    Was mislead by other reviews. Room and building are simply a little worn down. Room smelled a little funny. Super disappointed in the Airport Shuttle which is shared with two off-airport parking lots. Twice it was too crowded to board with luggage. Ended up taking an Uber instead.

    This appears to be an older hotel that has undergone updating. Our room was very clean, which is the most important thing! Not fancy, but had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Location for the reason we were in LA was good. There were lots of people staying there for the same reason we were there, and that was very fun. This hotel has the best sound-proofing we've ever experienced! We heard nothing from next door or the hallway. As for the staff, tip top in all interactions. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We were happy with our stay.

    The restaurant hours are terrible. Open 6am-10am closed from 10am-5pm, then open again for dinner. The bar was open but no food until 5pm. Restaurants in immediate area are all fast food. 😕 The bartender was super sweet, we liked her a lot! They have 3 elevators for 10 floors and only 1 was working. It was super annoying. We took the stairs a number of times but we had too much luggage to do it at arrival or when we checked out. Electrical outlets were out on one side of the bed. We let them know when we left bc we didn't have time when we first noticed. Airport shuttle rides were long and crowded. People had to stand. We used Lyft bc it wasn't reliable for us with 30 mins between them. Front desk called them on the radio and they didn't even answer her back. Room was nice otherwise, bed was really comfortable! I probably won't stay here again bc there are other options.

    It was unfortunate timing. 3 elevators and only 1 was working so a full hotel with at least 7 or 8 floors and only 1 elevator was problematic. Some people were waiting over 40 minutes to get down stairs. Many just humped their suitcases down the stairs.

    Parking was extra. Okay, $55/Day… Really? Then the pay station asked how many days I would be parking. I answered 3 nights/ 4 days. It only charged me for two days. When I returned at the end of the second day, I had to buy another parking ticket. So confusing. Breakfast was the same every day. No pancakes or waffles unless you eat to pay extra. Buffet breakfast was already $24 / Day. Seems like Hilton just wants to nickle and dime you to death.

    Excellent place. Very clean and roomy. Has a few eating places near by. The shuttle doesn’t always run every 30 minutes so be out waiting in plenty of time or you could miss your plane.

    The rooms were quiet, which was a plus. The bathroom amenities could have been a bit more upscale - a single bar of soap. We were lucky to have breakfast included in our booking - otherwise, the $23 buffet would not have been worth the price and there are no breakfast places within walking distance. The number of items on the buffet were limited and there was no waffle station to complement the eggs and potatoes on the buffet. I am not a fan of small coffee cups because that required four trips across a large room to get additional cups of coffee. The desk staff displayed a range of cheerfulness - some seemed grumpy and others welcoming. The hotel shuttle was a bright spot as it got us to LAX efficiently.

    Breakfast was good, and included. First room they gave us was not ADA accessible. Had to move to new room. This room was right against a very busy road, very noisy. We checked in on Thursday and left Sunday. We never received room cleaning.

    If you have a car rental that requires drop off at the LAX airport PICK THIS HOTEL for convenience. We arrived, dropped our bags off, drove 500 m to the airport car rental return place, left within minutes on foot and we were back to the hotel in no time. We did this prior to our departure to make things easier but now having done it you very likely can accomplish everything at once. There’s a 4th floor roof top patio with some things you could do, however it was just cold for us may 26. The gym is fantastic though.

    Room was very comfortable and generally the hotel was great At 3:30am my daughter waited 15+ minutes for the airport shuttle. When she popped in for one minute to confirm it was running, she turned to see the shuttle drive through the pickup area without stopping. She was at the desk at that time so asked if that was the shuttle and the lady just nods, no comment. In the end it circled back but overall she felt it was far from ideal to have to wait outside alone all that time, and that it was a rude / not great shuttle experience.

