Reviews
The USC Hotel receives mixed reviews, with guests appreciating its convenient location and friendly staff, but expressing concerns about the cleanliness, condition of the rooms, and the high cost of parking. Our stay was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful – our only hiccup was they accidentally charged us for the room, which we had prepaid, when they took our card for incidentals. The money was eventually credited back to us, but it did take about a week.

0 Star ⭐ 0 Star This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've had. I stayed at USC Hotel in Los Angeles for five nights, and from the beginning there were problems. The room was not properly cleaned, the bathtub had visible cracks, and the bathroom exhaust fan did not work. I reported the fan issue immediately and called the front desk four separate times asking for it to be fixed. Despite multiple promises, nobody resolved the problem during my entire stay. The customer service was equally frustrating. The hotel provides complimentary bottled water, but when I asked for a bottle on my fifth night, I was refused. I spoke with Martha, who I believe was the manager, and explained that I had been staying at the hotel for five nights. Her response was that it was "hotel policy" and that guests only receive water once. It made no sense. If I had checked out and checked back in, I likely would have received another bottle. Instead of showing any flexibility or appreciation for a long-term guest, they simply said no. For a hotel associated with USC, I expected much higher standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Having to repeatedly call about a maintenance issue that was never fixed and being treated poorly over something as minor as a bottle of water left a very negative impression. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The best attribute is the convenient location near USC. If you are visiting the University, you can't go wrong with this choice. Nice having mini fridge in room. Room was a bit dated. Fresh towels I asked for were not delivered.

My family loves to stay at the USC Hotel when visiting our daughter, who attends USC. It is so convenient to have a hotel across the street from the university. In fact, my parents stayed at this hotel (it was a Hilton at the time) when I attended USC. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well-appointed.

The name should be Motel not Hotel

Our hotel room was mediocre however it was the standard room so we knew this going in. Really the worst part was that the door locks and their card system was constantly failing. We probably had to get new cards at least five different times over three evenings. At one point in time, we were even locked out out of our room for an extended period of time. We missed an important event because of it. We received hardly any acknowledgment of the inconvenience let alone reimbursement for inconveniences. I visit frequently and will not stay there again. Much better options just north in the city.,

The room was very clean and nice. No bad smells. Had a nice view out of the window. Felt very comfortable with everything.

The outdoor pool was absolutely wonderful!

Just old and my room happened to be facing only the parking structure. Personally, I’m not a fan of really low toilets and getting into the shower was a bit difficult. Check in was easy and parking was $50.

One of the males in housekeeping was not nice. I love the hotel it is in a prime location with several food options.

Great location, great staff. The AC in my room was super loud, though. I'm sure the staff would have addressed it, but I was too tired to deal with it. Fell asleep during a quiet period and it didn't wake me up after that.

It’s right by BMO Stadium, LA Coliseum and Expo Park. 2 LA Metro Stations. Jefferson St./USC is the closest station to the Hotel. The room was respectable. Not big. But definitely not tiny either. The only thing that kind of bugged me was the TV Controls were fairly slow. You really had to almost climb into the shower. Bed, was comfortable. Had no problem sleeping. Overall, I’d return again. It’s good value for money. The location is really nice and convenient. Metro E line is the public transit you want to use to get here. If there’s an event, I would go to at Galen Center (USC) This Hotel is almost next door!

Good staff very helpful

The room seems to have underwent some revamping; it looks fairly new, and there were thoughtful toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste, mouthwash, some of which are normally not provided by hotels unless you ask them. The complimentary bottled water was also a great plus. The bed was very comfy and the towels and bathrobe were thick and soft. The hotel is also close to the Exposition Park and several restaurants. Soundproofing not as good; can hear noises from the street at night, but usually hotels in downtown area are like this.

