This place is an alright stay.We only stayed in town 1 night to attend a Dodgers game. The rooms are spacious and clean. The surrounding area of the hotel is a little crusty. Parking is definitely compacted.Get there early if you want to get a parking. If not, you have to park on the street, which is sus.
- 5/5
Honestly, it was beyond my expectations. The front desk was amazingly helpful. Hotel was spectacularly clean! Comfortable stay with my family. The plus was the parking.
- 4.5/5
Great place to stay for the price. The motel looks like it was just renovated so the room was very nice. Didn’t like they expect you to smoke in a designated smoking area - all other motels where I have stayed let you smoke anywhere outside. Parking in the front of the motel is rather limited, but there is a lot of parking spaces behind it.

Super close to park

Our room was towards the back of the property which was very quiet.

Very central to many places in L.A., close to neighboring coffee shops and breakfast. Quick walk to Echo Park. Hot water in the shower and cleanliness. Very close to a busy main street with lots of traffic. Not in the best neighborhood, loud noises from the street, and people who seem to live next door until late at night. Curtains did not close at the main window, so I had to create a makeshift system to keep them closed.

It was close to Dodger Stadium and the decor was nice. The staff were extremely rude. The parking was in a sketchy alley. I’m glad there was parking but I was worried about my car all night.

Ok spot for a quick stay, not being there for long only a quick nap/sleep, shower then out. Some of the towels had dirt on them and water pressure is soft but nothing much to complain about.

Nice room. Could really use coffee in the rooms or at least in the lobby. Good location to explore Echo Park.
- 5/5
Room was very clean, water pressure for the shower needs improvement but overall it was very nice.
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay for a Dodger game.

Location is great close to where we need to go! We had an unexpected staff member just use a key to come into the room unexpectedly didn't knock they! According to them they didn't know they room was taken and were trying to let another person use it! That was not okay good thing we had just came back at the end of the night early we had all our belongings there!

Coke machine was broken No guidance for internet Big dumpster outside blocking view. I booked this location
- 2.5/5
the location was the only dislike i had. hotel was on a busy street, can hear traffic all night, graffiti all over the neighborhood around the hotel
- 5/5
Parking is at front and at rear. The area is safe. Near freeway. There is a Mcdonald nearby. The rooms are renovated. It is clean
- 2/5
Noisy, are they remodeling while guests are staying on the 1st floor? I asked the night attendant to please tell the person above me to stop moving around furniture. TWICE and they kept it past midnight. The hardwood floors were very dirty. They must change bedding and move on to the next room, the floors had crumbs and hairs. Oily towels etc Owner of the property needs to speak to his day attendant on having Customer service skills. I asked for a copy of my Invoice and after told me that she wouldnt rent to me again. That was a lauging matter .
- 5/5
Perfect place for the price, excellent location
- 5/5
The room was excellent, clean, beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Parking was ok the only issue was they were remodeling some of the rooms so it was a little noisy during the day but it was convenient location if you’re going to the dodger game
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Accessible to good food places around.
- 4/5
I like to renovations, clean rooms and comfortable bed. TV needs to be a smart TV is my only critique.
- 5/5
Always a good stay
- 2/5
Parking was easy and air conditioning was great. I give this many stars because on my last night, the fridge and desk lamp both stopped working. I needed the desk light for an interview and the fridge to cool my food. Once the fridge stopped working, the freezer melted and soaked my sandwiches I needed for the next day and I had throw them away. I called the front desk to tell them and they didn’t apologize, do anything to fix it, give me another room or even reduce the charges of my stay. They just said it was most likely the construction in the building from earlier in the day that cut some wires. Not to mention how disturbing the noise was for the 3 day stay.
- 4/5
AC was cool.
- 2/5
Sheets had stains, floor didn't feel clean, multiple scratches on furniture, and overall just a feeling of grittiness. Very noisy, easy to hear the traffic, people outside, and in the rooms next door. We've stayed at places across from highways and freeways and have heard less than here. A/C worked really well and the staff were friendly. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Basics provided. For a no frills place, this is fine. But Expedia advertised this as a 450 sq ft room. It’s closer to 250 sq ft
- 4/5
Clean room, simple parking & fast service. Worth the price
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
Clean and neat with just the right amenities.
- 2/5
Extremely thin walls, constant noise outside, very little anemities (but you get what your pay for with that)
- 4/5
There was no breakfast.
- 5/5
It was exactly what we needed, the staff were great. Parking was easy, aloud us to catch up on cleaning out thebcsr on our trip. Will return!
- 4/5
Nothing fancy but the room was clean, the bed and linens were covered and the location is convenient to Silver Lake and much of LA. Plus, the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious. She checked me in fast, and was friendly.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay here again. Very nice and qaint....... friendly staff.... modern rooms. 2 miles from Silverlake party district.

