Had an overnight layover in LA, the hotel is super close to the airport and we utilized the shuttle service to get to/from LAX. We arrived late, but the restaurant was still serving food. Burgers and the salad were delicious and our server was attentive. Even though we only stayed for 5 hours because of our early flight home, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The hotel is extremely convenient to LAX - which is one of our selection factors. The property was clean, well managed and the facilities were fine. I want to additionally note that the staff was very honest and helpful: I accidentally left an IPAD and Bose Headphones in my nightstand and didn't realize it until I was on my flight away from LAX. I contact the hotel Lost & Found and, not only was the equipment turned in by housekeeping but they had a very efficient system for getting it FEDEXed to me. I am very grateful and I will be staying there again and obviously highly recommend this Hyatt.

It’s a good place to stay for a night - it’s an airport hotel so not a resort - the lobby is a bit like entry to an office but staff were efficient and professional - bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was actually nicer/more upmarket than I thought it would be - and clean and comfortable! Location is close to LAX so handy but also not scenic as you can imagine - if I was staying over more than / nights I would choose a beach city like Santa Monica but this was perfect for a late flight in and no hassle.

Location great for a quick overnight stopover after a long flight before continuing on. Rooms really showing their age though.

This is a wonderful hotel. We stay here when flying into and out of LAX. It is always a quick check in and check out. Room is consistently clean and ready for us. Food is excellent. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels and the food did not compare to this Hyatt. Also Shuttle service excellent and staff is always nice and informed.

Had a late flight into Denver airport and an early flight out the next morning, it was very easy to get to the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was very good, hotel was nice and quiet and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Our one night stay was great! Easy and fast check in after a long international flight literally saved the day! We were at a different hotel only to be told that it would be a 3 hour wait in line! Highly recommend this hotel.

I've ALWAYS returned my rental car, walked back to the hotel (15 minute walk) and take the airport shuttle the next day for an early morning flight. BEST hotel by LAX.

We ended up staying there on a last minute stay during a LA holiday. The area is not that great. Parking is expensive (though you can use SpotHero to find a parking lot in the Marriott right next door with free EV charging).

Both employees at check in and check out times were EXTREMELY pleasant and that attitude made me feel seen and appreciated. My favorite hotel check in and out EVER.

There is only one option to eat on premises. The food was fair. Although you could order delivery, we wanted the ease of eating at a restaurant. Would like to see additional food options here.

My husband and I were in bed and at 10:30 pm my husband got up to use the bathroom only to find the SINK stopped up with what looked like feces that was overflowing to the ground of the floor. I had my suitcase in the floor with toiletries all around the sink. We immediately called the front desk and immediately had to clear everything of mine out of the bathroom. The front desk woman sent up a plumber with a plunger for the toilet. IT WASNT THE TOILET! The woman was telling me to put my hand in the water to push the drain plug. The drain plug wasn’t shut.caldo the room next to us had the same issues. At this late of night we had to repack our belongings and change rooms. The front desk said there was no one to help us and we had to get dressed and go DOWN to the front desk to get a new key. NO HELP FROM THE HYATT PERSONNEL !! Upon check out the next day the woman was nice and said they would comp our previous night’s dinner. NOPE! I got billed for it today. I am expecting them to make this right. What a disgusting inconvenience with very little support from the Hyatt staff!! The lies and said my dinner would be computed. Today I see they charged me!

Hyatt Regency was fabulous. The staff was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Great views of Los Angeles Airport. I would definitely stay there again when in town. The room was very clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was great with good choices of hot and cold dishes.

I like that there is a self-serve, 24 hour market for basic food and drink, as well as a cafe. As a solo traveler, I also found it safe and the staff very helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. I also appreciate that there are water stations on each floor, so you can fill your water bottle.

Very nice property and perfect for an overnight between flights!

I only stayed at the Hyatt on a layover, but wished I had been able to arrive earlier and stay longer. I didn’t have to wait for the shuttle so I felt very safe despite my late arrival. The room was very spacious, immaculate, and comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly.

