Nice hotel. Not technically in the heart of Los Gatos which was a bummer because it’s about a 15-20 minute walk into town. Hotel lobby was nice and clean, but after 3 nights our room was never cleaned. No new towels and no garbage taken out even though they said at check in we’d have housekeeping every other day. Other than that the price was fair, friendly staff and excellent free daily breakfast with strong coffee. We won’t stay here again because the location is not ideal without a car, but other than that had a good stay!

checked in on wednesday and checked out on sunday. absolutely no housekeeping no upkeep g of towels. kept the same towels for the whole stay. i told the front desk at check out and she couldn’t care less. i was told that it was a new schedule and didn’t know anything. for a $1,000+ stay. having new towels i don’t think is asking for much. no trash pick up. NOTHING!

Also got extra lucky with water pipes vibrating and making super loud bang noises for 1 min every 10 to 15min. Impossible to sleep until 2:30am. Received a text at 8:30 am stating that late check out will be unavailable. Perfectly. When I told staff about my night in the morning, they didn’t asked any questions to make things better and/or didn’t apologize in any way. Terrible. First time and last there.

The included breakfast was set in its own room with tables of four, or guests could take their plate of food and coffee to their room. Breakfast selections were extensive, coffee, milk & juices, bagels, pastries, cereal, country potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage links and french toast. Previously we’ve stayed in various Best Western Hotels and mentally add this hidden gem among our favorites. Date of stay 5/23/2026

Parking was safe and easy. Did not eat breakfast on site. Staff was not available/not reachable by phone during one of the nights when there was a loud disturbance in the parking lot. Room service was denied when requested to change beds after the 5th day of stay. Water stopped intermittently during showers. Staff offered no solution. The hotel manager was dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. A detailed report of the experience with this hotel was provided to the Expedia supervisor.

As far as the breakfast, I tend to sleep later because of my flight time. I went down at 9:15 and for the most part the breakfast had just been sitting there… they should have fresh tasty all items until the advertise closing in at 9:30 AM. Thank you.!

Location of the place was good ? In my room 118, there was no microwave and getting ice was a hassle. In my room the AC/Heater was too close to the bed making the the sleep either too cold or too hot. Next question need more options

Non-friendly appearance

The staff was amazing. So nice and attentive. Our room lock was malfunctioning but they had it fixed the next morning. The only downfall was not the fault of the Best Western - two nights in a row, other guests came in just before 3am and woke everyone up. In the parking lot, stomping in their rooms, beeping their car alarms. Annoying, but I know they were on vacation. Not the end of the world. I'd definitely stay here again.

A little problem w front door mats! Trip hazzard

Parking was safe and easy. We had dinner at the restaurant next door and it was amazing. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. We were able to have an early check in which was wonderful.

Absolutely worked well

There were workers talking loudly in the afternoon just outside our door. The water in the shower would cut off right in the middle. One of the staff rubbed one of the linen carts along our rental leaving a big long mark. The last evening, someone entered the room to leave a tip envelope even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. Highly not recommended

Room/building acoustic is not good. If you get a ground-level room, you will wake with people walking on upper level.

Room was clean; however, outdated. The shower leaked water, not enough room on shelf to place bathroom products, and no bar handle to hold onto, especially on a slippery surface. The bathroom outlet did not allow me to plug my dryer into the bathroom outlet. Also, no outlets to charge electronics.

Room was meh. Could have smelled better. And I wasn’t able to move because I guess all the rooms were booked. Noise insulation was pretty bad so I could hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms. It seemed clean and the bathroom was in good shape.

Check in took over 40 minutes.

The rooms are very well appointed - has coffee machine, safe, refrigerator, comfy beds, and the location was quiet. Also, a very nice breakfast is offered in the morning, plus the staff was great. It was my first stay here and I was very impressed!

This hotel was great. Very clean. They serve breakfast which is usually eggs, bacon, pancakes or waffles, fruit, coffee juice and pastries. The windows in the room open which is great if u want some fresh air. The room has a fridge, safe lock, shower/tub, desk and vanity area. There is a gym and pool. The town is small but very safe very cute, right by the freeway which is super convenient.

After seeking an early check-in, we were told our room would not be available until 3pm and that the hotel was fully booked so no other room was available. We waited onsite for 3 hours to get into our room. At 3:30, mgmt came to us and told us that the room had a water leak from the night before and that carpets were too wet to allow us to move in. They told us to find other accommodations. They waited 4 hours to tell us of an issue that we should have been told immediately. Inept is the only word I can use. They said that we would be reimbursed for our prepaid room. No compensation for their ineptness

Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, and in a great location. However, our stay ended up being a bit rough because we barely got any sleep. Our room was right next to the lobby’s connecting door, so every time someone went in or out, it was loud and made the bed and window next to it shake. On top of that, the guests above us were arguing and stomping around most of the night. I know that part isn’t the hotel’s fault, but with both things combined, it made it really hard to rest. Otherwise, the property itself was well maintained and the staff were friendly. Would come back.

