    Easy to access. Big rooms. Had King suite and was perfect for me and 2 16 year old boys. They slept in full size living room. I slept in king bedroom. Breakfast was delicious! 11 am check-out was nice! Figuring out the TV

    The breakfast was very nice. Eggs, sausage and potatoes, fruit muffins, bagels yogurt, juice, coffee etc. There was something for everyone. The room was quiet and comfortable. I have always wanted to stay at a LaQuinta Inn and it exceeded my expectations. ?

    Young lady working around 4pm was so very nice, polite, helpful, and very professional. Give her a raise. Loved that the location was pet friendly. And you couldn't tell by the rooms that pets had been there. Very clean for the most part, just a little hair and dust in the corners. But beds and bed clothes were very clean and comfortable. I would have rated higher. It's just that everything was just like every other hotel. Spruce things up a bit and try and improve breakfast. I would stay here again, it's a better La Quinta than I've seen.

    2nd when the A/C in the room turned on, it sounded like a Jet taking off. 3rd The window faced the parking lot, the flood lights from the building next door,shone into our eyes all night. Since there was no darkening shade to cover the window. Carpets were stained and stunk. There were not hardly any guests, (very few cars in the parking lot). They're was NO reason to give us a room with all of those problems. Room ,#309. LA Quinta Macon. GA. West of hwy. 475. I really believe they're were other rooms available that didn't have these problems. Since this represents La Quinta. We'll NOT be staying at another La Quinta, on any trips. Sad for a place the reviews said had been remodeled. Disappointed traveler :-(

    I did not ask for a quiet room, but we did not have any issues with noise. My primary concern when booking at any property is that it is clean. This hotel was very clean. There were no signs of hair anywhere, no bugs, clean bedding and towels. I will book here again in the future. The hotel could use better vending. They only had one machine and it only had a few items. This may be due to construction. Not a game changer by any means.

    The hotel was lovely and newly renovated. The complaint I had was there was a large group of young people/students who were hanging out in the lobby all night…literally all night. Speaking loudly in a large group, a few doors down from our room. It kept us up. I guess this hotel doesn’t have quiet hours?

    Our stay here was good. The room was clean and newly renovated. It was nice that people with dogs got the same quality of room as those without pets, which we liked since we travel with our dog. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was simple but enough. Overall, a nice experience.

    There was a good hot breakfast -- eggs, bacon, ham, sausage and potatoes, and the coffee was good. I requested a first floor room which apparently are reserved for guests with pets. I didn't know that. Elevators make navigation easy enough; we just prefer ground floor accommodations.

    Easy check in. The staff was very friendly. My first visir to Macon. They helped with directions to different areas and restaurants. The room was very clean, quiet and had everything that was needed for a relaxing weekend.

    Group of young kids, making noise out in the hall on multiple occasions. I expressed my concern to the front desk staff on the night of March 31, 2026. Staff claims that they did not have the authority to ask the group to be quiet and consider the guests. Suspect quality of air conditioner. Just not what I would expect from $125 a night hotel stay.

    I've always felt comfortable booking at any La Quinta until now. I'm not sure how the La Quinta name is even on this place. Dirty bathroom mirror and backsplash, one coffee (altho we did ask and receive another at front desk but, really? One?), horrible shower, tiny shampoo, etc. that were not even full. Horribly dirty carpet in hall and esp by elevators. We do this route yearly so will be choosing one of the many other options in Macon West. This was disgraceful for a La Quinta.

    Property has been remodeled since our last visit , a year or so ago. Our room was very comfortable, the bed ideal and the furnishings in the room and bath were well designed. I do believe this is a work in progress, as the third floor remodeling was not complete.