Across the street from the airport and the restaurant serves dinner after 10:30, which was unexpected and great! Efficient and clean and opted to walk to the airport instead of taking the shuttle, which was packed and not as frequent as I would have wanted. But the hotel was great!

The hotel's location is convenient to LAX. The airport shuttle is great. The shuttle driver super helpful and courteous. Check-in and check-out was quick. The room was clean. Soup and salad (takeout) from the bar was good. At check-out, I mentioned a cleanliness issue with the coffee maker; the clerk said she would notify housekeeping. Overall, I felt safe. The bad: During the first test run of the coffee maker, there were a lot of deposits (coffee grounds?). It took about ten cycles before there were no deposits. The DoorDash QR code was expired. The Grab and Go Market's hours were posted as open until 8PM. It was closed "for a break" around 5:30PM. Ordered soup and salad from the bar to eat in my room. A 20% fee was included in the $28 bill. Had to ask the server if that was the tip or some other fee. My floor did not have a vending machine. My deposit was refunded but not as quickly as I would have liked.

room was quiet despite being so close to the airport. The free shuttle was so convenient and the hotel was quite nice. The breakfast was pricey (hotel priced) but delicious so at least money was spent on something enjoyable. Loved the free water bottle at check-in. I would definitely come back and thought it was the most economically priced within the area.

Instead of doing the redeye flight from Portland to Belize city we stopped in LA for the evening and had a wonderful time at the Hyatt. The breakfast was very tasty and above par.

The hotel shuttle service is very bad. I waited more than 40 min. The shuttle drove by without stopping at the terminal because it is full. There seems to be one shuttle in service. The shuttle service is outsourced to the parking company next to the hotel. Do not recommend this hotel if you need a shuttle pick up at the LAX airport.

The staff. the valet - Hugo was such a gentleman, so joyful! Wouldn’t let us touch the door lol, such a great help in valet. the customer service - I did have a moment of confusion with the charges to my card but it got resolved. Lora in HR was patient and helpful with clarity. & the accessibility - having access to the gym, atm, market, pool, bar & dining area.. etc.. the hotel was close to a lot of the activities we had planned. The room was nice! The cleaning lady did her job well! .. Didn’t get her name :( but overall I enjoyed my stay.

They knew there was an issue and did not disclose it before I had my elderly in-laws stay the night. They were on their way from to Hawaii, and were expecting a respite. I would not recommend staying there. I feel we were deceived.

Having the water turned off to the entire hotel at 10pm the night of stay was inconvenient. Reduced rate should have been offered or some sort of compensation should have been given. Staff was excellent.

Perfect do one night stay for our transfer from LAX to Seattle. Pity we had to leave at 4:45am! But it was an easy 15mins walk to terminal 3. The free shuttle was full when it called in at our hotel, so we just hiked it! Nice, stylish spot to stay if you need a bed and some food.

I requested to have quite room away from runways, I put this request in expedia booking page. But they still assigned me a room closest to the runways. The hotel claims they have best technologies to block the noises, but we can hear planes departure noises. clearly. When I check in, I told the front desk staff about my request. I'm telling you that your future customers be awear that room location is very important.

I was in room 1041. AVOID IT AT ALL COST!!!! The room faces the airport, and there were times, too many for me, where the plane noise was a pain in the ass! Then the tv is slightly old-fashioned, and there is no guide on the tv. We are in 2026, yeah. Then there is the $75 valet fee; not to mention it is best to just get your own damn car. THREE TIMES I CALLED AHEAD!!!!! NO CAR!!!!! And I called, each time, TWENTY MINUTES BEFORE!!! And the employees seemed dumbfounded. Guys, it’s not rocket science. Maybe call the AC Hotel South, because their valet system is flawless, and I do not pay, almost a hundred dollars. See, this is what happens when I venture away from Bonvoy.

