Friendly staff A bit dirty. The breakfast area is gross. And the selections are terrible. Needed a toothbrush and the tightwad owner has those in the vending machine.

Decent little breakfast, staff always friendly and helpful, hot tub could be a little cleaner but was hot, as a hot tub should be but isn't always, balcony areas for breakfast and pool, and very clean room and property. Great location, walking distance from a quaint park/skate park/pickle ball court with a creek and trail running by it, liquor store, grocery store and Garden of the Gods. Would 100% recommend, and will stay again.

We have stayed here both times in Manitou Springs. Has pool and hot tub and a decent breakfast. Also close enough to down town. Great diner next door as well.

We had a Great Stay. The staff was helpful, clean rooms and Loved the In Room Jetted Bathtub! The Breakfast's could have been better. Just by having some hot oatmeal with fruit like blueberries or blackberries even strawberries. They didn't have any Juice options??? They had the waffles were great, but, the syrup pumps were 😖 i pumped 20 pumps and did not get more than a heaping tablespoon of syrup???

The hotel was a very good value for the price. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was from powered eggs (I think) with very little variety.

The rooms were a lot larger for relaxing instead of sitting on the bed.

Room was clean. Walls a bit thin (guy on meetings next to us at 6am), but not holding that against them. The pool area was a but rundown. It was a bit annoying that, while there is a back door to exit from, you can't come back in. So running to the car and back became a ordeal. The continental breakfast was pretty slim pickings. Overall, it was fine for the price. The staff was friendly. Location was nice being a short drive to Manitou.

Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Typical “gray” food found in any budget friendly hotel, but there was a terrific diner 1/2 block away. Laminate floors looked clean, but we spilled a large cup of water and moping it up proved they were not really very clean! Didn’t use the hot tub. Staff was fun and helpful

The only issues we had mostly were with breakfast. It felt like everything wasn't made from real food. It's hard to explain.The hard boiled eggs didn't have any flavor of being eggs. The scrambled eggs were hard in some places, and the sausage could be better.

Towels had some makeup staining, but the bed linens were clean.

I did not like their new system. They have you put in your last four digits of your phone number to unlock your door rather than using a card. It kept freezing out on us and I kept having to go to the front desk to get into our room. It was a nuisance. Other than that it was great. I just highly recommend that you don’t keep that system that you are testing.

I like the location and have stayed here several times. It backs up to a park, and is within walking/running/cycling distance to Garden of the Gods. Breakfast, a little underwhelming especially if you happen to be veg/vegan, allergic to eggs or avoid pork. It'd be nice to have more options like rice/beans for burritos or sauteed veg options. Otherwise, it's ok. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance. You can walk to Manitou Springs (a little bit of a hike but doable) which is our favorite town in CO. Walls are thin but as long as there aren't kids running up and down the hallways, or drunks nearby, it's ok. They switch from key cards to punch-in codes for the doors which is more convenient, imho. Will stay here again and I've brought other friends here too.

The room was newly renovated and clean. The common areas like hallways/stairwells were not very clean. The pool and hot tub were a highlight and my grandchildren enjoyed them very much. The pool was a nice temperature and the hot tub was definitely hot! The location was convenient and the staff helpful. Breakfast was also better than an average included breakfast.

The staff is great. The property itself is in poor condition. The breakfast is bland, boring and poor quality. I had issues during my stay because of the property and the staff was wonderful trying to help. The parking lot is very limited with lighting.

The only reason I go to this hotel is for the jet tub and when i booked it was available online. I ger to the property and it was unavailable. So it was a waste of 130 dollars.

I wish they'd put more than one nightstand in a room. It's such a pain trying to set up 2 CPAPs on a tiny stand with a phone in the way. The pool and hot tub were very nice. There were a couple of families using them while we were, and the kids had fun together while the adults enjoyed the bubbles. The room was moderately noisy when upstairs neighbors ran around giggling. Not as bad as some places we'd stayed, but could be better. Breakfast was on the minimal side. There were powdered eggs and sausage, a waffle machine, fruit, yogurt.

