    There wasn’t a coffee maker in our hotel room. It took over 30 minutes to get seated and order a coffee from the cafe on the first floor in the morning. Slow service and very expensive. The hotel is located on a dirty street littered with trash and it smells of urine.

    The no dog fee/no dog weight limit is so great! I wish more hotels did that!! Overall a great stay. The pup and I were very happy. I also got a really nice view of the Hollywood sign from my room.

    Everything was great overall. The only constructive feedback I have is regarding a maintenance issue we experienced with our room. Our toilet became clogged, and it took over two hours for someone to come and address it. Given the price of the rooms and the level of service expected, I believe a response time of 30–45 minutes would have been more appropriate. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience.

    We would like to thank the housekeeping team for the orderliness and cleanliness of the hotel. However, we were not satisfied with the overall operation and management of the property. First of all, the central air conditioning vents in the room have accumulated so much dust that it is not only visible but has reached a level that may pose a health risk. Dust particles were coming out of the vents into the room. In addition, the carpet and its color scheme do not make guests feel that they are staying in a clean room. We believe the carpets should be replaced during renovation and upgraded to parquet or other hard flooring surfaces. We were also disappointed by the bedding arrangement. We could not determine whether this was due to a lack of proper duvet covers or simply a matter of convenience, but it appeared that two sheets had been wrapped around a blanket. This was uncomfortable both from a usability and hygiene perspective. In a hotel of this category, we would have expected a more modern and professional bedding setup. Regarding breakfast, we paid an additional fee during the reservation process because the room was advertised as including breakfast. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that breakfast operated on an à la carte basis, that guests received a USD 15 credit per room, and that any amount exceeding USD 15 would be charged separately. Since even a coffee on the breakfast menu exceeded USD 15, it is difficult to understand how this can genuinely be described as “breakfast included.” Furthermore, this policy was not clearly disclosed either on the hotel’s website or during the booking process. As a result, we felt misled. We paid extra for a breakfast package but ultimately left without having breakfast. When we raised this concern with the reception staff, we were simply told, “This is our policy.” No effort was made to provide a solution or address our dissatisfaction. The management team appeared indifferent and uninterested in resolving the issue. Considering today’s technology and guest expectations, access to a shared computer remains an important service for many travelers.

    I have stayed at Kimpton properties before that are well maintained. This hotel is trying to be a Kimpton, but not there yet at all. Our room was the color of a prison call. The ceiling looks like something out of a prison as well. The furniture has knicks and dings. Therw were fingerprints on the walls. There is no Wi-Fi TV. We tried to get Netflix working and you can only cast it from your phone with the device the hotel provides. We waited a half hour for someone to come and install this device so we could watch Netflix. Ridiculous! I asked for some money to be taken off of our stay. They only took off their silly resort fee. I will never stay here again!

    The Kimpton Everly is located in a great spot for easy access to Hollywood. The pool has gorgeous views. The restaurant has great food, as does the coffee shop. My only criticism is the lighting in the living room part of the suites is very dim, making it hard to read or see yourself in the full length mirrors that are on the closet doors, that don't stay open.

    Really beautiful hotel! Was disappointed there wasn’t really any perks for Expedia vip guests like food voucher etc but that’s likely more of an Expedia issue! The resort fee paid said that we would be offer welcome drink etc which we didn’t get but saw others getting later. Wasn’t super consistent.

    We spent a lot of time at the bar. The food was great and reasonably priced during happy hour (3p-6p). Emmy, our bartender for all but one of the times we sat at the bar was SPECTACULAR. She told us the story behind the drinks we ordered. She gave us recommendations where to go once the rain stopped. She was a burst of sunshine on a rainy day and set the tone for our stay at the hotel and for the trip in general. I’d come back to this hotel for the sole purpose of sitting at the bar and hanging out with Emmy. The bar has a wonderful chill space with a pool table and nooks to just sit lounge about. The pool deck was very nice, featuring a heated pool and a variety of seating options. We didn’t get to enjoy it because it was stormy. The room itself was very nice. We had the spa suite, which included a massive bathroom with both a shower and a large clawfoot tub, large enough for two to soak comfortably. The hotel provided bath salts and robes which were a nice touch. The king bed was super comfortable, and I’m someone who generally has a hard time getting comfortable on hotel room beds. There’s always stuff one can nitpick, but overall the hotel delivered on everything the Kimpton brand is known for and more.