This is our second time staying here and we are very happy with how fast the shuttle comes to pick you up. The check in was very fast no lines or waiting. The Suite was excellent- clean, roomy and quiet! AC worked excellent as well. This is a vey well run Hyatt Regency. We plan to stay here anytime we travel through LA.

My tv didn’t work. We were starving and told the restaurant was open until 10:30. My phone did not work By the time the TV sorted. The menu was on the TV and so was room service it was 9:30. O used my cell to call the desk 3 times. The restaurant closed early s did room service so we had to door dash. Which we had to go downstairs to get they told the DD they would let us know it was there. We had no phone in the room so they did not. By the time we went to get our food it was cold. After a 17 hour holiday travel day with cancelled flights that forced our stay in LA we were surely disappointed

Was charged extra for my kids being in room. Room TVs were so old they could not stream, cleaning staff was laughing and joking in staff only area and never cleaned our room in two days. I had to go get towels myself. Cleaning crews did not speak any English. Basically for the feeling they were not trying to impress anyone people will stay there anyway because it is the airport Hyatt.

Another added bonus is the convenient airport shuttle bus. I had the pleasure of meeting two great drivers, one was from Belize and the other one who helped ease my mind when I shared with him my fear of flying. There was no red post that says hotel shuttle so I just asked someone

The shuttle was not easy to find. I started at the departure level and discovered that it was on the arrival lever. Also, the room had no semblance of a desk, which would have been handy. Also there was no grab bar in the shower, so I had to be extra careful not to fall.

Shuttle is shared with adjacent Car Parking Company. On check out I joined a queue waiting for a shuttle, staff at the door was successful in bringing forward a shuttle.

Flight canceedl during shutdown. This was a welcome respite. We had a nice dinner in the hotel. The waiter was terrific. The shuttle runs 24/7 and we had to leave at 3:30 a.m. so that alone was worth it!

You need to fix the hot water valve in the shower of room 1050. It is either scalding hot or cold. Cannot set the temperature. Valve does not work

The removable shower head does not stay in place. The shower switch for temperature doesn’t read correctly- hot water is not where it says. We called a maintenance man and looked stupid as you had to turn the dial completely around to get hot. The coffee machine needs leaning the first cup of hot water for a cup of tea was brown. The pillows are too low individually and too high with two pillows. You lift up the phone and thinks it’s not working but you have to push talk first. And to top if off the previous occupant had set an alarm for 6.00am which of course woke us. The bar staff were very helpful and the food was great. The hotel need to pay some attention to the maintenance of the details in the room. At least the room was very clean

Conveniently located close to the airport and shuttle was great but the food prices on the grounds were ridiculous. Very pricey and then they add 20% for service charge plus you are suppose to tip. For an average airport hotel it seems a bit much. The 20% is supppse to be on large groups but was still charged even though I was on my own. I travel a lot and have not noticed this in the past. For a one day business trip it was adequate.

The room, was reasonably clean but the bed was extremely firm and the pillows were uncomfortable as well. The air conditioning was just ok. It didn't cool off the room particularly quickly. The hallway rugs appeared to be a bit old and could use replacing. There was a slight off smell while in the hallways. Overall, I was not impressed since usually Hyatt Regency hotels are very clean, updated and comfortable. I would not stay there again.

The restaurant food and bar service was wonderful, however a little pricey.

It was okay, the hotel didn't offer breakfast. Also parking wasn't free even being a guest you had to pay 45 for 5 hours in the back which if you went up the street it was 25 for the whole day. All in all over priced and what's offered isn't worth the price tag.