The hotel was nice and clean. Checking-in was terrible as the staff member behind the desk was in a terrible and grumpy mood at first. Then he was unnecessarily argumentative. I'm not sure what his problem was, but was entirely unfriendly and even rude at times.
- 5/5

It’s an old hotel. Bathroom in tiny and you have to climb to get in the shower. It’s a little loud with street traffic. I chose to stay here again because it is so convenient being so close to USC. Front desk staff are nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Hotel is nice and very convenient to USC. I gave only four stars for the hotel’s maintenance because the gym sorely needs some equipment for its Precor machine. There are two cables but only one attachment to use for lifting weights. Another guest used the machine by grabbing the quick link that is at the end of the cable. More equipment is needed.

the room was not cleaned well... crumbs in the bed; the shower did not work; the furniture was old and scuffed up, no luggage carts were available- when I asked for help the employee told me to look under the stairwell (I had looked prior to requesting assistance) / he looked ~ saw no cart, I was on the elevator by then - the staff joined me and began to push the button for every floor of the elevator on the guest elevator - a further inconvenience by this staff(he could have used the service elevator) how was he going to check each floor with guest on an elevator ?? when I asked him not to push every floor that he was being rude - he replied "I'm checking for a cart for you!" Please, how can he stop check each floor on the guest elevator - doesn't he have to get off and look beyond the elevator door area; down each hallway to see if the cart is on a floor?? Not a good choice by the staff, a rude reply and I never received a call- as the phone in my room did not work, OR a cart OR of the courtesy of a staff assistance. I am totally disappointed with my stay at the Radisson USC. I was offered a courtesy lower rate for a next night - I did not have a next night; and a bottle of water. I've stayed at this location over the 21 years I worked for USC and this was a most disappointing stay. A Totally Disappointing Stay. Dr. Rhonda Thornton

Front desk concierge who “helped” check us in was rude. We checked in around 11:45 pm. He was rude when he said the system was down and he didn’t know what room to place us in. Had to wait 10 minutes for him to find a room, whole time he held no eye contact and after he checked us in and gave us room keys I said thank you and he did not respond.

The property and rooms were clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location near DTLA and the freeway, with easy access to the hotel parking garage. Extremely over priced for the condition & non-existent amenities. Restaurant next door closed till 7pm, not even a cup of coffee in the hotel. Doors in bathroom cording. Curtains are so old they don’t move. Parking $45. Go elsewhere.

It is a dated hotel but the rooms were big and the staff amazing. I found the staff and room size more than made up for the age. We used the restaurant for breakfast and that also was a great breakfast location. The location is not only close tu USC but also to downtown.

We booked this hotel as part of our ca college tour and USC was our last stop. We arrived and had to wait to check in for 1 hour and a half. The we were shown to a room that smelled damp, had water damaged ceiling, pealing wallpaper and headboards with peeling padding. We stayed in the room for 39 min and decided we cannot stay there once the ac came on to a rattling sound. We checked out and told the front desk of our disappointment. They promised a full refund, which I still have to receive. Very disappointed.
- 2/5
The room was extremely noisy, so I asked to change rooms. The receptionist was abrupt and then said they had one room I could be switched to on a higher floor. This room as just as noisy with an additional generator noise. I found it very difficult to sleep even with ear plugs. In the morning I let the receptionist know but he said 'Well - we are surrounded by highways - there is nothing we can do about it'... Therefore it is important for people to know that traffic noise is very loud in all rooms as they all face a highway.

Room was a bit dated but clean and functional. Compared to some other similar hotels I stayed, I was happy with USC hotel. Breakfast had good selections, offered hot food options which was nice. My family was very pleasant with this. I didn't use the swimming pool but it looked clean and nice, there were other families hanging out as well. Check in process was quite delayed; but this was addressed by the front desk staff and I appreciated that.

Staff was great. Breakfast was really good, but really expensive. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable, but had to rent a microwave at $10/day if i wanted one. Bath/shower is terrible. The bathtub is raised 6 inches at least off the floor so its pretty treacherous getting in and out. The shower head was shoulder height and I'm only 5'10". No coffee in the lobby in the morning. No late checkout unless you want to pay a $70 fee for an extra hour. If not for the location, i would never stay here.