Valet finally responded to my text around 15 minutes later while I was on the road that they'll bring my car up front. Other times it was smoother tho.

    Hotel was nice, view on the 15th floor was phenomenal. Only thing I have to say is we called front desk to ask for more towels and we didn’t get them after calling twice. One of my friends called and said “we called about 30 mins ago” and the receptionist said “it was 20 minutes ago, they will be up shortly” and never came. Other than that there’s free wine for guests between 5-6pm and hotel was beautiful and clean rooms. I would stay again and hope for nicer service.

    We were on the 16th floor and the view was breathtaking. The beds were super comfortable with really nice linens. Everything was great. We also really enjoyed the drinks social in the Lobby. They served a delicious cocktail, wine and an appetizer for free. The pool is a bit smaller than what it looks like in the photos but it was heated and wonderful to swim in. Can't think of anything.

    Lobby lounge/bar area was spacious and comfortable. Bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly. Liked pool table option in lobby lounge and wine hour. Bathroom and shower size was comfortable. Breakfast restaurant was excellent on ground level. Highly recommended. Hot water pot provided on request for tea was nice convenience for my wife. Jacket closet by room entry was spacious. Valet overnight parking is pricey at $70 per day. I obtained a parking space from Spothero but the distance walked at night may be uncomfortable for most family travelers but the savings was significant if you are staying multiple days. Hotel is located in a remote two block area, and if you park your car overnight across the street, I noticed vehicles with broken glass and car windows if you park further away from the hotel.

    The view was most excellent, and it was close to all of the things that I wanted to see during my little staycation. The restaurant food was very good and I enjoyed the free glass of wine before bed. I was told that parking was free and on-site. This was not the case, they only had Valet parking at $70 per day, which was a rude surprise for me. In addition, the "free-breakfast" was a credit towards their restaurant, which ended up fine but it was easy to go over. It was also not stated that they take a $300 deposit at check in. We had asked through booking.com for a crib for our room which they said wouldn't be an issue. We mentioned it at check in and they said that it was all ready. We never did get the crib.

    Breakfast was very nice, the waiters at the restaurant went above and beyond. Location, we were very close to the hollywood walk of fame, and many other attractions, it felt also very safe. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience during our stay here. To start, we booked the hotel through Booking, and it said that breakfast was included. Naturally, you assume that means it’s fully covered, but that wasn’t the case. They only cover a specific amount per day ($50 total, not per person). This really should be clearly stated on Booking so guests know what to expect. The room itself was nice, but for the price, the decor felt very simple. It also felt like some basic things were missing, like towel holders, which made it a bit inconvenient. We stayed for three nights. On our first day, we left the hotel around 10 a.m. for sightseeing and came back around 10 p.m., only to find that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all. We didn’t leave any “do not disturb” sign, and they didn’t even change the towels. I went to the front desk to ask what happened and to request clean towels and trash pickup. The woman at the front desk was very arrogant and dismissive. She said, in an ironic tone, that “these things happen” and that next time we should go to the front desk and tell them we’re leaving so it doesn’t happen again. That response was really disappointing. We weren’t asking for much — just clean towels for my parents and the trash taken out. I went back to the room, waited, and no one ever came. I eventually gave up because I didn’t want to create more issues, but it definitely felt like she didn’t care to help. The next morning, I spoke with the manager, and he was much more considerate. He apologized for what happened and gave us additional breakfast credit, which we appreciated. Overall, the hotel has potential, but better communication, clearer policies, and more consistent customer service would really improve the experience.