    The hotel has no pool even though in the shifty elevators they have a sign for it. The staff was as rude as possible. They offer in room service yet when I called during hours for it, they said they don’t offer it and to come order at the bar. I went and ordered my 30$ chicken tenders kids meals that were supposed to come with drinks as well but they didn’t give me any and the gentleman at the bar was already irritated I was ordering so he walked away very quickly. No one was helpful when it came to checking in, parking, bringing my bags up. I would NEVER recommend this place.

    There was a charge for the breakfast so did not try it excessive parking fee so unable to park at hotel free airport shuttle ran very slowly due to being shared with other hotels some guests took Ubers instead so they wouldn’t miss there flight very poor selection of tv channels no sports! Not recommended and would not stay again

    The staff was extremely unhelpful and did not explain the requirement to pay for parking in order to leave the premises. The parking is managed by a third-party and was not working. There was no one on site that could help troubleshoot it and the security that was there was extremely rude. They were demanding to see a receipt to prove that I paid for parking win. You have to pay in order to leave the parking garage and the box that you pay at does not provide a receipt. This establishment needs to be trained on how to troubleshoot the parking box if they’re going to require that Hilton customers park their car there than they have to do better. I paid over $120 for parking when it should have only been $55. The security guard was combative and was harassing me. She went out of her way to come up to my vehicle and knock on my window. I was trying to leave. I was extremely late to my sister‘s graduation at USC. I would never recommend anyone to stay here when we checked into the hotel. It smelled like a dead animal, they offered to come in and clean it and instead of just getting me a new room they finally got me a new room and it was gonna be on a different floor than what my family was on which was extremely inconvenient.

    This hotel has a convenient location near LAX. It is walking distance to the rental car center so we returned the car the night before our flight to save $$. The room was very nice and clean. However, BE WARNED that the free airport shuttle is a poor service. We checked out at 7:45am on Saturday and waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes. Finally the shuttle arrived but it was so full it could only hold 2 people. There were at least 8 of us who needed a ride to the airport. We had to book an Uber. I wish we had taken Uber sooner and not wasted 1/2 hour of our time. Luckily we didn't miss our flight. Take my advice - skip the shuttle and book an Uber or Lyft.

    The room smelled terrible, they had 3 elevators but only one of them worked. The parking garage is ran by a 3rd party company and it doesn’t work properly and is predatory. I was over charged and so was my family who stayed there as well. The security woman by the name of Yvonne who assists with the parking was very combative, yelled and got into my sisters face as well as my fathers demanding to see receipts of paid parking when the whole system is ran by a license plate reader. Overall it was a terrible stay and I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here.

    Staff wasn’t very helpful when any concern came up. Parking was overly complicated with a weird digital system that comes at a steep price. It even charged me ($70) twice. When I arrived at my room, another guest had already gone inside. A good opportunity to improve would be to have more staff and a better courtesy attitude. Other than that, okay location and well maintained facility with a clean modern look!

    Staff where terrible ! A member of staff lost a key they refused to give her one and she has to sleep in reception, we called, we messaged, we gave them every detail and they still refused ! Unsafe if you are a female and travelling here DO NOT do it. Receptionist women Jean was vile and very unhelpful. Then was placed on hold. Its not safe for female visitors.

    On top of parking, the walls were paper thin. We head our neighbors alarm go off for 20 minutes every morning and the action movies they watched at night. The mattresses and pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The only way we would get cool air to come out of the AC was to put it at 65. If you upped it to 66 or above, hot air came out. Overall bad.

    Breakfast is not included. The price of $24 for the breakfast seems too much given they don’t have many options in the buffet. It says they clean your room every other day. Mine wasn’t. I had to ask them to do it. The hotel shuttle to the airport was delayed over 40 minutes, even though the fire itself is less than 15 minutes and there’s no traffic. The staff was friendly and efficient, but there’s nothing really happening for the hotel other than the staff.

    Only issue is the parking. It’s $55 dollars a day. On Friday and Saturday nights, there was no parking available and I was unable to get assistance with a refund. There’s not enough spaces for the size of the hotel. Had to pay additional money to park at neighboring hotel. Parking is a problem! Otherwise it was a good stay.