I enjoyed the stay, and I've stayed here many times over the years, way back when it was a Radisson. Excellent location. Very well-maintained. A block from Expisition Park and across the street from one of the main USC entrances. If your kids do summer camp at USC like mines, that's typically the entrance where the campers meet on Figueroa. Also, lots of eateries nearby and LA Live is 10 mins. away.

The hotel wasn't far from the event we attended. In the middle of the night, the wall-mounted air conditioner began making an extremely loud and alarming noise, which forced us to turn it off out of concern that it might explode. This left us without air circulation or cooling. We contacted the front desk, and we were informed that a maintenance ticket would be submitted. However, no one came to address the issue.

- 5/5
Stay was great! It's always a pleasure to stay at USC Hotel. Close to everything and the restaurant next door has a great continental breakfast for $30 that has so much to offer.
- 4/5
This was a very nice hotel. It's close to downtown. Easy to get to shopping. Alot of restaurants near by. Its safe, clean, real nice. The little details were very elegant. It is pricey though as far as room service and snacks for sale. I didn't like that they didn't have a way to warm your food up. You have to pay $10 a night for a microwave, which it should've had anyway. But that was my knly problem. Other than that good place to stay while enjoying Cali. Definitely recommend. If i ever go back ill be staying there.

The hotel facilities are quite old. Although the staff were friendly, our street-facing room was extremely noisy throughout the night, with constant sirens from fire trucks, ambulances, and motorcycles. The hair dryer was faulty and would trip the power whenever it was set to high.

We did not eat there. The bathrooms at mid level sinks did not work. front desk attendant did not understand the problem. The window shades are in an awkward place. But overall the room was nice and the view toward the campus was great. There seems to be a lot of trash on the main road and on the campus, which is not part of the hotel. Parking is expensive. I'm glad we parked on the street

- 3/5
The room was fine, comfortable bed, quiet, nice hot shower with good water pressure. My only complaint was the lack of communication. For example, we had to figure out on our own how to get from the garage into the hotel, then how to get into the garage with our key cards. At one point, we asked for more water and they told us to get it from the gym, but gave us zero directions to where the gym was or that a particular door had to be used. They had us running all over the hotel when just a little bit more communication could’ve helped. Other than that the location is good and it was a fine stay.
- 5/5
My one priority was to swim in the pool every night. Coming from Seattle, I had no idea it wouldn’t be heated. Still, even with this sad, sad obstacle, we had a wonderful time.

- 5/5
Yes. I love it! I loved I so much that I will stay another night here!
- 1/5
Nobody came to clean room or provide new towels. And there were bugs.
- 1/5
I didn’t even check in the hotel I was sick and couldn’t make they trip they kept the money I payed for the room, we called to make a reservation for the same night and we were told that they were booked no more available rooms. Therefore it wouldn’t have cost them anything to refund what I payed for the reservation entirely!
- 5/5
Front desk Martha was amazing. Supwr helpful. 12/19-12/21 checkout. Rooms on first floor have tall ceilings and big rooms. Love all the USC photos & room decor
- 5/5
Campus view room gets traffic noise from busy Figueroa st.
- 1/5
they charge $40 parking fee per night without telling. o hope people see this before they book it.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff! Room was clean, and tidy!

