Pool was horrible. Did not let the kids swim. Room smelled like old musty feet. Stayed at many places around this area and will not recommend this one. Bright spot was the staff was great!

Make sure not to check out before you go the restaurant, otherwise they do not have away to charge you to your room

Beautiful property, fun to watch planes landing from our room window without the airport noise. The free shuttle to and from the airport was easy and convenient. We used Ubers for primary transportation, less than 5 minute waits. Shuttle service available to and from our concert venue was fast and well worth the cost! Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

After a six hour plane trip with mybhusband in a wheelchair and a ton of luggage, the shuttle didn’t show up after half hour so I called the hotel and asked what was happening and not very apologetically they said it would be there in 15 minutes. After another half hour, it still wasn’t there. Because every other hotel in the LAX area had four or five shuttles come by in the meantime - we went with one of them stayed elsewhere.. DO NOT stay at this hotel if you need a shuttle!!!! I told them I want a refund and they said I need to get it from Expedia.

Property was fairly dirty and dated. Hallways are more like old hospital doors and not modern. Water fountain is crusty and no bottled water unless you have spare kidneys to sell…and the overnight parking at $45 per night is a total sham rip off. Personally, don’t save the money and go to a better hotel. Good isn’t cheap and cheap isn’t good. Why did I forget that??

Great hotel

The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast there because it was expensive so we went to McDonalds which was right next to the hotel. Denny's wasn't too far away either (we liked Denny's much better). Parking at the hotel was easy but a bit confusing until we figured out what to do with the help of the front desk. They were very helpful and all the staff we came across were very nice.

Very clean staff could be a little nicer breakfast was suppose to be complimentary but wasn't and they only have a buffet over $25 a day plus gratuity. Parking was expensive was charged $45 a day.

Prices were high for soft drinks. Great location and the shuttle is a good perk.

My stay at this hotel went well. I appreciated the convenience of the complimentary shuttle to the airport, my initial room wasn't very clean and the beds had dirty sheets brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk and housekeeping on the floor I was on and was immediately provided with a different and better room. The security staff provided me with a list of places to eat nearby which I appreciated, due to this hotel charging high fees for complimentary breakfast I feel like for the price that is charged per day they should at least have complimentary breakfast. The restaurant located in the hotel is very nice and I believe they serve breakfast and dinner. I wouldn't mind paying for dinner as the menu did seem very enticing, but not allowing breakfast to be a free amenity just added to the high parking fees that were also associated with staying there. One or the other should be changed possibly the complimentary breakfast many patrons we're walking around disgruntled thinking as if this was no more than a money grab which kind of spoiled our satisfaction

Flushing the toilet is loud. Like an airplane flush. We got use to it. Must be more efficient in saving water.

I only used this hotel for sleeping and showering during my stay. It didn’t particularly stand out or leave a lasting impression, but it was clean and served its purpose. Overall, an okay place to stay if you’re mainly looking for a place to rest.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel with my kids. Staff were lovely. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was great. Airport shuttle really handy. Location fab. There's only one issue i had and that's the water glasses at breakfast were not very clean, and this was every day of my stay.

For starters, when attempting to enter our room, the key didn't work and an individual opened the door from inside the room. Quite a surprise for both of us as were given the wrong room number. We were given the correct room number from the front desk and as we were heading towards the elevators, a cockroach ran past us on the floor. We were staying at the hotel only to catch an early flight the next morning so we weren't able to use any of the amenities or try the breakfast. In all honesty, we probably won't return to this hotel due to the poor experience.

We were not able to use the breakfast coupons we had paid for since we had to return to the airport before breakfast was served. The airport shuttle in the morning did not have regular hours and you could not make a reservation for it. We did not want to chance missing the shuttle and being late for our connecting flight so ended up with an additional $25 lyft expense.

The room is very much out of date. The baseboards were broken and the bathroom sink was falling apart. Parking is $45 a night, yes $45 a night. Staff is very unhelpful and you be waiting if you want to check In early

Everything was OK, only the faucet was acting strange. I had similar experience before too. I think the faucets should be better maintained. In all other respects, I had no complaints.

I always stay here during my LAX layovers. The only negative is the shuttle bus is fairly infrequent with picks ups from LAX compared to other hotels. The steak dinner in the restaurant exceeded my expations. The bartenders are alway great and fun to talk to.

The bathroom was dirty. You could tell they did not sweep or wipe down the bathroom. The air vent looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. Also 45$ a day for parking is crazy.

It’s close to airport and has a shuttle It’s expensive for basic things. I understand it’s Cali and I guess that’s how it is but it’s pretty crazy to spend 150$ for 1 day. But as I said I’m not from Cali if this is normal then great.

