The staff was super friendly. The facilities was very clean and a nice comfortable room. The ice machines were empty. I had to go all the way to the top floor to get ice other than that it was great.

We've stayed at this location many times because of the location. Key card system was down so we had to get a staff escort each time we left/entered our room. They were prompt and friendly, but still a nuisance. Mold/mildew in shower, room 104. Breakfast was great as usual and staff always friendly. See note above

They were very busy with a FFA convention. So lots of young people. Even so, everything ran smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and plenty of food to choose from. The room was very nice and clean. I would gladly stay there again.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It was easy to access and we felt like it was in a safe area. There were good dining options near the hotel. The breakfast was better than most. We found a little mold in the corners of the shower. The large lamp had a broken light switch which caused the room to be a little dark.

Hotel was fine but breakfast was basically non-existent. They kept saying more was coming out but it never did. They were out of all hot food, nearly all drinks, pancake mix… there was not much to eat besides dry cereal.

I’m purely writing this review because I base my choices when booking a room based off others opinions. This hotel was rated very highly and after choosing it for our overnight stay I’m really confused. At check-in the woman at the front desk I will say was very friendly, but besides that this hotel was not worth $150/night. Our room, #322, had a broken toilet seat, broken metal housing for the hand soap and lotion. The light on the mirror didn’t work. Half of the outlets in the room didn’t work. The room was cold and the thermostat was set at 72. We were told at check-in that rooms were not supplied with coffee makers, but that you could request one if you wanted or just get coffee at breakfast in the morning. When my husband originally went down to get coffee the coffee maker downstairs was not working. When we went down for breakfast it had started working so we were able to get coffee finally. The breakfast was standard for a Holiday Inn, so it wasn’t bad, but it definitely didn’t make up for all the other issues. The reviews have it rated a 9.2. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and unless we just got the one bad room in the whole hotel it does not deserve a 9.2.

It was easy access off the interstate highway with plenty of parking spaces. There were plenty of services including restaurants, retail and gas stations nearby. The hotel staff were welcoming, pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and quiet.

Very clean room, staff was very agreeable, was under remodeling but didn’t interfere with our visit. My only complaint was a/c was noisy and mattress was very hard and lumpy.

The paint on the ceiling was peeling and flaking onto the floor in one of our family members room. Staff did move them to another room though

Alexis at breakfast was absolutely wonderful and did a great job of keeping the hot plates full of food. Autumn at check-in was rude. I asked for a first floor room and was put on 2nd floor and told “there were elevator s. I just had knee surgery and couldn’t walk well. Only one ice machine on the 1st floor at the far end.

The room was good. Only issue was the staff neglected to look in the armoire - the previous guests put their used towels in there. I don’t even blame them, really - I mean, who does that with their hotel laundry?

This was truly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at (and I travel a lot!) I even asked them at checkin what cleaning supplies they use, it was that noticeable. Room air worked great; bed was comfortable.

This is our go to hotel when passing by. Sadly our room was excessively hot, the ac was blowing both warm and cold air. Our young daughter got food poisoning from the milk in the breakfast area. I did call the hotel to inform them of this incident.

Very nice, very clean property. Staff could not have been nicer- loads of smiles and “good morning”s every day at breakfast. Breakfast choices were terrific too! The best part was the ease of getting to and from I-75 (it’s literally right down the street.) No, it’s not perfect. It has a little wear and tear, but only minor stuff. For the quiet, comfy sleep, the friendly staff, the great breakfast, and the perfect location, I will definitely stay here next time I come to Macon.

Walked into room to high humidity and heat. So much that everything was damp. Asked to move rooms and the new room was in the same condition. The air conditioner in the “new room” was so loud no one got any sleep. I’ll be looking elsewhere for the trip back home.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, great shower pressure, for a nice hot or cool shower. The breakfast and set up in the morning in the main lobby was amazing. Hot omelets both vegetarian and cheese omelets, sausage both turkey sausage and pork sausages, hot biscuits and gravy, potatoes. Fresh fruit with apples individually washed and wrapped fresh bananas . Hot cinnamon roles, waffle maker, yogart, juice and the best coffee. Shine and Alexis we're responsible for the dining/food setup, kitchen and and keeping the place cleaned up and food refreshed. I am a high travel person previously for work and now retired. And I have never seen 2 ladies work so hard and with a smile, cheerfully greeting everyone. They made sure every table was wiped the minute somebody got up and sanitized. They were continually washing and mopping the floor in the service area. You do have to drive to get to a restaurant.

Basically overnight not stay did not use any of the amenities. It was good except when checking out at 6:00 AM no one was at the desk and there was a preprinted sign to call a number if we needed any help. Because it’s preprinted I can only guess this happens often

The definition of high quality and professional. This place is as clean as an operating room. If you value cleanliness, stay here. So many places are gross and don’t clean well, you can tell this place has extremely high standards. I appreciate that so much. I do not like being in other people’s filth. This place gets a 11/10. Had a wonderful stay. The room was great - very comfortable with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed breakfast both weekend mornings - selection was limited, but I think that was due to the attendant who wanted to keep the area as clean as possible ahead of time. Saturday she was counting down the minutes left of her shift in song, and Sunday she was praising the fact she would be off the next day. The food was good, though. Every other employee was pleasant and cheerful from check-in to check-out! We will return.

The new bedding is gorgeous but for two travelers the electrical outlets and seating around the desk are inadequate. Also, Expedia did not change my new credit card numbers so check in took a long time just to get that resolved.

The Hotel was very nice I have already told family and friends if they go through Macon, GA and need a Hotel to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Macon North. The service was great from check in to check out. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have had at a Hotel that offers breakfast with your stay in a long time. Just a very nice experience.

The next morning we attempted to have a hot breakfast. The biscuits, sausage, and eggs ran out almost immediately (around 8am, not that late), the pancake machine was broken, and the water dispenser wasn't working. Essentially, enjoy your cereal with milk and premade pastries. I had high hopes based on the reviews and our quick stay, but left disappointed.

Rocsana at the desk is very kind, helpful employee. Her demeanor at check in is exactly what people want to experience when they show up. She is a great asset to this property.

Property seemed a little unkept. Floors in the lobby needed to be mopped. There was hair on the bathroom floor and walls had stains. The bed pillows had a bad musty odor.

The hotel has great parking and it’s a nice building but the bathroom and room smell really bad!! I couldn’t sleep. The bathroom smelled like urine and bathtub has hairs. I will not rate this to be exceptional at all. It’s just a low good. Cleanliness should be number priority
