The hotel was fine. No one picked up the phone anytime we called before we got there and it is not a very kids friendly hotel. I would say for luxury it definitely was very luxurious but it was not very kids friendly.

The best thing about this hotel is the gym — it’s a full-size gym with many new machines. You can train properly here; it has everything you need. If you want to stay in shape, you will really like it. The main concern and source of dissatisfaction is the room service. From my understanding, in 5-star hotels room service is usually provided twice per day, or at least once. In my case, because of jet lag I always woke up around 1 PM, pressed the “Service” button, and left the hotel. However, to my surprise, nothing had been done when I returned at around 11 PM. I asked reception about this situation, and they simply said that someone would come to take the trash, but full room service would only be done the next day. It seems this is considered normal in this hotel: if you miss the morning service, even if the “Service” button is pressed, you must call reception and request cleaning. There is no evening service, no refresh of water or coffee. On the second day, my slippers tore, and housekeeping removed them during cleaning (which only happened after I called reception). But no replacement slippers were provided for the rest of my stay. Another strange thing was the minibar - it was completely empty. There is a fridge, but nothing inside. Again, this does not feel like a 5-star hotel. The overall condition of the room is acceptable - nothing terrible, but nothing impressive either. The furniture is standard and in some places noticeably worn. The balcony floor was extremely dirty. My son went outside in socks, and they became completely black.

Wonderful hotel. We had a Gold room with lounge facilities. Compared very well to any top class hotel in the world.
- 5/5
Stayed here a couple times and it always lives up to my expectation. Clean and new rooms. Amazing location with walkable distance to the mall. The front desk is always slow with often one staff there. Overall is good experience.

Upon check in an event was taking place in lobby making it very difficult to hear the information causing confusion regarding what was being billed and “perks.” We stay at other Fairmount properties and had high expectations due to the experiences we have had at the other locations. At this property it felt like everything we have come to expect from a Fairmount property was now an extra charge. At times it seemed like we were an inconvenience to staff when asking questions or making a simple request. Food service staff is wonderful but they could not make up for the overall experience. In a place like LA where our hotels options are extensive we will likely stay somewhere else in future visits to the city.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Wonderful food. Spa was lovely.
- 3/5
The restaurant was very good Rooms were very small and cluttered. There were remnants of an old minibar and other stuff taking up space in a very small room. Not what I expected for an upscale hotel.

Front Desk/Valet parking communications were terrible. I asked for my Tesla to be charged for a long drive. No acknowledge/action taken. Had to add an additional hour to our drive due to this. Room was well layout during the recent renovation.

I have been a guest at this hotel on and off for the past 30 years. This hotel use to provide great service. Unfortunately, the hotel management forget about customer service and it has gone down hill. For example, if you are in your room and want to call anyone - you have to go through a 3rd party who then tells you that you will be called back. Or, just checking in... the hotel has one person and no staff to help .... so you are waiting 15 to 25 minutes just to check in. The building - the hotel is still a great place - but if you want service - good luck.
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 5/5
I will definitely go back
- 5/5
Oh my gosh - a wonderful time with the family. Fairmont took care of us!
- 5/5
This is a classic 5 star hotel in an elegant part of LA, near the Westwood Century Mall which has an array of high-end stores and restaurants. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished, service is at the level expected for such a place, the bar and restaurant are excellent, but notably pricy. The building itself is very impressive and every aspect of the place is designed to pamper the guests. A true splurge hotel.
- 3.5/5
Great location Reception staff are slow
- 5/5
The spa services were excellent. Fairmont Gold service was outstanding and the room was of a premier quality. I wish we were staying longer.
- 5/5
Clean room with nice view. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Location, comfort of room. I would also like to thank this hotel particularly when I stayed here in February of 2022. During that stay, I found out my husband was in a tragic accident and your staff helped me to get on my way with the utmost discretion and compassion. I profoundly appreciated their kindness and assistance. Thank you. None

It has a balcony but not much of a view with all the construction. We stayed here for my daughters graduation and my birthday. It would be nice if they offered happy hour at the bar. $33 for a dirty martini was wild!