    Poor experience getting out of the parking structure. Took us 30 mins just to get out. We scanned our parking ticket and the system kept telling us the ticket we scanned was closed. Scanned QR code it wouldn’t take me card had to do it over 5 times I’m hoping I didn’t get charged all of them times, going to have to contact my back to make sure I wasn’t over charged.

    Stayed overnight in between flights to Tahiti. Good place for this purpose with free shuttle to the airport that runs evey 30 mins. Only negative, no pool to cool off and pass the time.

    We were charged twice for parking, and the hotel staff said they couldn’t resolve the issue because it was handled by a third party. Parking availability was also very limited, which made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.

    Lots of hidden charges, $60 if you park in their garage EVERY TIME YOU LEAVE, the property information states they are “pet friendly” but do not have adequate areas for dogs to do their business, and they charge $75 pet fee despite not having facilities to manage them. They also charge you a $150 deposit and say it will take 5 days to go back to your account, I have little hope that they will return my deposit at all, even tho we left no mess, my dog is well trained, and we stayed only 1 night. The room was ok, blankets are terrible, the hallway carpet smells of mist and urine.

    Close to LAX. Room was clean but drab. 2 off brand bottles of water sitting on dresser not cold with a price tag of $3 each. Paper cups provided for coffee from Keurig which was nice at no charge. There was 2 reg 1 decaf and 2 tea k-cups provided. The nice ladies at reception gave me an accessible room with a bathtub. Restaurant open 6-10am for breakfast $23 charge. $55/night charge to park in hotel lot. Also charged an add’l $24 fee after checkout for some type of CA employee tax. $100 deposit charged to card was promptly refund 2 days after checkout. Staff working at front desk and throughout hotel was super nice. Customer service agent who provided explanation for $24 charge after checkout was very rude and seems to be annoyed at the fact that I even had a question. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes however it is a very small shuttle and fills quickly leaving some guest including myself to stand outside an additional 30 minutes for the shuttle to return. Do not leave the spot to wait inside or you will loose your place in the crowd and possibly be left again. I saw an older guy who didn’t make the same shuttle as me wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle get pushed aside by the crowd and nearly left without a seat. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Much nicer hotels on the same street which is very close to LAX and they also provide much larger and nicer shuttles.

    When it was finally time to check in, the same receptionist insisted that they only accept a **physical card** for the $100 deposit. He claimed the hotel does not accept Apple Pay or tap payments, only physical cards. However, I clearly saw the Apple Pay logo displayed on their machine. He still refused and would not let me check in. As a result, I had to carry my luggage around outside for more than five hours until my friend arrived so we could try checking in again. This time, there was a different front desk staff. They told us they have always accepted Apple Pay or tap payments and that there is no such rule requiring a physical card. We were able to pay the $100 deposit with Apple Pay smoothly without any issues. We will definitely file a complaint against that male receptionist. We will not be coming back and do not recommend this hotel at all.

    Staff was super slow during check in which was understandable because of the busy weekend but what was the absolute worst about this hotel is the parking situation. I was charged $10 for going into the parking garage attached to the hotel and leaving immediately since there was absolutely no parking. They couldn’t refund me this $10 because i booked through Expedia and not their actual website. Also the elevators are hella old and janky and took forever to get into when there are only 10 floors to this hotel. Overall not happy with my experience at this hotel. Would not recommend!

    Property seems very outdated and less amenities compared to standards of Hilton. The airport shuttle is very helpful. TV condition is good. Youtube accessible. But the washroom and air conditioning needs improvement. Beds are comfy. Elevators and door lock systems are very old and seem unreliable.

    When I went to the front desk to resolve the situation, the service was poor and not helpful. Nobody seemed interested in actually solving the problem or offering a fair solution. It was a very frustrating and disorganized experience. On top of that, they charged me a $100 deposit at check in and after check out they returned only $68 without any explanation. I left the room in perfect condition, I barely used the room, basically only to sleep at night, I didn’t use the minibar and there was no damage at all. Even so, they simply kept part of my money with no transparency. Overall, the hotel showed lack of organization, lack of transparency with charges, and very poor customer service. I do not recommend this hotel and I definitely would not stay here again.