    We checked in and we went to our room. When we opened the door we saw the beds had been slept in. Not made up. I told the receptionist and he said that couldn’t be true. I said it was true. He called someone on the phone and that person said it couldn’t be true. I went back to the room and the guy he talked to on the phone was there and he saw it was true. So he started to make the beds. He wasn’t going to put new sheets and bedding down. He thought we were going to sleep on used bedding! I told the receptionist that we wanted a new room with clean bedding! He finally realized we were telling the truth. If I hadn’t pre paid for the room we would have left!!! We will never stay at la Quinta again. We are seriously thinking about not using Expedia again. We have been using Expedia for at least 30 years. How can they do business with a company that would remake a bed without putting down clean sheets!

    We checked in and we went to our room. When we opened the door we saw the beds had been slept in. Not made up. I told the receptionist and he said that couldn’t be true. I said it was true. He called someone on the phone and that person said it couldn’t be true. I went back to the room and the guy he talked to on the phone was there and he saw it was true. So he started to make the beds. He wasn’t going to put new sheets and bedding down. He thought we were going to sleep on used bedding! I told the receptionist that we wanted a new room with clean bedding! He finally realized we were telling the truth. If I hadn’t pre paid for the room we would have left!!! We will never stay at la Quinta again. We are seriously thinking about not using Expedia again. We have been using Expedia for at least 30 years. How can they do business with a company that would remake a bed without putting down clean sheets!

    We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Inn and Suites. It is easy to access, right off the I-75. It was clean and staff were courteous. It is in need of some modernizing/updating but there was a sign in the elevator that they have plans to do so.     Eventually, we were moved to the correct room — only for strangers to walk in shortly after, explaining that they had also been assigned the same room. This was apparently the second time that day the hotel had given out an already occupied room. About 30 minutes later, the same gentleman from the front desk came to our room and demanded to see my ID. I verified my name and even showed him the key card with the room number he had written on it. He then tried to take my ID back to the desk, which I refused. When he asked me to write down my information instead, I declined further assistance due to his rude and aggressive behavior. By this point, the situation had delayed us and made us late for our scheduled engagement. When we returned to the hotel later that night, exhausted, our key cards no longer worked. It was midnight, and we had to go back to the front desk again. Thankfully, the night clerk was courteous, apologetic, and quickly resolved the issue. I have no doubt that our key cards were deactivated intentionally by the original clerk, who handled the entire situation unprofessionally. His attitude, lack of preparation, and unwillingness to take responsibility made for a terrible experien

    There were a few ants in our room and the weed smell from the room next door was annoying. Hotels need to find a way to get a hold on people smoking pot in their rooms. No smoking means no smoking, period. Kids don't deserve to walk by a room a breathe that in. Otherwise, stay was fine.

    Stayed 1 night. The carpet was very wet in first room assigned. Desk clerk (manager/owner?) was quick to move us...that carpet was wet also but not as much as first room. We were on 2nd floor which may have been renovated. When we stepped off elevator there was a horrible pungent smell of food cooking in hallway. Thankfully we couldn't smell it in the room (if so we would have left). It appears the owner/manager may live there. There was something not quite right there, even kids sensed it. Wouldn't stay here again.

    The reason for my poor review were a combination of a few things. First and foremost, my room was clean, and it was obvious they had made a significant upgrade or renovation. However, the hallway had a very bad smell due to lack of ventilation and the very dirty carpet that obviously requires shampooing. Their amenities were also poor. The gym was not functioning and pool looked old. Lastly, on Sunday my last day of check-out, the breakfast was horrible. The waffle machine broke down, the heated tray for the bacon and egg was also down. They did not seem to bother to explain to the guests. When I asked for new towels, the employee at the desk asked me to go look for the housekeeper on the floor to get some. he didn't seem bothered that it was his duty to help me out. All these bad customer service flaws just marred my beautiful stay.

    We had an issue with the breakfast, it served between 6 & 9 AM, we arrived with my wife at 7:30 AM, there was no scrambled eggs, just a little left in the pan and were cold and had not been replenished by the time we left, the toaster was not working, wife likes toast with jam, the coffee pot was empty, had to choose decaf that I don’t drink. It’s a shame as we have used this hotel many time on our trip to Florida. Will have to find new location next year.

