Barefoot Beach Club

My family and I absolutely loved this spot and will definitely be back in the future. I honestly can not think of any cons, everything from the location to the rooms themselves was PERFECT.

Dirty outdated rooms ( bathrooms seem to be from the 1970s)

Perfect everything. Right on the beach. Easy access to restaurants and all area beaches. Super clean, extremly family friendly. Pool areas were very nice. We stayed beachfront with an awesome view of the beach and sunsets. Parking was wonderful, no hassles to find a space.Would definitely recommend to everyone and go back again.

-extremely Dirty spatula in drawer when we got there. I mean, caked in some sort of food. -Dirty floors - feet were black within minutes of walking around. It was super gross. -Shower floor was gross. Had mold of heavy mildew in the corners. -Lock on front door was broken. Only the flap latch worked. -Just a general note: if you have a place with room for 5-6 maybe have 5-6 chairs on the balcony? Had five of us and only four chairs so some of us used the table as an extra chair.

It was absolutely fantastic...the pool was never crowded and always perfectly relaxing...just a stone's throw away from John's pass...beaches a mere 50 yards from our doorstep...authentic Mexican restaurant right across the street and a quaint breakfast/ brunch spot just a block away...WE WILL BE BACK 100%

The view from our room was beautiful. Also the closeness to St. John’s Pass is a major plus. It is only a 5 minute walk.

Older hotel with small rooms. The shower was older style fiberglass enclosure. No hand rails, so shower at your own risk. My biggest complaint was that the bed was on a hollow metal platform that sounded like a metal drum when touched by your foot. Very loud and startling.

We just returned today. 15 hr drive with two kids. I would stay here again. Clean property quiet and on the beach. Pool was a little cool for the kids in fact cooler than the gulf. Room was great everything you could want except I believed when I booked it I was getting beachfront but beware there are two buildings one on the beach then in the middle is a parking lot and then the building we stayed in. Could still see the gulf and beach but couldn’t really hear waves crashing with street noise. It would do well to have a bar and grill on property would be my best suggestion. Overall great place to stay for the money!

This property is well worth it! We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it is plenty big! Love that the full kitchen is there as it makes eating all meals out a bit easier. The location cannot be beat if you want to be near John's pass! Great great location right on the beach. 1 pool and 1 wading pool to just take the sun in. Plenty of lounge chairs just if you want a chair on the beach you'll have to pay to rent or bring your own. There are washers and dryers, so if you want to do laundry, bring your own detergent. Also, there are no sponges provided for the sink to wash dishes, and only 1 dishwashing tablet per stay. Otherwise, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean, and you can't get a better location!

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, family trip to Florida. Loved being right on the beach and within walking distance to John’s Pass and other restaurants. Staff were more than kind and helpful. Getting items needed was easy. Pool was clean. Loved being able to take the towels provided to the beach and or the pool! We would come back.

Not a big drinker, but more than once I would have loved to have had a drink and there was no bar.

We have stayed here several times and after we leave I always want to go back. We always get an ocean view. Sitting out on the soft sand or on our balcony is always great.

It’s so close to many fun activities/ food/ shopping. Would have loved if there were a couple more hooks in the room for hanging up little things and also a full length mirror. There was also only one trash can in our room, one more would have been preferred. These are tiny complaints. And we will be back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff is excellent. Property is older and rooms are dated. We found a cockroach in the room. Beds are OK. No beach view, had a pool view and the hallways were very loud. Elevator was hydraulic and very, very loud and slow.

My family of four just stayed at Barefoot for a week during our first visit to the area. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The staff that cleans the common areas were very hardworking. We got a 2-bedroom with kitchenette and balcony for a reasonable price, and it made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We came without a car and were able to walk to restaurants, shops, 7-11, and ordered groceries a few times. Overall excellent stay. Only wish the hot tub and pool were open past 9 pm (at least for quiet guest :)) definitely would return !!

We had a wonderful stay. The view of the gulf from our balcony was amazing. Staff was super helpful and we appreciated the cleanliness of the pool and surrounding area.

