Spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly.

You thought of it all…..multiple rack space for hanging items, extra spot with mirror in closet, microwave and fridge, good bathroom lighting, light and airy looking drapes, desk chair, etc. very nice!

Stayed a couple of times, really enjoyed. Convenient for MU.

We walked in and the bathrooms by the pool smelled like smoke. Our plans changed and we asked if we could get a credit or some of my money back. They hard lined and said no and that they were sold out. You would think with all that money from full rooms they could have a little grace.

A little slow with room availability initially but absolutely fine after that.

It was very nice and close to Mercer

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect near I-75 but with no road noise. Our room was not ready when we arrived a bit before 3:00 pm and we had driven 6 hours from Charleston to make it for the Cherry blossom parade. This made us late to get an Uber to downtown Macon.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.

We were put in a handicapped accessible room which we neither requested nor wanted. Hotel is nice and well maintained.

The room and hotel itself were great - the fees were ridiculous. For 2 small dogs it was $150, we could have just gotten them their own room. The info on hotels.com says it is a one time fee for $75 per stay.

Breakfast was excellent. A mix of hot foods and self serve items. Two attendants on duty to replenish, restock and clean. Not a fan of the open shower where water spray invariably wets the floor. Trendy, but impractical. I predict the LVP will be replaced.

Was startled awake by the people above us dropping something on the floor. Could hear them walking and what sounded like having a party. Loud music in the hallway just awful experience

Nearly spotless room. Everything checked out clean and clear. Smelled clean and new and was very spacious. Staff was friendly and inviting. Breakfast was plentiful and had many choices. Great night stay.

They put us on the first floor and it was extremely loud from 2 am to 7 am and the bed was hard.

What I am amazed about is, how could they hire such friendly people during times when there is a shortage of employees Absolutely love this place and will save it for future visit

Room was not clean. I was booked in incorrectly and had to wait 15 minutes for my bill to be corrected at departure. Elevator had a spill that was there for 3 hours.

Was not happy that I was women up my cleaning service. We got in late and was tired and the staff was banging on the door at 9am and trying to come in. We knew we didn’t have to check out till noon and if they had checked they would have known we were still there

Staff is super friendly. Rooms are large and updated with full kitchen amenities. Directly across the street from Mercer University main gate. 5 minute drive to downtown Macon eith lively restaurant, bar and music venues.

It is one of the most convenient places between Mercer University & the storage unit we had to store my college student’s belongings when the freshman year had ended It’s also right near the highway so expect the sounds of trucks & emergency vehicles

The reception was wonderful. The beds, all room amenities and the shower- all top quality and very clean and attractive. Closet was exceptional. Good coffee available in the lobby, which itself was spacious, with plenty of seating type options, including workstations, and very open and airy.

Bed was comfy and the convenience of the kitchen was great. TV did not work, reported but no technician on duty. AC was pathetic, didn’t always stay cool and difficult to figure out to use the hidden wall thermostat and not the one on the unit. Hated the half shower wall. Homeless person begging in front of lobby. I will never go back there.

This property was extremely clean and spacious.

Checking in was perfect. Room was nice. But by sleep time, the air handler was not working. Upon calling the desk, was told there was nothing to do ‘til morning and no other room available. We lived with the situation. Next morning, spoke with very capable young gentleman at the desk. He was able to replace the thermostat, replace a bathroom light bulb, and silence the screeming bathroom door.

Nice room. The shower did not work so had to insist on being moved to another room.

If you stay there, choose a room on back side of the property. Probably quieter.

Our two night stay was too short. This location was great. We were very happy with our room. The breakfast was delicious and staff was inviting. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Very convenient to visit the university

I can say it had a kitchenette. There was a pull out couch but really not all that impressed. We only stayed overnight to tour the nearby college, luckily. I wouldn’t have been anted to stay another night. The walls are thin. Hope your neighbor doesn’t decide to slam every drawer at 4:00 in the morning. You’ll hear that. People walking above us sounded like elephants. Loud music. Breakfast was good though. A lot of options.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff very friendly respectful helpful. I couldn’t ask for more. My stay was great. I would definitely recommend and would stay again in the future.

Convenience The room smelled like cigarette smoke

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were adequate. There was a few hairs in the tub and a dirty tissue was in one of the ice buckets. The stove was dirty in one of the rooms and the refrigerator door had some sort of prints on the front. The breakfast buffet was not great. The taste of the items was not good.

We stay here every year for Mercer’s Homecoming and it never disappoints!

