Reviews
Plaza La Reina is a highly-rated boutique hotel in Los Angeles, praised for its beautiful Spanish-style architecture, spacious and clean rooms, and exceptional customer service. Guests particularly appreciate the hotel's convenient location within walking distance to UCLA and various restaurants. However, some guests have experienced issues with room assignments and maintenance.

Plaza La Reina is a gem of a boutique hotel - an oasis in the middle of Westwood. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfortable - the sheets! - as was the pull out sofa. The bathroom is large and modern, and there is even a Bosch washer/dryer. The kitchen contains everything to prepare meals including a cooktop and dishwasher. The staff are lovely and very helpful. If you are there on Tuesday or Thursday morning, walk out to Lindbrook St for a delicious coffee made by Highborn & Proues.

Our second visit to Plaza La Riena. Anytime we visit family or sightsee in LA it's our home away from home. Very walkable Westwood Village neighborhood (grocery, target, lots of restaurants) and has a great kitchenette if we feel like lounging around the suite.
- 5/5
It was much bigger than the picture suggested. Well decorated, well equipped (beside the lack of espresso machine). The cleaning lady did not clean in depth.

Some of the rooms are needing some care. We were able to change rooms for one slightly better. Staff was very helpful. It is a special place in Westwood.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at Plaza La Reina! We were in town for a medical procedure. The hotel was perfectly located to the outpatient surgical center that we attended. The room had a stocked kitchenette that met our needs for the stay. Had many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The streets were clean and safe. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff were receptive to any requests! Would definitely stay here again but preferably for a more pleasurable trip!!

Clean rooms and awesome location.

The room we were given was a "particular favorite" according to the front desk, and was a dark dingy room with a view of a concrete wall and two garbage dumpsters. The mattress was a marshmallow and both my spouse and I had sore backs and poor sleeping the entire time. We concluded that there was little training or supervision of the room staff. The "made" bed looked like someone had slept in, or on, the bed; we ran out of TP and there was no extra so we had to go out in search of more; there was one extra toothbrush - which was open; shower shampoo, conditioner and soap were all in tiny tubes - and not refreshed; used coffee mugs were not replaced; the bath towels were rags - literally (so small you couldn't wrap them around your body, warn almost bare, and holes). Other disappointments: one robe provided, mismatched (badly) lampshades with one lightbulb not working upon arrival, bedside table had all handles/knobs broken off, shower water pressure was poor, and the room had no chest of drawers. Finally, the walls "groaned" loudly every 4 hours or so. I have pics, but no mgr on duty to share. I would title this review, "Lots of Promise; Not a Keeper"

My partner Doug receives treatment at UCLA, and for the past three years we’ve stayed here a couple of times a year. What could feel like a stressful trip is softened the moment we arrive. The team knows me by name, knows “François” — our French Bulldog Frank’s very official hotel name — and even knows our favorite room. Frank knows it too and heads straight to that door like it’s his own pied-à-terre. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity. The property feels safe, elegant, calm, and easy, with simple parking — a rare LA miracle. But the people are what keep us coming back. Philippe, the manager, is wonderful, and we see many of the same familiar faces each visit, which says everything. The staff is professional, kind, and genuinely hospitable. They even look out for our budget and let us know when booking online may offer a better rate. The rooftop is also one of Frank’s favorite spots, with beautiful plantings, citrus trees, and lovely views. Plaza La Reina is elegant, warm, personal, and dependable. For us, it is not just a hotel — it is part of our UCLA care journey. Merci beaucoup, Plaza La Reina. À bientôt.

Great stay.. our home away from home! Convenient to UClA and VA. Explored the UCLA botanical gardens close by. Quiet and always memorable!

Everything was very nice. Just no activities, gym, or snacks. It was more like a service apartment than a hotel.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in near UCLA. I will be booking my next trip and staying here again. The staff was exceptional and personable. I felt like I was a VIP.
- 5/5
Great location, convenient parking, huge and comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and well maintained, appreciated the convenience of a mini kitchen which was equipped with all the necessities.
- 5/5
This property was amazing and the customer service Thursday night was wonderful and so accommodating. I cannot wait to stay there on our next visit to Los Angeles.
- 4.5/5
The location was great, especially if you're visiting UCLA or spending time around the area. The room was clean and you could really feel the attention to detail in the design. What stood out most was that the room felt unique and had its own character and personality. It felt almost like staying in a place with its own soul, rather than in a typical large hotel chain where rooms often feel the same no matter where you are in the world. One area that could be improved is the fitness space. The rooftop itself has an incredible view and has the potential to be a really special amenity. There are a few pieces of equipment there, such as treadmills and dumbbells, but they felt quite outdated and weren't very practical to use. A small, well equipped gym, especially if kept on the rooftop, would make the experience even better and would fit very well with the hotel's unique atmosphere.

