I loved everything about the property. Clean room, wonderful staff.

There was a mix up with the room but they were so helpful and even gave us credits to use for the inconvenience. The Ladida rooftop and bar was so lovely. Their breakfast was so good. Everything was close by as well less then 10 mins to rodeo drive.

Excellence stay for my guest and I for a short 1-night turn around. The bathtub did leak to the room below because it was not setup with proper drainage outside the shower tub.

I know it’s Beverly Hills so I shouldn’t complain but $75 for parking/day is extortionate. Also, room service is great but also comically expensive. I’m showing my lack of class I suppose but it was shocking to say the least. Staff is friendly. Property is beautiful. Just feels like you’re getting taken advantage of a little.
- 5/5
I’m having a great time and the staff are so supportive and welcoming.

So convenient and comfortable! Walking distance from the Beverly Center Mall, lots of restaurants and attractions! Hotel is comfortable, rooms are spacious and staff is helpful!

Room was better than the photos and a much higher standard if room than the daily rate suggests. In room amenities like Byredo and Frete are luxury level!

The hotel was very fun and nice overall. Excellent service, food, and front desk staff. And, the room was amazing. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and our room was upgraded. We really appreciate this! Love this hotel and will stay here again.

A fire in my floor. No communication from mngmt. I left and battled for a refund
- 5/5
Very quirky and but pretty hotel. Still feels a little like a boutique hotel even though it's now a Marriott property. But, like most Marriotts, the staff is well trained, helpful, and they actually seem to be enjoying their work. They were chatty and very kind. Great location in Beverly Hills and we got a very reasonable rate. A great stay and we will visit again!

The overall stay was great - the staff was friendly, the amenities were as needed, the rooftop pool was great. The room was spacious, we got an adapter downstairs for EU socket, waters resupplied daily. The location wasn't as close to walkable destinations and the breakfast could have provided some variety.

Highly recommend this beautiful hotel, with exceptionally friendly staff. The property and rooms are kept very clean and in great condition. We used the fitness center and were pleased with the cleanliness and amenities. They have several computer (mirror) interfaces but those systems aren't easy to use if you're not familiar with it. The front desk informed me that someone could walk me through set up, but I chose not to use them. Ate breakfast there every day and the food was delicious. All in all a great stay and would definitely go back!

Clean room, great staff, allowed early check in, complimentary drink inside room upon arrival, allowed storing of luggage until room was ready, asked for a microwave brought one right up. Treated us very well I will definitely be back.

I love SLS Beverly Hills
- 3/5
They charge a $35 daily resort fee that isn't justified (credit towards their dining, which shouldn't be required), and $70 daily parking, which is unreasonable. The valet service is excellent, but still shouldn't be that expensive.

They put us in the WORST room in the house on the 2nd floor immediately above the loading dock where we heard every single delivery, back up beep and slammed truck door all night long.

Our room credits were not applied properly, still waiting for the bill adjustment. We waited over an hour past check in time for one of our rooms. The rooms are loud with street noise close to the ground level. We had a fire alarm go off one night at 10:30pm and had to exit. The bars and restaurants all close very early and there are no gathering spots for groups to enjoy.
- 5/5
Really nice accommodations and reasonably priced for Beverly Hills. Remember overnight parking is very expensive ($75) per night.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at the SLS, the staff were very friendly, accomodating and responsive, we were particularly appreciative of a very early check in and an upgrade to a room with space for a rollaway bed. Other highlights included the outdoor pool which was warm in December and it’s a cool area with a good views, pool tables on every floor, fun modern art, a trendy patio with a fireplace, a clean gym with a range of workout options, free shuttle to anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel and we also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant. So happy we chose the SLS!!!

