Courtyard by Marriott Macon

Hotel is ok but not great. Air didn’t work well at all. Hotel room was hot and stuffy during stay. Not maintained great. It was ok but not great.

There was no breakfast provided.. thats a little on the down side, but aside from that, everything was perfect The breakfast.. Something could have been arranged within budget. I don't think it costs that much.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Old hotel. Needs an update. Carpet in the room was sticky and shower was hard to figure out. Old old fixtures. This is not a complaint but A train goes by the property several times in the night and blows the whistle about six times. We did not get a good nights sleep. I would not recommend

First time I’ve ever checked into a hotel and had to switch rooms. The first room (queen bed with a sleeper sofa for 3 of us) was tiny compared to an interior cruise cabin. Also the door would not open. My husband had to shove the door open with his shoulder. When we checked in the front desk was working off of a print out of who was in what room. I wasn’t thrilled that the lady working the front desk made a copy of my credit card.

Clean, comfy rooms and beds. Delightful staff. Check in with Barbara was wonderful. We didn't partake of the breakfast but, I didn't see a breakfast buffet.

Front desk clerk was helpful -- accommodated our request for first floor room. But the room was not clean. Had to go back to front desk get another room. Oven was broken at bar/restaurant. Ice machine not working. Bathroom fixtures need updating. TV signal was fuzzy. Property needs renovation. Not usual marriott standards.

Our room was clean and in good condition.

We had a basic oatmeal and fruit breakfast and it was delicious. Have not eaten steel cut oats before and it had a good texture. No complaints, the room was clean, comfortable, and warm, since we were in the midst of a storm when we arrived.

But included breakfast was a disappointment. No buffet just order from one guy making coffee fir Starbucks. We went yo Cracker Barrel

The location was good Bathroom in room 332 needs refresh, tub was not used it needed a reglaze was dirty. Had to sit on side of tub to bathe! We went out and purchased bleach. We expected an exhaust fan in bathroom...This hotel you can see is old and things to be brought up to code.

I literally had to listen to the people above my room pace the floor, (my ceiling) all night long..every time they got up I got to hear everything.... Don't stay in this hotel unless you are on the 3rd floor....

The room was clean, but the hotel ran out of drinking water the first night. On the second night, they ran out of lettuce, so I couldn’t order the salad I wanted. On the third night, the remove my clean towels, so I have to use the ones I used the last 3 days.

The staff was friendly. The room was ok, but the bed sheets were rough and had a strong smell of laundry chemicals.

Due to a “senior moment”, we left a couple of things behind in the room after we checked out and were 100+miles down the road. The staff graciously retrieved our possessions and held them for us while we doubled back.

Unbelievable that we were expected to pay to refresh our coffee. The breakfast had more oil than the local racetrack. There is no reason to pick this hotel as a place to stay while there are many options nearby.

Modern updates in lobby. Room decor felt early 1990s. Upside(somewhat), body wash dispenser in shower was empty or the pump broken. Requested service and was was addressed for the second night's stay. All said, the stay was just okay.

Location was good, rooms were decently comfortable. Our air conditioned did not work properly and we had to switch rooms mid- stay. Hallways smelled strongly of marijuana. There was a musty smell in the room.

Stay was fine. Just received my receipt and they put someone’s bar tab on my room…we never even left our room until we departed the next morning. Now I have to spend my time calling and requesting a $60 refund for their administrative error.

The hotel is in a quiet setting, though with quick access to many shopping and dining options. The staff was professional and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable — and quiet! The pool was refreshing, though small and with several tiles missing on the sides. Overall, we’re likely to return.

Noticed side door did not require a key to access and could be propped open without issue. Could be a future safety issue.

There was some confusion about the room, I had requested pool view ( it was in my reservation) but instead I got an opposite side of the hotel. So after going all the way to the 3 rd floor, I had to return to the desk. I was told that I might have to wait on a room.

I've stayed here before & it's been wonderful both times. The staff is super friendly, and hotel is clean & comfortable. Ample uncovered parking; it's close to a grocery store, plus several dining options, ranging from chains to some really great independent restaurants within 10 mins of the hotel.

That evening we ordered 2 bistro burgers from the hotel restaurant that were terrible. If you're going to charge more than 100$ a night . You need to do better than motel 6 If youre going to charge 15$ for a burger.you need to be better than McDonald's PERIOD!!!

It was not a nice property for courtyard standards. Our room was freezing as AC was too low. Our windows were tugged up and you couldn’t see outside. Everything was gray (carpet, walls) and looked dingy.