I have stayed at Plaza la Reina on numerous occasions during visits to UCLA, and I am never disappointed in the quality of the stay. Given the cost of lodging in Westwood in general (unless you need a pool) -- you are getting extremely gracious accommodations for the price, with none of those added resort fees. You have a kitchenette if you must, but there are so many great restaurants in walking distance. Note: You can either pay to park in their garage, or there is metered street parking.

Very comfortable stay in a nice location, walkable to cafes, restaurants and UCLA. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, with an exceptionally comfortable king size bed.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff are very nice and friendly, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is in the heart of westwood. Couldn’t ask for more.

Beautiful classic Room, first rate amenities, very helpful staff.

Excellent on all fronts: Room; location; staff.
- 5/5
Parking easy, $40 per day easy in and out. Nicely equipped kitchenette (ask for a toaster if you like), with dishwasher. Stacked washer and dryer in a closet. We had room 204, very large with seating area and table and chairs where we had breakfast. Excellent bed! Very quiet - windows were sound proof. Good climate control. Easy walking to shopping and restaurants.
- 5/5
Super comfy bed, large room, very clean, friendly staff, secure parking.
- 4/5
I have stayed here many times. Had trouble getting housekeeping even once in the 6 days i was there, had to forage for clean towels. The reception staff is great, but dark garage st night (no motion lights!) and peeling furniture often has me frequently staying other places though i love this location.
- 5/5
excellent as always. quiet, well appointed and proportioned rooms, friendly team and great location.
- 4/5
Parking was safe and location was great.
- 5/5
The two concierges, Nadia and Helen, are very friendly and helpful. They found me a great room and helped me with getting my taxi when I left. The room was large and had a balcony with flowers. It overlooked an alley, which made for a very quiet room. The AC was through a wall vent and thermostat controlled. It was both very quiet as well as did a thorough job of keeping my room nice and cool. I love the washer/dryer in the unit as well as the dishwasher, soap included. The room was also nice and large with a big screen tv. Bathroom also very large and had a great shower. My 5th visit here and I've never been disappointed. The location is also great. Near UCLA, so safe with lots of stores and places to eat, plus near a large free and impressive botanical garden. Only 50 cents for a bus ride to Santa Monica, about 30 minutes: Fun! I look forward to going again.
- 5/5
Great location and value.

Spacious. Homely and peaceful.
- 5/5
All very good. Incredible room and amazing terrace on top floor
- 1/5
I would suggest the W down the street. I’ve stayed there twice and had a wonderful experience both times.
- 3/5
Lovely hotel; quiet, quality. However I asked one thing during my week-long stay; I asked if someone could bring me ice as I could not walk at the time. They stated they would try and never showed. I guess customer service is dead.
- 5/5
Favorite restaurants nearby: Toranj and Thai Emporium.
- 4/5
The weird: Our Townhouse Room which was very large with 3 floors. However, the "industrial chic" website description, did not begin to explain the many exposed pipes, ductwork, concrete floors and overall strange mix of high-end finishes coupled with the feeling you are in an unfinished basement. Finally, the Hotels.com "VIP" hotel food and beverage credit is of limited use in a hotel that does not have a restaurant, bar or any food or bev service.
- 5/5
The only suggestion is to update the couch. It is rather worn and uncomfortable.
- 5/5

We always have a great experience at Plaza La Reina. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and we really like how the front doors are locked after a certain time of day. The hotel is in a convenient location in Westwood near the UCLA campus and the rooms are a good size. We highly recommend this hotel.

Love this hotel so much! Always clean and the staff is always so polite and helpful. It's in a lovely location and feels like it's far away from the city, when in fact, it's quite close to so much!

Plaza La Reina in Beverly Hills was a fantastic stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed to cook and eat—even the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever heard. I loved having a separate sitting area plus an in-room washer and dryer. The rooftop seating area was large and sunny in the mornings, perfect for relaxing. Great location too, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores just steps away.
- 5/5
Super clean. Quiet. Beautiful and homely.

Everything was excellent. Highly recommend this property for staying near UCLA.

