Lincoln Park Motel

We stay at this little motel pretty much every year when the Dodgers play against the Braves. It's a cute little property and even though the "Honeymoon Suite" is a little cheesy, it's where we stay. This recent trip, we were disappointed to see that they have not been maintaining the property. There have been no upgrades in years, yet the nightly rates have definitely gone up. The tub has been patched, and not well. Although we've never had problems with pests of any kind, we did kill a German roach upon arrival. I can safely say, we will be finding another place to stay next year.

The entrance and parking area is extremely small. The area is sketchy and the people around the area are also sketchy. I saw the BIGGEST cockroach there in my entire life; outside the room (not inside). The shower was hot which is why this motel earned a 1 star. The second star goes to check-in being extremely easy.

Tiny parking lot one way in and out. Rooms smelled like mold and bathroom vent was caked in dust. Would avoid this property if possible.

The shower did not work and I got burned because front desk said to turn the handle to C and it never turned cold if anything it got hotter and ended up effecting my health. Front desk tried to allow me to shower after check out but it sucks I went all night without a shower and I left all bad that it messed up my schedule the next day

I like that the property was close to downtown Los Angeles and other parts I was visiting in LA. There was a lot of tweakers and crack heads on property and room service never came to clean room and I left sign on door knob and cop pulled up on me when I was smoking in my car at night asking if I had a gun and if nobody in the area of tried messing with me.

Had all the essentials. But the door is thin and the outside is lively throughout the night.

The beds were very comfortable great size tv in the room.. you have to collect your tv remote from the main office! Theres no heat in the room only a cooling wall system! It could use a little tlc in the rooms .. The front desk staff were very kind.

The air conditioner had mold in it and the fact that there are regulars there. They knew I was new around. Keep in mind people can rent for weeks there which eventually becomes their temporary housing location. The parking lot was full at night which made it harder for us since we were out sight seeing.

Very limited parking area. Staff were good. Loud noises outside during the night-motorcycles in and out. Other guests were loud and management didn't do anything about it. No microwave. Work table in the room is small.

Everything was great good air conditioning comfortable bed We got woken up by loud knock on door from staff saying if we had car park it clearly states that we didn't have a car when we checked in so I didn't appreciate the earlier morning loud knock and toilet handle kept falling off that was a bit annoying

Was abel to park just opposite the room, so quite convenient. Overall happy with stay. No additional amenities inside the room but microwave and coffee maker access outside in common area but no cups available in common area. But, overall good stay.

Never had to use quaint and crappy in the same sentence. No phone in room. Nothing had a drawer of shelf even the mini fridge. The t.v worked like it was the 70's and it got rabbit ear antennas. Ended up leaving early.

Bathroom was dirty and the staff was unresponsive, they seemed like they didn’t care about their jobs

Staff It’s a motel, understandable. But when I got to the rooms I found hair on the beds, 2-4 cockroaches, and the beds were really squeaky.

I checked in, saw my room, and checked right back out. The room had hair on the cabinets, and tons of mold in the restroom. There was also NO parking whatsoever. And the area is just terrible and definitely unsafe.

This motel is older but fairly well kept. The rooms are very small, and the bed is set up connected to a wall with furniture making it impossible to really have 2 adults get in and out of the bed without crawling over each other.

The area didn't feel safe. There were people in the parking lot that were questionable. There may have been a naked woman across the way. They went to the level of turning on the tv when we were checking out to see if we had broken the tv. One microwave in the parking lot for everyone was rather weird too. It was definitely a sketchy area.

The junkies staying in the first room as you went in to the property tried to start a fight with me when I was coming back from 7-Eleven in the morning getting my coffee. I would stay there again as the hotel has no control over who the government is giving homeless vouchers to Costing taxpayers $4500 a month for these junkies to stay in a hotel. That's California what can I say.

I had a pleasant stay here with my family. The room we booked was perfect and very spacious for all 5 of us! We got a chance to interact with the staff and they were very friendly and more than willing to accommodate any need we had. I would definitely book here again.

Obviously we didn't want to stay even in a different room, and were most concerned that our belongings were now infested with bedbugs and we'd bring them home. Hotels.com managed to get us a full refund the next day, though the motel made this difficult by not answering the phone several times. They also refused to pay any compensation despite us having to pay to clean and fumugate our belongings. Honestly the worst, most traumatising experience I have ever had, making me extremely paranoid staying at any hotel in the future as I can't even go under the covers now in fear of bedbugs. I am certain the motel would have been aware of the bedbugs prior to our stay, and they didn't seem too concerned or shocked by it. DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU'RE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR, AS WE ENDED UP DOING AFTER DISCOVERING THE BEDBUGS.