We absolutely loved the amenities and location, what a beautiful view! Our room was a little stinky and had some mold in the bathroom sink, and I do wish we’d had housekeeping once or twice outside of towel replacement. But this is a beautiful property, quiet and family friendly. Parking was also a breeze which was much appreciated for the area!

Beautiful updated rooms, very clean and close to beach. All staff very friendly and helpful.

View was great, room was clean-ish. Room seemed very worn with the furniture being very rusty, bathroom was not ideal and very dated, bed was AWFUL and hard as a rock, rooms were noisey and the door was not well insulated. If you're on a budget I suppose this place will do, however I expected a tad better for the price.

There is a great beach lounger rental right in front of hotel, so that worked out but was an extra cost that I hadn’t planned on. The pictures in the listing weren’t completely accurate from what I could tell, minor differences. Otherwise, great location, close walk to many amenities and can’t beat being on the beach. We will be back!

The rooms and amenities are basic. But property well maintained and clean. And you can’t beat the location. You walk right out on the beach and only a short walk to John’s Pass! Highly recommend!

The pictures online do not do this property nor the two bedroom condo justice we were blown away with what we had rented for the weekend. The size of our patio was incredible and it hosted for adults very comfortably.

Beach was nice. Room was small, and bed wasn't the most comfortable. Lot of people there to party...nobody there past 9 at night that works there. Had our umbrella stolen as well...convenient location to restaurants and bars...

The housekeeping carts woke us up in the early morning. They need rubber tires and more quiet cart. No long mirror in our room. The only mirrors in the bathroom. Impossible for more then 1 person to get ready at the same time.

Beautiful condo style hotel. We loved the ocean views from the 5th floor. Very nice pool area and direct access to the beach. Only issues were the temperature of the water in the showers was very hard to control and the noise from the road at night. Would stay again.

All was perfect!

We had a great time at Barefoot Beach Club. We had a queen ocean view suite. The view was goregous. We had a microwave, sink and mini fridge. We bought groceries to pack light lunches and snacks and the amount of room we had to keep everything cold was perfect. We did not use the pool as we enjoyed the beach as we had the option to rent chairs/umbrellas and/or cabanas. The staff at check in were polite and prompt. Hunter, the gentleman in charge of the beach rentals was super friends and accomadating. Took really good care of his equipment. Laundry facilites on site with a used book library. Ice avabilable for coolers and drinks.

This was our second time staying here and we will 100% return every year. The rooms and amenities are absolutely perfect. The location is perfect and we are extremely impressed with our stay every time. Highly recommended!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Barefoot Beach Club located right on the beach. Our room was clean and in good condition. The pool was very nice and well maintained. We were only here for two days, but our limited interactions with the staff were very positive. Nice people, very accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel if your visiting Madeira Beach.

Just got back stayed for 3 nights. All great but no restaurant on the property so bring food if you like to eat. (lol) We had a 2 bedroom unit so lovely with the first bedroom part of the balcony view. It's huge. Free Yoga on Sat. and Sunday mornings as well. 2 Chairs and cabana rentals on beach $40 cash or 45 with a cc. And our view was incredible for partial ocean beach view. 2nd. bedroom is on the bay side where you enter the unit. Only concern was the hot water and cold water do not unite in the shower so it was either too hot or too cold. Unless I missed something. Overall excellent accommodations there. Hot tub and pool too.

The beach view was amazing! Being able to walk directly onto the beach from the hotel priceless. The rooms were nice and well cleaned at arrival. Staff was friendly, but not overbearing.

The view from the balcony is unbeatable! It's a great location, and we were surprised to have more items in the kitchenette than expected (utensils, dishware, etc.). Pool area was nice too. The wear and tear on the space was pretty evident, mold in the tile grout, water damage in bathroom without a good curtain situation, and the A/C was super loud and outdated.

