The external was nice and the lobby was clean. Once we moved rooms, the room was fine. The bed was comfortable. A staff member granted our room change request, which was much appreciated. Some of the staff was cold and unwelcoming. Our first room was completely unacceptable. It was FULL of ladybugs. 1-2 ladybugs we could deal with. But they were on the beds, in the curtains, on the floor, the lamps, the walls. Any bug infestation in a hotel is unacceptable. We were also immediately next to a train that made frequent trips. We requested a room change and thankfully received a new room. It had no ladybugs and was quiet, so we were relieved. But even then there were unacceptable quirks, like the fact that the air conditioner was controlled by a remote that had dead batteries. And you had to get up, stand directly in front of the TV, and point the remote to the center of the TV in order to change a channel. I guess because of where the cable box was located? Just annoying things like that.

We specifically booked this hotel because of the marketing of the indoor pool. Our six year old asked to stay at a hotel with a pool for her birthday. We got to the hotel to find out the pool is closed, no reason given, and looks fine. When we asked again, we were told that it was under construction, although it’s not. The countertops on the cabinets and the table in the room had not been wiped, there was sticky residue left over from another person, staying there before us, and there was dirt on the floor. The shower floor looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. It is a nice hotel, but we were very disappointed overall. Do not book for the pool!!!

Comfortable room, decent location It is being renovated, there really is not a restaurant/bar as we thought, it is a conference room

Clean convenient and comfortable. No TV room service and electronic blinds were horrible.

The room smelled a little weird, but in general was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pristine with a beautiful, large tub. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was located in a quiet part of town. I got great sleep. We booked the hotel specifically for the indoor pool and found out upon arrival that it was out of service. There were parts of the hotel (namely the lobby) where the air conditioning didn't work, and they were running big, loud industrial fans. Upon speaking to a staff member, I found out the air conditioning had been broken for seemingly months, and there was no effort to fix it. It made me feel a little uneasy as I was checking in. I also spent a lot of money for one night and was surprised to find out that I had to pay for breakfast.

Even With All The Renovations Going On My Stay Was Amazing! Definitely Will Be My First Choice When I Travel Again !

Hotel under renovation- pool CLOSED and breakfast unavailable. This was not communicated at any point until we checked in. We traveled with small children and selected this location for the pool and breakfast. We requested a discount, front desk offered a 20% discount but then didn’t know how to enter it. Room had a horrible smell, pool was closed due to Health Inspector concerns, breakfast buffet was a room with hot plates, towels were a rare commodity, everything was new and cheaply done.

Was under construction so there was no bar or breakfast area. Also did away with the continental breakfast. For 185 a night the least i should get is free breakfast.

The property was clean and the front desk staff was great. The housekeeper came to my room at 10 am and asked that my wife and I let her clean the room because she wanted to go in order. I told her we were getting our items together so we could leave and could she come back at check out time and she said no that she goes in order. We reported her to the front desk and they apologized for her rudeness.

Specifically looked for locations with indoor pools so my family could swim and let out some energy after being in the car all day. Elevator was having probelms during out stay. There was a wait rime of about 20 minutes to check in with only 1 receptionist. One of the rooms next to use was smoking weed and we could smell i through the vent. Also the railroad tracks are right behind the hotel and goes by late at night super loud.

I made my reservation and paid for that reservation through Expedia. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told I couldn't check in because their "system was down", no alternatives given, no timeframe, not helpful, basically was told "I don't know what to tell you, it was like this when I arrived" by the front desk staff. The staff was extremely helpful when we asked to change rooms because a train runs behind the propery and our room was right next to the tracks. The continental breakfast was very disappointing. Not to the standards of HI Hotels that i usually stay at. The bed was so uncomfortable.

It's a really fine property, but it's time for an upgrade for several things. In today's market, I expected bedside charging options, an extra blanket, and an active restaurant and bar. Also, the hallway temp was arctic but told that the general manager was the only one with a key to the room with the thermostat.

The staff was very welcoming and made sure that we were comfortable. After we got settled in went to the lounge and had a glass of wine where the bartender was extremely nice. Enjoyed talking with her and she made sure that we enjoyed ourselves.

Not too terrible for us since we brought a white noise machine for our kids and were able to drown out some of it. Cleanliness: it for sure could have been cleaner, but wasn't the worst I've seen. There was breakfast included, which saved our stay. It was good, plentiful, and hot.