    When I asked about parking, they told me I can just cancel my reservation and go elsewhere. knowing all the hotels were already sold out because of the event, everyone was going to will never stay at this hotel again so sad Hilton is supposed to have a standard.     We chose to stay at this hotel due to early morning flights and it is close to LAX. We arrived late, the staff was busy talking so it took a minute to help us, then they immediately went back to chatting after checking us in and not paying attention to when we needed more help. The room was clean, but felt out dated. It served its purpose and I would probably stay her again if needed. Just not a high-end place.

    Lack of staff. It took over an hour to check in. My room did not have enough towels. I called the front desk to ask for one towel and they took over an hour to bring the towel, to which I called a second time asking what the ETA was and they said all they could do was let housekeeping know again.     Room was clean upon arrival. Cleaning of rooms during the stay is only done only BY APPOINTMENT (lame!). Never got any cleaning done in the 4 nights we were there, despite making an appointment. By the 3rd night having no cleaning services performed, we canceled it, and yet we got charged extra for it. (Not acceptable!) We had to go down to the front desk to swap out the down pillows for foam pillows and had to also get our own clean towels from the front desk as well. This is not good customer service and will not likely stay here again. The elevators also consistently had a funky smell to them, not sure what it was, but definitely not good for those of us who have allergic reactions to strong smells…

    The room was fine. The price for parking was ridiculous considering there are no employees working the gates. The exit gate was stuck and we had to get back up, get out of the car and go to the front desk to be let out of the garage. $55 plus tax!!! Freaking ridiculous!!! There is no way Hilton can justify the parking fees for hotel guests. For this reason i will not ever stay at another Hilton hotel.

    The room was good, clean, quiet and comfortable. Reception staff were freindly. I am upset that I was charged a "LA Workers Protection fee" of $12.00 US dollars. This fee was not disclosed by Expedia or by the Hilton Garden Inn. I found out about it when my invoice from the hotel was emailed to me. They took the fee off my credit card that I had to give the hotel for incidental costs. I feel this charge needs to be included in the rate charged by Expedia. I feel scammed by both Expedia and Hilton.

    Room was cool 66 degrees. Temp set for 70 but 20 min later still 66 also the fan was noisy. Went to the front desk and they said a tech would come and look at it. He did and all he did was turn the temp to 80 deg. During the evening the temp varied back and forth between 65 and 80 deg. Went to the front desk and asked if they could move us to a different room. No over booked. Glad we weren’t checking in late. Turned the hvac unit off for the night.

    The remote control for the television wasn’t working properly and was extremely frustrating. The bed was lumpy. The woman at the reception desk was aloof towards me and my questions. She has horrible customer service skills. I have worked in the service industry my entire career. I will not repeat the mistake of reserving a room with your hotel again.

    Staff were as helpful as they could be dealing with having to be forced to pay for 2 hotel stays even though only stayed for that one trip. But I was made to pay for both trips because Expedia would not work with the hotel property to correct. So spent a lot of time in the lobby on the phone trying to rectify that when it never got rectified. The hotel stated they would provide guests with new towels & such every other day but was never provided with new towels and even had to resort to calling down late at night after just getting back to the hotel from being out all day and get new towels and wait for them so we could shower. The staff were friendly when interacting with them, just was an upsetting situation all around though.

