Comfort Inn & Suites Lynchburg Airport - University Area

Internet was complicated to sign up for and then never worked. Also, between 20 mins prior to checkout time and 5 mins before, they knocked on the door three times to ask if we were checking out. That was annoying. We told them we’d be out of the room by 11:00 and we were. Room was quiet and clean, so that was good.

All the employees were very friendly and helpful! Room was comfortable. Sheets were soft. Enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.

My comforter had stains on it and I had to go to the front desk and ask for a clean one. The couch in my room had multiple stains on it. The ice bucket in the bathroom was dirty and had weird yellow stains on it. The elevator makes an awful noise like it's gonna break down. Breakfast was ok; they really need more than one waffle maker because I waited 20 mins in line to be able to make mines.

We stayed at the hotel from May 15-17. We were completely not satisfied with our stay due to the lack of cleanliness, lack of water pressure, and unsanitary issues we experienced in our room. To summarize: + the bed looked like it was slept in when we checked in + there was brown water in the ice container + there was a lot of hair strands in the sink and on the toilet + there were large wet stains as we entered the room. + the towels had brown and black stains on them. + the water pressure from the shower did not work properly. We addressed these concerns with the front desk. We are requesting a full refund for our stay.

The location was good as we were visiting Appomattox, VA. Facility was clean and well maintained. It worked for our needs. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was fine. Nothing outstanding. Elevator may need to be serviced. Lots of creaking sounds and noises. Unnecessary alarms would occasionally sound.

Rooms were clean and the guys at the front desk were very nice. Only down side was the “business center” computer was so slow and outdated I couldn’t use. The elevator was very wobbly and slow…reported to the front desk.

This is always the hotel of my choice whenever I visit family in Lynchburg. The staff is incredibly helpful and have great positive attitudes...it's a welcome feeling after a day of travel! The hotel and rooms are always clean and the gym looks like it got a little update with equipment which is great! Breakfast is perfect with great options and it's a very convenient location for me. The lemon water is always divine.

Breakfast options were good. Our tub wasn't draining properly so unfortunately, we were basically bathing while standing in dirty water. The ironing board also kept falling down while I attempted to iron.

The location is perfect for visiting Liberty University. Easily accessible to get in and out of, regardless of the busy traffic. Staff has always been friendly and it has been very clean each time I’ve stayed there. This visit, I stayed on the first floor and was able to notice the road noise little more, but we just used a white noise app on our phone while sleeping, which worked perfectly.

Easy access and overall was clean The shower head was limited on settings. We stayed for 2 days but our room was not cleaned or linen changed after our first night. Also new towels were not supplied and the garbage not emptied. I had to go to the desk to get new towels whencwecreturnedblate that night. Gave this same information to the housekeeping department as we were checking out.

We would have been happy to transfer a reservation to another location on our way home that night, but they could not work with us. (front desk).

My family always loves to stay here as it checks off all of the boxes… It’s close to our sons school and convenient for everything else. The staff is always so friendly and it’s always very clean.

Also, I only pulled the top covers of my bed down and slept on the bed - you would think that they would at least straighten the covers and make the bed. It looked the same as I left it. Right in front of the airport so was very convenient. I went for the Intensive Course of Liberty University, and the university transportation doesn't cover that area. Great hotel.

Interactions with the staff were really positive. Loved having the lemon infused water available. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of choices. The room was very comfortable and clean. The AC worked great! We didn't experience anything that could have been done better. Perhaps having newspapers and/or magazines in the lobby for those who like some reading material!

We had a nice stay. The property is clean, the staff were pleasent, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a box. Not only were my husband and I uncomfortable but so were our children. I hate to even have to point it out because everything else about the property was excellent.

The thing i had the most issue with was that house keeping woke me up at 8:30 and when i opened the door to see why she just said they would come back later, did not apologize for waking me up. 8:30 is way too early too start cleaning occupied rooms. The biscuits and gravy was pretty good for breakfast.

This was a quick overnight stay. I was able to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast had a variety of options and the staff friendly. Check out was quick and pleasant. The location offered many options for dining within a a short distance. Overall, a nice stay for overnight trip.

This reasonably priced hotel is a jewel. I have an allergy and request a room that has had no service animals. The next day, I was itching, so they moved us to another room with ease. The manager was invaluable, and the desk check was great. The breakfast was great, and I liked the pool. We had an appointment with a doctor at the Virginia Baptist Hospital. The place is a family-type hotel, very safe, with friendly staff. I rate this place five stars plus. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Comfort Inn while picking up our son from college. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. The rooms were super clean and cozy. The hotel is conveniently located close to many restaurants and stores. We will definitely be back for again for our future stays in Lynchburg.

Overall our stay was good. It is advertised as having a restaurant onsite, but there is not. Also this hotel is right on a main road & 18 wheeler traffic is loud if this bothers you. Lastly the bathroom could have used a deep cleaning. The staff was courteous, breakfast was good & the bed was super comfortable!

There was a loud fruity smell in my room that made it difficult to breath. I reported it, the clerk placed an Ozone Generator to clean the air while I was in the room. The maid service awaken me the next morning. This was not typical behavior for me to over sleep. I had a terrible headache and had to checkout. I have stayed several times at Comfort Inn. I am very disappointed.

This is one of the cleanest, nicest properties we've stayed at in quite awhile. Plentiful breakfast items in a bright roomy area for dining. And a big shout out to David and Eliizsbeth at the front desk who checked us in and us great directions for getting around!

We were pleasantly surprised at how amazing our short trip was to Lynchburg and it was all thanks to Comfort Inn. The assistant manager, David, and other worker, Elizabeth were so pleasant upon arrival and the room was comfortable. We did not stay for breakfast but everything looked yummy! It was a close stay to liberty which was another plus for us! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The breakfast is great. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage and of course, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Excellent set-up. I worked out in their gym and the weights and machines they have are perfect for keeping up with your workout routine. Like I said, always love staying here whenever I visit my family. A gem of a hotel.

Under the lip of the bathroom sink was filled with mildew and possibly mold. The breakfast area was disheveled and the garbage (both) were over flowing. The coffee in the carafe was luke warm at best. The front desk personnel was friendly for the most part. I don’t know the man’s name who was a bit of a grump so I won’t describe him bc then it would be offensive. But other than him, front desk was very nice.

Like that they had breakfast available with variety of foods and fruits and beverages.

The room was terrible. Toilet didn’t flush, floor was dirty, the hallways smelled bad and the room had a lot of humidity.

My overall stay was good. The staff werre very friendly when you arrive.

Why o Why can’t reputable hotels offer customers a clean room???

The road noise was terrible, very hard to sleep. Room was ok, seemed clean. Not the best overall hotel I guess because of the noise.

We were greeted with friendly staff as we walked in the door to check in. They had fresh baked cookies to offer as well as lemon infused ice water available. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offerings were great.

Heat would blow very cold during the middle of the night..had to turn heat off as it had no backup heat with the outside conditions.

This hotel is very conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. It can be noisy depending on which side of the hotel your room is. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of items including eggs and sausage, a good balance of protein and carbs. We appreciated having coffee, cookies, and lemon water in the lobby. Housekeeping took good care of us with fresh towels. The best gem was the breakfast hostess, Martha Ann. She served us two out of the three mornings we were there. She gave the breakfast experience a personal touch with her hospitality.