Plaza La Reina is a beautiful, welcoming hotel. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and the property felt so pleasant and well cared for. The staff was amazing - friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. I came in from out of town for a procedure at UCLA and needed a place to rest for several days, and this stay felt as close to recuperating at home as possible. An extraordinary team.

When I made the reservation the listing showed the room as suitable for three people and I was searching for three people. It seemed that this hotel had no two-bed choices (for those traveling with children). I assumed that there must be a fold-out sofa if it was listed as a three person room. When we got to the room there was a fairly small single cot which was so uncomfortable that we put the mattress on the floor and folded up the cot. This cot would have been too small for some teenagers and not acceptable for an adult. It would have been good to know that this was what we would get when making our reservation. Although it was not stated on the reservation, there is underground parking available for a fee. As parking is a real challenge in this area we were glad to have this option and we parked there for both days. There are many choices of restaurants for meals and they are within easy walking distance. The Hammer museum is just a block away and their restaurant, Lulu, is fantastic.
- 5/5
This was one of the loveliest hotels we've stayed at. The hacienda motif is very active, too. The room was large, very comfortable, and had a fully equipped kitchenette. It was especially convenient to have parking included on-site. It's a lovely, walkable area with restaurants, shops, and all sorts of conveniences, as it's conveniently located near UCLA. Felip, the manager, was incredibly helpful and provided all of the information we needed to find our way around the neighborhood. It's absolutely a place we'll stay at when we return to the Westwood community of Los Angeles.
- 4/5
A lovely hotel with spacious rooms. The TV wasn’t working in our room, so they had us move to a different room because the hotel technician wasn’t on shift. However, they wouldn’t discuss the possibility of a discount for this inconvenience, which was a bit disappointing. In fact, they were pretty unfriendly about the whole thing. For the money we were paying, I’d at least expect more kindness (and maybe even an apology).

Super friendly staff. Several restaurants across the street - very convenient . The sofa and chair are bit old but that didn't bother us. The balcony on the roof top is great.

Hotel is great ! Love the location & room is spacious with great character. I am only staying one night so i won’t be using the kitchen or washer/dryer but it’s a great feature for a longer visit. The lobby and decor is cute and warm and the front staff is super friendly. The Expedia ad mentions free food/beverage credit of $45 which is a typo as this hotel doesn’t offer any food - but you can go across the street for 10% off
- 5/5
The room was great - clean, spacious, nicely furnished with desk, table and long counter with cooking ability on it. It's on a nice space of road in Westwood - close to everything, but quiet. Low key so only saw the front desk person, but she/he was always nice and helpful. We'll definitely go there again!

The Check In Concierge was efficient yet curt and eager to end their shift; The room had an appliance or some other source beeping incessantly the entire night; Two guests, yet only one key provided and only one robe in room; Minimal provisions for such an elevated hotel and nothing to stir your coffee with.
- 3/5
The property is clean, lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had a horrific experience eith the owner. Our first night, we used the shower and the water literally flooded all over the bathroom floor. The amazing feonst desk person helped us mop it up and offered to change our room. Super great service and she was so kind. The next morning, it happens again! This time they sent the owner who told us, this has never happened in the 10 years he has owned the building and proceeded to ask me the dumbest questions: Did you put your foot over the drain while you showered? Did your child sit on the drain? Did you face the shower head outside of the shower? He then raised his voice. He then told us that we had 50 minutes to leave if we wanted to or we would be charged the full amount. I mean, this guy was a situation. I hope if you stay here, you have ZERO interactions with this horrendous human. menvee

Close to UCLA area, parking is tough and had to use the pricier hotel option but worth it. Small misunderstanding about the accommodations and they went above and beyond to make it right. Accidentally left a few garments and had no trouble retrieving them. Pretty good sound attenuating windows, r9om darkening not bad either! Would definitely stay there again in one of the more upgraded suites. Be advised that there are some rooms that have no elevator access and require you to climb stairs.

I loved this hotel. It provided tremendous value for the money. Spacious interiors, bath robes, lovely bathroom. The only issue was that the top shower head didn’t work. I would come anytime.
- 5/5
The property is very nice. The room was spacious and covered all our needs for our short stay. The location is perfect and is a good starting point for all the good things the westside of LA has to offer. It’s all right there in a beautiful spot.

The amenities offered in the suite we booked were incredible. Although we didn't need it, there's even a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, even a dishwasher!! The property was very quiet and clean, bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Bed needs replacing. Smallest room looking a little tired. Looks like they skimp on replacing lightbulbs in scary-dark garage.

