Safe, easy parking. Friendly desk staff. Room was clean. A/C worked great!

Rooms are clean and cool but there is no elevator. There are vending machines for soft drinks and snacks. The buffet breakfast is good and filling, with fruit like oranges and bananas and waffles as well as scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy. Main restaurants are in downtown Macon, about 3 miles away. Adequate for 1-2 nights but not for a longer stay.

It was a great location. A quiet sleep, a large room, and breakfast came with a room. It was better than any we had had on the road for two weeks! The staff was very, very helpful! They also had a clean quiet pool in the courtyard and we enjoyed dipping in it, in the warm evening. Great stay!

Breakfast was very good. Initially, our room was next to a guest practicing his musical instrument. Rather disturbing. Then moved because my sheets weren't very clean in our original room.

Best complimentary breakfast ever! Beds are comfy, rooms are clean. This is the best place to stop and get some sleep on the way through from indiana to Florida! After last years stay my daughter requests the “breakfast hotel” when we are planning a trip. The sweet woman working the breakfast area is a gem as well.

This is an older property but it was very clean It had engineered hardwood flooring which I loved for cleanliness. It was up to date in every way needed to be clean & comfy but had the feel of a vintage 80’s hotel room. The most friendly staff. It was well monitored and as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. The value for the service and cleanliness was excellent. I have paid more $$ for newer nastier stays

We only stayed the night while traveling through. The place had a funny smell. Room felt dark and damp, we arrived well after dark. From the window we could see the outdoor pool and it looked nice. Breakfast was just meh; lots of options but it was all just ok, we decided to grab breakfast on the go out of town. Person at the front was extremely friendly and helpful.

The Front Desk Clerk was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. She explained where our room was by using a print-out of the facility, and told us to help ourselves to coffee in the Lobby. She also scheduled us a wake-up call. As added perks, they have a pool and Free breakfast. This facility is a little upscale, but the price is reasonable. Our stay was very calm and peaceful. Thank you, Best Western.

Breakfast was so-so. We went down for breakfast about 45 minutes before they stopped serving it. There were no pastries of any kind, the yogurt machine was out, and the sausage links were all gone. I did like that they had various fruit toppings for the waffles. It wasnt really a bad stay. I just expect more from the Best Western brand based on past experience and the cost. I would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Close to the Macon City Auditorium for concerts. Has a nice pool, friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. Could use a little updating but not in poor condition. This is my third stay and I never have any issues.

The king size bed room was large and bathroom was ok. The bed was comfortable and quiet area. Plenty of parking for large moving trucks which we had.

The bathroom was also clean, but was maybe the most crowded space in the room. The toilet paper dispenser was located way underneath the vanity, which was awkward to reach, but manageable. The water pressure was AMAZING and powerful, so much that it was almost too much for the tub drain. I return to Macon bi-annually for this same tournament, and will be staying here again.

She always makes a good breakfast and makes sure everything is stocked and ready to rock. Will be staying here again. The gym needs new treadmills. Wish the back porch lounge was open, but I know that has nothing to do with the actual hotel.

Everything was fine. From start to finish. Friendly staff members. Room was clean. Bathroom was small, but that was okay. The do not disturb sign was dirty, so I never touched it. Overall, the hotel was located in a convenient area with restaurants and gas stations near by. Would stay there again.

Toilet did not work and there was a literal party in the parking lot with teenagers and loud music and voices till 3:30am+ and our room seem to be right in the middle of it. Stayed the week before and everything was great. Just a complete 180 of the previous stay but we got through it with out incident and had to go to front lobby to use restroom.

Check in staff unfriendly and unwelcoming. Room was nice, breakfast was good.

Now they are claiming the hotel NEVER canceled the reservation, and when we called the hotel back, we were told there are “no notes in the system” and apparently no record of the conversation at all. Trying to resolve this with Hotels.com and the hotel has been a nightmare. Multiple calls, being transferred around, language barriers making communication extremely difficult, endless “so sorry for bad experience” responses, yet absolutely NO actual help or accountability from either side. The hotel says it wasn’t canceled, Hotels.com says the hotel never notified them, and meanwhile the customer gets stuck paying for a room they canceled TWO DAYS EARLY in person. Beyond the cancellation issue, the stay itself was not pleasant. The beds were hard as a rock and incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny you could practically touch the door while sitting on the toilet. You had to walk to another building entirely just to get breakfast. To top it off, the toilet clogged during our stay and nobody could bring it until the next morning. Don’t stay here!

We were very impressed! It’s an older hotel but was in excellent condition. It was well maintained, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. You get a big bang for your buck! 👍

You need an elevator for senior citizens.

Clean and comfortable room, hot breakfast with fruit, juices, coffee, grots, breads and jams, gravy, waffles... Easy close parking to entry doors. Very friendly staff and fast check in. I'll definitely stay there again for my Macon trips.