Bed was uncomfortable and shower pressure was crazy hard and flooded the bathroom. Shower curtain did not help. Overall it was a mid stay. Great for walking to food places!! Loved Breakfast Republic! Masa Italian was good as well, Just Peachy for Matcha is good also! All off sunset
- 5/5
I’ve found my new home for Dodger games. 1.4 miles easy walk. Property has been renovated, just need to work on the entrance to the back parking. Everything is close by.
- 3/5
Clean room, nice staff when we checked in.

Clean room and good location
- 5/5
It’s a nice Inn, I enjoyed my stay for the night. The next morning when I checked out I was able to walk to the coffee shop down the street and down to the Flee market! Nothing to complain about it’s a casual place.
- 4/5
Small and affordable comfy room. Shower was nice and bathroom was clean. Was a great place to relax after a exciting trip
- 3/5
Room was decent, outside looked a bit janky but I guess that’s was expected given the area and that the place is a motel. It was only used for sleeping anyway.
- 4/5
The room was small but very clean. The neighborhood was shaky.
- 4/5
clean
- 2/5
I picked this hotel because it was close to my friends birthday venue, however, I found the room to be clean, but I felt like corners were cut when it came to cleanliness. There was a lot of dust and the floors could have been better cleaned as well. I did like the fact that everything I needed was walking distance!
- 3/5
So the only benefit of this place is its convenient proximity to Dodger Stadium and the Echoplex. That’s about it. It’s a bad area of LA and you wouldn’t feel really safe walking around at night. The hotel staff was great, friendly, accessible, and probably the best thing about the hotel. The hotel itself… is not that great. It’s very mid and or compatible to like a Motel 6. I did witness the staff washing the sheets and towels but they either need new machines or to reorder some towels/sheets. The towels and sheets smelled clean but they didn’t really look it. The towels had dark stains on them and some had a few hair follicles that weren’t mine. The sheets had negligible stains but if you’re really looking you’ll find them. Bugs easily got into the room somehow, especially small gnats and mosquitos. The shower was good at least, good pressure, and no leaks. My main issue was really the lack of cleanliness of the towels and the first set of sheets. Also the back parking looks pretty shady, don’t leave valuables in your car and careful at night! The entrance of the back parking lot as a deep dip and lower cars will definitely scrape front/back fenders no matter how slow you go. This place is only a bargain if you’re in town for a baseball game or for a concert. I will probably look for a spot in a better area next time.
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet place, the only thing was the mattress was sunken on both sides the only firm spot was the middle.
- 5/5
For the price and location you cant complain. I enjoyed my stay and it was near to dodger stadium and also some bars off of sunset.
- 3/5
It was clean; but did not like the location of the hotel.
- 5/5
Remodeled. 30 min walk to Dodger stadium. Lots of food trucks and restaurants on the way.
- 5/5
This is our preferred go-to hotel when we travel to Los Angeles for holiday weekends! Centrally located to Universal Studios, Santa Monica Pier, and downtown. Great food options within 10 minutes that are authentic and won't break the bank. Starbucks Reserve 1/2 mile away so that the lady can have her Starbucks coffee every morning before going out for the travels of the day. Perfect for Dodgers games also, less than 2 miles away! Best hotel value in Los Angeles!
- 3/5
Left my watch by accident when I called to say it’s there she claimed to not have it and the room was already checked out . I said I was comming anyway cuz the tracker said it was there and they all of a sudden found it . SMH
- 4/5
Just didn’t look as described. The name doesn’t indicate hotel or motel. It seems more like a motel.
- 3/5
Coming from San Diego just to watch the Dodgers Padres game at Dodger stadium. So it's very convenient because it's walkable distance to the stadium. But because it's right next to the freeway and they're fixing the road it was a little noisy but doable. It's great for one two nights. And very convenient walk to sunset Boulevard so in general very good bang for your buck
- 3/5