Location wasn't bad. Tried calling the front desk to get the shuttle information, no answer or would not work (busy signal) when I finally reached "jasmine" at the front desk to ask her about the shuttle she wasn't very helpful but told me the shuttle "comes every 45 mins or so and would be here in about 15 minutes" We came down in 10, shuttle had just passed. Jasmine mentioned she didn't see it because "she was taking her break" When we did get the shuttle, another woman taking it with us was mentioned she was informed about a shuttle tracker app on her phone, we were never told of such thing. Jasmine had a bad attitude and bad customer service.

It was nice and clean the staff was awesome everybody was friendly. The staff was very helpful There was limited parking it was so jam packed and we paid 45 for parking and had to wait for a spot to open. The breakfast wasnt free that’s why we booked here because we thought it was free breakfast and free parking. In our room the AC was broken so we couldn’t adjust the temperature it stayed on our whole stay we couldn’t turn it down and it was cold. But other than that it was a good stay the staff was friendly and very helpful and it was very clean.

Mainly there is no curtain in the washroom bathtub, after shower the water was fully on the floor. It was almost flooded. I would not recommend for sure. As a frequent traveler, I was surprised that my credit card was taken by the receptionist and noted all the details. I haven’t seen in other places. Overall don’t choose this hotel.

I sent a message previously regarding the shuttle transportation from the airport. I waited over 1 1/2 hrs - called the hotel twice to ask about the shuttle service. They described the shuttle and the name on it, etc. None went by like that. I just happened to see a plain white shuttle pull over and up in the window in SMALL letters was Holiday Inn!!!! They should have explained that! See above.

The staff was great, and the room overall was good, but it wasn't as clean as I would have expected. The rooms are also dated. But again, the staff was so good so I would probably come back.

Our room was clean, the hotel staff was fantastic and the airport shuttle was extremely convenient. Will stay here again the next time we need to up and at the airport bright and early.

Room clean. I had a meal at the restaurant, staff super nice. Hotel Manager greet us once we arrived by the shuttle, we dont see that in Europe, loved it

I did not use it and they still charging me, even if I told the receptionist that was a double reservation to cancel the one for Expedia but still charging me

The bathtub was extremely dangerous. Very slippery. I had to put a towel on the bottom of the tub because when l put my foot in it it slipped. The edge of the baseboard behind bathroom door was dirty. The base of toilet was dirty. The paint on bathroom door was coming off, the same with the molding around bathroom door.

Great value compared to surrounding properties. No set shuttle schedule but they have an app to use to track it. It runs 24 hours which is a big plus. It is in walking distance to LAX rental car center. Very convenient. It's basic but clean. Food and drinks are on the high side.

All was fine except Hotel needs to be refurbished. Breakfast and parking are not included in the room rate. However, Hotel does offer free shuttle service to LAX Airport.

The Concierge Joe is awesome. Very helpful with luggage, tours and just a great personality doing a great job.

The hotel was a comfortable place to spend the night before heading to downtown LA the next day. Can’t speak to any of the amenities since we arrived just before midnight and were gone the next morning by 10. The lobby was full of happy sounding travellers before we left though, so that seems like a positive sign.

The porters, the front desk agent, the bartender - all were very obliging, pleasant, warm and keen to go the extra mile. Not just walking through their jobs dispassionately but really caring.

Nice beds and appreciate the staff letting us check in a few hours earlier than 3 PM which was very helpful as we had been up 30+ hours with our flights. Also appreciate the shuttle getting us to and from the airport. The room needs better electrical outlets as the only one we could charge our devices on was the outlet in the bathroom.

We had a very nice stay at Holiday Inn LAX recently. Our room was outfitted with two queen beds. The beds were comfortable. The room was a bit crowded, making it difficult to get into a bed close to the wall, but we managed. It had a good shower, which I think is important. We ate in the restaurant a time or two. The food was good, and the staff was attentive. We used the free shuttle service from and to LAX. The driver was punctual and helpful. Everything about our stay was good, and we would definitely stay at the Holiday Inn LAX if we ever visit again.

Breakfast was expensive and mediocre. Room was not well maintained. Entrance door was left wide open upon first entry and entrance door was broken so we were locked inside and could not get out and had to get help from maintenance staff to open up.

The hotel is convenient because it’s located near the airport and there is a shuttle to the airport. Other than that, I can’t really say I liked the stay. The rooms are dated and smell musky and moldy. Our toilet didn’t flush on the first room we stayed at. The area isn’t the greatest. I didn’t feel comfortable using the showers and it was a quick stay. I would stay skip this and spent a little more for something that feels cleaner and safer.

