Motel 6 Macon, GA – I-475

Room was very clean; well maintenaned. Fresh! Comfortable beds. One of the best Motel-6's I've stayed in, and I stay at a lot of them because of their pet policy.

Liked that they are pet friendly. The room was clean but there was an odor.

The bed was wonderful, I liked the walkin shower. Loved the price The curtains were too long. They would get in the way of the air conditioner and then they would blow out and then people could see, but I fixed it, and I had to rig it. The floor still had dirt on it. Needed sweep. They're also supposed to be a third lock there wasn't it was broke

They have an amazing front desk lady and her name is Recce. She’s very very friendly and very helpful and a sweet heart. I recommend %100 people to go and stay there. Very nice people to talk to and deal with. Nothing at all

It was very clean, the room was nice, I did have construction in front of my room being done but it was parking near by. The only thing is I wish they had some sort of breakfast but the little snack when you check in was thoughtful. Overall I would stay again.

I was given a room key that didn't work The staff activated the key to a room that was occupied by someone. Changed rooms It was a long aggravating process. There was a German roach in my bed dirt in beds. No microwave the 1st night.

Easy to pull into and parked right up next to our room! Room was nice for price and temperature was great. Staff was very friendly.

The room was clean, the bathroom could use some paint touching up but overall a decent place to stay. The location is convenient to lots or restaurants and stores(Walmart is less than a mile away). I wish the pool was open, it was 90° day and it would've been nice to take a dip. Also, since it's SO close to everything you get to hear early morning traffic(garbage trucks, deliveries, etc) not good, but there's nothing to do about that...

Clean and convenient. When we checked in the desk guy gave us a little bag with water and snacks! That was a nice touch!!

Unfortunately, the toilet tank made an on and off screeching sound all night, which, of course, did not happen when the manager came to check on it. Otherwise room was fine with good AC.

Most of the staff were rude, whenever asked for room service to not come to our room, because we work night shift, they still banged on the door waking me up, and whenever told I didn’t need room service the gentleman still tried to come into my room with my son and husband asleep.. just wasn’t a very good stay! The rooms were okay, for the price, but they definitely need to be thoroughly cleaned..

The bed room area was great. Clean and attractive. The bathroom smelled of mildew and had visible mildew stains. The door stuck to the bathroom and made a loud noise when opening. It woke my husband when I got up in the middle of the night.

I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much for the low price but was surprised at how clean our room was. The grounds were well lit and clean and felt safe. Front desk agent was very kind. If we ever pass thru again, we will definitely stop here!

First this was a place I use to be very found of and held the utmost respect for the clerks. To put it mildly I have never been so disrespected by staff the night clerk which I feel got really upset that he had to stop running his mouth and actually go some work. What a waste of space this guy is a modern day Uncle Tom. How have things changed when you have a hardship and not breaking the bank with these ungrateful people from abroad. Stayed here on overnite trip while travelling to Florida. Hotel was inexpensive, clean and covered all four needs. Would definitely stay again!

Picture aren’t 100% accurate. The first room smelled like smoke. Second room it was pot. The third room was fine. Then we woke up to two dead cockroaches on the floor that weren’t there the night before. The sheets had stains. But you get what you pay for. Don’t want this, pay more somewhere else.

The room smelled of mold when we walked in. There was mold everywhere around the room. The beds were moist and sheets where stained or just dirty. We did not stay and checked back out right away.

I was hesitant to book with the Motel 6 as they tend to be cheaper and the “get what you pay for” mentality was guiding me but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to a few restaurants. I did not stay for the breakfast so I can not speak on that but I would stay again

We stayed there twice one on our way down to Florida and once on our way back. On our way down, we checked in at 5 PM and we were put in a room a couple doors down from the office in the front and it was a pretty nice room nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The ice machine at the place didn’t work, which was a bummer and there’s no coffee machines in the rooms. on our way back the woman who greeted us was super friendly and even gave us a welcome bag with a bottle of water and a cookie and some chips which we thought was really nice. We didn’t get that the first time. But we were put in a room at the back of the hotel facing the pool room 116 and the door wouldn’t shut properly. There was a big crack in the door when you shut it, you couldn’t put the deadbolt on so we had to put a heavy suitcase against it so the door would shut. However, when we first got into the room and didn’t notice that the woman at the front desk called to make sure everything was OK and told us to enjoy our stay. whoever she was, she was excellent great customer service! But this room stunk and it smelled like weed. Also, around 4 o’clock in the morning some guy in a truck that park next to us was revving his motor like you would not believe so that’s why I say I think the area around there isn’t very good and we’re probably never gonna stay there again.

The ppl here are very inexperienced. They can't handle customers with request and can't handle criticism to the point of kicking you off the property of they don't like what you say. IN need of new management and the family that works there is rude.

Why do they charge a 50. deposit for "breakage" and when you check out, they don't even check the room. How do they know I didn't break anything. I think they should have to do a walk through when I am ready to leave. They could go into the room and break something after I leave,and say I did it. Not a good practice!

Motel 6 is usually known for the ability to stay with your furry friends. My wife and I own 3 service dogs and one emotional support dog. Never once tried to hide them and made sure to let the office know. After a week of staying and paying, The Assistant General manager Dafani calls the manager to complain about the dogs. 2 of my service dogs go with me to work every day and no one has had an issue with any of them. While I’m at work the manager threatened to remove my wife, with my newborn, forcibly from the room unless we paid for another room. So I rushed out of work to deal with the situation, manager was nowhere to be found “on the way”. It’s enough stress to lose work time but having to deal with ignorance of federal ADA guidelines is unacceptable .