Here’s what we like about the suites at Barefoot. They have a complete kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms, and a generous living area with a wide outdoor space ( with a table and chairs. ) Furnishings are in excellent shape. The kitchen is properly stocked with utensils. The showers are comfortably large and water pressure is adequate. The water is not as annoyingly “soft” as elsewhere in Florida- apparently due to the softening filter they use. (Small point I know- but it seems to take forever at other lodgings to rinse soap off.) There is plenty of parking, some covered. In my experience the desk clerks and maintenance people are both pleasant and helpful. The pool is clean as is the hot tub. The beach is a one minute walk. Niggling: Maybe some salt and pepper to avoid having to buy and then leave them-same with sugar and creamers. They do supply 2 or three coffee packets and an adequate supply of filters, but a week’s worth would be more helpful. Same with washing and dishwashing detergent. But - niggling. This is a great place to stay.

It was beautiful! Very large and clean condo. Had a great view of the pool and ocean, huge balcony. Walked to all the shops and restaurants. Sculleys was the best! Shallow pool was nice for tanning too! The beach was huge and not too crowded even over spring break!

I think most the properties in this area are overpriced but relative to that, Barefoot Beach Club was a very good choice for us. Wonderful view from our 3rd floor room, felt safe, comfy bed, nice shower, relatively quiet setting in early April. Terrific beach access and free parking! We will come here again.

Beach is awesome and we loved our oceanview balcony Didn't go in the hot tub as there were usually too many kids in it which is discouraging. Also, I wish they would have had the music on in the pool area the whole time we were there instead of just the last day or two. It adds a bit of resort-feel with music playing. And they could get a little better pool towels as they were super thin and not soft. Looking forward to the rooftop bar opening hopefully next year as that provides amazing views and would be a nice added feature to this hotel.

Room was great plenty of room spectacular views and the pool was nice for kids and adults and the beach access was perfect! I would definitely recommend this place and it was close to John’s Pass!

Perfect, beautiful, quiet, wonderful.

We rented the 2 BR 2 bath suite. We had ocean view and a large balcony on the 6th floor. Daily service of necessities was a very nice. Leaving a basket outside the door with dirty towels to be switched out with clean towels was nice as well as letting the staff know which toiletries were needed daily was quick and easy. The hot tub and pool area was clean and neat. The property was well taken care of. The close proximity to the beach was awesome! There were umbrellas and chairs available each day for rent. The front desk attendants were knowledgeable and friendly as well as accommodating! I have already recommended this resort to friends for their stays!

My one and only issue was that the gym wasn’t open until 9 AM. I would think people on vacation would want to work out bright and early before starting the rest of their day. Everything else at the hotel could be accessed by key cards and wrist bands. I would think they could do the same with the gym.

Honestly, for the price, we are situated right on the beach. There is a chair rental opportunity with cabanas right outside the hotel. It is moments from John’s pass. I do suggest you rent a car. It gives you the opportunity to drive over to Clearwater and downtown St. Petersburg with ease. While I may not stay back here. I would definitely recommend it.

Our stay here was amazing! Beautiful views and property. Friendly staff. Kids loved the pool. Steps to the beach and we enjoyed having the option to rent the cabanas. The units were clean, staff was prompt in giving fresh towels and toiletries with their basket and postcard system. We were able to walk to many different shops and restaurants. Really nice overall vibe at this resort. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Location to the beach. 2 pools. All staff were kind, helpful and professional. Seeing dolphins swim by every morning, and watching the sun set every evening. I loved the jacuzzi! The room smelled musty. The pull-out couch wasn't very comfortable. The refrigerator was too small. The only ice maker was located on the 2nd floor. That was inconvenient. There is a sign on the jacuzzi that kids have to be 18 yrs. old, however it was not inforced.

Great location within walking distance to John's Pass, which has many shops and restaurants to choose from. Beach is great, well taken-care of, not extremely busy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room had a sink, microwave, fridge, along with a sofa and balcony overlooking the pool. Pool/Hot Tub are small but they work just fine even if it is busy. We loved the way the resort does laundry. Put a basket outside your door before 10:00am and they will replenish any linens. They will do room service if requested, but respect your privacy as well. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved staying here. Super close to Johns Pass.. had a great view of the beach. The room was spacious and clean. The elevators were a bit slow and I wish they had another ice machine. Overall I am happy with my stay and would definitely return!

We cannot wait to go back! We got in late when staying here, check in was easy. Pool was having maintenance done during our stay. Amazing beach access. Staff allowed us a late check out to accommodate for our afternoon flight, this was so appreciated!