A decent little place near Dodger Stadium. Rooms are nice and clean. Parking in back is okay. Water pressure kinda lousy. Very convenient for access to eastside LA.
- 1/5
No hot water and was told they are fixing it. Bed was very uncomfortable, no extra blankets.
- 5/5
el checkin y todo lo demas estuvo perfecto, lo recomiendo
- 5/5
Very easy to get to dodgers games
- 5/5
Great place to stay if your going to the dodger game
- 5/5
Ive been staying here for the past 10 years and it always amazes me how clean and how there's so much tranquility.
- 3/5
Construction going on all night
- 4/5
I liked that it was very clean but price was too high for week day.
- 4/5
Very nice and convenient for the dodgers stadium! It is walkable but about 40 minutes but it was nice to see everything. By car only 7 minutes. The hotel is small but cozy, big enough for what needed to be done. Sleep!
- 4/5
The hotel itself was very nice. It served its purpose. It was very conveniently close to the venue that we were going to that evening. The only downfall is they don’t have enough parking.
- 4/5
It was okay. The room was clean but you can hear the street noise. We went to an event at dodgers stadium so it was nice for the location.
- 4/5
Quiet area, clean rooms . Plenty of places to eat literally a short walk up the street.
- 2/5
AC didn’t work, tiny room
- 5/5
I would stay again.
- 5/5
It was great and near our families home
- 1/5
Pillows to small, mattres super uncomfortable, shower has no pressure, area was super loud, dont recommend at all. Staff was nice at check in and check out
- 4/5
It was clean...
- 4/5
Close to Dodger Stadium.
- 5/5
Nice and helpful staff. Room was very clean.
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to dodger stadium and union station if you need to catch a game or ride a bus!
- 3/5
It was ok, it was close to the stadium. looks better on the picture. I was clean.
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful and nice. Room was clean. Traffic noise is very loud but it is a heavily traveled street. Convenient to Dodger Stadium.
- 3/5
Noisy AC.
- 4/5
Overall your typical hotel. Rooms are clean and affordable. Only down side this trip was the shower head was broken so hardly any water would come out
- 5/5
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough and the customer service was good. Very convenient if you’re going to the game.
- 4/5
The trip was nice. Drive to Dodger Stadium was easy. The only thing was the parking was limited due to the property size. Would stay there again.
- 1/5
the 2 basic points of getting a hotel room are to get some sleep & to shower. this was a dumpy motel that was overpriced, way too loud to sleep, the pillows seriously need to be replaced. they’re like empty bags. i wish i trusted the poor reviews & stayed somewhere else. i really don’t like to complain but even with earplugs i couldn’t sleep the whole 2 nights.
- 4/5
Very basic accommodation but very clean and well maintained. Perfect location to walk to our daughter’s place.
- 3/5
You can here traffic. Not far from Dodger stadium. Bout a 37-40 min walk.
- 5/5
Always a good stay at the Lexmar. Perfect hotel for a Dodger game. Clean, easy parking, nice staff. Thanks!
- 2/5
Imagine going to a hotel without running hot water that was the issue at this hotel that I stayed at as soon as I walked through the front door, I got greeted by a gentleman named Glenn. He did not let me know that they were having an issue with the hot water if he had, I would’ve made a decision to stay elsewhere. So I got to my room and was ready to take a shower from a long drive and get ready for my anniversary outing. I had to be somewhere by 7 o’clock and by the time I found out that there was no running hot water. It was already too late to try to find another place. It was around 5 o’clock when I decided to take a shower. I turned on the water and let it run, but yet no hot water. I went to the front desk and told him that hot water was not working. He said oh yeah we are having an issue with the hot water. I said I am on my menstrual cycle,How am I supposed to wash up? He said give me a second. Let me call my manager so I did and his manager said to go turn the hot water on and off and it should kick back on within 5 to 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and it did not kick back on. I went back to the front desk to let them know. They told me that maintenance will be on the way soon at that time. It was way too late to wait for maintenance and take a shower to go to my anniversary party. As soon as I was ready to go and my Uber was outside. They called my room and told me that the hot water was working and this was at 710. They did not do anything for the inconvenienc.
