    The external was nice and the lobby was clean. Once we moved rooms, the room was fine. The bed was comfortable. A staff member granted our room change request, which was much appreciated. Some of the staff was cold and unwelcoming. Our first room was completely unacceptable. It was FULL of ladybugs. 1-2 ladybugs we could deal with. But they were on the beds, in the curtains, on the floor, the lamps, the walls. Any bug infestation in a hotel is unacceptable. We were also immediately next to a train that made frequent trips. We requested a room change and thankfully received a new room. It had no ladybugs and was quiet, so we were relieved. But even then there were unacceptable quirks, like the fact that the air conditioner was controlled by a remote that had dead batteries. And you had to get up, stand directly in front of the TV, and point the remote to the center of the TV in order to change a channel. I guess because of where the cable box was located? Just annoying things like that.

    We specifically booked this hotel because of the marketing of the indoor pool. Our six year old asked to stay at a hotel with a pool for her birthday. We got to the hotel to find out the pool is closed, no reason given, and looks fine. When we asked again, we were told that it was under construction, although it’s not. The countertops on the cabinets and the table in the room had not been wiped, there was sticky residue left over from another person, staying there before us, and there was dirt on the floor. The shower floor looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. It is a nice hotel, but we were very disappointed overall. Do not book for the pool!!!

    Our room had been deodorized with a spray called Blunt. This is a deodorizing spray normally used in cars. It is very concentrated and also has CBD oil as an ingredient. It caused our eyes to burn and coughing. We were moved to another room, thank goodness. We discussed this with the manager on duty the next morning and she informed us that this spray had been used. Otherwise we would not have known what was going on. She apparently was aware that the cleaning staff had used this spray. We won't return to this Holiday Inn.

    The room smelled a little weird, but in general was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pristine with a beautiful, large tub. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was located in a quiet part of town. I got great sleep. We booked the hotel specifically for the indoor pool and found out upon arrival that it was out of service. There were parts of the hotel (namely the lobby) where the air conditioning didn't work, and they were running big, loud industrial fans. Upon speaking to a staff member, I found out the air conditioning had been broken for seemingly months, and there was no effort to fix it. It made me feel a little uneasy as I was checking in. I also spent a lot of money for one night and was surprised to find out that I had to pay for breakfast.

    The property was clean and the front desk staff was great. The housekeeper came to my room at 10 am and asked that my wife and I let her clean the room because she wanted to go in order. I told her we were getting our items together so we could leave and could she come back at check out time and she said no that she goes in order. We reported her to the front desk and they apologized for her rudeness.

    Hotels.com listed nothing about the property being renovated and the pool being closed due to renovations. Booked this hotel as a halfway stopping point to break up a long drive. Specifically looked for locations with indoor pools so my family could swim and let out some energy after being in the car all day. The property sent a message saying they were having renovations, but mentioned nothing about the pool being closed. After driving all day we saw a sign that the pool was closed. Hotels.com needs to do a better job about getting accurate and updated information from the properties they list and their amenities since often people chose hotels based on the amenities they offer.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told I couldn't check in because their "system was down", no alternatives given, no timeframe, not helpful, basically was told "I don't know what to tell you, it was like this when I arrived" by the front desk staff. I had to go to another hotel after waiting and now this hotel won't return my money.

    We arrived after a long day of air and car travel to find one room key we were issued, no longer existed as they were doing renovations. The second room was an accessible room and the key didnt work so we went back to front desk where we were informed by the Manager (still on propety because the regional Director was there assessing the facilty) that they were full, except for the two of the three rooms we had confirmed via Expedia. Booking thru expedia made no difference and we were told as we left to find a new hotel, that we shouldnt have used a 3rd party to book as that always causes issues. So I cant tell you anything about the state of the rooms or propery other that Kenyetta and Damion were amazing as I had deliveries pre-scheduled. They went beyond the call of duty even though we had no rooms or stay there.

Booking thru expedia made no difference and we were told as we left to find a new hotel, that we shouldnt have used a 3rd party to book as that always causes issues. So I cant tell you anything about the state of the rooms or propery other that Kenyetta and Damion were amazing as I had deliveries pre-scheduled. They went beyond the call of duty even though we had no rooms or stay there.

    Aside from that, the room we were in was a stone's throw from the train track, and we heard the trains go past all night. Not too terrible for us since we brought a white noise machine for our kids and were able to drown out some of it. Cleanliness: it for sure could have been cleaner, but wasn't the worst I've seen. There was breakfast included, which saved our stay. It was good, plentiful, and hot.

    I enjoyed the young ladies who checked me in. I enjoy how beautiful and clean the hotel was. The Hotel really was beautiful. I also enjoyed seeing the kids in the indoor pool having fun with family and friends as I parked my car in a well lit area.     Desiree at the front desk went out of her way to make sure I got to room without discomfort.i am disabled and all the handicapped spots were taken. There were not open spots within 200 yards of the entrance. She took pity and allowed me to park into front under the entrance awning. That kind of kindness and empty will be remembered. The room was gross, the floors were sticky, behind the night stand looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile.     Pool was slimy, TV broken, remote batteries dead, alar clock busted, No Blow dryer, shower drain slow water leaks onto floor creating fall hazard.     Had a horrible experience the bathtub was stained and had no Matt slipped and fell the floors in the room we’re all warped and peeling off pieces of glue everywhere also dirty floors with previous occupants nails and dirt everywhere no coffee for the coffee machine and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag set everything to the person on duty at the front desk on my way out and all they did was wrote it down and said thank you

    Very nice clean hotel that’s minutes from downtown with lots of restaurants nearby. The only disappointment was the pool. We were expecting a typical hotel pool and this was more of a glorified wading pool. It would be great for small children but not so great for our teenager.