The room was cleanly and the location was great, right on the ocean. The pool hours could be extended and often after quiet hours the facility had trucks delivering and taking out stuff which was loud and hard to sleep but other than that the place was amazing.

The view from our balcony was next level. The room was clean and met every expectation! Absolutely wonderful!

Our beachfront room was wonderful. Great balcony to enjoy our morning coffee and evening sunsets. Pool area was well laid out ( they should enforce the no children in the hot tub rule) and towels were abundant. Easy walk to several restaurants and the is a “tip only” beach shuttle that is a phone call away.

The beach view was the best! Hotel one bedroom units are a bit dated; however, staff was excellent and rooms were clean. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are steps from the hotel which was very convenient!

This was a great location. The view from our room balcony was amazing. The beach and pool were awesome and you could always find a seat. The room was very clean and the service to refresh towels and supplies were great. Great walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and water activities. The only down fall was the shower temperature. So days luke warm showers and other days we had a cold shower.

Room very clean. Staff always friendly & helpful. Beautiful pool & grounds. Unfortunately, during our stay some guests and their children were not respectful of the pool rules and the other guests. Children were jumping off the pool waterfall area and the pillars by the pool (very unsafe) and were in the hot tub with boogie boards & pool noodles. Parents & their children completely disregarded the posted rules stating no children under 18 allowed in hot tub. This made it difficult for other guests, us included, to be able to enjoy the pool area.

I was very happy with the overall state of the hotel. Although the building is starting to show it's age everything is functional and well maintained. Although the office is not 24hrs they were more than happy to accommodate our late check-in.

The suite was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were corteous.

The room was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The price was very reasonable and the staff was extremely pleasant. We found our new "go-to" when we want to get away.

Apartment was clean and well equipped. It had a microwave, plates and silverware. They even had dish soup for you. We loved it, right on the beach and close to all great small business restaurants and the pier was walking distance.

It was good value and also it was a sense of getting what I paid for. Nothing wrong, nothing spectacular. Right on the beach with a warm pool and hot tub was all I asked for and all I needed and what I got. Not much more in amenities and I wasn't seeking any others. Not a luxury destination but a fine room at a low price in a fun town and prime location.

Yes the room was clean daytime host was very good and accommodating, no nighttime host just a phone number. Excellent location on the beach and short walk to John's Pass and local restaurants. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip. Had our Granddaughter visiting us from up North while on College break and she loved it. It's our 3rd visit from Central fl so we new the area definitely worth the money.

The hotel is really nice. Walkable to the beach and we can see the sunset directly. It is very beautiful. Just the bed that has a weird material and it made the noise when I hit on the side from stepping into the bed. Overall is very great and very friendly staffs. Recommended!

Gorgeous HUGE room with a beach view. I was in the second building but still had a full view out of the huge living room and master room sliders that opened to an enormous balcony. Walked to John's Pass in 6 minutes. Can see this hotel at the exit of John's Pass so it is a straight fast walk. There is one bar/restaurant across street from hotel. Hotel staff were AMAZING!!!

What a wonderful spot on the beach! We rented the 2 bedroom unit at the very last minute and it was fantastic. Great place to stay. I like how quaint it is but yet accessible to everything. Really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the beach walks. We will be back and will be recommending this place!

Onsite parking was convenient. Had towels available for the pool and beach. The room was spacious and well stocked.

The staff is wonderful. Our condo was gorgeous. Super comfortable beds with awesome sheets/comforters! I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend. Two block walk to John's Pass!!!!

This was a great little gem of a hotel. Small & quaint. We had a studio on the beachfront with a balcony & fantastic view of the ocean. The room was clean & complete with everything we needed for our stay. The towel exchange/amenities restock service was A-1! There were plenty of beach towels & even chairs & umbrellas for your use. Walking distance to John's Pass and all it had to offer. Overall a great stay! Would recommend & definitely stay again!

