Having the suite with two burner stove, full fridge and dishwasher was handy The amount of trash and cigarettes on ground was shocking, our room smelled of cigarettes and the air conditioning hardly blew out cold air. Its not a dislike but the hotel host most construction workers. They will friendly and quiet but didn’t feel very family like.

I love the rate the room. The rate is usually less than $100 and you charge me $250 something dollars for the room. I don't see why and then you charge me 2 days for staying and I only stayed one. I'm going to Navy Federal credit Union on Monday the 19th and make sure we dispute it and take you guys to court You overcharged for your rooms. The regular rate is less than $100. Come to find out you charge over $200

I felt so cheated. We flew in and arrived at the hotel past 9pm, first night of our vacation. The room assigned to us is right in the lobby! The clerk pointed out to me from behind the check-in counter. I requested a quiet room and told it was the only one left! We had no choice. And we were awakened by conversation at 130am, and 3 more times till 3am. We were so tired to get up till 3am. I opened the door and found a gentleman behind the check-in counter talking to a worker sitting in the lobby. They apologized. But later I was still awakened before 7am. It was other guests checking out after 7am. We were trashed from sleep deprivation and our first morning of vacation ruined. I complained during checkout and the clerk agreed to give me 50% off. I certainly will not choose this one on Expedia if I knew the room is a noisy one - hotel should say this room is in a disadvantaged location so it has a competitive price - deceiving clients here as I could choose other hotels with same rating and price range. Don't be cheated like me.

There was mold and rust in the tub. There was hair in the tub/ shower as well The hotel had an odd smell like a dirty locker room. The dishes in the suite had a grease/ hrine film on them. The floors looked like they had not been mopped months. I told the manager and all he said was I'm sorry and didn't offer to do anything. We couldn't go to another hotel because everything was sold out for that evening

The room actually exceeded my expectations. It smelled amazing as if it was just cleaned. I still did my own cleaning and the white towel didn’t have a speck of dirt from anywhere. The only issue I had was I felt rushed to check out. I was dealing with issues at home so I wanted to enjoy the peace as long as I could. Checkout time is 12 pm. I received a reminder call at 11:08 am and then 2 separate knocks by 11:19 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A previous tenant (s) had smoked in the room, despite there being "no smoking" signs in the halls. Everything we owned had to be cleaned, washed and aired when we returned home. Also, there were bugs in/on the cabinets. Not necessarily the usual roaches, but scattering bugs! The staff was cordial, no complaints about the staff. The room gets a thumbs down. We have stayed here before and had no problem; however, I'm not sure we'll stay again. The place is beginning to look "seedy" and unkempt.

Stayed here for two weeks. My room was clean. They provided housekeeping once per week. Fresh brewed coffee was available 24/7. No free breakfast. Free washer and dryer as long as you have your own detergent. Closest restaurants were two miles away. I’d gladly stay here again.

I will never stay elsewhere.

Everything was wonderful! The room was pristine clean, the kitchenette elevated our stay and felt more cozy, and the amenities were very nice!

The property was fine, perfect stay! Room was a little stuffy coming in. Sad the gym only had one treadmill but we made do!

Great stay! My only gripe is that there needs to be a bell at the front desk because we had to wait a bit for someone to appear (after we made a sound to get their attention).

The room was perfect! Lots of space, all the conveniences of home (refrigerator, stove, etc..). Secluded, but with lots to do within short drives. Go to the innovation park!

Friendly and quiet by

The shower soap dish was dirty. The pillow and sheets had hairs on them. Out of the towels provided, only 2 bath towels, 1 wash cloth, and 1 hand towel were clean; the others had hairs or caked up stuff on it and stains. The room smelled like a dirty ashtray. The hotel was relatively new and was surprised at the lack of cleanliness. If it wasn’t so late I would have left and demanded a refund.

The only criticism that I had was that I did not recieve towels to the room when requested. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay!

The rooms at candlewood are some of the best for those on business trips with the availability of full kitchen appliances and tableware. The only downside is they don’t offer breakfast. You have to buy it from there little store

I have stayed in a lot of long stay hotels in my travels and this one stood out. I stayed in the one with two rooms. The full kitchen with and island was fantastic (I like to cook when I travel). It had all the basic things I needed already in the kitchen. It had lots of space to put food items so that they were not cluttering the space. I was surprised the place had two good closets (what I would give for those in my actual UK flat). It was clean, spacious, and the decor was nice. The kitchen even had real tiles on the back splash. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was surprised to find a free Costa coffee machine in the lobby. Laundry facilities were free and there was a gym. I plan to stay there again next I return.