- 5/5
We have stayed here several times and you cannot beat the location. USC Hotel is directly across the street from USC, making it extremely convenient to go to any USC events. In addition, there are many spectacular museums that are a very easy half mile walk from the hotel. There are a plethora of restaurants within easy walking distance and several stores as well. The area is safe and lively. Because it has a main road on one side and highway 110 behind it, it is a bit noisy though and the windows don’t block it much, but with ear plugs in we slept well. You really don’t need a car when staying here, but if you have one, self-parking costs $40/day and is conveniently in a parking structure directly behind the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Martha at the front desk who easily worked out our reservation changes.
- 3/5
Room was okay, beds were uncomfortable and bathroom door was difficult to close.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Great large room and perfect location.
- 5/5
Everything is good except parking is expensive there.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, nice parking, clean room and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Great service we really enjoyed our stay
- 4/5
The parking is an extra $40/night. The food options were only available certain nights. But for my needs the location was convenient and I found the staff to be knowledgeable and accommodating for the most part. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and so is the rest of the hotel.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Very convenient location for a visit to USC. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the rooms have the very loud air conditioning units that sound like an airplane taking off. Property itself was nice and quiet during our stay.
- 5/5
Staff is amazing! Clean room! Great beds !
- 5/5
Room was spotless and service was great
- 5/5
Rooms clean,Hotel convenient to all USC activities.
- 5/5
The service is always great the rooms are incredible highly recommended!!

Very bare bones. Would it hurt you to have a coffee cart in the morning?
- 5/5
Very clean
- 3/5
staff was courteous, ac in room was very noisy
- 5/5
This was my first time staying here and I absolutely enjoyed it. If I could stay an extra night, I would. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that’s in the USC area.

- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Stunning top floor view of the campus, premium bedding/sheets, wonderful 24/7 service and care, as well as awesome anemities (A dip in the Jacuzzi on a cold night is a must). Overall, amazing hotel!
- 5/5
- 5/5
Good Stay
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
extra hour
- 5/5
Sheets were so soft!
- 1/5
Key to the room would not work. Had to make 4 trips to front desk to get into my room. Staff found it funny
- 3/5
If your room is facing Figueroa, be prepared for noise all night.
- 2/5
Nice hotel but had issues with the key card. Between it not working in the elevator or the room, it took two hours to try to get into the room and get my stuff inside. Seems like the simple fix would have been to just find a new room but there was no sense of urgency and had to keep following up to see if they were still fixing the issue. I understand technical difficulties but i feel like there was a workaround that could have happened and was never offered even after they found out this room had been having issues previously.
- 5/5
Staff were great. Room was spacious and clean
- 5/5
Everyone was very kind and easy to talk to but the halls and my hotel room smelled like marijuana the whole time.
- 3/5
The bathroom is very tiny! And not the best breakfast.
- 5/5
Everything was good, clean, professional, and respectful. Thank you. You had a great time and I enjoy the stay.
- 5/5
Pleasant hotel, slightly dated, in a convenient location at USC.
- 5/5
Great location great rates nice stzffp
- 5/5
Great staff, spacious and comfortable room, nice amenities. Super convenient and easy for my visit to USC. Would absolutely stay again and again.
- 5/5
Great location for going to the awesome museums or the USC campus. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Train to the beaches is an easy walk from the hotel.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and clean ,great view .the staff were nice and helpful on every question.the food there it is so delicious I recommended going there again
- 5/5
The check in desk guys were awesome! Rooms are older but clean. Love the location.
- 4/5
- 5/5
Clean hotel and friendly staff
- 5/5
Great service excellent room
- 4/5
Nice hotel right off the USC campus. Staff is friendly. Water is hot in the shower. Cleaning staff is fast and efficient. Only issue was the windows leaked all the siren noise into the room all night. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Walking distance to stadium
- 5/5
Safe stay
- 4/5
Very convenient for USC college visit. Average amenities.
- 5/5
It was a great place!
- 5/5
Didn’t have breakfast but wish I did
- 5/5
This was my third time staying here and i love it more and more each time. Check in was smooth and easy as usual. It’s a convenient location for getting to concerts downtown and within walking distance to The Shrine venue. This will always be my go to hotel!
- 5/5
- 4/5

- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
Friendly staff, rooms clean and comfy beds
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and nice, had a great stay
- 3/5
Staff was great but the bathroom had no ventilation and it would get pretty steamy in the room after taking a shower.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
The staff were super kind and patient with all of the people that were in town for a concert as they were checking in and checking out at the same time. Huge props to the lady who was only on her second week of working, I’m sure that was probably overwhelming for her but she handled everything with great professionalism and care
- 5/5
Very nice to stay for my collegevisit
- 5/5
Great room! Friendly staff. Would stay here again for sure!
- 5/5
All good!
- 5/5
Clean room with good amenities, I loved the place.
- 5/5
Great hotel. convenient location and nearby restaurants was great
- 4/5
Great service. Great price.
- 5/5
Beautiful room and very comfortable beds. House keeping staff and check in staff were wonderful, professional, informative and kind
- 2/5
Well first when the listing on the site says "buffet breakfast" you assume its included like every hotel. Not here. The website is misleading. I looked after they tried to charge us. It says its $25 a person at the very bottom of the of the hotel description but when you get to the buffet they try and charge you $30 a person. $30 a person for a buffet is insane. We went down the street to a local restaurant for $40 total for a hot good breakfast. The showers have absolutely no hot water pressure. Cold water has mediocre pressure. The tubs look like they put another tub on top of the first one so its a least a 2 foot step down to get out of the shower. Very dangerous. Almost fell both times. Because of the tubs being so high if your tall like I am 6'2" you stand almost 10 inches about the shower head so showering is an issue. They painted the tub in the shower and the paint is peeling. Very disappointing when you charge a premium for your hotel to see.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This was our second time staying here and I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice room and good service.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking garage being so close was a huge plus and made us feel our car was secure during our stay.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was fine. The biggest sell for us was its nearness to BMO Stadium.
- 5/5
The staff at the USC Hotel are all amazing. Check-in was abreeze
- 5/5
We liked that is was close to the BMO Stadium where we saw a concert, easily walkable.
- 4/5
Great location
- 3/5
Ok but not great. Rooms are need updating (peeling paint, plumbing not great), noisy by freeway, pool nice but freezing cold. We requested early check in and pre registered but didn’t get access to our rooms until after 4pm due to an hour long wait at check in. Staff was very polite and pleasant however but was expecting more for the $.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here multiple times and never had a problem! Clean room. The staff were so welcoming! I would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
This property does cater to the business travelers or the needs of the campus life. Most facilities for dining were not seven days a week. Some things were closed on the weekend.
- 5/5
Good for staying for concert in the area
- 5/5
8 minute walk to BMO Stadium, clean rooms, great staff, would stay again for sure.
- 4/5
The hotel shows its age but very clean and nice otherwise.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 2/5
I was promised king bed,got a very small bed instead
- 5/5
If you're going to a concert at BMO, this place is easy walking distance! Definitely super convenient, and rooms are spacious.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Real good spot
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't try breakfast. The coffee Wolfgang Puck blend in the room is good.
- 5/5
Excellent helpful front desk and staff.
- 5/5
The experience all in all was great, Abraham who checked me in was really nice and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff. Parking was pricey but that’s LA
- 5/5
The hotel is conveniently close to USC and BMO Stadium. It was well kept and very clean. High marks A+++++++++++
- 4/5
Excellent overall
- 4/5
Friendly staffs
- 4/5
The room is clean
- 5/5
Wish i could've stayed longer, but I did enjoy the time I was there. Staff was very helpful and understanding. Would go again for a longer stay.
- 4/5
The rooms are truly a hit or miss. It’s a great location if visiting USC but we have stayed in rooms that felt like a 2 star motel to a 4 star hotel so I am not sure how to rate this. I’d stay again for the convenience of visiting usc, but I would stay away from rooms that face the parking lot and some with older bathrooms.
