Nice environment with flowers and plants.

Chose this motel because it was cheap and close to airport. Cute and clean property. . Convenient parking in safe neighborhood. Had everything I needed for quick stay. Would stay here again

This is our 2nd time staying here and we look forward to coming back! Great ambiance and great location.

One big bonus is the Cafe Brasil which is connected to the motel. Excellent food and nice casual atmosphere. Also about a block away (walking distance) is a Lodge Bakery with great stuff for breakfast. So super convenient options for food.

Very cute and simple, great little restaurant attached. Easy to check in and out, good parking on site, quiet at night. A bit more expensive than I would have liked, and the showers are showing their age.

Property was just as advertised. Clean room, vibrant atmosphere. Not far from the coast. Very good for the cost.

Clean Nice staff easy check-in/ check-out onsite restaurant was delicious and had a reasonable price location was central to everything we did loved the atmosphere music free parking right in the front of your room was a bonus :)

What a gem of a place. We are so lucky to have found this Brazilian paradise, the peace in the middle of LA, 20 min from LAX. The staff is working around the clock to clean and beautify this place, feels like a home away from home...if the home would be vibrant and sparkling clean and you had the family lighting candles every evening and rearranging flowers at the tables... We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and so enjoyed is as well... All you need to do is walk 50 yards... This is our second time here and we will be back for sure. Also dog friendly! We didn't have our pup this time. It takes a while for the hot water to travel all the way to the back of the hotel where we stayed ;). We are just spoiled and like to save water ;)...but we have the same thing at our house so used to it and obviously ;)sensitive to it.

What a unique place with character, highly recommend, will certainly come back here. Very cut courtyard with seats and lots of plants and arts, room was quiet and clean, dishes and utensils provided, microwave, fridge, coffee machine. Bathroom was nice. 5/5 The café is just next door, I did not get to check it out but it looks lovely too.

It was a magnificent deal for the money. Although the establishment wasn’t “fancy“, they thought of every detail and it was extremely well appointed.

Room was alittle small

Great little place to stay. Great location, very reasonable and run by nice people.

So pretty and welcoming. They put candles on the outdoor table at our room to welcome us home at night. Nothing, it was perfect, got apples in the room too !

If you're done with Indie boutique small places, this is a great place to stay. Tile floor was very dirty upon arrival...but everything else was great!

We went to the restaurant Cafe Brasil after checking out. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff members were very welcoming. They also had had to find cocktails that I love in the East Coast (Kir Royal)! It has been hard to find here in the West. I would definitely stay again. Nothing! I have nothing to complain about. The place has full of positive vibes.

For a small motel, that I imagine was built quite a number of years ago, it is fairly simple, but they do a remarkable job at making things clean and comfortable. The room contains a table, plates, cups, and cutlery, as well as a generously sized refrigerator and microwave. The paint in the bathroom was fresh, and the floors are tiled and well cleaned. It appears to be likely family owned, so the front desk hours are limited, but there are small touches like a few pieces of chocolate in your room and two free sodas/water/coffee which were appreciated. The outdoor has a fun color scheme with an outdoor table and chair chairs for each room as well. The pet fee is very reasonable, and even being in one of the rooms they set aside for pets, I would’ve never known. Overall it was the most pleasantly surprised I have been by a stay in a while. It is clear the managers maintain the rooms thoughtfully. Be aware there is no included breakfast. In all fairness, in retrospect, the listing does say not there is, but I misunderstood a few of the reviews which led me to believe there was, ooops. There is a very cozy looking restaurant on site, but unfortunately, due to the hours of my stay, I did not get to try it.

his is our sixth stay here, and we still love it. The value for money is hard to beat in Los Angeles, and the location is perfect. Free parking is a huge plus and almost unheard of in LA. the hotel is a bit dated, and the simple window glazing can make the room cold at night during winter.

The rooms are like home. The sheets are clean and services (like coffee, tea) are well stocked. I was a hotel maid when I was younger and I was surprised that tips were mentioned here. It's a sign of the times, I guess. I love the rooms because they remind me of a home setting, not a minimal hotel room. I wish there had been more information on how to use the heater or air conditioner. I was reminded that the hot water takes quite a while to get to the room. This might also be added information. Maybe a menu from the restaurant in the room? I have eaten there several times and enjoy the different cuisine.