This is a great property conveniently located in Westwood Village with easy access to UCLA and all of West LA. Our room was very comfortable and with excellent facilities.

This will be my new home in LA. Such a pretty and gracious place. The roof deck with its fragrant citrus trees was such a treat. The staff were super - especially the night shift man. We arrived late and at night and Johnny (I think that’s his name) treated us like family. Same on the early morning exit when he helped us check out.
- 5/5
Great place good location.
- 5/5
Didn't like paying $45 per night for parking. I was not aware of this or disclosed it before booking.
- 5/5
I've been here about 5-6 times and I'm never disappointed in this hotel. The concierge is very friendly and helpful. She showed me 2 rooms so that I could select what I wanted. I used the washer/dryer this time and it worked great. The full kitchen (with exception of mini-refrigerator) was really helpful so that I could fix my own breakfast and get going early. I've never had a room that wasn't quiet, but I do note that each room appears to be a little to a lot different from each other. The furniture is the same, but the arrangement of the bedroom changes. But the bedrooms are not near the door, so good quiet sleeping. One of the best parts is the central A/C. No in room A/C by the window and next to the bed to wake you up. In room thermostat kept me very cool during the heat wave while I was there. Also, while the rooms are not cheap, the are comparable to nearby hotels that don't have kitchens and washer/dryers. So overall you get a great deal for your money. Lots of good restaurants within 2 blocks.

This was my 5th time at La Reina and as usual, it was great. Very large quiet rooms. Walking distance to great restaurants on Glendon Avenue. Walking distance to UCLA and Mathias Botanical Gardens (that are awesome!). Going back next week for another stay!
- 4/5
Excellent location and value. Service just ok. We asked for extra coffee and towels especially since a huge suite has one bathrobe and two towels. We got one extra Keurig cartridge and zero extra towels.
- 5/5
Very spacious. Quiet and homely.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the neighborhood; there were places we could walk to. The garage was easily accessible, so getting the car want challenging. The room was spacious and comfortable, including a kitchenette and small laundry. The bed was comfortable and the climate control worked well. On the down side, no in house food and the room could use a refresh. But I enjoyed it enough to plan to stay here next time
- 3/5
I was put off by my check in experience where it was implied that the room I chose was not for space or functionality purposes, rather because it was the cheapest. It was odd that would even be mentioned and I was pretty offended. Then, I was given an unclear description of how to access my room and walked around the property with 2 huge bags looking for a way to efficiently move in. It wasn’t until I was visibly struggling and flustered when another staff member tried to assist me, but I was already halfway finished and did not want to interact with anyone else because of this experience. The room had the space I was looking for, but had little natural light and was only accessible through the alley of the hotel. You can exit your room from the 2nd floor into the courtyard, which is lovely, but you can’t re-enter there which is inconvenient. Parts of the floors were not clean, but otherwise was great. I saw 3 cutting boards in the kitchen, but did not see a proper knife, so I asked the front desk about a knife and they said they don’t provide any (??). There were no clean sponges for dishes either. I imagine the other rooms might provide a better experience, but I wouldn’t stay in room 103 again.
- 5/5
This is a lovely hotel. We will come again.
- 5/5
Charming old style hotel immaculately maintained with great staff. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Very quiet. Close to everything UCLA
- 3/5
Beautiful property. Super friendly staff but spa pool was understaffed. Resort pool was much better quality food, drink and service. Good food and drinks. Check in was not great, took too long because they couldn’t access our Expedia reservation and we had to wait an extra two hours to get into our room. Good thing they had a free glass of champagne and wine tasting at check-in.
- 5/5
Everything was well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared, making my stay completely hassle-free. I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of the accommodation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. Definitely a place I’d love to return to!
- 5/5
This property is an excellent value for LA! And if you need to go to the UCLA main health campus, there definitely is nowhere better. I’ve stayed here quite often over the years. My complaints for this visit are that last minute I paid an extra $100 to get a room with a separated bedroom area because my caregiver was to join me. Then I called the day before checking to confirm we had a separate bedroom area. But when I went to check in, they had downgraded me back to the $100 cheaper option, without refunding me the difference. The man was able to find me an appropriate room to my reservation, so it turned out ok, but WTH? Why would they have planned to not honor my reservation? Also, the last two times I stayed there, I think I left items. I had to call 4 times over 3 days in a row in order to get a response abut if anything was found. But again, I’d still give this place 4 stars out of 5 and will continue to go back.