If you are expecting a mediocre motel, you will be happy. If you are expecting more, you will not. The room looked dark and worn down, and smelled as though it had been recently cleaned with pet urine/feces removal product. When using the bathroom sink, I lost 90% of the water pressure when someone next door used their faucet. I know that's what it was, because I could *hear* that someone next door was using their faucet. I could also hear every time someone walked upstairs. The area around the hotel is not especially nice, the pool area was uninviting. On the bright side, the lobby was fine, and the breakfast was better than I expected. The bed was average for comfort, but the pillows were very nice. The air conditioner worked well. All in all, WAY overpriced, and I would not recommend staying here.

I arrived to the hotel after a 3+ hour drive ready to check in since my wife and I were eager to relax. We were met with an unfriendly manager who stated that she was going to charge us a fee since we arrived 30 minutes before check in time. I explained that I never experienced a hotel charging me for arriving 30 minutes prior to check in. She bluntly replied “do you want to check in early or not?” My wife and I are constantly in the area for Stanford appointments and have never been charged for wanting to check in early. After we checked in, the hotel room had uncomfortable pillows, the AC unit was extremely loud and the WiFi was spotty which made the tv unable to connect. Overall, our experience at the hotel wasn’t the best and we will not be staying here again.

Bed was comfortable, and I liked having an overhead fan in the room. Checked in at 3:15 and was told by one of the front desk employees that “it’s a misconception that rooms have to be ready at 3pm”(which is check in time). In all my years I have never been told that by an employee at a hotel I’m checking in to. This came off as VERY rude and passive aggressive. My attitude was about to take a turn for the worse after she said that, however the gentleman working with her went above and beyond to go check on the room itself to make sure it was ready for me. It was. Upon entry into the room it was 81 degrees inside and musty (the carpet needs to go). I had to find housekeeping to help me adjust the thermostat in the room as it wasn’t very user friendly. The A/C worked well and brought that temp down to where I set it at. 62!Thank goodness!

Booked early check in, confirmed by hotel, then later cancelled by hotel. Toilet ran all night, shower head not affixed properly, pipes moved when trying to adjust it. Slow check in, even though I completed everything ahead of my arrival, including my CC for incidentals. Would not recommend.

The room was clean and smelled great, also the breakfast was amazing, felt like I was in a buffet.

Water system was broken and was not notified ahead of time. Was in town for a surgery, so not having a functioning shower was a major issue - would have cancelled and stayed elsewhere had I known. Only gave me $25 off a 2 night stay with no functioning shower. Would never consider staying here again.

Such a gem for a hotel in Los Gatos at this price point. Conveniently tucked away just off the freeway but without all of the noise and centrally located enough to anywhere you need to be in Los Gatos. Standard rooms are updated and incredibly spacious and the best part is they welcome your pets at a fair rate!

Wonderful experience during our stay.

Their breakfast is absolutely amazing. Friendly staff. The room was clean. The bed was nice a cozy, air conditioner worked great. The only two things I wasn't impressed with were the shower, which was a small cube and felt cramped. Also, the hotel is situated by an apartment complex, and one of the tenants was slamming his weights down, which was very loud. This was not the hotels fault though.

Front desk staff are amazing and kind. Breakfast services were also enjoyable.

The room was humid, the AC worked fine but if the room wasn’t humid I probably wouldn’t have felt the need to use it. I also found two large spiders in my room. One in the bathroom and one on my blanket. If you have a fear of spiders don’t get a room that’s outside because the doors have the slightest crack underneath them so any critters can get inside. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to comp me $20 but I most likely won’t be rebooking here.

There is a restaurant at the entrance of the property and finding parking at night when the restaurant is open is horrible. Parking spaces are small as well. Hotel needs to enforce parking to stop restaurant customers from parking in hotel guest parking only spots. If you do decide to stay here, request for a room at the other end by the swimming pool. Parking is small and very very limited.

Perfect stay

We got a room right above the registration desk and kitchen. So all the food smells from the kitchen for breakfast came through the vent really early and we were not able to go back to sleep. So if you have sensitivity to scents, request for a room away from the kitchen/breakfast area.

The room coffee maker and refrigerator didn’t work so I let staff know, but they did not fix the problem right away; I even took the coffeemaker to the reception, but reception was not attentive. I later found out (toward end of my stay) from the maid that the refrigerator was not plugged in. Breakfast did not taste good. Not staying here again.

The general manager for the property has an attitude problem which needs to be addressed by the corporate leaders. My family lost the sleep for one night and she wants to give me $30 back so I return the $30 back to her and told her use it for staff training how to calculate issues which I have encountered so no one has to deal with this again. Very sad disappointing experience from best Western over the decades being with them. This was the first one to F unit up. Not going down there again. The water shots during the shower as somebody is using the washing machine you are left with soap on your body and then the water tank cold and then warm again. Water pressure is so low that you have to squeeze the water out of the showerhead. Stay away from this place . There are better best western hotels then this.