Villa Brasil Motel is my go to motel in the Marina Del Rey area. I love the outdoor seating with the nice cafe tables and chairs. The rooms seem very well insulated making them very quiet. Of course the charming decor & the attached restaurant is really convenient and delicious. The restaurant alone is a great place to take a date and hey, the motel is right there if your date goes really well! :) I didn’t like that I eventually had to leave!

Everyone is very friendly, room is spectacular & very accommodating. This is the best place in the Venice beach area! N/A - I love this place!

We were awed by the property. Sadly, we were in Los Angeles for my mother’s funeral. However, Villa Brasil offered us a moment of escape and beauty. The atmosphere was calming, the setting delightful and colorful. Even the vegetation was beautiful. We loved the simplicity of the room as well. The whole experience was inviting and friendly. Thank you to everyone who made it so. We are definitely coming back and recommending Villa Brasil to everyone traveling to Los Angeles.

Lovely gem of a motel in Culver City! Reasonably priced, plenty of free parking, festive atmosphere. The room was clean, plenty of hot water, coffee bar, microwave and fridge in room. Will stay here again.

Staff is wonderful, amenities are very nice, housekeeping also good; my only complaint was that the shower head clearly needed to be replaced as it didn't work well and the tub stop was completely unscrewed and out. Would still stay again for the beautiful room and great staff

After driving all night from New Mexico, my friend passed out on one of the two beds but a bug on his face woke him up out of a sound sleep! We looked around to see where it could have come from and I found another one crawling on the ceiling above the beds! We lifted up his mattress which smelled old and looked dirty, and we also saw what looked like mildew all around the outlet between the two beds. I complained but the elderly owner who did not seem to care at all, so we returned the room keys after finding a more expensive room to stay in for that week on short notice, but at least it was clean! We had stayed at this motel more than a few times since moving to New Mexico from Los Angeles in late 2013 but it has seriously deteriorated and I would NOT recommend them to anyone ever again!!!

It is a very cute motel with plenty of parking in the courtyard. The exterior is decorated with tropical plants and tropic-themed art.

Room was clean, parking space in front of room, staff was friendly and we felt safe. This isn't a 4 star hotel, it's a small business, so the amenities are limited. There is a Brasil Cafe opened all day with excellent food, good size portions and at a good value for L.A. standard.

This is an absolutely charming little boutique motel. We booked 2 rooms and stayed only 1 night as we passed through LA but we would certainly stay again. We loved the set up. The mini kitchen was great and parking was convenient. We arrived late for check in but the staff person was kind enough to wait for our arrival.

Small room but super clean and fun decorations, beautiful plants, carried otu a fun Brazilian theme outside the rooms. Everything was in good repair and the staff was super friendly. Bed was just a double and adequate. Super quiet all night. Ate an excellent dinner at Cafe Brazil next door. Would definitely stay here again.

Adorable & eclectic rooms/decor, delicious food at the restaurant, and perfectly low key. Only downside was internet speed, but it helped me abandon work after hours so it ended up being a plus.

This is an absolutely lovely motel. Its surprising how quiet and relaxing a place it is when it is right there in the city. There is parking on site. The staff there were all really friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely, real charm and character. The parking lot feels like a charming courtyard. Bed comfy and shower hot and strong. Inside and outside sitting/eating areas are neat. There is a lovely "Cafe Brasil" located adjacent where I had dinner and breakfast which is great food, service, atmosphere and a great price too. I will certainly stay here again if I am in this area.

I think the hotel is very reasonably priced. They do a good job cleaning but alas, they can't spot everything. I found a little bit of hair stuck to the shower wall, which was a bit awkward. But in their defense,it would have been hard to see.

Another lovely stay at the Villa Brasil. Clean room, free parking, friendly owners, delicious restaurant. Only note is to bring hair conditioner!

Make sure you look to see when their lobby closes. My flight was delayed and luckily i called and aroused someone. They said they called me but i was on the plane.