- 2/5
Everything was either dusty or sticky. All around, customer service was great/excellent, but the hotel/motel.. never staying again
- 1/5
I only used this place to sleep and take a quick shower. I got up early because I had an appointment (that’s why I stayed at the hotel to avoid traffic) and they called me for noise complaints.
- 4/5
Close to where we spending our time. I suggest checking in early to avoid a street-facing room.
- 4/5
From the outside, this looks like a rundown, and frankly gross motel. However, I will say that once I got into the room, it was really nice. It was clean and they seem like they are really trying inside the rooms to make you comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but its a 5 minute walk to the #4 bus to dodger stadium, so that was easy. Totally sufficient for 1 night but I would not stay longer.
- 3/5
Not a bad place to crash for the night if in that area and looking for something inexpensive with some on site parking that’s no charge.
- 5/5
Nice stay close to the stadium
- 3/5
Nice and clean small hotel. Friendly staff and good service. The room was pretty clean and maintained. My only complain would be the bed mattress, which was softer than desired. It was probably the quality and the use. The parking is limited and I had to park in part on a dirt section at the end of the lot. One has to return early to have a parking spot. Other than that it was a decent and nice stay.
- 5/5
Very clean and neat place near alot of local stores
- 5/5
Close to stadium and clean
- 5/5
Easy access
- 3/5
We had no issues with location or staff. Area was alright, we walked to get dinner. Room was small and beds for 4 people.
- 5/5
We had a good stay
- 5/5
Close to Dodgers stadium
- 4/5
Good!
- 4/5
Plenty of towels is a must thank you lexmar
- 5/5
It was very cozy, nice, & quiet. Always someone on the premises to assist
- 5/5
Nice location near Dodger Stadium. Clean room. Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Free parking OK neighborhood Starbucks five minutes away walking the shower was hot bathroom clean nice clean bed. Lots of pillows. Small fridge nice TV. Simple Motel got the job done.
- 5/5
It was convenient
- 1/5
you get what you pay for, staff is nice. it’s someone what clean but not detailed clean. comes with fridge and microwave. would definitely disinfect everything especially if you have kids. walls are very thin so you hear everything from people walking up to their rooms, as well as the cars speeding down alvarado. parking is limited in front of the hotel but plenty of parking in the back. if you have a low car that scrapes be careful driving into the back parking.
- 2/5
Parking is limited, check in and out was quick, it was an okay stay.
- 3/5
Noisy
- 2/5
No shampoo in the dispenser and no wi-fi connection even though the hotel says they have it.
- 2/5
No amenities at all. No coffee no Kleenex had to get replacement keys because ours stopped working. Had to phone and wait for attendant
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
A call asking me to close my bedroom door, when I walked to get something I forgot in my vehicle
- 1/5
Although I was charged for an Expedia booking for two nights, the property unilaterally decided to back date the booking dates and ask the guest to leave after one night stay only. When I complained to Expedia about the breach of agreement and the double charge, all what they did was to shower me with apologies and offering a minor compensation ... not even in cash but in Expedia credit .
- 3/5
Standard LA hotel that isn’t a chain. Could be cleaner. Obvious wear and tear, but bed was comfortable, shower was fine, free parking was a huge plus, and minimal noise.
- 1/5
Lots of homeless aggressive people around. Very unsafe. Staff was terrible, completely unfriendly, rude, angry and deplorable.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 3/5
Bed not that comfortable. No amenities. Noisy street noise. Pricey for what you get.
- 3/5
Bed sheets had a few oil stains. As well as no blurred curtains, therefore, no natural sunlight unless viewing it to the parking lot
- 4/5