I arrived on a Thursday afternoon, with not particularly (and more typical) busy LAX traffic. Two Hyatt Regency shuttles passed me by before one finally pulled over (I was at Terminal 7, the last stop before exiting the airport). I waited at the curb for at least a half hour before finally being picked up for the 5-minute ride. What I’m saying is that if you find yourself in a similar situation, consider walking. It will be faster. The Hyatt Regency is one of the first hotels on Century Blvd. after exiting the airport. If you’re able and not encumbered by luggage, you can get there much faster on foot. And if you do choose to wait at the curb, be sure to flag down the Hyatt Regency shuttle when it approaches. Keep your eye out for the white van with the purple lettering, which you won’t see until you can glimpse the side of the vehicle. Many of the hotel shuttles are white from the front, and you won’t have even a hint of where they are from until you have a peek at the side as it approaches. And the ones in the far lane are not going to pull over to pick you up, as they are full and already in the lane to exit the airport, so don’t take it personally. If you can do it, walk. It’s no further than you’ve probably already walked through the terminal, although you will have to return to the departure level to have access to the safest foot route.

Need a plug in on BOTH sides of the bed. Shower pressure is low and it was hard to get the water warm

Excellent service

Room was fine. Would have been better if at the bar, the man had known that I could also order the food of the main dining room. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that out until after I had eaten if you stay there, do ask for the main menu if you wish to eat at the bar unless you want the bar food.

For the advertised quality and price a stay here even in the suite level does not meet the expectations. Stayed here twice, both times the TV in the room did not work. Both times have been overnight business trips where I’m tired and I just was to layback turn fhe tv on and relax. But nope, not heee. Second time the shuttle took over 45mins to arrive at airport. Called the hotel was transferred to transportation, I was told to “wait for the purple bus” and hung up.

when I arrived, there was no instruction. I also had no lotion. I also was hoping for a brochure where things were just was what I expected for as much money as I paid.

I checked in early and understandably they didn’t have a room ready, which was ok. They took my email address and said they would contact me as soon as a room was ready. I waited two hours before asking if they had an idea of the wait time for a room. They replied that they had a room ready. How long would I have waited without knowing if I didn’t ask?

It was okay for a quick overnight to fly out early in the morning. Typical, modern, soul-less decor that all the chain hotels seem to abide by these days.

The fact that they charge $75 dollars for parking should have been prominently displayed across their entire ad! It was inconvenient to get to thos hotel, unsafe surroundings around the hotel and we were forced to pay for parking! I would have found something closer to my destination with cheaper or free parking and paid less than my stay there. Plus, i asked for a receipt and the staff said they would email me the reciept... it's been over a week now and i still have no receipts. Nothing in junk or regular mail. Nothing.

The bathroom lights downstairs were so bright I needed sunglasses. But the ones in the in-room bathroom were so dim we could hardly see. Too bad because the room was lovely and the bathroom was spacious

Quick and frequent shuttle to LAX.

I was a Hyatt member and my travel friend was not and we both had separate reservations. We arrived at the same time to check in seperately in to seperate rooms. He was given a room immediately, I was told I needed to wait. As a Hyatt member I was suprised that I had to wait while my friend who wasnt was given an immediate room. I then checked my bag and was given a ticket for my luggage. My friend and I went to the bar to wait for the room to be available. It was hours. To wait that long, you would think my room would have been drastically nicer than my friends room. After hours waiting, Im told my room is available. I give my luggage ticket to a man who then brings me and returns 4 different wrong sets of luggage. It was wildly incompetent. I then go to my room. My room is missing a chair and has a baby basket (that was not requested and I dont have children). My room was exactly the same as my friends room so unclear why as a Hyatt member, I had to wait so long for my room to be available. The only thing to do on this property is the pool and it was shutdown with a sign. We asked many staff employees when the pool was going to be open and most said they didnt know it was closed. We kept telling staff the pool has a sign closed. After more hours waiting for the pool to open, i called the front desk again and they said it would be open in 30 minutes. We go to the pool and it was not worth the wait. You listen to airplanes the entire time.

LOCATION! Great if you are flying out of LAX. Walk to the terminals. Not fancy but nicely appointed and business like.

The airport shuttle was awful. Multiples shuttles sped past the stop at the airport when we were waiting to get to the hotel. When we left again the next day there were so many people waiting for the shuttle we had to wait for the next one. Absolutely awful for an airport hotel.