- 3/5
This is a very cool hotel with a great vibe. The staff are genuinely friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable — bringing us snacks, laundry bags, and anything else we needed. The hotel offers some thoughtful perks, including in-room bidets, complimentary shoe shining, and a free shuttle service within a 3-mile radius. The Not-So-Good (especially at nearly $700 CAD per night): A few things were frustrating. The shower/tub setup is unusual — the handheld showerhead is positioned outside the tub, so water ends up all over the floor, and the water pressure is very low. The beds aren’t true doubles or queens; they feel more like oversized twins, and the pillows were quite uncomfortable. The sink is set at an awkward angle, and since we didn’t request housekeeping, it took three calls just to get extra towels. The minibar was completely empty, which was disappointing at this price point. Additionally, although staff were present outside managing valet and opening doors, no one offered to help with our luggage — neither when we arrived nor when we left — so it didn’t seem like a one-off oversight. At this price level, that kind of assistance is expected especially when they decide to put stairs at the entrance to a luxury hotel. Overall: The hotel has a lot of charm and some great staff interactions, but several practical issues made the stay less comfortable than it should be for the cost.
- 5/5
As usual the customer service was impeccable and the overall experience was top notch!
- 1/5
Poor staff and Javier is terrible
- 4/5
It’s a beautiful property and it is in walking distance to a lot of great things. I found it to be quite noisy and heard a lot of sirens and emergency vehicles in the evening that made for a difficult sleep. I didn’t find the mattresses overly comfortable. They seem quite soft and with the contrast of hard pillows it made for an uncomfortable sleep. There was an event on the second night we were here and the fire alarm went off close to midnight, which was most frustrating, and there was no announcement indicating it was a false alarm when it was. Luckily, it wasn’t that cool of an evening. Valet is very expensive at $75 a night. I think that’s unacceptable and with the price that you pay to be here each evening and the fact that they also tack on a $35 fee each night, there should be something included or even things at a better rate. There was a $35 user or lose it credit that you can use toward food in the hotel. We never got around to using it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and anything we asked for we received, which was very good.
- 4/5
Staff were polite, helpful, respectful and cheerful. Service overall good.
- 5/5
my brother, front desk is very efficient and made us welcomed
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel, clean, friendly staff and beautiful rooms. My only complaint was the bed. The mattress is not that comfortable and both my husband and I had back pain in the morning.
- 3/5
The carpet in the room felt dirty, especially around the corners where I could clearly see built-up dust that had not been cleaned. The room and hallways were also very dark, and the layout felt like a maze. It was harder than expected to find my room. I asked about the dog-sitting service listed on their website, but the staff had no information about it, which was disappointing. I also requested a printed room service menu, and the one I received turned out to be outdated. When I called to order, the actual menu was completely different. Lastly, the remaining balance invoice was confusing. The taxes and fees were listed in a way that made it hard to understand what I was actually being charged. Overall, the stay had potential thanks to the location and kind staff, but the lack of cleanliness, unclear information, and confusing systems made it just an average experience.
- 3/5
Very comfortable bed, but beware of hidden nasty destination charges. We were charged extra fees that were not disclosed in advance. Avoid this hotel until they stop scamming guests with obnoxious mandatory fees.
- 4/5
Very nice but expensive

- 5/5
Love the convenience of the location and the hotel has all the amenities one could want. Rooms are very spacious and bathrooms very nice. Restaurant and oool area great too!
- 1/5
They scam property fees which are good for the bar but the bill doubles the property fee (on top of the cost of the room) and does not honor the bar allowance.
- 5/5
Great service and location . Loved the pool and rooftop dining also
- 3/5
Decent hotel
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Only issue I had is there is only one mirror in the room and that's in the restroom and it's not very close to you.