Overall great experience. We were only there for 2 nights but check in was easy. It is pet friendly but there is not a pet area to let the dog out. We just walked around the facility which is fine. The room was clean. The AC unit door was broken and wouldn’t stay closed. It was in the way of getting to one side of the bed.

This was on Christmas Day...the front desk helped me several times and was wonderful

There was a smoker in the building and the scent drifted into my room, that was all that made my stay unpleasant.

We came to a funeral and hotel was conveniently located close to where we need to be. The hotel was very nice and clean. The guest service who greeted us was so helpful in checking us in when we got in at 1am. Our flight got cancelled going home so we ended up booking another night here. I would recommend staying here. Room has a full kitchen as well.

Check-in was not the best. Nobody was at the front desk but there is a sign to call the front desk to get service. If one isn’t paying attention, you would never know. The room itself was pretty nice. We had everything we needed in the suite. However, it was easy to tell that the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. The tub still had some leftovers in it and there was a weird smell when entering the room. Out of the 4 towels we got, 2 were not clean. Outside of that, the stay was pleasant enough and since the hotel is on the cheaper side, you pay for what you get.

This seemed to be a hotel that hosted more transient or trade workers in the area. Given the availability of kitchen(s) in room, there was often a strange smell in the halls. The hotel was very bare bones and basic.

Hotel room was very spacious with a kitchenette included an oversized (noisy) fridge. Bathroom had a bath with shower over. Unfortunately found 2 very long dark hairs when using shower for first time- I have very short hair, so was a little disgusted. Bed was comfortable and room was good in general, but the air-conditioning, although effective. was noisy and disruptive to sleep.

Great amenities. One of the mattresses in my room needed to be replaced but overall, it was a comfortable stay.

It has a 7/11 near by. But it’s kinda on the outskirts of town. Unless you have a car to get into town. Then I recommend GrubHub or DoorDash to get food. It is a great place to stay and close to the Juffy Arena.

The room was actually nice and had a lot of amenities. The lobby was very underwhelming so I was nervous the rooms would be just as unwelcoming. The gym lacked equipment like a second treadmill and a bike but at least it had towels and free weights. I liked that it was a pet friendly hotel and that is why I picked it (and it was close to the venue).

Check in was a breeze. Plenty of parking. Room was clean and roomy. Definitely will stay there again. Its very close to the nearby concert venue.

The price was very comfortable. I liked how clean it was. The kitchen was a plus even tho we did not use it. They provided Dove Shampoo, conditioner and body wash and all smelled so good. Front desk was very friendly.

Our room was not ready when we arrived. We were told it would be 5 mins and to wait in lobby. Desk clerk checked in 3 other parties, gave them a room. Finally I got back in line and eventually got a room. Total disregard for our time.

Came into NOVA from NY for a brief visit (4/18-4/20) and I wish I could’ve stayed a little longer. Staff was polite and warm upon check in and the room was clean, cool, and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed for the weekend to get some work done without any distractions. The area and the hotel were very quiet. The room had a full size refrigerator and a kitchen. Very clean and comfortable.

The management at the property, especially Jessica and JJ, will work to take care of the customer. You couldn’t ask for a better group of people to make your stay a 5 star stay. I appreciate all the management and custodians, everyone is so polite. You won’t be disappointed, it is also very safe and quite and in a great location.

Amazing customer service. Some faults with our stay. We could hear our neighbors, small spikes on the rugged area, stains on towels, dirty utensils, and broken keys to our room. Not a perfect stay but we enjoyed it and would come back again because of the staffing.

The property itself is in good shape, and the design of the suites is minimalist and tasteful. The desk staff was polite but could be more attentive. The house keeping staff dropped the ball; the couch in my room was a mess with dried on stains. Everything else was clean but that one omission was very weird.

Everything was great, except for the key card and getting into the room. Almost every time I went back to the room it took me several times using the key card to get into my room, and I almost had to go back a few times to the front desk and asked the person about it.

You can't go wrong with Candlewood. I always look for them when planning a trip. For the money you will not find a chain that's better appointed or more clean.
