    Eggs were wet and gross, however, the rest of breakfast was pretty delicious. The room itself was larger than I thought it would be (King bed), but that was due to my brain not registering the size of the space from the photos. The room was clean, however the shower could use some extra work with cleaning. Also, the kitchen had no sponge to wash the dishes, so instead used the kitchen rag used for cleaning up messes on the counter to clean them. It worked itself out, but still.

    This by far the best hotel in Lynchburg...very clean spacious rooms our suite had a full full kitchen dining area and separate living room with 55 in. tv with another 55 in. in the bedroom...great breakfast and location 5 stars

    The stay for my daughters’ graduation was great. The front desk staff and housekeepers were a great help. Brian and Lakiesha (sp?) were especially helpful every morning at breakfast. Glad that we stayed there and would definitely stay there again when in Lynchburg!

    Very clean, all employees very courteous and helpful. When I took my dog out the back to use the bathroom, employees were taking smoke breaks by that door. At one time I saw no less than 12 cigarette butts on the ground ? There was no receptacle for them to deposit them BUT, litter is litter ?

    The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and professional. The breakfast had enough choices. I reserved specifically 2 queen beds (traveling with my adult son) and the hotel said Booking.com requested a “king +Sofa” so that’s what I got. So I had to make the sofa bed which is not comfortable at all for someone my age. The pillows sucked too. The hotel is by a busy intersections and was extremely noisy. Didn’t get much sleep.

    There was black dog hair all over the hotel room. It was disgusting. While I appreciate the hotel allowing dogs, because I was able to take mine when he was alive, I was told that there are allocated rooms on the first floor near the side door. I stayed on the 3rd floor this time. My grand-daughter's allergy flared up, and she had to take something at night to calm it down. Also, she got 2 flea bites. Made me paranoid I was going to take fleas home with me. I told the front desk, and they recorded it for the manager. I have stayed at this hotel many times and never had an experience like this. I won't trust it again.

    Bathroom configuration was terrible. The toilet and shower room were so small and the door was huge feeling. There was no fan in the toilet and shower room. The water pressure was terrible in the shower, bathroom sink, and kitchenette sink.

    I liked the staff and the over stay. The hotel is close to all the major stores and restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like is a gold member I didn’t receive my two free bottles of water. Overall great stay!

    I was on the third floor back of property where a train track was just outside my window. i went to be early, but was awakened several times by the train noise. About an hour after I checked in I received a fraud alert for the credit card I used at check in. Coincidence, maybe? not sure tho.

    The accommodations were very nice, only 2 staff members were exceptional, and I regret I didn't get their names. Our greeting on arrival was mediocre, though she did seem to warm up after I joked around a bit. Parking was free and safe.

    Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The pool was warm and towels were readily available. Perfect location convenient to where we were going. That being said, we had to move rooms immediately after check in due to missing blind and room not being clean. They promptly moved us to another room but that room was missing remotes and was still not much cleaner. (Very evident stains/grime on all the upholstered furniture.)

    It was horrible 😣 I book the room true Expedia by using the app switch my date to the end of the month and the lady on the from desk couldn’t do nothing because I book room true Expedia call then Speen 2 hrs over the phone trying to change my date .. pay xtra to change.. finally when I when to the front desk the di not releas the payment to the hotel because I book it true a 3 party after 3 hrs of waiting time the lady from the desk lets me get my room 😢 no more booking true Expedia

I showed the mqn at the front desk the videos. He said he would not charge me but I had paid through expedia. I left and slept in my car for the night! I want a full refund from expedia.

    I have stayed at many top hotels as I commuted to NYC for 16 years. I was surprised by my visit to Lynchburg VA Homewood Suites. Everything worked beautifully, very clean and laid out well for my needs.     The property was great, and the rooms were top notch. Truly a great way to spend a vacation and very convenient amenities. The business center did not have an operating printer though, and rather than offering to print, the staff member recommended we go to the Garden Inn next door. The Garden Inn also did not have a functioning printer in the business center, but their staff were kind enough to offer to print. If you expect to get all of the listed amenities, you may not.

    They state they do room service every other day, that is simply not true.     On arrival we were asked for a credit card for incidentals but was shocked when they tried to charge us $938 for the stay! We advised that it was prepaid through Hotels.com but was told it wasn’t so had to show the credit card bill & printout before the manager came and said it was ok. We wanted to do some washing so went to the laundry room loaded one of the machines only to be told by another guest that is was broken and that the hotel knew but hadn’t put a notice on the machine so a waste of detergent. The managed offered for us to go to the Hilton Gardens next door but when we got there one machine was broken and the other had so much grime we would not use it. Finally got to use a machine and the manager gave us coins & detergent. The bin outside the lift wasn’t emptied for 3 days. Breakfast was not good, the bananas were going black and were there for the whole of our stay. The hot water tasted of coffee so we had to ask for hot water from the kitchen The staff were very nice and did get us the water. On arrival we were given a room on the 4th floor and although was was spacious & comfortable the noise & vibration of the train going past at 03:00 did wake us up. Overall one of the worst Homewood Suites we have stayed in which is a shame as it could be so much better.

    This location was, shockingly, the worst hotel stay ever. I am a Bonvoy Marriott member, but we were looking for a full kitchen and indoor pool; this location had both. SO against my better judgment, we booked here. When we checked in, they put us in the wrong room type; we paid for a suite and were given a standard room. So we had to make the front desk aware of the mix-up and moved to our second room. I unpacked and ordered groceries because we were there for ten days. Shortly after unpacking, we came across ants, then the AC wasn't working, and the temperatures were in the high 90s. The dishwasher did not work. The bedroom door squeaked severe, and all the tv remotes were backless. This was a surreal experience. Maintenance was gone for the weekend, so we dealt with this horror until Monday; he corrected all issues and sprayed the room. Later that night, the squeak returned, not a deal breaker; he provided liquid jet dry rinse for the dishwasher because the broken detergent door. The following da, I woke up to my laptop and folders infested with ants; We were moved to a third room. Things seemed better until we returned to the hotel late Sunday night to find the maintenance man in our room standing on the back of the couch with his boots on, saying he was fixing the smoke detector; very unsettling. Why was there no sign on my door? I suppose Marriott spoiled us. Terrible STAY!! Oh, and the manager, Michelle offered us $20 per night for the inconvenience. AWFUL Hilton stay!

    It was extremely clean and comfortable. We were awakened at 1:30 a.m. by the fire alarm and had to go outside. Also my mother in law’s room didn’t have a remote control and we had to make two trips downstairs to get that worked out. The heat didn’t work in her room either.

    Ray the front desk clerk was able to help my son and I adjust into a room with a roll in shower rather than a tub.     I was told if I checked out early I would be able to receive a refund for the days I did not end up staying. So I checked out thinking what I was told by the reception. Upon trying to get my refund, things changed and I was told that I could not receive a refund because I booked with Expedia. This hotel was also listed as a pet-friendly hotel, which is was not. So my second guest was unable to join me since she had a pet. Which was another reason I was looking into checking out early and seeing if I would get my money back if I did. Overall it was a great property, but the communication was very disappointing. And I’m still very dissatisfied that I was told I would be able to receive a refund if I checked out early which later changed

    The one thing I would recommend is that at the check-in let the person know that there isn’t an Ice machine on the floor, and you have to use the in Freezer ice machine for ice.

    The pool was cloudy could’ve been cleaner. Also , I came into the hotel around 9pm with my infant and there was a group of people outside smoking. Probably nothing you can control but I would’ve liked to know about a back door or maybe put no smoking signs up. Other than that hotel was great. Thank you!