We only saw one staff member ( during check in) and she seem distracted and impersonal. We could barely hear her when she spoke to us. The bed was comfortable and the in room hot tub was nice. However, they were in the process of remodeling, so it was noisy and not quite clean in public areas. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Sausage and eggs and waffles were provided, but the syrup and coffee creamer containers were clogged with dry residue. There was no juice available or sweet rolls. The coffee was average.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hallways needed to be vacuumed badly. There is currently renovations going on and there is construction stuff everywhere, hence the need to vacuum. We chose this hotel bc my son loves arcades and it said there was a game room. Well that game room is now the storage room for all of the construction stuff so it was not open. The breakfast featured scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, waffle makers and other cold breakfast items. No juice. Just water, coffee, milk and tea. Bummer for the kids. Juice would have been nice. Pool and hot tub were nice.

Price was reasonable compared to others nearby. Motel was undergoing complete room renovations to upgrade from the old. We stayed in a renovated room. Since this is an older building, the rooms are actually larger. The room layout we had was nice, functional, and nice size. The room was very quiet. A/C, TV, and hot shower water were good. But the older set-in bathtub was small and the shower faucet control was in need of adjustment or repair. Overall; the room suited our needs adequately.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Hotel was doing renovations so it was very messy. Room's bathroom fan did not work so room was very humid after showers. USB charge port did not work, one bedside lamp did not work, very old building. You get what you pay for. Hoping their current renovations fix these things. Breakfast was subpar.

Bath-tub faucet handle not connected to faucet. Both chairs deficient: One was tilted forward, the other did not maintain its height. Smoke smell and other odors throughout hallways. Dirty carpets. Pillows too think to sleep on. No rooms with East-facing or West-facing windows.

Nice Mountain view in a good location close to shopping and activities. Hottest hot tub I've ever been in at a hotel. As I was not traveling with my family on this trip it would have been nice to have an adult only hour at the end of the evening in the pool area so that there is time for adults to be able to have a more relaxing opportunity to utilize it! Staff was very attentive and kind.

Was told upon arriving that I couldn’t get two rooms together because the hotel “couldn’t take the risk”. When I asked what that meant I was told that if the rooms were together, it would be likely that we would cause too much noise and cause too much commotion for the other guests. I’m very disappointed because we have stayed in hotels and resorts all over the country and the world and have never been treated as though we were “a risk”. The people in the room next to ours were noisy and disruptive until after 11 pm, the breakfast had only eggs and cereal and no juice or any drink other than coffee and the refrigerator in our room (#212) made a loud buzzing noise all night. We did not sleep well or eat well. Highly disappointed in this hotel.

Worst breakfast options and hotel needs renovation

This was our second time here. We love this place… Customer Service was great both stays.. We live out by DIA. Just a great stay-cation! But we got to the buffet around 9:05 and there was only 3 Tbl spoons of scrambled eggs… That was it… I know it was later in the morning. Sure wish we could have had more… But it won’t deter us from going back!!!!!

Hotel was okay, not great. The breakfast only offered milk and water to drink. It had cereal (frosted flakes and raisin bran), eggs, sausage, fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), waffles and toast. I would say it also offered yogurt but it was expired. The coffee was burnt as well. When going to our room, the door frame/handle/key slot shocked you so bad, you could see a visible spark, and this was every time we touched the door. The bed left my body so sore and the pillows were not ideal. The pool and hot tub were clean so that was nice. The location of the hotel is good, it's right on the other side of downtown and the customer service was good. However, I would not return to this hotel due to the shocking metal door, the poor quality of beds, and the poor breakfast selection.

The gentlemen working the deal Thanksgiving night was a man of tremendous character and just a wonderful human being. Everyone there for a matter of fact was great.

