Room was decent and housekeeping was nice. But due to surprise charges would not recommend

I had a 2 night stay. My room was not cleaned my 2nd day. I did not have my DND sign on the door and when I called to ask about it front office lady said that in fact my room was not on the list, not sure what that meant. I had to get towels at front office. I paid for a roll away that should honestly be thrown out. You are just laying on the springs, ended up not using it because it was so bad and it just hurt to lay on. When I asked front desk about another one she said the other one was in same condition and gave us an extra blanket to put on it. I would appreciate a refund for the $40 I paid. Hotel should just say they do not have roll away beds or purchase new ones. It’s embarrassing to supply that to customers. Beds were comfy I appreciated that and the full size bathroom products. If hotel charges a cleaning fee for smoking and pets and states rooms are cleaned daily it would only be fair to receive a discount on my stay since it was not cleaned daily as the advertisement.

The beds at this days inn were very soft and the shower was decent. The parking was crappy but overall a place to get much needed rest at a good value price.

Very easy no hassle check in, beds were comfortable, nice basic breakfast. The bathroom in our room was missing the inside handle, so that was an issue, couldn't open it from the inside which caused inconveniences. We got there very late so just wanted to sleep. There is this motion activated light under one of the beds which, as a night light, might be a good idea in theory, but it's so bright it kept waking me up every time it went on and even light sheet movement triggered it, so I didn't really sleep as i had hoped. And the ac leaked into the room, that part of the floor was wet.

I was very disappointed with the staff, I ask for maintenance to come to my room for the toilet not flushing right, and the bathtub not draining right, i had to take a shower with water in the tub, maintenance never came, the front desk clerk said she could give me a plunging to do it myself. I don't think I should haft to be maintenance myself and try and fix it myself. I am very disappointed with the staff, when Mike was their i never had a issue, I been coming to this location for years maybe 5 to 6 years and never had a issue like this were my needs were not met. I am disappointed with the staff. Not getting maintenance to come and look at the issue.

The outside looks a bit rough, but once inside the room it was nice and spacious and modern. It said it was free parking, but it was not it was $10 when we could have just parked on the street for free. The breakfast was also not good at all. Offered bagels but no cream cheese, we stayed at a different hotel that was cheaper and offered more options for breakfast. The room doors are outside and the elevator smelled like wee but once inside room it was nice.

The parking is great because I drive an XL truck and I was able to park and leave freely with no issue. The ladies up at the front desk in the afternoon were very helpful and making the process to checking in easy and clear!

Check-in was very slow, even though I had already completed the online pre check-in. We had requested connecting rooms; it would have been fine if they weren’t available, but instead we were assigned rooms facing the road, which were extremely noisy with virtually no soundproofing.

Towels were not soft nor fluffy. After having paid in full at check in 3 additional charges for over $100, were added to my credit card after check out. I sent a message asking for an explanation and was told that they were hols and would drop off within a couple of days. Holds for what? One did drop off and was credited back on day 5. The other two remain.

However, I had a very serious issue regarding the security deposit. At check-in, I was charged a $100 deposit, and I was clearly informed that it would be refunded at check-out. At check-out, they confirmed again that the amount would be returned. However, the deposit was processed as an actual charge, not just a temporary authorization. It has now been one week, and I have not received the refund. Despite reaching out, I have not received a proper resolution. I feel misled, taken advantage of, and robbed. This has never happened to me before at any hotel. This situation completely undermines the experience and trust in the hotel. I expect an urgent resolution, as this is unacceptable.

The room at Days Inn Lawndale looks renovated, but it had a strong musty smell and bugs crawling around. The door doesn’t seal properly and has noticeable gaps, which made it feel unsafe, especially since people walk by the rooms all the time. One night someone knocked on my door at 1 a.m., which was very concerning. Overall, cleanliness and safety need serious improvement.

Nice clean room, and the staff was very helpful. The only negative was we had some issues with our room key and i booked a King bed but was given a room with twp queen bed. The hotel said there was no notation on the reservation regading a king bed

Good location with friendly people. The rooms have been renovated. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is minimum and there is traffic noise at night. We were there 5 nights and the elevator were out of order the entire time.