    Got to our hotel and had the valid do our parking; however, upon completing that process walk into the lobby and the front desk did not acknowledge if we were checking in stood there for 10 minutes and then got a clarification on what we need to do next. Poor communication from the valid to the front desk staff. Very bad way of customer service and a very bad first impression.

    The staff here are amazing! The room was spacious and had a stunning view of the Hollywood sign - and the hotel shower was perfect. I was able to check-in early and get a late check-out with ease. The hotel lobby & bar area was one of my favorites - with a free coffee bar in the morning, daily social hour and a complimentary bar drink. The hotel was centrally located to all I wanted to do for this trip, allowing me to Uber places for about $15. I will definitely book here again, the next time I visit LA.

Amoeba Music is a block away, along with a ton of other shopping, restaurants etc - and it’s only a short walk to Sunset. I thought the location was pretty great!     Our room was clean, the valet service was fast, the hotel is a five minute walk from pantages, the walk of fame and amoeba music. Ten minutes drive to universal studios, and a great view on either side when you choose a higher floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Check was fast easy. Elevator quick. Room was nice. Bed comfortable and sheets fresh. Bathroom clean. Fairly quiet for next to a freeway. There was a spot on the wall cleaning missed. Looked like a soda pop spill. Water takes a bit to warm up. Wasting water. The Hamburger and fries I had isn’t worth the money. It wasn’t fresh (I think frozen and reheated but not long enough) and the fries had a fishy flavor of cooked in the same oil as the fish.

    We could enjoy with our dog and the staff was great. Alex and Brandon were super-helpful when we checked in and when leaving. Desk people were also great. We really had a relaxing time and enjoyed the pool on the 5th floor that also has views over the city

    Absolutely no parking for guests on property unless you pay 65 for valet parking. Street parking is very limited and Unsafe area which has you wondering if your vehicle will be broken into or not. Upon check in the gentleman we dealt with was not customer service friendly. We both got the same rude vibe like we’re not his cliental. Atleast that’s how he made us feel. The room was nice but ceiling looks like it had some work done and they never finished it. Very expensive room for an unfinished job. Property is nice inside and bar scene people are friendly. I think for the price and guest service alone I wouldnt stay here again.

You can see cracks and lots of areas that that been repaired in the ceiling, the desk and furniture had chips and wear. The restroom/shower was the best part of the room.     Lovely hotel, clean, walkable to the town area, nice rooms with big comfortable beds & nice bathroom. great staff in the cafe & bar area, but lowered the rating because of poor staff on reception, asked for a coffee machine for our room, but it never turned up, asked again the following evening & also for some plates, waited an hour, but still didn’t arrive, so had to go & chase up. On checkout with checked out bill or be it it was after we had left, we found we had a charge we didn’t recognise, which wasn’t on our invoice & also our refund for the nightly deposit (150) hadn’t been realised, it actually took 3 days to go back on our card, where’s the last hotel we’d been in, was refunded straight away! So I emailed them asking & they said it could take upto 7 days depending on the card used & the didn’t even bother giving me an answer about the extra charge we had. So unfortunately that let it down for us!!

    We had a great family stay for our weekend in Hollywood. The beds were comfortable, view of the Hollywood sign was great, no freeway noise, cleaned our rooms every day, and a fun pool. The hotel was having a pool party on the Sunday of our trip so that was a nice spot to hit up on our last day. The only small complaint was the shower water pressure as it was a bit light.

No toiletries available in room (not even a cotton swab) , but you can get if you ask … but you have to ask for every item you want/need. The restaurant has a very limited menu and only true option for kids is overpriced ball of pasta … food took over 45 min for a salad and 2 servings of pasta. But the food tasted nice.

    The only thing I'd change is to add some coffee in the guest rooms. If there was a coffee maker in our room I couldn't find it. It's nice to have a coffee in the morning without having to get dressed and go to the lobby/restaurant. Otherwise this was a great stay and the complimentary sparkling rose at checkin was just a clincher. Will 100% stay here again.