Our stay was very nice. There is a lot of construction going on but the hotel was very nice. I was there to take my granddaughter to the American Girl store. It was an easy walk and the Century City mall was perfect.

It was an amazing experience
- 4/5
The hotel is very good , we stayed 6 nights. The only problem is the elevator, during our stay only ONE out of 4 is working. A 5 star hotel can not fix elevators for a week !!!
- 5/5
The perfect modern organic elevated peaceful setting. Excellent service. Will go back

I love this place smh every single thing about it! I'm going back.

The front desk and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bartenders by the pool were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant in the hotel was ok and breakfast was very overpriced. The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to the mall.

- 5/5

- 5/5
Bestes Hotel! Personal top!
- 5/5
The staff was professional and kind. The facility is definitely 5 star. The in room dinning options could be better. The presentation was top tier. I would definitely come back.
- 4/5
The guest who stayed in that room before me left a salmon sandwich in the minibar, and no one noticed until I craved a soda two days later. It smelled awful. I chose a room marked "City View," and my view was of the parking lot behind the building... Absolutely everything is extra, and they charge for it that way. In short, it's very good, but there are many hotels that offer the same thing for half the price (Intercontinental, for example).
- 0.5/5
Disappointing stay – not worth the stars The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the valet team and the bellmen — they were polite, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended. The rest of our stay was filled with disappointment: • Our room was left completely untouched — no cleaning, no fresh towels, no bed made. • When we reported it, we were met with excuses and no real solution. • We had to sleep in a dirty room, without any sincere apology or compensation. For a hotel that claims to be five-star, the service was completely unworthy of that rating. No follow-up, no care, no accountability. Definitely not the experience we expected — or paid for. Absolutely unacceptable experience — not worthy of a five-star hotel I stayed at this hotel expecting five-star service. What I got was a complete lack of professionalism, care, and basic hospitality. After being out all day with my family — exhausted, with my young son asleep in his stroller — we returned to find our room completely untouched. No cleaning. No bed made. No fresh towels. Nothing. Just a dirty room and zero explanation. When I addressed the issue, I was told the “Do Not Disturb” button had been activated — a false excuse, as a housekeeper had entered our room at 8:00 AM. Clearly, the sign was not on. No real solution was offered. No sincere apology. No compensation. We were handed a couple of towels and left to sleep in a used, dirty bed. This level of disregard is shameful, especially in a hotel that claims to be luxury. The staff ignored my complaint, and I had to fight just to be acknowledged — even then, no professionalism, no accountability. If you’re looking for a place that respects its guests and lives up to its advertised standards — look elsewhere.

Beautiful property with excellent staff. Parking however is outrageously expensive ($71); which was a bit of a put off.
- 5/5
Proximity to LA Marathon finish and shuttle, service, amenities, spa, pool.
- 5/5
Beautiful property with wonderful staff! Would stay here again for sure!
- 4/5
Lovely property but the office complex across the streets with lights on at night is a distraction
- 4/5
Outside bellman was terrific!
- 5/5
Excellent stay

ROOMS WERE IN GOOD CONDITION, IT MET MY EXPECTATIONS. I ONLY HAD ONE MEAL, BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A BIT SLOW. I RECIEVED A PACKAGE AND WHEN I GOT A CALL FROM THE FRONT DESK, I WAS EXPECTING A DELIVERY TO MY ROOM. OVER A PERIOD OF 3 HOURS I CALLED 3X, UNTIL I FINALLY HAD TO GO DOWN MYSELF AND COLLECT THE ITEMS MYSELF. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR FOR THE BELL MAN TO COME ON AN EMPTY SUNDAY MORNING, WHEN I CALLED DOWN TO SEE WHY THEY HADN'T COME- I WAS TOLD THEY COULDN'T GET AHOLD OF THEM, WHICH WAS FRUSTATING AS I EXPECTED THEM TO CALL ME BACK AND LET ME KNOW NOT JUST LEAVE ME HANGING. THE ROOM SERVICE BUTTON FOR PLATE COLLECTION DID NOT WORK, I CALLED FOR THEM TO COLLECT MY BREAKFAST AT 8 AM, I CHECKED OUT AT 2PM AND WAS DISSAPOINTED TO STILL SEE MY FOOD OUTSIDE MY DOOR. WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A FOOD COLLECTION BUZZER (WHICH I PRESSED A FEW TIMES) ONLY FOR NO ONE TO COME.