The breakfast at the hotel was very expensive so we didn’t get that. We got two alcoholic beverages at the bar that came out to $35. 20% of that was the automatic tip we weren’t prepared for. The bar tender talked to us only twice and never smiled. The first room we were staying in was kind of dirty. It was supposed to be an upgrade but definitely I was not feeling the upgrade for that room. It was a little dirty but when I stepped in the shower, I felt like the shower floor was going to break. The second room was much better and more spacious. Maybe that room was the upgrade we originally were told we were getting. The employees or staff at the front desk were all very nice

However, what made me really uncomfortable and unhappy is that the concierge who helped us secure our luggages was impatient, rude and he ASKED us for tips when we dropped off the luggages. I understand that people in the industry reply heavily on tips (I was in the same industry when I was in college), and I always appreciate their services and tip them when picking up (I usually ask when they will finish their shift so if they will finish before my intended pickup time, will tip when dropped off instead). The day we dropped off our luggages, the concierge ASKED for tips twice before I even said anything. Although I understand the importance of tips, tipping is not mandatory and this behavior is very unprofessional and inappropriate in the customer service industry… The way he askes for tips was not nice either, he asked in a rhetorical question…

Very poor customer service from agents an inconvenience of having to be locked out of the room that was paid for under any circumstances And to additionally I could have stayed at any other hotel with impeccable customer service and breakfast included…paying 25.00 for breakfast just shows IHG chooses profit or the very reason for being their business is for customers and comfort But my interactions were recorded for quality assurance and training so that is proof that my grievance was ignored properly

One of the dryers doesn’t work well. Our tv was broken and then they moved us into another room with another broken tv. There was a huge hairball in the bathroom, and burned holes in the carpet. For 300+ dollars for two nights not including the 45$/night parking fee it was super subpar.

Hotel room is clean and spacious, even though it can use some updating. Front desk and airport shuttle drivers were all very helpful and courteous. There are a convenient store and McDonald's right next to the hotel if you need to grab something quick. Good value one night stay for us before flying back home.

First, it sucks that as a customer of the hotel we have to pay for parking. I should have done more research. $45 per day. Just be aware. I thought i saved on my hotel reservation but ended up paying $35+ 3.50 tax for parking. I stayed 5 nights. Almost $200 in parking. Breakfast is not free like the other hotel. It is close to the airport thats good. Its is an older hotel. Just not what I accepted. This hotel is good if you will uber around the city. I saved on the hotel but ended paying in the parking. Also no breakfast 😢.

Staff were very efficient and friendly. We didn’t get our luggage and they were able to give us toiletries (toothpaste & toothbrushes) to hold us over. The room was spacious and clean! Also loved how convenient the location was to the airport, McDonalds, a gas station for snacks etc - all within walking distance. The shuttle service was also very efficient. Check in was at 3 pm arrived at 3:17 to a lobby of 20 people waiting to check in and no rooms available due to cleaning issues. Waited almost an hour after checking in to get keys to our room which significantly impacted our plans. We had to be somewhere at 5 and not getting in the room until 4 left us little time to do the things we needed beforehand.

Room door was beyond squeaky. The whole door need to be replaced. Just opening the door felt like I was going to make noise the entire guest all the way down the hall would hear. The shower pressure was so low. I had to take a bath instead. The parking machine didn’t work had to drive to two different ones. Finally the guard saw my frustration and opened the gate.

On arrival, parking attendant had a confrontation with our uber driver. Even thought the uber driver did not follow the no parking in front of the doors, the hotel employee shouted foul language at him and took pictures of his plate which set off a screaming match in the lobby. The hotel employee started the issue and totally handled the situation wrong. He could have easily dealt with it in a more professional manner and de-escalated the situation.

Close to LAX airport with free shuttle. A Starbucks is right beside the hotel. Friendly staff. Our room was a connecting one though which was locked but we could hear every conversation the family was having and crying babies the whole night of our stay.

Hotel is older but clean. It would have been nice to have more dining options as breakfast only had a brunch option. The shuttle service was appreciated and security was excellent and visible when we went outside alone after sunset. It would have been nice to have some dining options close to the hotel when you are new to the area.

Reason for 2 star was we arrived a little early and the staff was asking money right away just to put our luggage in the luggage storage area which is literally just behind his counter. When we asked why, he said "tip". Gave us an ugly look when we didn't give any.

Check in was fast and easy. I got to my room right away, even though check in was 3pm, I got my room around 1230. Room was nice, but after walking around for a bit I did find some issues. Food crumbs on the nightstand, old McDonald receipts in the drawer. There was a power outlet not screwed into the wall, so it was hanging loose. Seems to me like a safety hazard. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was broke and loose. Seems like it could be an easy thing to fix, just replace the seat. Not sure how long that’s been broken. Other than those issues, it’s a good place for a short stay.