    We were impressed with this hotel. It’s very organized and in a good location. The room service was excellent. The only complaint is the half glass on the shower which caused water to get all over the bathroom floor, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would pick this hotel again in the future.     I recently booked two rooms at this hotel through Expedia and, unfortunately, encountered a frustrating and time-consuming billing issue. Despite clearly booking through Expedia, the hotel still charged my credit card directly for both rooms.     This property exceeded our expectations by far. The staff, from the men at the front to the cleaning lady—we’re all so friendly. It was such a nice gesture for us to get the free specialty coffees at check-in. The rooms were extremely clean. The beds were comfy. It was a wonderful place to stay. And within walking distance to most things you’d want to see. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

    Location was convenient with lots accessible within a 10-15 minute Uber ride. The first day the pool was not available due to a paid “pool party” where children were not allowed. Our room overlooked the freeway (all the Hollywood sign) rooms do with a bit of freeway noise. Walking to Thai Town we encountered many homeless people.

    First, the staff was superlative, they were friendly and very accommodating and could not have been better. The hotel itself was lacking. Three out of 6 of my electrical outlets didn't work. I was charged an extra $35/night fee for "amenities" and there were none. They have wine in the lobby at 5, I don't drink, and a tiny pool. Food is only available at mealtimes, 7am-1p and 5p-10p. Any other time you starve or have to order incredibly expensive delivery. The room had only a mini-fridge that froze my food so it was inedible, no microwave, no coffeemaker (although you can ask for a Keurig, there may be a charge for that, not sure), coffee in the lobby in the morning only. I'm now at a Holiday Inn Express for the next leg of my trip and there's a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room, free coffee, tea, and milk in the lobby 24 hrs, free wifi and a computer in the lobby for free use, a huge pool and fitness room, free hot breakfast and a snack bar open 24 hrs that includes hot microwave meals. And it's one third of the price of the Kimpton, which needs to do better.

    I actually booked the wrong Kimpton Hotel while I was in LA for a wedding, however our experience was incredible from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The Kimpton Everly had fantastic staff as well as amenities. I would like to shout out Thomas at the coffee restaurant in the hotel “Jane Q “ His customer service and addressing me by name whenever I saw him was an absolute joy and would make me book this hotel again. I will say the area is walkable and has more touristy things around it but I was not interested in them. The only complaint I would have is no complimentary water in the room.

    All of the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Our room had a wonderful view of the city and was well appointed except for no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lovey lounge, great cafe downstairs for breakfast. The only thing missing was fine dining or at least high end appetizers in the lounge!

    Aside from having to chase down a server after various staff walking past us multiple times, the food was excellent and the server was subsequently very attentive. They were out of several dishes, so we settled on the Spatchcock chicken, which was beyond delicious, along with the squash blossoms which could have used a bit more of something—salt, spice, sauce. Overall food was excellent, menu presentation (envelope) very clever, albeit it a bit all over the place. This was our second stay, tub was a must. Our room was surprisingly smaller—no sofa—this time which was disappointing but the tub was perfect. Great sheets and pillow options. Very comfortable, well located. Great morning coffee options. Loved the complimentary coffee tickets.

    The hotel has a beautifully decorated lobby and excellent customer service. The room was small but cozy and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The linens smelled clean and inviting. I will say that the shower was a bit dirty and the shower head wasn’t functioning very well - the extended shower head wasn’t functioning at all. There was a small cutout hole on the wall that was open and creeped me out a bit. Overall though, the hotel experience was good.

    Its a nice hotel, great location for going to the Hollywood bowl. We had an issue with the sliding door lock, they fixed it quickly and the wine they gave us for the inconvenience made us happy. They had wine included for a sort of happy hour when we went, that was a nice perk. Nice full bar with an Italian restaurant downstairs was convenient.