- 3/5
No list of amenities I dont know if that have a gym or a pool. I heard in the past they used to play usc band music in elevator. Had pastries. Not anymore For the price continental breakfast or at least coffee should be included. Conveniently to usc and the coli.
- 5/5
Close to the station and the BMO stadium.
- 2/5
Additional charge without explanation and request was not done...
- 5/5
The hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. Would stay here again
- 5/5
Very convenient for USC parent! Stayed a few times. Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel in a good location, next to Metro E line and a few connecting buses. The staff are friendly and professional, and the amenities are quite decent as well.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff
- 3/5
Friendly staff, accommodated early check-in. Convenient location to college campus; however, no shuttles at all or nearby bus available on weekends. Lobby, room, gym was clean and nice but bathrooms in need of upgrade - tubs are too high off floor and not necessary.
- 5/5
Great location for watching a concert at the Shrine Auditorium
- 5/5
They were very accommodating, clean room, nice staff
- 5/5
Clean, modern, quiet hotel right next to the school. Arrived 3 hours early and they graciously accommodated me with an early check in.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
The hotel is very convenient for walking and dining. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was nice.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at the USC Hotel. Kenneth at the front desk was incredibly kind and helped me change my room to a beautiful one, which made my two-night stay so enjoyable. I’m very grateful for his outstanding service and would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Dining was outside the hotel
- 5/5
Vv
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
It’s my 4th time staying here and the location of the hotel makes it really easy to go to concerts anDTLA for a great price.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean facility . Welcoming atmosphere
- 4/5
The gym and pool area were very clean & nice. Staff was friendly. However, at night lots of loud partying on our floor. Doors slamming, people carrying on... then someone knocked on our door at 4:00am waking us up. Hotel sought to make up for it with a very late check-out. Our second stay at USC Hotel. First one was much better!
- 5/5
Well maintained and clean room. Jacuzzi was nice. The gym had great equipments. Hotel is perfect location (walking distance) for nearby concerts at BMO. USC across the street is a beautiful sight to see.
- 5/5
Staff writer as very forked my and helpful.
- 5/5
Very clean, very friendly staff, and awesome location!
- 5/5
It was a good experience. Everything was nearby. USC exposition park right around the corner. Restaurant and Starbucks literally underneath or right by the hotel walking distance two minutes.
- 5/5
Clean room & friendly staff
- 5/5
We stayed here for a weekend family visit. Our room was right next to the pool which was very convenient for us. Rooms are a little dated, but overall stay was nice.
- 3/5
I was traveling to LA for an LAFC match and I needed a place close to the stadium with EV charging stations in the hotel so this was the best option. The hotel is fine, definitely USC themed, more than I expected, and since I am not affiliated with the university, it was a little weird, but Still OK. Unfortunately, the place is literally falling apart. The paint on the tub/shower is peeling off in huge chunks, the window has giant cracks in it that are covered in plastic, the air conditioner, barely works and in LA that is a dealbreaker. It met the needs for what I needed for this particular trip, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to stay for any reasons other than that.
- 1/5
These people constantly wake you up early in the morning. I got woken up by the maid cleaning rooms at 8 o’clock in the morning checkouts not till 11 and even though I got late check out which is an extra $55. I still got harassed over and over again about what time I was leaving by the maids. This is not a good hotel if you wanna relax. and on top of that all night I heard the staff slamming doors coming in and out of the hallway and when I looked out, I saw it was the staff so I could verify who was doing it like I said before this is not a place you go to relax or rest.
- 5/5
great for BMO event
- 5/5
If you are ever wanting to go to USC this is the best place to stay. The staff and experience is great. We loved how we did not have to drive after a late game and we were able to walk across the street and go to bed. The Trojans have a top notch staff and the experience is nothing short of what you would expect from USC.
- 3/5