There was plenty of room for us to bring the fifth wheel camper into the property and it was very safe. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good as well!

This is an older hotel that appears to be kept up. there are some worn carpets but it was clean. Room was clean, air worked well, bathroom is small but can be worked around. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was warm and well stocked. I believe it was a good value.

We love to stay at this Best Western and we always do when we travel to Florida. The room was exceptionally clean and the check in was easy. The reception staff was welcoming and cheerful. Our favorite part is always the breakfast! The food is excellent! I always love their biscuits and gravy. But the best part of breakfast is the "breakfast lady". She has worked there a long time and prepares the food, ensures you have everything you need, and is cheerful and friendly! The dining area is spotless and beautiful. Thank you so much for an excellent stay! Nothing.

I stayed in this motel 9 weekends in 1998. It is still a clean and comfortable motel. The property is very nice and clean. I will be staying again if I have to be in Macon.

Where to start. No pool - wasn't aware. No secured WiFi. No elevator. Dogs all night long. Trains all night long. Lounge/rest. Closed - wasn't aware. Had no idea of the $50 gift card as wasn't asked at check in if members and offered it, went the next morning n was told too late since we checked in the night before. This is a nice place to stay for the money. I was very impressed and enjoyed my stay.

Front desk clerk was on at 9pm and 9 am and very polite, warm and professional and competent. Zero issues checking in. The rooms are divided amongst the property by sections A-E, each section having ample parking near the individual access doors and probably cut down on overall noise of guests in and out. We were in D and there may have been an elevator in the lobby area but did not see one in the section of rooms, at o my 2 floors it is not necessary but does mean you will likely hike the flight with luggage. Not complaint,just info.

Pleasantly surprised with my stay. Was going with the cheapest option in the area since it was a quick, overnight trip, but everything from the front desk, to the room, to amenities surprised me. The hotel is on the older side but the room was adequate for my stay.

We walked into a dirty room that smelled of cigarette smoke. Stains on the bed sheets, mold covering the bathroom ceiling and it looks like it has flooded because there was a waterline on the doors and walls that was cracked and peeling in places. The doors were especially rotted. Hair in the bathroom, dirt on the floors. It was shocking. We tried to switch rooms, but our other choices were just as bad. My daughter is asthmatic and suffered greatly because of the smoke smell. It was already 3am and we were so tired and there was no where else to stay. We slept on top of the beds without unmaking them in all of our clothes and left all of our luggage in the car in case of bed bugs. We didn’t shower or use anything in the room and got out right at daylight. Our dog was acting strange in the room and was very sick the next day. He died later that evening. We think he may have gotten into something that was on the floor in the room. It was an absolute nightmare and continues to be one.

The hotel rooms had a very musty smell. Although they appeared clean, they did not smell clean. Beds were very hard and pillows seemed to have minimal filling. The breakfast was good and more than enough and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming.

The front desk was friendly annd check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and appeared wll maintained. Breakfast was great and the make-it-yourself waffle were excellent. The breakfast hostess was one of the nicest people I have ever met. BEST deal ever.

The hotel advertised recent renovations, so my wife and I took advantage of a relatively low room rate as an incentive. As it turned out, only the lobby had been renovated; the rooms (or at least our room) had the same tired, worn-out look (and dank smell) as other Best Western properties at which we have stayed. Otherwise, there were dining options within a short driving distance, and breakfast in the morning was good.

The breakfast could use better eggs and sausage. The fruit was fresh. But the coffee was not good. Parking was good. The hotel needs some tlc. The floors were curling in the room. The steps were unclean and wood on the sides needed a good washing and fresh paint. They looked like someone didn’t know what the were doing when laying the carpet. And the hallways smelled. And the room smelled so much I had to pull the covers over my head The bed was comfortable.

This was a one night stop on our way to Blue Ridge GA. It was clean and convenient to I75. Glad it was pet friendly. The $20 pet fee wasn’t horrible compared to others. Limited green spaces to walk my dog. Would stay there again.

Room was clean, the only small problem was the bathroom, every time we showered the water from the shower would spill from the side of the curtain to the floor, despite having the shower curtains drawn properly.

Rooms were cleaned daily, which is good. The air conditioner was held together with duct tape. There was an evening when all the rooms in our floor had no hot water.

I was greeted pleasantly after arriving later in the evening. The room was decent for a quick overnight stay. The food options around are basically just an Applebee's but that worked for some quick apps before retiring for the night. This was a quick stay over in route to traveling to another destination, so it served its purpose. The complimentary breakfast wasn't too appealing, so I only opted for yogurt out the machine and a tangerine.