    I need new towels and coffees and cups everyday while staying in hotels or any other accommodations. Most of all, the female receptionist's attitude was very unkind, not friendly and being rude. It was Christmas day. We spent very nice time outside, but as soon as we got back to our room in Hilton Garden Inn, we couldn't believe it. They didn't clean the room on 24th, but I waited for the next day. It was a Christmas family trip to LA from Canada. I DO NOT recommend this Hilton Garden Inn LAX airport. There are few more things to mention about this place. They charge $3 per bottled water to regular customers. If you are not a Hilton honor member, buy your own water. It's very slippery inside the bathtub. You need to be very careful when you take a shower. They charge you USD $55+tax for a parking spot every day. They charged me on my credit cards so many times with different amount of money, so I have to calculate a

    Never saw breakfast, lunch or dinner. Only an area where you could buy sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. Air conditioning/ heat unit was way too loud. Very disturbing. Not able to sleep. No hotel shuttle to the airport. Had to use general shuttle that serviced several hotels therefore you had to wait for a shuttle to stop that had space available.

    Everything thing was good with the property except the amount it cost to park which should be included with the stay.     The front desk situation was just as bad. There was only one employee working, moving incredibly slowly with no support staff in sight. We waited nearly 40 minutes just to check in. When we explained the parking issue, they acted clueless and claimed we should have “spoken to the front desk” to avoid the fee — even though we literally did. If they actually listened or provided proper guidance, this entire situation could have been avoided. To make matters worse, they refused to help us with a refund for the first night’s parking, despite the fact that the confusion and inconvenience were entirely caused by their lack of communication and professionalism. No accountability and no effort to make things right. If we had known how disorganized the parking process was and how poor the customer service would be, we would have never booked this hotel. It was truly disappointing from start to finish. Hands down the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

    The location was convenient and the airport shuttle was good. It is a bit of a sketchy area. The staff were good and everything seemed clean. The major complaints are it was quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It was soft and lumpy and clearly ready for replacement. The other complaint is the walls were too thin.

    Room is excellent. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is clean. Bathroom needs to be modified to prevent unexpected falls while taking a shower. There are no handrails to grab and nothing on the bathtub floor to prevent falling. I fell while showering and suffered bruised abdominal muscles. My abdomen muscles still hurt when I move.

    On a side note: the cleaning and maintenance staff were amazing. Each person I encountered were so friendly and kind. However, I did interact with3 different front desk staff and they were quite snobby and cold (all 3). It was fine- I gave high marks for the other staff, not the front desk. We tried calling the front desk at least 6 different times and nobody ever answered. I finally had to go down stairs to talk to them. That was strange. I will come back though. It was a great stay.

    We were assigned a room designed for someone who uses a wheelchair, which isn’t a good choice if you don’t use a wheelchair. This hotel doesn’t have a pool as the pictures on the website show, pool was removed a few years ago. We were awoken at 6 am due to a union protest on the sidewalk in front the hotel. Finally this is the only property that I ever stayed at that adds a worker protection fee to the bill. Would never stay there again.

    The hotel was poorly constructed. I get it's an airport hotel, but at least try to insulate the sound of airplanes all night and even street traffic. It was a pretty sleepless night before our morning flight. Also, a problem with the booking process. Expedia promotion kept telling me that me that all fees were included in the quote. Once I was made to prepay in order to hold the room at the promoted rate, I got a note back telling me there would be an additional mandatory administrative fee to be paid at the hotel. I'm not even sure that this is legal. I wrote to the hotel to complain about this shaky tactic. I got a response from a Mr. Patel, but the fee was on the invoice and charged to the credit card I had to give in order to check in. The fee looks to be something the hotel agreed to with the local union, and then just passes on to guests. I didn't agree with the union. I think the right thing to do is to disclose the administrative fee up front or be prepared to rebate the charge.

    The airport shuttle was frustratingly disorganized. Sometimes the drivers wouldn’t stop to pick up, and when a new shuttle arrived, it was crowded full of people who obviously weren’t pick up from the previous shuttle. Very difficult to figure out when the shuttle would arrive and if you’d be able to get on it.There was a random wet spot on my carpet that never got dry. The beds were like cardboard. The hotel overall was fine for a very short trip, but I would never choose this place for an extended stay. The staff was nice enough.

    The rooms are not made up in the mornings and if one wants to have it made up it has to be advised before 11am. We ended up with three days of no service. The cost of parking is $50 per day and it’s not even valet it self park.