    We booked last minute during an extended trip. Arrived at 1 am easy check in very friendly host. Got to room on 3rd floor. Key didn’t work. Had to go get another but 3nd time it worked. Room was super clean, bed comfy, ac worked fantastic. At 8am a dog began barking, and barking, and barking and ya still barking…turned on tv pretty loud but could still hear the barking. Decided to just get up go to breakfast only to find out there wasn’t any. The lady doing the cooking said power kept going out all morning. It looks like there was breakfast early morning but at 8:15 she was packing everything up. A manager came down and said there’s power… No more food got cooked even though it ended at 9 am. Pretty disappointed. I know it’s not an amazing breakfast but purposely booked this hotel to have breakfast for our grandson before hitting the road. Based on the dog situation and breakfast, I’d pass on another stay here. If you don’t care about those things it was a great stay.

    The room was clean. It's a hotel, the room is SUPPOSED to be clean, so what? The reason I payed more for this place is the pool, which was more like VERY cold foggy bath water in a disgusting room. There are notices throughout the entire hotel claiming that they are doing renovations, but I saw no sign of any such thing, not even workers or anything. This pool area was completely filthy and disgusting, and hasn't been touched in months. I'll never be back, and I urge anyone else looking at this place to find somewhere else.

    The room was a pleasant surprise—much larger than expected! It offered plenty of space, a big TV, a spacious seating area, and extra chairs for added comfort. The bathroom was clean and well-kept, with unlimited hot water, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was good with continental offering.     Our room was so nice. Super clean. Very spacious. Wood laminate and very nice. The ceilings were very high making the room feel even bigger. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was good. The lady who checked us out wasn’t the most friendly person but that’s ok. We only had one pet and when I checked in online it charged us for two and I couldn’t change it. I told the lady at the desk. She said she changed it but the charges for the hotel haven’t gone through yet so we don’t know if it’s going to be right. We checked out the 5th of may. Had a small yard to walk our dog. Quiet. Easy parking. Overall very happy.

    The pool area needs to be fixed and look better. There was rust and not enough chairs in the area for an indoor pool. The whole thing needs to be remodeled.

    Hotel was in a great location, plenty of places to eat nearby, very quiet considering it is so close to the interstate, no traffic noise in the room at all. Check in was great, very clean and comfortable.

    We still had 2 more days of driving to get home.!! Also the floors so thin that we could hear people walking in the room above us starting at 5am! Terrible. Want to be replaced imbursed for my sleepless night.!!

    Check-in and out was easy. Bathroom was very clean and bright (which I like). It was in the middle of renovations but it was hard to tell what was going on with that the days I was there. The hallways were warm and the AC in my room never truly felt cold. Also, there was only 1 vending machine for drinks in the whole place. It only took cash and drinks were $4 each. That was inconvenient when I only had a card and didn’t want to leave the hotel for a bottle of water.

    Lovely property in excellent condition. Dog walking area is ample and well maintained. Beds and room were comfortable. Several dining options within a few miles of the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with hot and cold options. Would definitely stay again.

    The room was not cleaned properly. You can tell they didn’t vacuum and there was hair around the edges of the tub and on the desk area. Walls around hotel and in bathroom were dirty. We tried to go to the pool and the door wouldn’t work…then they told us it was closed…I asked why and they said for cleaning. I asked when it would reopen and they said it wouldn’t. Whole reason we booked this one was for the better reviews and pool. Then we go for food, area is sketchy with random people walking through lots and it appeared there were squatters in a hotel they are building down the street. Upon returning from the food run they tell us the pool is now open. Kids were excited to we head down after eating, but had to go in a back way..it had no pump on, rusted doors, two chairs and no towels. Told the kids, umm no way. We slept horribly due to a random ticking from the air conditioner unit every time it kicked on. They also ran out of a lot of the food at breakfast by 8:15 and said they didn’t have any more…on a Saturday. We gave this hotel a chance, but would not stay at another Wyndham after this experience.
