Sold my room after reserving and paying in advance. Will never forget getting into Chicago at 2am just for them to tell us they are full capacity when driving from out of state. No call or anything!! Very upset and disappointed

It was the worst room ever mold everywhere

tv didn’t work, bed uncomfortable,room smelled of cigarettes, holes in bed sheet, hotel located in bad area can’t believe hotels.com put me in this place will NEVER use hotels.com again.

Very gross! We checked our room and found blood stains all over the bed, gross congealed spots on the floor, and very spooky light switches. It is also has live ins who are noisy well into the night, we checked in at eleven and they were still very lively. Our stay was very short and will never happen again!

When I booked it it was showing a big tub but when I checked in they told me I had to pay extra for it . False advertisement! Besides that staff was welcoming n polite

The room was expensive and it was dirty and smell weird funky smell. Very bad i want a refund cause it was bad the bed was super hard.

Looked nothing like the pictures. Smelled terrible not even the spray provided helped. Lights did not even work. Only the lights on bed board.

The property was in a bad part of town and the quality of the room was poor. Tiny toilet, rusty bathtub and horrible tolietries

Not a great place at all. Poor desk service, the girl at the desk was on her phone and it smelled like pee. We got to the room and it was disgusting, it reeked of cigarettes even though I never selected the room to be a smoking room. Trash was on the floor, lamp cover was missing, a handle for one of the dressers drawers was missing, bed sheets and blankets were not changed, dusty ceiling which looked like they weren’t cleaned for weeks/months, stains on the shower curtain, smelly bathroom, and a red stain on the bathroom doorway which looked like blood since nothing that was in the room was red or that was painted red. The rooms rented next door on each side were both playing loud music. It wasn’t the fact that the walls were thin, which they were, it sounded like full volume from each room. Would not come here again and definitely not recommending to anyone.

It was a good stay for my weekend

This is not a 2 Star hotel. They literally rent rooms by the hour. The room smelled, the towels were not clean, the furniture falling apart, outlets didn’t work, creepy guests. Other than lots of parking, there were no good attributes.

There was blood on the bathroom wall, the floors were slippery, everything was sticky, the air conditioner leaked water into the room.

It was the most unpleasant stay there was no internet at all my cell phone didn’t work I’m the shower had a lime stone stain on it. The filing was cracked there were not safety lockes on the door to make sure it was safe. The ppl upstairs were playing loud music till 5am I called the office several times nobody answered. I went up there. Nobody was there overall the worst experience in hotel I’ve ever been to. I wish God would refund my money because it was so not worth my time or my money. I had a miserable stay not to mention at 4:30 in the afternoon yesterday cop showed up in my hotel room and open the door and they had the wrong room, but they were looking for somebody and clearly I was that person but the whole experience was bad and I want a refund.

Water leaking in bathroom shower curtain old and carpet dirty and old never go there again

The room was extremely dirty with stains everywhere and cigarette burns on the blankets. No hot water. Supposed to be a non smoking establishment but they had ash trays available in the rooms and the neighbors were smoking so it would seep through the walls.

You get for what you pay for but housekeeping tried to come in room don’t know we was still in there. Had left over soap from last guest. And shower curtains was dirty.

Gangbangers hanging out in parking lot. Noisy all night. Tried to over charge. Couldn't cancel because booked online. Charged $170.00 and it wasn't even worth a 1 star. Booked because of how advertised. Seriously I am easy to please but this was gross.

They repeatedly made rebooking the same unit very convenient and easy

Nope! I got made fun of for staying here by my local family. Do yourself a favor and don’t. Room was dirty, smoking room even when not specified. No blanket on the bed just what looked like a curtain used as a bedspread. Sheets with stains and black particles on the foot. No bed bugs at least.

The rooms are not what is advertised

U all need to upgrade, smoke burns on the furniture, sheets has some smoke burns, my husband had to look for a store to go get some clean sheets

The pictures online are deceptive and the condition of the place is terrible. Rooms were dirty. Linen were dirty and stained. Floor was sticky. Staff were unfriendly. Worst hotel experience ever

This was a dreadful experience. The floors in the room were dirty and, note, this is not a smoke free environment. There were missing bulbs and open electrical wiring. The bathroom had light fixtures falling off the walls. The bed headboard was worn. It was literally nothing like the photos. I thought I was booking. Fun themed and cheap hotel. However, the four hour rates at reception, used condom on the walkway tell a different story for this motel. On a positive note, the mattress and linens were clean. Overall, this was a bad experience. Please don’t go.

The front desk lady was disrespectful

we have to change our rooms twice due to a fact that the first room had a plumbing issue from the ceiling. Then the second one had a mouse and the bath had rusted

These people harassed us nonstop. We booked for two nights and they lied said they didn’t have rooms and gave 2 rooms away when other customers came in. Overall this place sucks.

