service was fabulous with “Miss Kallie!” Our only complaint is the amount of flies everywhere and the smell of sewage at the pool area.