Amazing staff, great amenities

My husband and I made the decision to spend some time to see Tampa and visit with some family after spending time in PCB. Room was clean, and cozy. I felt I was in a little condo. The beachfront view was amazing. The little kitchenette was perfect. Was surprised dishes were provided. Never used them, but will certainly keep in mind for the next trip. I loved the direct access to many things such as John's Pass. This was a first time trip to the Tampa/St Petersburg area. Did take a day trip to swim with the manatees an hour ½ away. My husband and I decided to stay one more night and enjoy the beach. Found a lot of shells. Found the beach was quieter than others we have visited. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. This was the perfect ending to our vacation. Certainly will be staying here again in the future!

We used an Uber from airport... Didn't use parking or pool or hot tub

We initially booked a queen room with a pullout couch. It was okay. We took a peak at the rooftop patio (soon to be bar) and felt the building was a lot nicer and decided to look into upgrading. We were able to upgrade to a two bedroom, two bath room with a great view of the ocean. It was absolutely wonderful. We have already planned our next trip back down. The room was spacious, clean, plenty of supplies. Although, you need your own laundry detergent. The washer and dryers in the room are amazing. The pool area is small, but it’s what we enjoy. Intimate and not overly busy. Beach is perfect. I do wish chairs and umbrellas were included with the booking of the room. There is a third party on the beach offering chairs and umbrellas for $40 per day. Less than 5 minute walk to John’s Pass! WAY more pros than cons. Cannot wait to return!

Very Good Stay

The room was very clean. Was pleasantly surprised by the kitchen supplies...Toaster/Full size coffee maker with coffee, microwave, mini fridge, real utensils, plates and cups as well as dish soap. Pool was fantastic and the location can't be beat. Right on the beach and very close to Johns Pass as well as other restaurants and bars. Loved the Privacy and the Basket service to replace towels and essentials as needed. Looking forward to staying here again!!

The only thing I would change is the dressers in the rooms. They had a terrible smell to them so couldn’t put clothes in them. I would add full length mirrors in the rooms as well. Everything else was spot on. A great place to stay.

From check in to check out this place was GREAT. Had queen sofa ocean facing room that was spotlessly clean, furniture, refrigerator, everything in great condition. Staff was outstanding. Short walk to John’s Pass and great area on Madeira Beach. Definitely our highest recommendation.

We have stayed at this facility multiple times and have always been extremely pleased with the room, the service, the location, the staff, the pool, etc. Would highly recommend it if you are looking to stay at a facility close to John's Pass and all the fun things to do in the Maderia Beach area. Clean and roomy

When we checked in Jeremy was courteous and funny. He explained hotel procedures and asked if we had questions. The grounds were beautiful and clean. The room was very nice and had a comfy bed. The hot tub was at the perfect temperature! The location is fantastic, within walking distance to John's Pass, restaurants and a coffee shop.

Affordable and a beautiful ocean view

The location is wonderful and the pool area was very nice but that isn’t as important as a good night’s sleep.

The location was great for going to the restaurants and shops at John's Pass and the beach was very nice.

Many things stood out as positive at this resort. Customer Service being #1. We had a flight delay that ended up preventing us from being able to stay over the first night we booked at Barefoot. Kindly , we were compensating for that night by adding another night on at the end at no extra cost . So very thoughtful and kind . The beach , pool and roof top were amazing features and our room was very clean. The first morning the staff asked us what we need as soon as we stepped out the door. The leaving basket out and circling items required is a great idea . The last day after check out we were allowed to use the pool which unfortunately we did. It take advantage of sue to travel but very kind of them. We highly recommend the Barefoot. It was a breath of fresh air in every aspect after the disappoint experiment we had with the airline . Easy in and out. Beach and view amazing. Walk right out onto sand.

Very friendly staff! The bed was very comfortable. The pool was heated and very nice! There was another pool, but it was closed due to the deck being torn up. Right on the beach and we walked it every morning. We watched the sun set on the roof top deck, which was very cool! Walking distance to Johns Pass. There's a fitness room too, but I didn't use it. Looked really nice! We would definitely stay again!

Parking on site was easy. Check in after 4pm arrangements need to be made in advance, but they make it very easy.