The property offers comfortable stay all around. The rooms are neatly kept and cleaned. All of the staff are professional and courteous. The location is excellent because it offers quiet and plenty of parking. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Couldn't recommend it more. Would definitely stay there again.

TV connection didn't always work

I didn't like that the pet rates didn't match what it said online. I also didn't like that I couldn't get a receipt in person. Otherwise, this was a good place to stay for my purpose. Will stay again.

We were given the wrong room, someone was already in it. The room was really noisy. We've stayed there at least 8 times a year and this time got a room by Almaden/Los Gatos Rd. Too noisy.

The location is great yet the hotel is pet friendly which is great yet they need to clean the rooms to ensure their rooms are cleaned well enough for non-pet occupants. Had to request another room due to smell of wet dog on carpet. Recommend when booking to make sure you ask for a non-pet room. Even after switching rooms, the cleanliness was still poor- dirty carpet, poor air heating/conditioner unit and moldy bathroom.

Great location & hotel in great condition

Ended up not staying here had a family emergency and whole family got covid I thought I got the insurance on hotel because I got hotel over two months in an advance and my best friend that was taking me to my surgery house burned down so I had no choice to cancel my surgery which canceled my hotel when I went to cancel did o well so I contacted hotel manager explaining even I could get a credit and she said no that’s hotel policy sorry for my bad luck was so rude no sympathy or anything so sad that people could have no heart

Water Pressure was just O.K. Breakfast was included and basic: Eggs, Susgage, potato and + typical continental breakfast. Finding Parking early evenings could be a mess due to the fancy Restaurant (Restaurant ASA) next to it ; which I highly recommend it. There is also Los Gatos Lodge across from the street. It is much bigger property with same price, but the rooms are super old and in much needed of some tender care and upgrade. My biggest complains: 1) they are very restrict on CheckIN and Check out Time and they will charge you for early checkin and late check out. So , make sure you double check with the front office 2) the Fridge in the room makes noise. Make sure to turn it off. 3) There were some weird noise which sounded like some wood were shaking and hitting each other from time to time. It can be annoying if you are a light sleeper, But the noise issue could also have been due to the location of my room 4) Walls are thin, I could definitely hear the next door or the person above me Snoring all night…

My stay was for the overall most part good. The gentleman and the woman at the front desk were very friendly. However I’m not sure why house keeping kept knocking on my door at 8:45 am and again at 9am. Then they kept ringing the phone once. I was trying to sleep. I called the front desk and the lady was super nice she wasn’t sure why they were knocking early because I paid for late check out. She said she’d let know. I was a little worried about how clean my room was because there was a box of used condoms sitting on the bathroom counter that grossed me out lol. Other than that all was good. I’d come back and I love the location.

Rooms were immaculately clean and spacious, with amenities that are essential - in addition to a complimentary hot breakfast that will wake you up & get energized for the day! What's not to love about all of this at a fraction of a cost?! Highly recommended!

Great value and great Michelin restaurant!

It's safe, clean, comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating, especially Regina- she is AWESOME!! The only negative is that there's a restaurant at the entrance of the facility that uses the hotel parking lot while dining. It gets a little noisy and crowded until those customers leave. Other than, I would most certainly stay there again!!

Close to town and freeway entrance but remarkably quiet

Hidden gem of hotel. It is older but remodeled. The room was cozy clean and bed was comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. Breakfast was great, really impressive. Chorizo and scrambled eggs was quite unexpected. Service was excellent. Next time I’m in town I will stay again.

You pay for a bed and a shower. Well I stayed there because it was close to my doctor appointment. 9:00 am jumped in the shower, shower would not get warm enough then it totally stopped. Absolutely no water. 3 minutes later it starts again. Then 2 minutes in it stops. This happened 4 times, so I went to my appt half showered and unhappy about my experience. I was told someone would follow up, but nothing.

Shower door in 118 needs alignment. Toilet seat needs replacing due to very loud opening and closing. Coffee maker does not work.

Stayed here while visiting family for the holidays. Super close to the freeway, great location to downtown Los Gatos. I walked to town with no problem. Hotel is good. Great bedding, daily room service cleaning when requested, we did have interesting. Text messages from the hotel Telling us that the water would be turned off and that they would also be coming in to do things in our room. The grammar for the messages sent out was poor and made things seem less professional. Other than that, it was a good hotel and very decent for the price. I will say that the rooms have very thin walls. Right next to us was two guys talking politics laid into the night and I had to put my earplugs in because you could hear them through the walls.

Clean facilities and nice staff. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The magnifying mirror was a nice touch however it didn’t work. I suggest your staff double check the rooms to make sure all things are working. USB plugs are essential these days. Updating with USB plugs would be great.

The property clearly hired a construction work on the second floor and they started at 6am dragging equipment and tools. The walls are so thin you can hear everything. Lots of other options that are cheaper