So I stayed at the hotel cuz it was convenient to the coliseum and I was there for a football game. They just really need to do some upgrades on the hotel. You've got to step way up to get into the bathtub in the shower and even then like the tub part of the thing need to be refinished or replaced and had big old brown spots on it just didn't look appealing. Secondly, there's like very little to no water pressure and then it would vary like you're in there and it would go up and down while you're standing there. Trying to take a shower. The air condition made a rattling noise all night long. Not the worst but certainly not worth the $350 some bucks I paid
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Needs some updating in rooms. The garage elevator still broken.
- 5/5
The hotel is well taken care of and you feel fresh and clean there.
- 5/5
clean room great staff, will definitely, come back.
- 3/5
The hotel was over all nice but there was a lot of traffic going in and out of rooms at all hours of the night. And the room had two adjoining doors on each side that sound carried through. The sound of a couple enjoying each other company could be heard all night. Other than that it was a nice hotel
- 2/5
Too noisy. The insulation around the door is inadequate. I can hear people talking in the hallway, opening/closing their doors, etc.
- 5/5
Perfect for the USC game
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Thanks University Hotel
- 5/5
Thanks University Hotel
- 4/5
Great option if you’re attending a concert at bmo stadium. Within walking distance.
- 2/5
The hotel tried to scam me and charged me for 110$ for nothing. Then I noticed that and send them a massage about it, they answered it was accidentally. But I don't believe it.
- 5/5
Staff here goes above and beyond love this hotel
- 4/5
The shower was an adventure. The shower head was apparently installed prior to the tall tub. I had to squat to get my hair rinsed. The water temperature will not stay consistent and alternated between cool and scalding. I'd be worried about a younger kid using the shower.
- 5/5
This hotel is so conveniently located near the BMO stadium where I needed to get to for a concert. I don’t normally rent a car when I travel so a good variety of spots I can walk to is important. I needed an early check in, and the staff (Thank you, Marta!) was super accommodating to my needs. I would love to stay here again.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Really convenient location if you are visiting usc. Highly rec paying extra for a campus view or deluxe instead of standard. The rooms are a world of difference. I’ve stayed at the standard room facing a parking garage and it was old and miserable. This time stayed at a campus view room and it was amazing and in much better condition.
- 3/5
Old property
- 5/5
Great hotel. Nice facilities, quiet, good water, pressure.
- 5/5
$40/night for parking And there’s no breakfast Other than that it’s a great place to stay when visiting LA
- 2/5
The outdated AC unit kept me up all night. It was so loud. The pillows added to the uncomfortable sleepless night, as well.
- 4/5
Everything was great, needs a bit of an update in my opinion and the bed was. Little hard but other than that, great! Staff was very kind!
- 5/5
Our stay at the USC HOTEL was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the front desk coordinator welcomed us , found the immediately available room ( room with better accommodations and a great view!) . The hotel team members were really friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Check in at the desk was awful. The person was rude and makes me doubt if I’d ever come here again. While waiting in the lobby I saw the same guy treating everyone exactly the same. He’s just awful.
- 5/5
Easy access to campus
- 5/5
Love it!
- 5/5
Excellent for attending events in USC and orientation, freshmen move in etc. Comvenient walk across the road from USC campus and parking on premises. Excellent breakfast buffet within hotel and Dining options are plenty and metro rail on Expo blvd right next to hotel. 5min walk has Expo tourism sites like california science museum, Rose garden, history museum ,space museum and stadium for major game events for football. Starbucks next to hotel too. Can get pricy during main events but nothing beats location and convenience.
- 5/5
Being a USC alum, of course I LOVE this hotel. But, the front desk was truly amazing and the stay is always great!
- 5/5
Nice ,clean , close walk to Bmo stadium and museum
- 5/5
It was close to the venue for a concert that my daughter and I were attending. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy. The AC worked well - my daughter and I need it cold in order to sleep well. Excellent experience
- 3/5
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Absolutely divine
- 5/5
If you’re visiting USC, this is the best experience I could imagine. Love the complimentary coffee and water. Super comfortable room. The shower head was way too low for me at 6’1” but that’s not uncommon. Great job and Fight On!