- 5/5
Great location staff excellent and great value for money
- 4/5
The best service we experienced during our stay was hands down at the pool. We went up for coffee and breakfast, and everything from start to finish was fantastic. Our servers/bartender, Joseph and Marielle (apologies if I’ve misspelled her name!), were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. If you’re staying at the SLS, be sure to stop by the 6th floor pool deck for breakfast/brunch—you won’t regret it. And if you’re lucky, Joseph and Marielle will be there to make your morning even better.
- 5/5
The property is designed to offer a luxurious experience, with tasteful interior design, nice bedding, and an excellently designed bathroom that shows off taste and is fully functional for a relaxed stay. Checking in is fast and simple. Their faculties are friendly and professional. Valet parking is available at the property’s lobby. There are nice restaurants in its building and its neighborhood.
- 2/5
For the price I paid, I honestly expected more. Unfortunately, my stay at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles didn't quite meet my expectations. I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom, and the light inside the glass cabinet wouldn’t turn off, which was quite annoying at night. There was also a strange-looking electronic contact that seemed unsafe to touch. I reported everything to the reception, and I must say Alex handled the situation very professionally – kudos to him for that. However, after this experience, I don’t plan on coming back.
- 5/5
The staff was great
- 3/5
Access card quit working after one day and the cards weren’t near a phone or rfid wallet. A small inconvenience to go back to the front desk to reactivate the door keys. Also their folio is super confusing and shows a different total than what they actually bill your card.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and luxurious
- 5/5
Loved it! Great service, location, and loved the room. Will be back!
- 5/5
good hotel
- 5/5
Wonderful! Delicious rooftop food and drinks.
- 4/5
Love the decor of the property - very stylish and fun. Unfortunately, the service was slow at almost every interaction, from breakfast downstairs to answering the front desk when I called to getting a bell hop to help us with our luggage. They were fully booked, but that's when you need to staff up!
- 1/5
Stay was good. Expedia gave a wrong price to us. I will give 0 star
- 5/5
Was quiet and very serene!
- 5/5
Best part of the hotel is the rooftop and pool. Great location. Overall I enjoyed my stay. And I will visit again.
- 5/5
Great staff.
- 5/5
It’s very nice and clean . We will return for sure .
- 2/5
This property was a very old, re-modeled property. Many things are outdated. No ice machines, no water stations to fill up water, the pool was dirty and cups were every where. Inside the room, there were limited outlets for electronics, there was no refrigerator in our room and the lighting in the room was so dark.
- 2/5
This property is tired - I needs a complete overhaul . The staff was excellent but that is about it
- 5/5
Best broish stuffed french toast in Beverly Hills! Walk distance to Beverly center, target, genwa(Korean resturant) nobu mastuhisa! Also, Sushi by scratch insid of Hotel! Valet guys are so nice! Plenty of towel at bathroom!
- 5/5
This particular SLS was close to Beverly Hills/Rodeo for shopping; and just an Uber drive to all colleges (USC and UCLA) where she is interested in. We also visited local beaches and farmers markets just a very short drive from the hotel. The hotel is well taken care of, the staff is very accommodating and always helpful. The room was very clean and my 17 year old daughter LOVED the rockstar decor. I appreciated their car service who will drive you anywhere within a 2 mile radius (not pick up though). The rooftop pool/restaurant is also a VERY pretty place to sit in the sun watch the sunset or eat. Our ONLY complaint (which we kept to ourselves since he was so nice), would be the service at their restaurant on the first floor. The food was amazing, but it seemed like forever for our server to bring us the menu; the food; top off our drinks, etc.. Unfortunately he was talking amongst servers and seemed to forget we were there at times. I would recommend staying at the SLS Beverly Hills and will most likely stay there again with my daughters. Side Note - Pepperdine in Malibu (although only 1/2 hour away) now takes 2 hours to get to becuase the freeway is closed due to past fires. ALSO they are checking IDs to get in/residents really only).
- 2/5
Under SBE, the SLS was bold, vibrant, and detail-driven — every visit felt curated and personal. From the staff to the design to the service, it had soul. Now, under Marriott’s Luxury Collection, it’s become yet another generic high-end hotel trading on faded prestige. The rooms no longer have that edgy charm and service feels reactive rather than anticipatory. The bubbled and worn carpeting throughout the venue are testament to the hotel’s fall from once meticulous standards. The rooftop pool and restaurant are a mess and in need of a deep clean at a minimum - just looks drab.