This is a beautiful property right in the heart of Westwood Village. Walk to restaurants, stores, and UCLA campus. It was quiet, bed was comfortable, and the suite was spacious. The concierge was very helpful, friendly, professional, and accommodating. When our key card didn't work, he came right away with a replacement so we didn't have to go downstairs. Parking is locked with a roll-down security grille so no one can get in without a key card, and it is accessed by elevator from the lobby. The air vent near the ceiling was very dusty (we have allergies so we notice these things), but we had no issues with air quality. Otherwise the room and hotel were spotless, charming, and we love the beautiful courtyard. The kitchenette had everything we needed. This was our second stay here and is one of our favorite hotels in this area. We will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times now. We love the location, the suite size, the kitchenette and especially the in-room washer and dryer. Underground parking is safe, plentiful and convenient, although with the room prices should be complimentary. Downsides were the obscene price gouging (all hotels do this for graduation weekend) and the room A/C not staying on overnight. We would stay here again, but not on grad week!
- 5/5
Easy access to UCLA. We had a spacious suite with desk, sitting chair, dining table, kitchette with dish washer. Large closet with safe and suitcase stand.
- 5/5
Beautiful little hotel, tucked in Westwood. The room was spacious, the bathroom incredible. Troy, the concierge was incredibly friendly. They were incredibly accomidating. I would definitely come here again.
- 5/5
We stay here every time we come to LA. It is the best!
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you have to visit the UCLA Medical Center.
- 5/5
Top notch. Beautiful. Convenient
- 4/5
The concierge was terrific. The room was luxurious, big and the bed was extra comfortable. No restaurant or room service. The $45 food credit was for a 10% off at the Mediterranean restaurant across the street, which is basically useless. The rooftop terrorists serene and empty. A few exercise equipment is up there as well.
- 5/5
Cool place, walking distance to everything around UCLA. Mostly clean nice layout and amenities. I wish the advertising was accurate as it represented a $45/day F&B credit that doesn’t exist.
- 3/5
Safe didn’t work and they were unclear about charges for sofa bed room vs rollaway beds. Charging $57 per day for a rollaway bed seems excessive.
- 3/5
The information given when booking reservation said a $45 food or drink credit would apply to hotel stay. This hotel has no restaurant or bar. There is no credit. I was told the restaurant across the street would give a 10 percent discount not even close to a $45. Credit. Fraudulent representation!!

Very comfortable hotel and a wonderful staff!
- 5/5
Great stay! Friendly and efficient check in and staff. No problem with early arrival. Room was large and clean. Good location and relaxed vibe. Flexible with late check out. Would definitely stay at the property again.

At the end of my day when I went to shower and closed the bathroom door, there was a towel hanging on the holder behind the door. Made me questioned the overall cleanliness of my room.
- 5/5
There were 30 restaurants within walking distance, yet the hotel was quiet and not too busy. I will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Wonderful spot and an amazing Persian restaurant across the street.
- 5/5
Plaza la Reina is a quiet, comfortable hotel that is convenient by foot to the Wilshire Boulevard corridor, Westwood Village, and UCLA. Its Old World Spanish ambiance is appealing. There is no pool, and the exercise area is very small, but there is amble opportunity for walking throughout the area, and there are cultural centers either within walking distance or via a short Uber ride.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Welcoming staff. Great location.

Extremely quiet and peaceful. Spacious. Friendly staff, super responsive.

Boutique hotel right in the middle of Westwood Village. Most friendly, helpful staff.

This place exceeded our expectations

Peaceful and tranquil. Spacious.

This is a very nice hotel with a large room that has a kitchenette and is nicely furnished. Very much enjoyed our stay. There is a beautiful Mexican motif central plaza in the hotel but unfortunately no furniture to sit on and enjoy.

Love this hotel for visiting our son at UCLA. Felt very safe and had great access to restaurants and transportation.
- 3/5
They didn't clean my room which is a basic service and they acted really surprised when I told them and said that they would check with housekeeping. They advised me to contact Expedia for room compensation.
- 5/5
Not a lot of bells and whistles, just high quality staff, finishes and space. The rooms are large, beds comfortable. We will be back.
- 4/5
lot of space in rooms
- 5/5
Such historical building with no shortage of charm. Unbelievable to be right in the UCLA Westwood area with such generous room and coffee shops and restaurants all within couple of blocks. Staff was very friendly and felt so at home. Only thing was that couch in the room was matched with how historical the hotel itself. Still had a relaxing time in our room.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing, and I could not have stayed at a better place. It truly felt like a home away from home!
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was so beautiful and clean. The bed was perfect with nice linens and comfortable pillows. Very large space with a Juliet balcony! The staff was very helpful and checked in with us each time we visited the lobby
- 5/5
A couple of minor negatives: the flat-screen TV was damaged (streaks of dead/pink pixels) and did not have any way to use apps like YouTube, only live TV. We asked for "early check-in" but they couldn't guarantee it, only would tell us day-of-checkin if it was available.