Old hotel but kept clean. The hotel could use a renovation, especially the springy beds. The area in which the hotel is none desirable but we didn’t have any issues with the people loitering around there. The staff was very friendly and made it easy to check in. Although we weren’t impressed with the hotel, it’s in a centralized area, which means we would consider staying there again in the future when we go to a Dodger game or explore downtown. It’s a couple of miles away from the Dodger stadium and maybe 5 miles away from El Capitan Theater. Overall solid hotel.
- 5/5
minutes away. The room was CLEAN with zero issues. Microwave, (cold) fridge, iron, extra towels, liquid soaps, but no coffee maker. The location is right on Sunset, so the street traffic is terribly noisy (which cannot be changed). I brought ear plugs and suggest you do the same. Highly recommend The Lexmar!
- 4/5
There was no coffee. The room did not have a coffee maker, the office did not have any coffee at all. Our option was to walk down to a market about a block away.
- 5/5
Great room, property well cared for, room had all the essentials. Bed was clean and comfortable, work table was handy. Everything worked as it should. Right off the #4 and #2 bus line for quick access. Sunset Blvd offered a lot of dining and services within a few minutes walk.
- 3/5
Good for short time
- 4/5
Overall, the place was really nice. I was impressed. I thought it was gonna be worse not bad at all.
- 1/5
This was by far the nastiest hotel I’ve stayed in. The staff were sweet during check in and that’s the only plus. The bathroom was filthy. The sheets had a blood stain on it. The shower sprayed water from the top. The toilet was dirty and the towels had yellow stains. I will never stay here again.
- 5/5
It was quiet and clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Fast and easy
- 5/5
A/C wasn’t updated in my room so it was either freezing or not cold enough. Parking seemed scarce so I always felt lucky when I found a spot. Lastly, I did have some slight issues with the card swipe on the door but I was able to make it work. Other than that it was a fine experience for one night
- 4/5
For the price you can’t beat it. Close to the dodger stadium, parking sucks and the entrance to the ally is a bit sketchy and narrow. But over all for a one night stay I’d do it again
- 4/5
Convenient location, walking distance to Dodger Stadium.
- 4/5
This is great for going to Dodger Stadium. A short Uber ride each way
- 5/5
We didn't quite like the area my husband and I thought the hotel was right by dodger stadium and it wasn't the neighborhood isn't right for us! The woman I spoke to when I booked this hotel told me that it is right by dodger stadium and it is NOT so she lied to me I think I deserve my full refund back
- 5/5
Nice room and good customer service!
- 3/5
Its okay, room had a weird smell.
- 2/5
There was a large cockroach in the shower!
- 3/5
My only problem was the bed, it has some metal case that makes a lot of noise by little contact.
- 3/5
The location was not bad. I honestly felt safe. However, I requested a room with Wheelchair accessibility, They apparently provided the room with this. When I got there, the room was wide, however, for someone who needs to be in their wheelchair The whole time they did NOT accommodate this. I had to ask my Friend to stay at another location because they couldn’t stay with me. We had to do rotations between sleeping here and at Children’s Hospital.
- 2/5
Everything was will until i went to check out , i was told upon arrival no smoking of any kind at the hotel and go to the street , which i followed. Asked to check out, she says okay, radios an employee to check the room and says 'it smells like weed and there was weed crumbs . Im like ... okay... well i didnt smoke in the room i went to the street like you guys said, and she asked if i rolled weed in there and told me i shouldnt roll weed up the room i paid for which is craaaazy. And acted like she wasnt going to give a deposit back .
- 4/5
Great location, clean place and very nice front desk staff. Great value for the price.
- 1/5
Refrigerator was really nasty and smelled really bad and was also leaking water inside of it. There was dust everywhere as well. It needs better cleaning as people wouldn't want to stay at a hotel that isnt properly sanitized for guests and as well as having a proper working fridge for those who need it