The hotel was very comfortable and met all my needs but the best thing is the great service the staff gives.
- 2/5
I enjoy a high status at Expedia and member of Bonvoy and really disappointed they did not take care better with the room. In addition, you cant eat after 9.30pm in the restaurant. I wont stay again.

Been back for 15 years
- 5/5
The staff here is fabulous. Friendly and efficient team members. We would stay here again.

It was good..I booked a terrace room ..I thought it means top floor but it was not .i think it was my mistake..secondly I thought breakfast is included..they close roof top too soon…
- 5/5
Always love staying there the breakfast is to die for ! Great Location!
- 3/5
We paid for parking the entire trip but Valet service didn’t want to park our car the last two days. My wife and I parked our own car. So we ask the front why should we be charged for parking! No response yet.
- 5/5
Prestigious hotel with upscale services. Got complimentary birthday celebration cake and rosé from hotel.
- 5/5
From the moment we stepped on property, we felt like royalty. The valets were engaging, the doorman was great. We arrived early, and the front desk was able to find rooms for us to check in very early, and they allowed us to late check out. All of this worked with our transportation schedule. They have a courtesy van that will take you up to 3 miles away and drop you off. They were outstanding and we used it several times. Arriving early, we were ready for breakfast. The food was excellent. We were not disappointed. A massive thank you to Natalia, our waitress. She was extremely polite, so easy to talk to, and she provided us several spots to check out during the day as we were wandering around. The food was so good, we went down the next morning, and she came over to see how our day was. She is a gem for that hotel. Ask to sit in her section if you can!!! First class treatment all around. The pool deck is amazing on the roof. Get there early if you want a spot as it was full most of the day. What a place. We know we will stay here again when we make it back to town. Thank you so much for taking care of us.
- 5/5
We had our waitress in the restaurant send us champagne and a card when she found out we had a birthday in our party.
- 5/5
Well-trained staff, safe area
- 3/5
The halls are a bit run down. $70 parking is a lot.
- 4/5
Rooms were very loud, lots of indoor and outdoor noise . Overall a little dirty, not fresh and clean, carpets stained .
- 1/5
They don’t tell you the restaurant is closed for the season. Wouldn’t have stayed here if that was the case. No mini bar, no room service after 9:30. I was told there was water in my room and there was not so I called twice to have water delivered and it never came.
- 5/5
great place
- 2/5
I felt like for the hotel to be overly expensive and they should have breakfast and food all included if you paying that much for a room I would not stay at this hotel ever again
- 5/5
Great time
- 5/5
Hotel decor was cool as you would expect from Starke. We had a one bedroom suite which had a large private garden…..what??
- 5/5
I love the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. I appreciated the waters provided as well.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 1/5
The heating was not working at all. The 3rd floor was freezing cold. My son literally caught a cold as when we woke up friday morning his nose was running and then myself I got sick as well. We called front desk on friday to have them come fix it as we had the temp set at 80 but it was 69 inside and on top it was already cold outside. The guy came and said the fan is on or something which doesnt make sense because after he left 2 hours later it was still 69 inside. We called again and they brought a small heater in the room. We were so cold. It was such an unpleasant experience.
- 5/5
Nice property!
- 5/5
Good!!