The sink water wasn’t draining. The bath water wasn’t draining. The headboard was stained. The toilet moves. The surfaces could be dusted off. The heater works well. The tv was ok. The paint could be done better. The receptionists and cleaning people were nice. I booked through Expedia.

That was very rude, and I do not like their service

We booked the "Romantic Room", but it was not romantic at all. It was disgusting, outdated, and had so many code violations. Also a creepy message. Just look at my photos. Also the jacuzzi was disgusting and dirty like they never service it or even clean it. Horrific all around. I highly suggest you go anywhere but here! Well it won't allow me to post any photos here but I will post them to my Google review.

Didn’t like it

I enjoy coming here and being able to be comfortable, cozy and relax. Good thing there are restaurants and the jewel close by for any needs.

Decrepit

We stayed in the romantic room for Valentine’s Day. When you get there you’re told to sign a paper that says no refunds after 10 minutes. Room was not properly cleaned, hair in the shower and tub and heater took forever to work. Can be a comfortable stay if you bring your own cleaning supplies

Thank you to the receptionist at front desk for accommodating me during my second stay! Had the same room the second time as my 1st, only this time, the heater wasn’t working. She was kind to change the rooms for me and it was a nice upgrade. I appreciate her immensely!

I wish the shower had hot water! The sink had better hot water surprisingly. My only complaint!

The property needs some serious TLC and this may make it attractive to travelers. They should give more towels and clean the bathroom thoroughly. If your standards are high, this one does not qualify.

Aside from the filth, I've never felt so scared coming to a place! The place reeked of heavy marijuana and tobacco usage and bleach. Oh, and they want you to sign something saying you can't get a refund after being there for 10 minutes. Gross. Also, it's in an extremely unsafe part of town. My first Uber driver actually wouldn't bring me there directly. The bathroom door was kicked in. There was an altercation involving police near my room the first night. I was supposed to stay for three nights, but I called Expedia at 4 a.m. to tell them that it was incredibly gross and unsafe but that I feared an altercation with the front staff due to their "10-minute policy,". Expedia called the front desk to say I had a "family emergency" and got me out. They refunded me for the two nights I did not stay. It caused a massive amount of stress, though, because then I was in a state I'd never been in before, trying to find new lodging, far away from this place, on a marathon weekend. I booked a different hotel each night I was in the Chicago area. I wish there was a space for photos and videos. This place was horrendous!

Probably the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty floors, cigarette burns everywhere, stained sheets, noisy neighbours and WI-FI didn’t work. Even my phone data was patchy. Only redeeming factors were the price and the fact it was close to a few food places and a Starbucks.

It’s was a party next door I didn’t get any rest

The ladies working behind the front desk were very sweet and nice. The room however, was not cleaned very well and smelled like cigarettes. The bed was nicely made, but it doesn't looked like they vacuumed or cleaned the bath tub.

The lights were unplugged and so I had to use my phone to plug in the lights. The microwave was unplugged because they didn’t have enough plugs to use it so I had to unplug the refrigerator to be able to heat up my dinner. The swap out plugs to store my leftover food in the fridge

People arguing all night

Service was pretty quick and accommodating as soon as I arrived. Just felt kind of left because there wasn’t any type of cleaning service during the days. But for the price can’t complain

Pretty dirty, but it was cheap. You get what you pay for. Parking lot is brightly lit which makes it feel safer.

Microwave is on the table but there's no outlet. Have to placed it on the floor to plug it in. Towels are dingy

There was chewed gum stuck in the headboard. Ac unit was coated in dust and debris and barely functioned. You could hear mice in the walls. The locking mechanism on the door was broken. The lights didn't work. It was truly the absolute worst place ive ever stayed at. And I've stayed at plenty of motels in the past. They make you sign a card accepting no refunds under any circumstances before you even see the room. Also if you are female they will text you from an unknown number and creep on you in your room. I left within an hour of arriving. Pics are not at all accurate. Just awful.

I paid online and the guy at the counter thought I was lying after I showed him the confirmation number and my receipt twice.he was being very racist because I was black. Gave me a dirty with cigarettes everywhere with no remote and said I had to wait an hour for another remote. After I had the Expedia representative call and confirm that I paid he was still rude and didn’t apologize. He end up moving my room and the other nroom the outlets didn’t work the lights didn’t work it was cold and the tv didn’t work. My key didn’t even work to the room and he said if I needed to get let in my room I would have to come all the way to the office. After complaining AGAIN about a new room for the third time it was ok. The tv worked and then heat worked but the towels were dirty and it was blood on the sheets!! Absolutely horrible. Expedia needs to take this off the app because it’s making the service look horribly wrong. Racist place they don’t like black people!!!!!

Presidential Motel was rude and refuse to allow to check is in at 12:00 noon. He basically used every excuse available. This was the most ridiculous, "They are checking into four hours". Eventually, he checked us into 5th filthest room possible