We had a room with two queen beds and the sounds on the springs were so bad that we ended up purchasing ear plugs to help us sleep. Metal on metal sound every time you move on the bed. Just terrible.

Check in was prompt and Friendly. The room was basically clean. The bath room needed more attention. The tile floor in the shower needed a better cleaning. The "do not r....." sign for the door was missing . I brought this to the attention of the night clerk, but nothing was resolved.

The only thing I would complain is the breakfast, which was OK as I mention before. Saturday they should serve till 10:00am, 9:20 food start to disappear and 9:40 they put everything away, If u serve by 10, it don’t mean stop serving at 9:30!!!!!!

I also enjoyed seeing the kids in the indoor pool having fun with family and friends as I parked my car in a well lit area. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Area is very nice with lots of things to do. Stayed on the second floor, looked like they had a flood. Flooring in room was pealing up. Hotel was on the noise side. Right next to the train tracks and could easily hear your upstairs neighbors.

Staff extremely nice and helpful. Area is very nice with lots of things to do. Stayed on the second floor, looked like they had a flood. Flooring in room was pealing up. Hotel was on the noise side. Right next to the train tracks and could easily hear your upstairs neighbors.

I was not pleased with getting a room with full sized beds when I requested queen size. The lighting in the room was dim due to the removal of table lamps. One bed was poorly made.

Staffs were very friendly room was very clean and comfortable breakfast was delicious my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again soon

I've stayed at this location several times. The hotel and the rooms are nice. Service was great. There is a train that runs behind the hotel that is certain to wake you but otherwise a great place to stay in Macon.

Desiree at the front desk went out of her way to make sure I got to room without discomfort.i am disabled and all the handicapped spots were taken. There were not open spots within 200 yards of the entrance. She took pity and allowed me to park into front under the entrance awning. That kind of kindness and empty will be remembered. Thank you, Desiree

They really need to get the elevator fixed. The pool was also cloudy. Front desk was awesome!

Check in. Key didn’t work for 3 tries. Clerk was very unfriendly. One elevator out of order. TV doesn’t work. Asked for help and never got it. No coffee. Room was half cleaned. Quite frankly about as bad an experience as I’ve had at a hotel.

When we checked in we were given a room that had not been cleaned. The gentleman behind us was also given a dirty room. When we went down to correct the error there was no apology or attempt to make it okay. The second room was okay, but we had lost confidence by then. I took my daughters out on the patio to play

Needs an overhaul. Approximately 14 people stayed in the room close to us. Only two baggage carts available for the entire hotel. Hair in the room in several places. Two hand towels and two wash rags but no bath towels. No bath mats. No coffee. Noisy! We won’t be back!

The staff was never friendly. Never said good morning or thank you, just dismissed you and felt like they wanted you out as quickly as possible. The room was gross, the floors were sticky, behind the night stand looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. We were just passing through so we just wanted to sleep for a few hours but would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

Poor internet, loud noises from hallway, housekeeping coming by at 6pm?, dirty towels

Pool was slimy, TV broken, remote batteries dead, alar clock busted, No Blow dryer, shower drain slow water leaks onto floor creating fall hazard. Breakfast is a grab bag, due to covid this was not advertised. Oh and he rate is usually 101$ according staff!! So my first time using expedia SUCKED!!

The ac sounded like we had a lawn mower in the room. The mattress sagged in the middle so I kept rolling down hill. The room is next to the train tracks so starting at 2:30 am I counted 8 trains going by. Terrible sleep.

10 trains went by our hotel room need i say anything more.

Had a horrible experience the bathtub was stained and had no Matt slipped and fell the floors in the room we’re all warped and peeling off pieces of glue everywhere also dirty floors with previous occupants nails and dirt everywhere no coffee for the coffee machine and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag set everything to the person on duty at the front desk on my way out and all they did was wrote it down and said thank you

Did not get the room I requested and reserved. Breakfast/Coffee was late. Staff doesn't start preparing until time to serve it.

Very nice clean hotel that’s minutes from downtown with lots of restaurants nearby. The only disappointment was the pool. We were expecting a typical hotel pool and this was more of a glorified wading pool. It would be great for small children but not so great for our teenager.