Booked last minute, arrived after regular check in hours. The office communication is wonderful. They texted me with instructions and even left me an extra parking pass free of charge when I offered to pay. I had to leave before the office opened in the morning. Check in and check out was seamless. The room was beautiful and cleaned to perfection. The beds and pillows were also super comfy! 10/10

Excellent all around. The staff have all been friendly. The studio room had been updated with all new furniture, the kitchenette had a new fridge and microwave. There is an iron and ironing board. Glass table with two chairs and the balcony overlooking the pool. And, on the beach. The whole stay was fabulous!!! Wish I was staying longer!!

The outside of the property looked nice, and we enjoyed direct beach access. Also, the front desk was very helpful at check-in. However, the flooring, bathroom vanity and tub, balcony and sliding door were old and in poor condition. It also smelled very musty.

Loved barefoot beach club very clean got up graded when we got there to a 2bed 2bathroom apartment which was great as we had got our 16yr old grandson with us .Everything & everyone were great very friendly staff let us keep are apartment till 5pm on the day we were leaving for no extra charge,would definitely stay there again just a shame the roof top area was not open as it was lovely up there .

Everything was great!

Overall, very nice place, especially for the price. Room was just right size...not small but not large. Had sink, microwave, and medium size refrigerator. Could have used a coffee table for couch, but had a small table to eat on. Had ocean front in the smaller of two buildings ( I think only efficiencies are in this building) with very nice view! Nice amenities including beach towels for pool and ocean. Pool was nice size. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was pretty clean. Also, great location, it is walking distance to St. John's pass and boardwalk. Only issue was saw 2 bugs during our 3 day visit, so only 4 stars. They say they spray but around Oct, the bugs start to come inside. All in all a pretty nice place, especially for price. Definitely recommend. We wiill return.

Pool and hot tub were great.

Our beachfront studio was perfect. It included everything the 2 of us needed for the week. We really liked the basket system for towels and toiletries. They also offered a mid week clean since we stayed for 8 days. We will definitely return.

Highly recommend! Very clean! New paint and finishes. Pool seems new also. Right on the beach! Staff was very accommodating and friendly!

Beach view was amazing. Half way through our stay the only elevator was closed for repairs to the floor and did not reopen the remainder of our trip. We were not told anything or asked if this was a hardship for us. We struggled with the stairs and when we asked were told every time it would be open in the morning. It was still closed when we left and had to carry all our luggage down the stairs. We were disappointed that no one ever asked if we needed help.

But overall i loved the place and will be back

Generally was a good visit. Some aspects of the room could have been cleaner, particularly the paint o the bathroom door. Wouldn't take but a few minutes to wipe down the gloss paint with a damp towel to keep it spruced up.

Room was clean, front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Only two blocks from John’s pass boardwalk and we could watch the sunset from our balcony. I will definitely come again.

Wonderful office staff

The spaces in the parking lot are really tight but you can just walk out onto the beach.

We stayed in a pool view king studio. There is a partial view of the ocean from there. The room was clean. Small kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, and sink. We didnt stay inside long enough to watch the small tv because the beach, pool, and hot tub were right there! So many restaurants within walking distance. All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing I wish we knew sooner was the rooftop viewing area. Best views of the sunset from there!

Non smoking property but people smoke cigs and cigars on the balcony. Elevator broke so we had to walk up flights of stairs. Being handicapped it was not working for us so we had to leave.

The rooms could use a remodel but other than that my stay was amazing. Beachfront doesn’t get much better than that.

Room was clean, staff were friendly, view was great and I liked it that no one entered our room but us. They had a system that if you needed anything, you had a basket in your room with a check card in it. You would check the items on the card that you needed and put that basket outside your door by 9:00 a.m., then the hotel staff would put the items you requested in that basket sometime that morning with the items you requested. I can’t say anything bad about this hotel!

Very enjoyable stay. Last-minute booking at a reasonable price. I stayed in room 204 which is right across from laundry, ice, and the elevator, but it wasn't too noisy. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

I’ve stayed in sever budget friendly places in the area and this is by far my favorite.