My husband cut his head while opening the safe as they had no “watch your head” warning signs. The manager couldn’t care less and security asked if we wanted a bandaid. Really unsafe space, great hotel but the lack of care especially from management was appalling.
- 5/5
The staff is always friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel & rooms are always great and clean.
- 1/5
I was lock out of my room due to staff error everything was prepaid but systems show otherwise
- 5/5
Amazing property! Wonderful team and beautiful hotel! Highly recommend!
- 2/5
black coffe in the mornings 9 dollars?? hight quality hotels (four seasons as an example) give a lot of complimentary things (of course coffee included). one more comment: one of the multiple times the valet got me my car, I discretely gave to 5s and without hesitation he checked how much he was receiving.. seriously??
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 3/5
The hotel is billed as a five star property, but it does not live up to this standard at all. The room felt like a basic (all be it large) mid tier hotel. There were very few amenities, and the staff was just fine. The bathroom was dark and the tub was cracked. Everything felt a little run down. I would not return to this hotel. And it should not advertise as a five star location
- 3/5
Room was clean. U booked online and no mention of $35/day destination fee, which I was told at check-in. Bit deceiving.
- 5/5
Very friendly service. Beautiful hotel, very comfortable. I was with my wife and daughter, the concierge went out of their way to provide our 5 yr old with toys. Great experience
- 5/5

So I had an important call to take one morning during my stay. The business center was occupied. I went down and asked for a quiet place and Maria was so nice to put me in a super office / meeting room. Few mins later she brought me a nice cup of tea with some sweets. She went above and beyond to put me perfect conditions for a very critical meeting / interview I had. GREAT STAFF!!!
- 2/5
Not even a bottle of water provided in the room and yet $35 charged as a use it or lose it which is impossible to use if you check n after 9pm, as the food and bar close so early. Miserable staff in the breakfast area.
- 3/5

- 2/5
Also the rooms had little to no lights in them , very hard to get any water even though it was complimentary
- 5/5
Everything was perfect but be aware of the extra charges like the destination fee and they don’t have self parking space so you’ll have to pay for the valet.
- 5/5
The hotel rooms are very spacious and great ementities. Staff was very friendly. Room service was prompt. One minor thing, the hallways and common areas can use a little sprucing up. The dining area is beautiful.
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent. Very helpful staff.

They damaged my Louis Vuitton travel bag and broke the handle and then refused to take responsibility although it was in their camera. After a long discussion they referred me to their insurance and they said they can only pay $250 while it will cost me $1700 to fix it at a LV store and replace the handle.
- 5/5
Amazing, staff was incredibly accommodating
- 3/5
We were not impressed with this property. Jennifer the hotel "manager" was just awful with not a shred of customer service skills. She refused to have 2 items that we paid for brought up to the room for a disabled senior citizen at 11:00pm on a week night. Lexi was amazing before we even arrived to the property. I will NOT be staying here again.

Classy place.. the bar was very limited in alcohol offerings. I’m a very healthy 67 year old but the fancy bathtub took a big step to get in and out of to shower. I did not take a bath. The shower controllers wall diagrams were not user understandable friendly either. There was space for a small fridge that was not there but the courtesy safe was a plus. The lighted closets were nice too. The staff was nice and cordial. I liked the available 3.5 courtesy car and drivers were nice. But would give a 7.5 out of 10 for the price.
- 5/5
Excellent location, fabulous service, well priced and very spacious room. Would highly recommend for everyone including families. Pool lovely, amd not too busy. Music around the pool also nice and not too loud. 5 star experience!! Highly Recommend
- 1/5
Terrible don’t even think about staying there. Have no idea where to start. So we book a king size room upon check in they claim they ran out of king size room but would upgrade us to double beds that has a patio. What a joke as total disaster. Once over the fact room sucks we went to sleep to wake up to another major ordeal where the whole bathroom ended up being swamped with 4” of water due to broken pipe or whatever it was. Obviously by this time we were leaving so even if they changed our room it would have been useless. Try taking shower and walking out bath in disgusting water. Rooms totally outdated with hazardous electrical outlets right next to bed. You can’t even turn off lights by bedside and have to navigate in total darkness before getting into bed. Stay as far away from this hotel as you can. whoever is the hotels GM they need to go back to hotel management school
- 4/5
The 2nd floor room was loud and close to the busy street. I had requested a higher floor but was told they were all booked up. The lighting in the room made it feel impossible to know what you look like while getting ready