This place was just ok. Not very accessible for my mother who was in a wheelchair. Do not recommend for anyone who needs accessibility. You can hear through the walls. Very noisy.

The area right around the hotel isnt the best and the hotel itself is kinda sketchy on the outside. Parts of parking were closed off for what i assume was some kind of construction. The 2 staff member i talked to during my stay were very friendly and great. The inside of the room was much nicer then youd expect from the outside for sure. Overall, satisfied with our stay.

Staff at check in was very professional and polite. Made me feel welcome. Room was great for a few nights stay. I will say the only drawback is limited parking. Got in late one night and was lucky one car was pulling out or would have to have used street parking with my rental car.

Area is ok to walk. Several supermarkets and dining options. Room was spacious , with a fridge and bed very comfortable. AC worked well. Big bathroom with extra toiletries. Under 150 USd Good value on a weekend for LA. And not far from airport.

The hotel said that it was close to the airport, the name of the hotel has LAX airport in it and it is not close. It takes 15 minutes by car to get to the airport. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy but it was all my perception, maybe it isn’t really. There’s a CVS next door. Overall, a nice hotel for the money we payed.

It was good. Wasnt the greatest because the property is old and wall paper is torn in the restrooms. Hot water is installed backwards on the plumbing, the shower had a leak in the plumbing side. The hotel didnt come stock wtih shampoos and i paid more than what i got for the deal.

The property is very old and our room I had to wipe down with Clorox wipes. The bathroom had been filled with putty so many times to fix it was coming off. Definitely will not stay here again.

Stay was overall pretty good. I stayed in room 310. However, there were no bath towels and when I tried to call the front desk, the phone microphone didn't work. Tried to shower anyway, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent and there was no hot water.

Breakfast was spare but adequate and hot tub easy to use. Maid came while I was out and did great job all five days, I left extra tip and mentioned to front desk how happy I was, you could tell how much time they put into removing graffiti and smell to keep your elevator so clean. My last day I received notice my mother was in hospital and she did not make it, your staff were so nice, I forgot my watch when I left useing card of file I left and was able to at least see her. Your staff called me and mailed me my watch so I received it today, I was so happy it was a gift from my father but is a Rolex! They were so great, thanks again. If you let me know the name of employee I talkrd to I would lik e to ensure she receives something for her/his time.

The breakfast was a joke. Almost nothing to eat. Out of orange juice. Ask service person about it and he said he didn’t know how to do it. He was in to much of a hurry to get back to his phone. Will not stay at another DaysInn. This is the second Days Inn and the first one was a poor place to stay.

I reserved a non smoking room for my family (two kids and my wife) and the room had a strong smoke smell. I asked for a refund, but the person in the reception told me that I have to contact expedia first. That wasn´t possible because I didn´t had a local phone number. We have to reserve another hotel for the same night(in expedia too)

This is a seedy motel. There was a toilet plunger outside my door when I got to the room and of course toilet barely flushed. The paint was hanging down from the ceiling with a big hole so you can see all the mold. Sticky clear fluid on the bathroom floor, hairs on the sink counter etc etc etc. they did refund my money the next day but I did not sleep there. I’d rather sleep in my car. Gross… and it was over $200 the night I stayed there.

This property is in close proximity to beaches but the property is outdated and poorly maintained. Ok if you’re planning on spending most of your time out all day.

Both rooms our family stayed had an odd odor. Our room had a phone but it was not plugged and am outlet could not be found. However, we were offered a discount for the phone which we accepted.

The Hotel is really old old. The rooms smell humidity, you spend more the $16 just to use the dryer machine. Watch out for for parking under the roof occasionally open holes and people parking really bad. Missing light ball in the lamps. The staff are very nice and helpful. Restaurants opens until 9 pm.

This is one of my go-to affordable hotels when staying in L.A.'s South Bay. The manager and staff are very good, and the updated rooms that I've stayed in multiple times are clean and comfortable, with nice features like microwaves and mini refrigerators in-room, and laundry facilities on-site. Location is freeway close with lots of restaurants and shopping places nearby. Not luxury, but clean, pleasant and affordable.