Great stay clean close to johns pass

Be aware that the lounge chairs on the beach are not included—you must rent them for $40/day. The poolside chairs, however, are free. I also never saw the poolside cabanas shown in the pictures. The towel exchange system was inconvenient: they provide a wicker basket for dirty towels that must be set outside by 9:30 AM. If you’re out, they leave the clean towels in the basket outside your door until you return. The staff was friendly, and the view is beautiful, but the room itself could use some attention.

The staff were great! The property was beautiful. I highly recommend! The only reason for 4 star's and not five was the parking issue. One night we came back and there were no spots available. We had to park in a non parking spot. Also the elevator was very slow. Other than that our stay was wonderful and the view of the beach was incredible! A very good hotel. In my experience, the room I was given smelled a bit musty. The cleanliness wasn't very good. It's well maintained, but some areas need a thorough cleaning. It was very quiet. Some guests didn't even respect the quiet hours, but that's not the hotel's fault. I really liked the pool. It was very kid-friendly. Towels were always available at the pool without any problem. Honestly, I have no complaints about the staff; they were all excellent. That was my experience, but I would recommend it, especially for young children.

Pool hard to enjoy but walk to beach as good. But to be fair it was also at the end of the hurricane devastation time and all places seemed to be a little off their game.

Barefoot beach club was one of the best beach hotels we’ve stayed at. I looked at a ton of different options and decided on this one and I’m glad I did. It was quiet and right on the beach. The rooms view was awesome too. Could see the beach right when you walk in. We are definitely coming back and staying here again!

This property was very clean and very well maintaned,right on the beach with pool and hot tub,the trolley was a big help getting around and we were in walkable diatance to john's pass and many diffrent reasturants,i would reccomend this resort to everyone thats looking for a nice resort with great amenities.the staff was great at well as property..

Elevator was out when I left to checkout but I was only on 2nd floor so not a big deal but I’m pretty sure I saw a cockroach in the morning and then a huge dead one in the track of patio door . Other than that staff was very nice and the pool was nice. Great walking distance to John’s Pass and places to eat .

I stayed on the fourth floor in the Queen suite beachfront balcony view. There is a small refrigerator that worked great, a sink and dishes, couch TV area. Bed was comfy. Balcony view was perfect. The pools were nice and you’re literally on the beach. Everybody was super friendly it was a great stay!

This was our first time at Barefoot Beach Club and it won’t be our last. Our room was very clean and stocked well with toiletries, towels and starters in the kitchenette. The beach was awesome and easily accessible. The pool area was very nice and readily available and the grill area was terrific! First time ever in all our years travelling where the grills were cleaned! Our only complaint was that it was clearly marked that the property was smoking and vaping free but sadly there were guests that disregarded those rules. We would have liked the staff to enforce the no smoking/vaping rules.

Apartment was very nice, quiet and convenient. The view that we had from where we stay it was beautiful. The only downside was that they only have one parking spot per unit.

We had a ball. The room was so nice and clean. The only thing I didn’t care for was the shower didn’t get hot enough to suit me.

My family and I had an amazing stay. When we checked in we were greeted by a really sweet young lady. Check in process was easy and I live that you can opt in to have your room key loaded onto a waterproof bracelet. Our studio room was right on the beach and was nice snd clean. The pool was excellent, and all the staff were nice. My son lost his wallet and the Jermey who works there called me and mailed it to us! We will stay here again!

We had a pool view room, next time will get a gulf view as the pool area was crowded and loud in the evening. The noise made it difficult to enjoy our balcony. The walkability to John’s Pass was perfect! Nothing beats being right on the beach. Planning a return stay in the fall.

Our partial ocean view was perfect- two bedroom suite was spacious and wonderfully appointed with shampoo, conditioner, soap, blow dryers. Kitchen had coffee/sugar/creamer/basic plates. Full kitchen. Walk to John’s Pass and so many restaurants!!

An amazing vacation at Barefoot Beach.

No room service I am aware of. Did not replace items used each day, like coffee… Staff uninvolved.

This was an excellent place for a girl's trip. Pools were nice, shopping within walking distance, great places to eat also within walking distance. We had a great time.

We loved tge updated 2 bedroom units!

The newly renovated unit was more than i imagined! It is so sharp! Very nicely decorated with a huge balcony!