Fairmont is a wonderful property with great staff. Very personable.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. Nice area.
- 5/5
Five star all-around but expensive parking.
- 2/5
No where did I see anywhere that I would be charged large fees for parking in your garage. Hidden fees makes any stay no fun!
- 5/5
Great Hotel
- 2/5
No hot water suddenly while I am showering. I am nearly getting sick. Some power issue due to power testing maintenance. But hotel fix this problem later and upgrade my room as compensation. One service manager is amazing at solving problem. But some front desk people are poor at listening customers’ requests.
- 5/5
Would stay again!
- 5/5
Enjoyed
- 5/5
Fantastic Property and nice safe location with walkable distance to Century City Mall. Will definitely stay again in LA.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff helped stay be perfect!
- 3/5
it was super unclear pricing wise, even the front desk agreed that there are tons of hidden fees. just be honest about the cost, it will only benefit you. i much rather stay at the hilton, cheaper price, same cleanliness, same bedroom size. it was just not as exciting or worth it as i thought a 5 star hotel would be.
- 3/5
We have stayed at the hotel several times and always enjoyed our room. This time however we were given an ADA room with a shower curtain which wasn’t ideal. Next time I’ll be sure to ask. The shower experience is normally a wonderful part of the stay.
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff. Rooms are amazing
- 2/5
My experience was bad. Got there at 130 for checkin, along with many many people waiting around for their rooms that are not ready. Went back at 330 still not available. Didn't get into the room Until 6.30pm!!!!! They said they would call or text when ready but never did. They also didn’t service my room all day so had to cxl a business meeting I had at 5pm as room a mess. Very poor general service but the desk manager did try to improve things Paul or Peter I think and he was genuinely upset and sympathetic. 100 dollar credit on food but hey!!! I would not recommend this place as 4 season near by similar price but sooooo much better service. Even the Beverly Hilton the Sunset tower etc. all similar prices but much better standards.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice environment but the check in table only have two staff, sometimes the wait time can be challenging
- 5/5
Great hotel, you get what you pay for 5 star service.
- 5/5
Super close to century city plaza mall
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing in every way. From valet to bell service everyone was courteous, friendly, helpful, and very professional. Both restaurants served excellent food with freshness that rivals 5 star restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave the room.
- 5/5

The receptionist charged my card $904.80 (then changed to $868.35 that went through) knowing I booked through Expedia. She can literally checked in their system if it’s paid or not. Very awkward interaction & incompetent worker. I brought the problem regarding charging ny card on 7/12/24 & was told my money should be back in my account in 3-5days. LIE. It’s already 9/20/24 as I’m typing this review. I spoke to the person on the phone, as I was telling her that my card should not be charged since I already paid on Expedia before checking in At The Same Time she was cutting me off making noises like a baby yayayayaya… RUDE & VEY UNPROFESSIONAL. Pro Tip: if you booked your stay through Expedia, make sure to mention it’s already paid and say do not charge your card that they take to put in their system when checking in if you Do Not want to deal with these type of workers and wait daysssss to get your money back

Robert @ Lumiere restaurant at the Hotel together with Carmen and Duey were an absolute joy as hosts....made me feel at home. Pablo at the bar was prompt, attentive, and very accommodating while at the same time discrete and didn't hover. The experience made hectic business trip just a little easier and more pleasant.