The entire property is covered in roaches. Roaches were in the beds, on the counters in the bathroom, and crawling on our toothbrushes. The staff were incredibly kind, but management is clearly not taking their responsibilities seriously.

I paid for 1 king accessible and we were also traveling with a small dog. We did not get a king. Was told they didn’t have a king available with pet. Then she announced loudly my room number and explained how to get to it. The hall carpet was dirty and torn. Bed was ok but pillows were flat. When I politely questioned all this was told nothing could be done.

The lobby was nice and the rooms were decent, but getting from the parking lot to the room was gross. Breakfast wasn't great so we skipped it. There was also not much room to sit. It's in a sketchy area, but the back parking lot was walled off so it was somewhat protected. There were a lot of people hanging around the back door when we tried to enter. Hallways were dim and carpet is worn down. Bathtub was gross.

Night staff received complaints about dog barking. The night staff was too aggressive in handling the situation. I’m sorry but dogs bark. She acted as if she was going to drag me out of the breakfast room. I was also a paying customer. I feel like once she saw I was black, she treated me rudely and disgustingly. Don’t start an argument with your guess. Also, don’t put non dog owners with dog owners. They pretty much kicked me out. Lied that the dog was barking all night which she didn’t. Nice hotel, I didn’t enjoy my stay unfortunately.

The food is OK toppings for the waffle. The breakfast area has an old smell to it so that area needs to be remodeled upgraded to enjoy the food that is being provided for us. Why we asked our will stay. The rooms are basic what we pay for we get cleans Quiet affordable. It’s convenience right by the highway two to three miles from foods spots to really choose from.

We use this hotel frequently for our trip down to Florida. It was convenient and economical. This was my first time using hotels.com to reserve a room and was upset when I was not on the first floor. However, I must not have read all the options to request that service. Steve tried to offer me a free gift, but I was tired and crabby and didn’t want to walk up any stairs due to no elevator. I learned my lesson to make sure to either ask if there’s elevator access or request a first floor room.

So I want to start off by saying the people that work there are kind and courteous at check-in as well as check out. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated, it could use a better cleaning and some definite updating. The walls are paper thin and you could smell people next door smoking weed as well as cigarettes coming into our room so I had allergies all night and the next morning. We didn't say anything till check out because we did not want trouble as it was a Saturday night and there were some people that did not look very safe saying there because you could tell they were very high. The lobby is very nice looking but the rooms are just really outdated, the sheets had holes all in them, the pillows are thin and cheap. When you walk down the Halls it will give you a feel of the movie The Shining. They are very stingy on towels in the room . The only vending machine on the first floor of two floors does not work correctly . Again the people that work there are great they were very apologetic for the night before and they said they were sorry that some people just can't follow the rules. I would not stay here again.

Stayed here for the night with my wife & 2 kids over the summer. Quick & Simple place right off the Interstate we were traveling on. We stayed on a Saturday night & it was quiet--no crazy parties! Pool was outside, but nice. Large hotel w/ plenty of rooms. Staff was very nice & helpful too.

Easy to find - right off of the interstate. Check in/out was super easy. The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of options. You can tell that this is an older hotel, but the rooms were clean. The rooms all had hard floors and NO carpet (which is good in my opinion). The beds were pretty comfortable. You can tell that they updated all the right things. I would definitely stay here again. Very good hotel for the price.

This was a okay stay, I do not like how the $100 deposit fee isn’t told until check in with booking through Expedia but those things should be listed on all sights. My card was also charged the deposit but I was suppose to be a hold not an Authorization but over all the room was nice but I wouldn’t book again because of the deposit.

This stop absolutely horrible, the lobby looks presentable, but the rooms were nasty. There was black around all the door handles, spots splattered on the head boards, white stains running down the sides of the black bed skirts, bugs and spiders found in the bed and under the mattress. All this was found in literally the first 10 minutes we were there. We ask for a refund to be able to find a clean place to stay, and they were very agreeable to that. I’m not one that has to have the best of things, but please at least make them clean!

Room smelled of mildew. But we arrived really late and didn’t want to deal with trying to find another place to stay. In the morning we discovered why…the entire wall under the air conditioning unit was wet. It had exposed insulation and an exposed electrical outlet that was getting water on it. Completely unsafe. We told the staff at checkout and they didn’t seem to care. They just added it to their really long maintenance list. In hind sight, they probably already knew about this issue and it’s probably not localized to the room we were in because the hallway was extremely scented with air freshener to (probably) remove the mold/mildew smell.

This property is fine, but our bathroom was not very clean. The strong smell of musk, like the shower curtain was left in washer too long, then was put in the dryer. There were some flaws such as the air conditioning needs updating and the beds could be a bit more comfortable but the breakfast was really good and it was clean enough for comfort. No ick. No bugs. It was fine for the night We visited the Ocmulgee Mounds while in town.