- 2/5
The AC in the room is noisy.
- 5/5
So convenient to the SC campus. Didn’t have to worry about traffic and parking.
- 5/5
Convien
- 4/5
I enjoyed the convenience and how nice the staff were at check in. I wish a microwave was more easily accessible, however other than that; parking was great, location was great, and a good amount of the staff was friendly.
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Perfect location for visiting USC families.
- 5/5
Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff!
- 2/5
The hotel is run down & do not get the side with the 110 hwy it is SO noisy & windows are old and single pane. The pool was dirty & jacuzzi cold.
- 4/5
Thanks for the roof over our heads. 🙏
- 1/5
We can't to watch tv because the tv hasn't sound, in the front desk say: we sorry the maintenance person is not here. Very expensive hotel with very bad service.
- 5/5
I always stay at USC Hotel when i attend concerts. It is easy to walk to The Shrine and BMO. I feel very safe walling in the area.
- 5/5
Nice and friendly staff
- 5/5
Super convenient place to stay if you’re going to events at BMO. The only drawback is the $40 parking.
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 5/5
We had a fabulous time
- 5/5
The hotel was super nice, super clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I would recommend everyone to stay there!
- 5/5
Had a really great stay and appreciate all of the safety measures in the hotel especially when traveling solo. The room was great as well. My only complaint is sound proofing of the outside traffic needs to be done. All throughout the night I heard traffic or sirens or honking both nights of my stay. It's a great location though if you will be seeing a show at BMO Stadium as it's like a 10 min walk away.
- 5/5
BMO stadium anyone?? This is the best closest hotel. No valet, just park and go. Fee of $40 per day which it's on the expensive side. Other than that; is was a pleasant stayed. We will stay here again.
- 4/5
Ac was not keeping room cold. Bath tub is very high and liability for falling. Text Communication was an hour wait for response.
- 4/5
Great stay to attend the BMO Stadium. Walking distance. Paper thin walls, every conversation can be heard. Black out drapes were broken, sun light beamed in. Windows were dirty. Shower was a terrible set up and terrible water pressure. Water got all over the bathroom floor. Only way to sleep was to ground out all noises by keeping A.C on continuously.
- 5/5
We stayed one night for a nearby concert at BMO stadium. The front desk was so kind and helpful and patient with all my questions. The room was nice and very comfortable. There were plenty of dining options nearby. Definitely am staying here next time.
- 5/5
The best food options are located in the university village which is about 15 min walk from hotel, but there was a wing stop right under the hotel which was a saving option for late night snack since the hotel dinning and room service ends at 10 pm. The room was comfortable but it took along time to be cleaned which eventually is done. Staff was friendly at chick in and check out but ignored us when walking into the hotel in and out. We stayed a week and yet every time we walk in staff at the front disk are looking at screens and not paying attention to any comers even when eye contacts made the did not offer any greetings. It was a minor issue but I wish that they work more on customer service. Hence, the USC is the only hotel in the area if you’re looking to be near USC. Pricing is acceptable considering the location. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 5/5
Unexpected, didn’t know USC had a hotel but very happy with everything from the stay to the surrounding area
- 5/5
The staff is so very kind.
- 4/5
great location for USC. staff was nice and property seemed clean.
- 4/5
Convenient location. Hotel is dated.
- 5/5
We had a blast the room service amenities top notch and its pet friendly too thank you so much
- 3/5
Not honest about parking
- 5/5
Great hotel! Staff welcomes you and very kind! Walking distance to dining places.
- 4/5
Liked my hotel room but wasn’t too impressed with McKays for breakfast. Server didn’t serve us timely especially when hardly any guest were in the restaurant.
- 5/5
Minutes from BMO stadium
- 5/5
- 5/5
Expect to pay for parking (currently $40). If you drive an electric vehicle, charging infrastructure is poor. There are only 2 Chargepoint chargers and they are weak on voltage and amperage. If I recall correctly, it was at 205v and charging at 20A. Chargers are to the right of the parking lot's exit.
- 4/5
Pretty good place to stay in LA but the fees for parking is just confusing
- 5/5
Excellent service provided by staff and team.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Horrible food… plus very expensive
- 5/5
Great location and wonderful service.
- 4/5
It was fine