We have a continuous booking but didnt allow cleaning our room, we were denied of having new towels for our stay of 11days. They kept saying they change the towels but they didnt give us or even leave them outside our room.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The pillows were comfortable and not stained, the towels and linens were also free of stains, the appliances all worked, the property is older but well kept up and the bathrooms seemed to have been renovated recently. The one and only microwave is located outside on this table with the water machine & no ice. The one and only window in my room was on the ground floor, the building is just one story of individual little broke down cottages where you can’t hardly breathe in the room. I was scared to open my window it was street level window covered in graffiti. When I spoke to management Within two minutes of my arrival, about the condition of the building and was there a Bug problem? He said they had one months ago, but not in my room. He threw in the incident of them just getting over bedbugs. He refused to give me my money back. I didn’t want to get into a Serious situation which would have lead into a serious altercation, but I did tell him that I will be giving him a review. You have to go and see this property. It’s garbage and should be deleted from your list of hotels (motel) in that city. I am 63 years old and I have traveled the world I have never will never stay in a motel like this ever. My daughter-in-law told me about this motel and I should’ve known better Always follow your first instinct.

Was in a residential area woke up to banging noise in the morning, our window was in someone's backyard. Parking was terrible and the ac didnt work well and starting leaking at night.

I guess you could say it was exactly what it was supposed to be it was very very nice it was very clean it was very comfortable I was kind of like a little offset because I was put right next to the office I thought I was in the screening under watching keys but overall all in all it was all good and I'm grateful thank you

The only thing I was disappointed with was the shower. The hot water took a long time to get even just a little bit warm, and the water pressure was very low. Aside from that, I would go back.

I love the style of this place. It feels like the time that it was built. At least on the outside, on the inside it's kept up with the times a bit too much in a seedy kind of way. I'd like to come back with an old car or Harley and park in the carport beside my bungalette.

I booked the motel the same day and the clerk did not help me at all. I was canceling the room and I was kept on being told and hide behind their policies.

There was a limited number of parking spaces. Also, we left the sign for the cleaning ladies to clean the room, but nothing got clean. Some sheets were also stained and looked dirty. We believe someone enter the room while we were gone, left a light on (which we left it off) and about $15 dollars was missing from the pocket of used pants. We didn’t complain because the amount of money that was missing was low, but take all your valuables with you if you were to stay at this hotel.

Shower water would get hot for about two minutes before a loud plumbing sound like you want to turn it off before the whole bathroom blows up lol. And the bed was on wheels, so shaky and awkward. TV signal cut out for big chunks of time.

We’ve stayed here a few times. We really like it and the staff is very helpful. Nowhere is perfect, and if we encounter an issue we notify staff and it is resolved quickly.

This place was disgusting and scary. I did not stay. I left because it was too weird and scary. Nothing like the pictures on the website. Pictures on website were in total fraud. Totally scary

Oh no, where to start! It was like staying in a kids camp. No ice machine, no iron, no desk, no chair, shared microwave (located outside), no telephone. Booked queen bed, what I got was not a queen size bed but instead a double. We could tell the difference. This place should be a $50.00 a night at the most. I will never stay here again!

The Motel front desk staff are all friendly, but the room is not clean. I live in Room 22, They have cockroaches in the room, and one of my family members woke up in the middle of the night with a cockroach crawling on their head. And I don't know whether there are fleas or mosquitoes, my daughter got 5 big bites.

There is no closet and the room is super small, therefore you have no space to open your suitcase. The first night someone knocked our door and tried to get in. I thought it was a mistake and asked the manager to check the cctv and let me know what happened. He never came back to me. The area around the motel is full of homeless people and you have no feeling of safety. The bed was terrible. With any minor movement it was making noise loud enough to wake my wife Imagine that we used the room just for a sleep and a bath. Otherwise we would most likely leave immediately

Our room had a dozen cockroaches when we walked in the first time

Other than being some what clean, the staff at the property was not polite at all. When I arrived I had a issue with the front staff, other than the very nice female at the front desk. The staff was not nice at all, I was even made to do a room inspection before I could check out. Even after they scan my ID and had my credit card on file.

This place is not clean, is not safe for families with children, I didn’t stay when I saw the condition and they refused to give me a refund, I don’t know how they stay in business. Very very horrible place.

Une chambre moite qui empeste l'humidité, un lit qui semble à peine avoir été fait, des draps tous tâchés et qui sentent le renfermé, une clim qui fait un bruit de tracteur ET qui n'envoie par d'air froid, le tout dans une chambre et une salle de bains franchement sales. Le ménage n'est clairement pas fait par quelqu'un qui a l'habitude. Réveillés à 2h30 du matin par un type qui toque à notre porte puis traîne devant. Des gars louches au fond de l'impasse dans le logement dès notre arrivée. Bref, j'ai eu un moment de doute niveau sécurité, pire expérience que nous avons eue en deux semaines. Le niveau de qualité de ces chambres est autour de 30$, pas plus. Mettez 20$ de plus et allez ailleurs guys !