Property is old. Overpriced for how aged it is. Carpets are stained. Elevator floor was sticky. Elevator stopped working and was old. Room was damp and musty. Staff and coffee bar were great.

We have stayed here several times when we come to Macon and this time it wasn’t pleasant. The bathroom was not clean I bring Lysol wipes so I reclean it. There is dark mold spots on the tub, the walls had dust on them. The refrigerator wasn’t work and when didn’t realize it until it was late my fiancé have to refrigerate his meds. The check in process and the Bistro was very pleasant it’s just the room cleanliness.

It was good for the price. Clean. Quick and easy and friendly, helpful check in.

The hotel also had a Starbucks coffee bar, and the barista there was wonderful. She was super helpful and made my morning coffee just right—definitely a nice touch to start the day. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It provided a relaxing and safe environment, and the location was very convenient for getting around the area. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the Marriott Courtyard Macon for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and great amenities!

Appreciated the onsite dining and bar after a 12 hr day. Bartender was outstanding. Very welcoming staff and a lovely fire in the lobby fireplace. Wished we could have stayed longer than a night.

This place was dirty and needs remodeling. Very nice workers but I couldn’t wait to leave. Also, no free breakfast.

Didn't have to go and find dinner, they had a good choice of food and after driving for 9 hours, this was the last thing I wanted to hunt for.

The place was nice and inviting. The lobby area was very clean and comfy. The best part was the breakfast and ladies that worked it. Very sweet and kind.

Also, this might be a strange thing to notice for most people, but their cleaning supplies leave things smelling fresh and clean without smelling like over-perfumed chemicals. I often get head-aches from strong chemical smells (like Fabuloso, for example). The cleaning supplies at this hotel leave a lovely, light, pleasant fragrance without being over-bearing and blindingly strong.

The lighting throughout the hallway and some locations in rooms need to be upgraded. Higher wattages.

You keep booking me accessible rooms and I am not handicap. Plus the water and shower was awful. No hot water and shower wand because it’s handicap hit me in the waist.

We stayed here on a road trip as a place to crash for 4-5 hours and take a break from driving. For that purpose it was okay but would not stay for extended period. Rooms were outdated, carpets need replacing, and walls need to be painted. Smelled old

Stayed on the first floor. Won’t stay on first floor again having somebody above you. People above us had heavy feet even stomping some at 2:15 in the morning and again at 4:30 am AND the floor was terribly squeaky every time they walked! Needless to say not real good sleep on a hard bed. Overnight road trip stay

It was a decent hotel. Stayed here on business. Everything was good, nothing was bad yet nothing was spectacular. If I had to complain, there was a slight smell but it seemed clean.

Emily at the front desk and the weekday breakfast staff are fantastic. Emily predicted our needs before I even had a chance to realize them myself on several occasions and was kind and courteous at all times. The breakfast staff were very helpful and had very positive and upbeat attitudes (and the food was also amazing). Thank you so much for the hospitality in a tough time (post-Hurricane) for our family.

We were surprised that no breakfast was offered with our stay, especially for the amount we paid for the room. We had to pay extra for the breakfast package if we wanted to eat the next morning before getting back on the road.

Property needs renovation. Elevator was broken. Room fixtures were coming off the wall. Small t.v.

This is a typical Marriot Courtyard hotel but the decor, facilities and styling are a few years out of date. Please don’t let that put you off. The people working there were so attentive and professional and our room was clean and well appointed. You probably wouldn’t want to walk to nearby restaurants etc as it’s a bit of a hike but 5 mins drive to loads of bars and restaurants. We only stayed one night on our travels so used the bistro and the food was absolutely fine and we were well looked after.

$5 coffee in lobby from a Socialistic Company, worse. But overall a nice stay

The room was wonderfully clean and the staff was exceptional, from the front desk to the bistro. The walls however were thin. There were a number of noises that marred my stay. I would stay there again however.

I was a little surprised that the facility seems dated. The carpet appeared dirty and the furniture in the room (couch and ottoman) was gross. I wouldn't set on it. Everything else was good. GREAT staff! Very helpful and pleasant.

My family and I stayed here for about 3 days for a family reunion. The hotel was quiet. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfy. The hotel actually exceeded my expectations. I wish we had a chance to visit the bar and the pool. I would recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The day and night staff were very pleasant.

I also did not get to use the pool because it was shut down til two today and I had to check out by noon . I needed to swim for exercise .

My family and I were in town for my son’s graduation. This was conveniently located to the University, restaurants, and a mall. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional. I would stay there again.

In town for a concert in downtown Macon. The hotel was very conveniently located just north of town near the expressway. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and furnished very nicely