If i had known that parking was going to be a complete rip off!!! I would have never stayed at this hotel. Then after checking out, i was told i would get an email with my receipt - i STILL (24 hours later now) have NO CLUE what i was charged from thos hotel!!! Never going to stay at a hotel by the airport again and probably going to plan my trips better so that i dont have to stay at hotels in thos city.

We were sent to a dirty room (unmade up). The replacement room was Ok except the shower control was locked in shut off and could not be operated. Desk person blamed housekeeping as being too strong in shutting off the control, but it was very tight. It was too late to call, we had as early morning flight. Not an auspicious experience.

The room was comfortable and clean. The porters are helpful but failed to help with our suitcases and my husband who has a leg injury ended up carrying the golf bag to the car. Very unfortunate.

We landed in LA without our luggage that was stuff in Europe so had no clothes or toiletries. The check in clerk had emergency toiletry supplies sent to our room for which we were very thankful. Exterior of the hotel is not much to write home about, BUT location near airport and shuttle back and forth are a real asset. Room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our needs, an overnight before flying the next day on to our final destination.

I requested a hotel near the LONG BEACH AIRPORT. Being unfamiliar with the area, I took the HYATT hotel option given by HOTELS.COM. only to find out once I arrived at the airport,,,,, that the Hyatt was over 20 miles away !!! Too late to shift my reservations to a hotel more closer. Lost $300.

Overall a nice hotel. Not a ton to do right around the airport in walking distance except the Sam First Jazz club but a 10 minute ride share/taxi will get you to some great food/drinks/music.

This hotel is our go-to when we need to overnight near LAX for a flight the next day. It's conveniently located near the QuikPark parking structure which is really convenient. The hotel is clean, service is top notch and the location can't be beat, highly recommend.

I stayed here two years ago and adored this place. Second time around wasn’t as good. My room had an awkward floor plan with the bathroom at the far end of the room. Lightbulbs were burnt out. Shower needed repairs. I went for breakfast in the morning and there was a woman loitering in the restaurant who had extremely large posterior implants and was playing videos on her phone loudly. At one point she used a butter knife to dislodge something under her toenail. She clearly wasn’t a hotel guest (maybe a guest’s “guest” though?). She was very disruptive and staff didn’t attempt to escort her off the property. I felt grubby from the entire experience and won’t be returning.

Parking is overpriced but understandable since its next to LAX. Make sure you tip the servers during breakfast. They only receive around $3dlls per breakfast voucher as a tip, so please help them out. Overall the place is nice.

The room was updated and felt like a new room. Very clean, I was impressed when I first saw the room. Shuttle to and from airport, I didn’t have to wait for the shuttle and the whole experience was very smooth. When you’re tired from a long international trip. The experience I had is what you hope for when you have an overnight layover.

Airport shuttle from airport took a while before arriving. I saw several shuttles from other nearby hotels come by twice to pick up passengers before we finally saw a Hyatt shuttle. When we saw one we tried to get on only to be told it was full and had to wait for another one. After arriving at the hotel late in the evening, there was one person checking in people with a line of around 20 people. There was another employee at a desk, seemingly oblivious to the line of people and once the line reached down to about 7 or so did he finally take a guest. Upon checking out, while waiting for a shuttle again, an empty shuttle came and told us another shuttle would be by to pick us up. 15 minutes later, that same shuttle came by to pick us up.

I was turned away as a guest when I tried to check in with my prepaid room as a visitor from Louisiana that chose not to carry his debit card, but had already prepaid the room so when they wanted to run the deposit and I asked to use Apple Pay they said I had to have the actual debit card or a major credit card even though I had a valid US passport, so even though they refunded the fee of the room, I was essentially kicked out of the room because I did not at the end of the day have my actual debit card by choice, even though there was Apple Pay as technology to pay. This was a very wicked thing and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said there was no one and I said well don’t you have any type of discretion authority since I have someone’s actual passport which is me they did not care and I had to walk down Century Boulevard to find another hotel that was in a dangerous neighborhood where I didn’t end up staying thank God due to a friend coming through, but this is what we’ve come to