My husband and I tend to travel a lot with that comes our infant baby girl ,3 service dogs and an emotional support dog, do to this being a motel 6 witch we always stay with because our fur baby’s they don’t give off that pet friendly environment that motel 6 usually gives ,we are not satisfied with the fact they aren’t really pet friendly here ,they need to do better with there pet and service animal that stay my husband is a former US marine with PTSD who needs he’s service dogs I myself was assaulted 4 years ago with a deadly weapon witch resulted in PTSD witch prompted me to get an emotional support animal as well ,long story shot the motel 6 that we are us to never make us feel uncomfortable or unwanted this location will make you feel like that don’t recommend to anyone traveling with a service animal or emotional support animal ,this location also charges you more fees when you arrive that are not mentioned when you book through hotels

I booked a Baymont only to find it had been changed to a Motel 6 and no breakfast!

There were fees not advertised on the hotel.com site and that were not told to me by the staff. The only way I found out was by reading 1 tiny paper that was almost hidden out of sight behind a plant. Good thing I did go out of my way to read it because I would’ve been charged $100 extra for my dog. Although even then I was charged extra for the additional person ($10 a night) and $20 a night for my dog. All in all i paid $300 on the sight and then $290 when I arrived. This room was not worth the price I’m sorry. Additionally it seems as though the staff is playing a game to keep your deposit as all the furniture was barely put together and wobbly, it was bad enough that i chose to just keep all my belongings on the floor so as to not be blamed for the inevitable.

Hotel has yet to refund my 50 dollar deposit..i was told by hotels.com yhe deposit would only be 10 dollars..was charged 10 for deposit then refunded thr 10 and charged 50. Wth? And they havent returned my 50 dollars. We dont smoke ,the room was not overly messy, therefore my deposit should be returned. When you're told that your deposits going to be one thing. And then they change it at the hotel. That's not good business.

Staff was awesome

The room was fine. Nothing special. Ice maker was broken. The breakfast was the worst I’ve had in a long time. Instant oatmeal packets, bananas, a few pieces of bread, cereal and a waffle maker. No bagels, apples, juice, let alone any hot food. No decaf coffee. No sugar options besides Splenda…… ugghhhhhh. Spend a little more, especially if you want to get an actual “breakfast.”

Clean room and very friendly staff.

When we arrived, the desk clerk had locked her self out, and boy we had to wait until she could get over the desk to check us in. Also, I thought the room was shabby and could use a facelift but for a one night stay it wasn’t bad at all. I would never want to stay there more than one night though.

The property is dated, but the interior of the room is clean and looks good. Great value for the cost! Staff is very friendly.

The rooms that my Family and I used where pet friendly. Nice size rooms and comfortable, great price. It was big enough for a chair or two with a small eating table. Wish the pool area was available during our stay. Make other arrangements for breakfast, it was not open during aleast 1 of the hours to be served. Staff was very helpful. Make sure you check to have extra toilet tissue in your room.

Overall, you get what you pay for! It was mediocre.

Hotel was clean. Not a lot of breakfast options.

When I asked for Kleenex I received shower caps. When I asked for regular coffee I received decaf. A hot breakfast should be served at ALL Wyndham hotels for the price. The parking situation was good and the room was clean.

The continental breakfast offerred was very poor. Not worth the bother.

Front desk woman was very pleasant

The rooms had been redone. New vinyl flooring and bedding was nice. The breakfast was okay, not much there and only half and half for creamer choice, I know the fire alarms work, our building was woke up with flashing lights and loud sounds at 2am. Someone in the building was smoking a lot and set off the alarms. I would stay again.

They didn’t have my reservation and then they booked me for a higher price

My towel ripped in half and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall. Check in after hours is through a tiny slot in the plexiglass. The beds were comfortable and shower hot. But we were concerned about the area ( locked lobby) and didn’t sleep well. Breakfast was extremely skimpy and not I stocked. People came looked and went to McDonalds next door

It was clean and comfirtabke. We like being able to park at our room and happy you are dog friendly. Rooms are sparsely furnished and somewhat stark. Could use a table and chairs. The sound proofing is not good. Their was a lot of noise from the room above us.

Nice clean updated room with fridge and microwave, comfortable bed, easy parking right next to the door, friendly accommodating staff and easy check in. Highly recommend 👌

Would definitely stay here again. Clean, quiet and in a wonderful location next to anything and everything you would need.

Unexplained charges to the room I was not notified about. I contacted the property multiple times and was told the manager would call back. Still waiting. Was told it was a pet fee. My pets did not stay with me- they stayed with a relative who dropped them off before we checked out. They were not in the room- we put them in our vehicle, loaded our things, and checked out. The manager was lurking around that morning. All he needed to do was ask or say something, especially when we handed the key to him at checkout. RIDICULOUS and COWARDLY! Too bad we visit this relative frequently- they just lost a regular customer!!

Cheap and clean room

The clerk that checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Very clean rooms and the outdoor pool was just what we needed after a long day in the car.

I loved that there wasn't any carpet on the floors and the beds were comfy

What I didn't like when I ask the housekeeper to put clean towels and extra trash bags in my room she said she was in her last room and she was off for today and my area outside had a terrible bad plumbing order outside and my shower was stopped up and back up Into the tub I asked for draino no service there I was a stay over for 3day and was told someone should have told me I be picking up my own towels and sheets and taking my own trash to the dumpster never experienced anything like this before the room was clean far as stuff from the last person left in the drawers there was a bar of soap at the top of the shower deteriorating could have been a lot better I love that the front desk was very helpful on my arrival she assist me straight to the hotel and very patient during my arrival thank you for this time