Upon check in the check in lady was not the friendliest at all. She coded our room keys for only 1 night. We stayed 2 nights. The next day we had to get new room keys. This lady was the bomb. She gave us new room keys, gave directions and helped us order a pizza. So helpful and friendly

we put the door hanger asking for maid service out two different days. We never received service. We had to go to the front counter and ask for more towels and TP. The room decor is cold and sterile. the HVAC unit is very loud. Finally, the pictures hung on the wall are very very crooked not a big deal in itself, but just drives home the general lack of care and attention seen everywhere

There were dirty clothes left behind in the room from previous guests including underwear! Gross!! When I asked for toothpaste from the front desk or change for the vending machine, or a safety pin , they replied that they don't do that. The shower head was also malfunctioning and fell off when I tried top adjust it. Definitely should not carry the Wyndym name. Wont stay here again.

Great overnight stay for our family! Room was clean with updated furnishings, flooring, etc. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our mattresses were a bit hard and the shower spray didn't have a lot of pressure, but it didn’t detract too much from our stay. We would stay at this Days Inn again.

2 days with no housekeeping or maid service!!! I paid $700 to be disregarded like it didn't matter! No real apology or effort made by management to make it right...nothing, not even a lame excuse as to why my room was overlooked despite being a mere 20 feet from housekeeping. There are no excuses for this hotel to be managed this way, will never, ever stay there again.

We stayed here 5 nights while visiting family. Area is quiet and felt safe. This area of town is between Old Colorado City and Mantou Springs, so not a busy area and walking to eat or shop is not real close. The property is older but well kept. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, although the room towels were thin and small and should be updated. The breakfast buffet was basic and could have used some pastries and juice. Only option was coffee, milk and water. Staff was not always visible at the desk but nearby.

Only bad thing was breakfast variety has gone downhill. No juice for kids, no bagels, bread was out, milk was out and guy working in there had attitude about having to get more things out and took forever. Otherwise, pool and hut tub superb as always and we got to see the bear that was around out back while we were there.

Very rude lady at the front desk, was making false claims against my child saying we can’t stay on an upper floor as she would run around and make noise, my child is 15 she is not a toddler and for the hotel to say that is very bad, the rude lady at the front desk apparently quit her job the next day but it’s still not good enough, the only good things were the rooms were newly refurbished and the lady at the front desk the next day but that was it, breakfast was very poor aswell, no juice, no decaf coffee which is very very bad, apparently they are getting rid of the breakfast but it is still no excuse.

Too bad this hotel is the most economical one in the area, as that tends to attract a lower class of people.

15 minute walk to centre of Manitou but free shuttle bus also available in the town just a couple of minutes walk from hotel.

You get what you pay for! There was hair left in the bathroom around the sink and in the shower from previous guests. The sheets and towels also had stains on them. The breakfast was okay-hot food & coffee and fresh fruit but nothing special. The staff were very friendly and the parking lot was very spacious. We had a trailer and were able to unhook.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is nice. It’s in need of updating, especially the pool area. They provide a breakfast that is okay, but juice would have been appreciated. The immediate area outside the hotel doesn’t offer much, but there is a shuttle that takes you into the town of Manitou Springs. The town is quite nice with lots of cute shops and restaurants.

We had a great stay! My wife and I found the staff to be every friendly and accommodating to whatever we requested. It was also a bonus that they had a business center and printer available, especially when we needed one. The breakfast was pretty good too. My only comment is that they add more refreshment options like orange and apple juice. Last but not least, the mountain views right by the hotel were absolutely beautiful!

I didn't expect a high-end experience and was very pleased with the accommodations. Comfy, clean and all our needs were met.

It’s the perfect location and place to stay. Jamie was the sole reason we picked this location. I had called around and spoke to a few other hotels but they were not helpful or friendly. Jamie was kind, patient, and the most helpful and cheerful over the phone. When we got there, I heard her voice and watched her manage the dining area and was blown away at her hard work and attention to detail. She is amazing! Would def stay here and recommend this spot!