Cheap but boring facility

Breakfast was a hot breakfast. The room was very clean, walk in showers were great too. We were attending an event at the Macon Colliseum and it was only about 7 min from there. Actually everything was quite nice and we didn't have any issues. We would stay again.

We enjoyed this stay very much. It was exactly what we wanted while staying to visit Mercer and attend the football game.

Overall, our stay was great. The pillow case had a yellow stain on it, so that was a bit disappointing. Everything else was good.

Requested to be in high floor as per my booking ahead of time but got room in first floor They said that they were not aware of this request

I wasn't able to stay because of Hurricane Helene and paid for a night i didn't use. It was too late to cancel the reservations.

We paid for the king 1bdrm suite when we got to room TV in bdrm was not working . Didn't have same rm type to move us to . So, we had to take a regular queen studio .I'm still waiting for manager to contact us about situation since the studio was less

More food options could be good and knowing when and if the rooms would be serviced would help Not enough food

The hotel is very clean and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and always greet you whether entering or leaving the premises. I will like to thank Barbara R. at Towne Place Suites Macon Georgia for her warm hospitality and going beyond the call of duty to ensure that I had a safe trustworthy driver from the hotel to the airport. It difficult at times being away from home with unfamiliar travel options and I'm grateful that I was in good hands after speaking to Barbara. Thank you Mam, (Guest 219😊)

That it was just 3 mins from the university that my child has decided to attend. And that it was frequently visited by the local PD because we traveled with all of the things needed to move into a dorm. And that it’s just a walks distance from places to eat & grab coffee. Like they were literally next door. It’s right off the highway so be prepared to hear car horns & the loud of engine of some crappy 18 wheelers.

We were welcomed with a smile and felt like we were appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Kitchen helped with keeping our lunch cold.

We’re giving it a low rating because you need recliners in the rooms for people with certain conditions.

It was an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfasts were very good. Very clean. I would have given it five stars except the mattress seemed old, was lumpy and uncomfortable.

we like the convenience and location of the property. staff was extremely nice. my only complaint was at check out when we checked out early and when I asked for a receipt, was told that it would be emailed to me because if I were to get it at that time, i would have to pay an early check out fee.

The place was clean. The shower was awesome. The staff very nice. The pillows were awful as well as the beds. A light bulb over the eating table exploded. Staff quick to respond and clean up the glass shards.

The dog area was small and not gates. But everything else was nice. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel itself was great the surrounding area of the college was clean but the area around those two places very dirty and run down.

This is a fairly new facility and in good condition. We liked our room, and the bathroom was quite nice. We only stayed one night, so my experience is limited.

Great stay with the exception of a masked frontal assault at the check in desk. An utter disgrace to me and our country. I have stayed several times, and understood the ignorance then but will never stay again given the continued insult on our Constitutional Republic!

Very nice and clean, check-in was easy, breakfast ends at 10. There are three to four restaurants in the same shopping area one has a live band. All are feet within the hotel. It also has a patio sitting area and an outside grill for the anyone who wants to use it. The check-out is at 12 for no additional cost! Thats a win for me.

Fire pit was wonderful. Hotel has 2 grill. Used one & hotel has grill utensils to borrow. Borrowed a fry pan & lid to cook with in room. Very limited games to borrow. Lobby is large & we used it to play games & chat. Hotel staff we interacted with were polite & very helpful. Great suggestions to. Hotel is right.off Hwy 75 near a college. Parking lot shared with resturants so options for dinning out.

It was OK. Not very sound proof as I could hear the residents next to me. Also, the smell of cleaning products was strong.

Location to college

This hotel is right on a university campus. Service was wonderful! But overall the condition of the hotel was not great. All of the walls in the hallways were badly scratched from luggage carts and the room furnishings were banged up quite a bit. This hotel is in need of a renovation. But I will reiterate that everyone that worked there was cheery and helpful throughout our stay.

The carpet powder smell was overwhelming!

They did not have the double queen bed room we booked. We were given a king w/a pullout couch- super cramped. Not even enough room to walk by when the sofa is out. We tried buying another room, but they were sold out. No extra blankets either. Our son is 6’4” so sleeping on a pull out is not possible. We rearranged sleeping arrangements, but it was not ideal to say the least. Both front desk workers were short & snappy, no help. We didn’t even bother w/the breakfast. Disappointed.

Property was nice, Staff was friendly. Walls throughout the hotel were extremely beat up from housekeeping carts. The hotel temperature was way to warm. I had the heat in my hotel turned off and the temp never dropped below 74 due to the temp from the common areas of the hotel that had t be at least 76. The breakfast needed a lot of help.
