The room was disgusting and not clean. The vibe was hrly priced hotel kind of vibes. We couldn't stay and had to book another whole stay. I tried getting a refund since we didn't stay longer than he. I was never contacted in return Clean bedding

Amazing hotel, the owner are sweet people ready to help you out, room very clean and large, the inside of the room was really beautiful, you can tell is a family business, I’ll suggest everyone to go, really close to the LAX airport

The bed was strangely dipping in the center so it felt like I was sleeping on a slant? wasn’t a big deal.

Bathtub is dirty... towels smells of Clorax and laundry detergent... no robe, no blow dryer, no coffee maker as advertised. Construction was going on at 7 in the morning at the hotel. Comforter on bed needed to be laundered.

My handicap with a walker and there was no down series rooms so I got stuck upstairs so I went downstairs is very difficult to give him a walker downstairs almost fell!

Great stay. I was arriving late so I called ahead to say I'd be there around 10:30. They said I could check in as late at 11. Check in was quick. Room itself is of a basic older roadside motel quality with some updates, but clean and no bugs. My 2 main criteria. Also free parking lot. There was construction going on, so they will have new rooms in the future.

My next door seems to be a staff dormitory, because the TV is open all night during the day and the sound is so loud. Couldn't fall asleep all night.

The front desk lady was so nice and accommodating front desk lady was gone after the first day & some man was now at the front desk… one morning we woke up & the bathroom was leaking. fine..things like this happen its no big deal. the man at the front desk gave my husband another room, we happily moved our stuff to the new room… upon entering the new room we noticed the fridge was dirty, again no problem these things happen this is why I always carry cleaning spray (I have kids, I do this even at 5 star hotels) the man saw that we were cleaning the fridge starts fuming walks to the other room next door & yells there is tagging on the wall your son did this!! (Mind you the writing on the wall was high up and was ACTUAL gang tagging) I say “sir that was already there when we got here there is no way my 6 year old son #1 can reach that high even with a chair and #2 isnt gang affiliated” he walked to the new room and began to YELL at my family. He said “dont clean my things!! Your just complaining about my stuff!!! When I said no sir we are not complaining as a matter of fact we said nothing and just cleaned it ourselves… he continued.. “if all your going to do is complain then LEAVE!!! Follow me to the front desk for refund he continued to yell… I follow him and on our way to the front desk he continued to scream at me, some of the things I didn’t understand because he was in front of me all I kept doing was follow him like he asked and kept saying no sir we are not complaining sir there should be no problems sir nobody is attacking you sir and he just continue to yell. Once we got up to the front desk he said no refund empty all your stuff out & then bring me the room key & I will give you the refund. So in reality me following him and being yelled at the entire time was completely unnecessary because he was still not going to give me my refund yet. Baffled we emptied the room & I walked up to the front desk for my refund..

It was not clean. It had a really bad smell when you enter the room or opening the bathroom door . The bed sheets were dirty I had to buy new ones just to sleep in the bed.

The exterior of this property makes it look seedy and low rent however my stay was fine. The room was large and the bed comfortable however it could use a remodeling. I would probably classify this property as a 1 star level.

This is my third stay with Hyde Park Hotel. The check in staff are very polite and welcoming and great at their customer service. I will book again at Hyde Park on my future visits to LA.

Very clean room no bugs at all. Bathroom are also clean alot of room. My negative are you have to smoke outside if the found out you smoke in the room the lady said they can charge me 200 dollars. I also dont like rule about leaving

The shower drained slow, so water accumulated in the tub while taking shower. The shower curtain was old and seemed dirty. The smoke detector kept beeping, and the small fridge was making noise. This was the least expensive accommodation I could find in the region, so I can't complain too much.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in met our needs perfectly. The only thing I’d change was the shower head, which had a narrow spray radius but that’s very minor.

It was decently clean but for the price it was good. I had no problems the area is a little rough but I survived and was in not so bad of a spot. We weren’t to far from anything at all and close to LAX too. All in all it’s a good motel. I recommend it the owners are nice people.

Everything was fine with two exceptions. The towels were not very clean and the owner's wife was very rude. She kept contacting me about checkout time and then about taking extra towels because they count towels at this location. She didn't understand that someone could possibly ask for a few extra towels.

One of the bath towels smelled chemical odor in the first room. I have stayed many cheap motel in the LA areas. I have been OK if any room is clean and quiet. But this was the worst in this area.

You wouldn't necessarily guess from the outside that the rooms are this spacious, the beds this comfortable, but there ya go. Well furnished, plenty of room for a couple of huge suitcases to be left open on the floor. just stayed a night between places, but I was pleasantly surprised by Hyde Park Motel.

It was in a rough area, but we felt safe. Overall good motel and good pricing. Front desk is 24/7, really get the value for what you're paying. Very pleased.

I was really surprised with this place, check in was smooth, room was great, good sizes, good TV , pretty clean, Bed was great, the look was a little dated but still pretty nice, good value for the money.

I couldn't check into my room as the clerk said she didn't have any paper work from Hotels.com and was told to come back in 90 minutes. I return and they had paper work. The Clerk was very pleasant just annoying not to be able to check in upon arrival. I stayed 2 night and the trash was never emptied. The linens were greyish/light beige instead of white but appeared to be washed. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Not in the best area of town but the parking lot was well lit and I felt safe in my during my stay. The Location was very convenient for my trip and am going to stay here again to give them another chance at my business next month.

Very Clean. Well Kept. Neat. Lighting a little inadequate - All Overhead Dim Lighting. No Lamps on Bedside Tables or Coffee Table. Would be nice and Give it a more 'personal" and "warm" Atmosphere, I Feel.

Check-in is from a window outside and it took a while as they couldn't find the Expedia reservation I made months before. When asked for the number of a taxi to make an early morning pick up - they would only recommend UBER as it was much cheaper. While they were well intentioned, it took me an hour to download the ap (I told her we had never used before and didn't care about the cost). The UBER never showed and she finally gave me the number for a taxi. Fortunately the cab arrived in 7 minutes (YELLOW CAB was great!) and we made it to the airport only a few minutes late for $25 instead of the $16 UBER would have charged...they don't guarantee scheduled pickup!!