I liked that the bus stop was right there and it was free. It didn’t feel clean to my family and the food options were poor at best. Most hotels have a place to buy things that were forgotten and little snacks. This one did not. The gentleman who checked us in was great. The hallway smelled like smoke (huge issue for our child with severe asthma) overall, the stay was okay.

The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour early after a long travel day. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would say that the only downfall was that in the pool and hot tub area, there was a group of 6 to 8 children who were running and jumping into shallow water and splashing cold water. The parents did not intervene. After hiking all day, and looking forward to relaxing, this was a disappointment. It was no fault of the hotel staff though, but maybe the area should be monitored for safety reasons

It's an older hotel with visible wear and tear. The beds were ok but not the most comfortable. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast with eggs and waffles, etc. It has an indoor pool with hot tub. Overall it was ok for the price but could use a major refresh.

Downtown Manitou Springs was disappointing. Days Inn was ok.

I won't be staying there again.

I've been staying at this place when I go to Colorado Springs. It is in need of some remodeling. The beds aren't the best and the breakfast they offer do not provide enough choices. Will look for a different place to stay when I visit there again. One night would be fine but not multiple nights.

Nice place! Clean rooms! Friendly staff! Breakfast wasn't great not stocked very well!

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location is great, with close proximity to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, shopping and more. There in also a free shuttle that picks you up next door. We had a safe, quiet stay.

The Wi-Fi was great and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything

It was clean and well maintained.

Beds were comfy but the noise ruined being able to sleep. I don’t know why they don’t put slow close on the doors because the door slamming is obnoxious. I requested floor two but the person at the desk assured me floor one would be quiet. Well I had an awful night sleep because she didn’t put me upstairs where it would be quiet. I had a super busy and long day planned and the lack of sleep made it difficult to complete.

We were very happy with our stay. It was clean affordable and perfect location So close to town.

We enjoyed our stay here, the pool and hot tub were nice and breakfast was filling and handy! Great bed, went right to sleep.

The jacuzzi /whirlpool in our room was odd. It was right next to the bed.

This is my go to when I am in the Manitou area. Some decent breakfast, it's close to everything. And relaxing in the jetted tub after a day on the trails, it was pretty wonderful.

This hotel was very clean but a little noisy. It provided the bare minimum for guests and we had to pay extra for a very small roll seat bed, even though we booked the room for 5 people. This should be included in the price.

We are on vacation and had so much fun in the Manitou / Colorado Springs area we extended our stay 1 day. The staff handled our request and arranged for us to keep our same room. The A/C was a little inconsistent in our room. We just had to adjust temperature to keep it cool

It was a great location and reasonable. Staff was very nice. The room was kind of noisy, i could hear people on all sides of us. The shower was very dirty, had other peoples hair and soap on the walls.

Overall not a bad only complaint would be breakfast was meh would be nice to have bagels and pastries.

Smaller older property in a decent location. Staff was friendly and doing what they can with what they have to work with. Place was clean but the room did have a strong odor, and a bit musty.

I appreciated that we were a very short distance drive to the Garden of the Gods! Store and restaurants were walking distance

The breakfast was not great. The sausage was pink and cold both days. The options were very limited. The noise was terrible. You could hear everything through the walls. Each time someone above us flushed their toilet it was very loud. It sounded like the people above us were elephants walking around. The carpet in the hallway was pretty dirty.

The hotel was average Days Inn. Havent been to one in a long time. No carpets in the rooms, vinal flooring. May be easier to clean, but the people above you come through VERY loud. If they roll a suitcase or walk heavy. Its very strange.

Location was excellent - it's enough off the main strip in Manitou that you don't have lots of people walking by, but it's close enough to drive where you want to be.

Great 2-star option, beds and amenities felt clean but the floor could do with some better mopping