Very nice

Would never stay in the property again.

Excellent choice to stay.
- 4/5
I love this place. This particular stay was not as good because the first room I was in had numerous issues. The front desk girl was not helpful at all, but the manager got me another room and was a big help. This place is generally the best deal for the space in the LA area. I recommend it.
- 5/5
I loved the kitchenette in my room!
- 5/5
We had appointments that we had to attend at UCLA medical center and this was the perfect location.
- 2/5
We paid a pretty hefty fee for six nights at Plaza, La Reina. However, I paid for seven nights because they charge $44 a night for parking. Ridiculous. Will never go back.
- 5/5
staff was great. Good location
- 5/5
I love this hotel. Convenient for my purposes and the rooms are great size, well-appointed, well maintained and extremely comfortable. That said, I would be remiss if I did not mention Troy, the Concierge. He is extraordinary. He manages to remember all guests names, what they need, prefer, or have requested and is always pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I cannot say too many good things about Troy. He is truly a treasure and provides the type of service rarely seen in hotels these days.
- 5/5
Super place at a great value
- 5/5
Exquisite boutique hotel with gorgeous, spacious rooms with kitchenette and washer/dryer. Located in Westwood near UCLA - great shops and restaurants. Also convenient parking in the garage.
- 5/5
The studio room was delightful and love the option of open windows for fresh air. It was a spectacular stay
- 5/5
The front desk ( Hina and Troy) always strives to provide the best service for guests.

I’m coming back. Plaza La Reina is a 10/10

Excellent
- 5/5
This hotel is a gem! Definitely visit next time
- 5/5
First rate experience!
- 3/5
I had prepaid for my room and a free upgrade but they charged my card without my permission
- 5/5
The beautiful hotel has an inviting courtyard which you can access from the street level. Our room was good size with a kitchenette, full living room, bedroom and bathroom. Ours came with a washer/dryer which was very convenient for a longer trip. Close to restaurants and UCLA, within walking distance. Great find!
- 5/5
It has a kitchenette with dishes and utensils so you can prepare your breakfast and other meals. The refrigerator also has a freezer section so I can store frozen blueberries for my breakfasts.
- 5/5
Easily assessable, secure parking, friendly and helpful staff!!
- 5/5
From the initial phone calls and welcome emails, through to check in and check out, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The little terrace and patio were cute spots to relax. Very convenient location too being walking distance to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing and helpful especially Hena and Troy. The hotel parking is convenient and will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Considering the hotel offers no amenities like a pool or restaurant or bar I would expect more in this area.
- 5/5
My room was nothing short of awesome. I always stay at Plaza la Reina when I come to LA since it's rooms are huge, concierges great, and a quiet, very convenient location. Well worth the price of the room and is significantly less expensive than comparable hotels in the area. What's there not to like?
- 5/5
and I've found that the staff goes above and beyond and is very friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious, offered great amenities and the hotel was quiet and really comfortable. I appreciate how the hotel locks the front door at a certain time at night and a staff member is at the desk around the clock. I felt very safe as a female staying by myself. I highly recommend staying at the Plaza La Reina!
- 5/5
I’m selfishly reluctant to give an honest review of Plaza La Reina because it isn’t very big and I’ll just be making it more likely to sell out in high-demand weekends. But, I’ll be honest. It’s the best place we’ve stayed in the Westwood/UCLA area. In fact, we have to visit kids at both UCLA and University of Washington, and it’s the nicest adjacent-to-campus hotel we’ve used. The rooms are large, clean and just beautiful. Parking is easy. Location can’t be beat.

Room got mixed up. They got the wrong room but got fixed after an hour. Disappointing.
- 1/5
Disappointed. Fairly nice but service was horrible. Tv didnt work. Bathroom items not working. They said theyd fix it and they didnt.

very quiet environment

Nice apart hotel. No breakfast but lots of cafes around. Garage parking. 1 hour walk from Beverly Hills