The down sides were parking and The front entrance drive up was congested on a regular basis and the ticket system for parking was extremely annoying. It required validation stickers to be attached to the meter receipts which was very confusing and on two occasions the validation stickers stopped working and necessitated obtaining a new one to get in and out of the parking areas. Also all doors and elevators required the use of a room key to access. They weren’t consistent in their necessity and it seemed very redundant. Not sure why the elevators would need this type of security measure. Lastly use of the parking structure was an additional charge that wasn’t clearly stated in the website before booking. I understand that the trade off is not all guests have vehicles so the booking price is attractive but getting blindsided with that charge at check-in was off putting. In addition the staff stated that a $100 deposit was required but when the hold was placed on my credit card it was for the full amount of my projected stay plus the deposit. Then it was stated that the deposit would be refunded a few days after my bill was reconciled. I paid for the parking upfront so the deposit is the companies way of getting extra monies to generate investment revenue. I doubt i would have stayed here if I knew this issues in advance.

The building had a weird/bad smell. The coffee machine was leaking and not working. The room is far from being soundproof. You can hear people in the hallway even though they are speaking at a normal volume. The towels and the bed were clean. The staff is friendly and will quickly respond if you need anything. I did not have the breakfast and therefore cannot judge. The parking fee is a little expensive ($40). Overall, it was ok but I would not stay again. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn and always had a good experience. This is by far the worst Holiday Inn I have stayed at.

Lobby was good. Room had issues. Carpet was old and dirty. Wall paper was pulling loose at the seams. Tv table / desk had what appeared to be water damage to the particle board. Toilet seat was coming off. I informed the staff and they said these are common issues that they are working on.

The room was very ordinary.... simple and bare bones. For one night it was ok.....but really needed a good sleep and definitely was NOT.. There was so much noise from slamming doors, banging luggage and corridor chatter...not to mention the sound of trucks and bus /delivery transports at all hours of the night. So..so .. bad. !!!!

Great customer service as usual! However, the cleaning person was so loud! Starting at 9 am kept on asking if we were leaving! I had to keep on telling her we had a check out at 1 pm. The whole time I couldn’t rest. I never had such experience at a holiday inn. Her yelling, speaking loudly with other staff was uncomfortable!

The basic job of a hotel is to provide a good night sleep. Right? We traveled near the airport a day early to get that sleep. What we got was a 2nd floor room with a mesh window curtain and nothing else. We were doing shadow puppets against the back wall of the room. Two street lights, a building sign and the golden arches beaming through to room all night. BAD!

The location was pretty good because it is at a what seemed to be a 24 hour, 2 story McDonalds that offered late- night convenience. The area is very busy with several homeless on the street, but never on the actual property itself and they have an abundance of security to make sure it is a safe and clean environment. They offer shuttles to Kia Forum and to LAX for a charge from a third party. $20 one way or $30 round to per person to the Kia Forum, I am not sure if the price is very for the airport. Very clean shuttle and friendly driver. The area and hotel room is very clean , lobby very clean. All and all good location with accommodations, but the hidden parking fee was ridiculous.

Room was in decent condition but there was a broken piece of furniture under the sink in the bathroom. Also, while the front desk staff was polite, I was charged $10 for a Coke and Snickers, which is just old fashioned highway robbery!!!

The stay was ok given it was just about 4 hours to sleep before catching a flight but the shower head sucked! It was broken and didn’t allow the water to adequately spray on you. Also, the $33 parking was insane. It feels like that should be included as a hotel guest. The staff was friendly especially in the restaurant and surprisingly the beds were decent.

I book my hotel through Expedia and I have been charged 3 times first time was 171 Dallars for a hotel I didn’t booked in New York and I haven’t received my money back on November 16 it was the same night I book the hotel here in Los Angeles holiday inn and the they charge my card another 228 Dallars that says pending and when the got there and ask there don’t know anything about it then I was charge a 190 Dallars for the night I’ll be staying there and a 100 Dallars on hold Incase I purchased anything on property that one I know about and when I try to query these charges I came up with nothing and I need my money back

I booked a room without breakfast and the airport shuttle was not easy to find as there were many tourists in the lobby waiting for cruise ship buses. The room was basic and clean, but fixtures are dated the service at the front desk was good but there were a long waits to check in.

My friend and I stayed here before a cruise, and the concierge was very helpful in helping schedule a ride to the port. I will say I believe the free ride from the airport drops you off at the same location but I forgot to schedule that in time.
